Ardisia elliptica Thunberg (Myrsinaceae) is a medicinal plant traditionally used for alleviating chest pains, treatment of fever, diarrhoea, liver poisoning and parturition complications. The objectives of the study were to investigate the effect of A. elliptica on collagen induced platelet aggregation and to isolate and purify potential antiplatelet components. Fresh A. elliptica leaves were extracted using methanol (70% v/v) by Soxhlet extraction and the extract was analysed for its inhibition of collagen-induced platelet aggregation. Inhibition of platelet aggregation was assessed by incubating the extracts with rabbit blood and collagen in a whole blood aggregometer and measuring the impedance. The leaf extract was found to inhibit platelet aggregation with an IC50 value of 167 microg/ml. Using bioassay guided fractionation, beta-amyrin was isolated and purified. The IC50 value of beta-amyrin was found to be 4.5 microg/ml (10.5 microM) while that of aspirin was found to be 11 microg/ml (62.7 microM), indicating that beta-amyrin was six times as active as aspirin in inhibiting platelet aggregation. This paper is the first report that beta-amyrin isolated from A. elliptica is more potent than aspirin in inhibiting collagen-induced platelet aggregation. In conclusion, A. elliptica leaves were found to inhibit collagen-induced platelet aggregation and one of the bioactive components responsible for the observed effect was determined to be beta-amyrin.  相似文献

A protein that blocks collagen-stimulated platelet aggregation has been identified and isolated from the soluble fraction of salivary glands from Haementeria officinalis leeches. We have named this protein leech antiplatelet protein (LAPP). LAPP was isolated from soluble crude salivary gland extract by heparin-agarose, size exclusion, and C18 reverse phase high-performance chromatography. Its molecular weight is approximately 16,000 on sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis under both reduced and nonreduced conditions. The sequences of peptides generated by V8 digestion of LAPP as well as its amino acid composition suggested no homology to other known proteins. The IC50 for LAPP to inhibit platelet aggregation was approximately 60 nM. This inhibitory activity is specific for collagen-induced aggregation. Platelet aggregation in response to ADP, arachidonic acid, U46619, thrombin, and ionophore A23187 was not inhibited by LAPP at a concentration that blocked platelet aggregation to collagen by 100%. In contrast, crude salivary gland-soluble extract contained activity(ies) which inhibited aggregation to all these agonists except thrombin at 1 unit/ml and 2 microM A23187. Thus, the H. officinalis leech has evolved multiple mechanisms to prevent hemostasis, including an inhibitor of collagen-stimulated platelet aggregation. The identification and isolation of LAPP demonstrates the existence of a new type of platelet inhibitor that should be useful to better understand the mechanism of collagen stimulation of platelets.  相似文献

Abstract

The incubation of platelet-rich rat plasma with liposomes has changed cell functional activity. Phospholipids of liposomal membrane was modulated collagen - mediated platelet aggregation. Vesicles containing phosphatidylserine (1.6 mg/ml) have inhibited platelet aggregation induced by 1 mcg/ml collagen completely. Phoshatidylinositol liposomes didn't show considerable effect on the maximum value of aggregation but they reduced the speed and the level of disaggregation. The impairment of aggregation in platelet-rich plasma can be explained by the interactions of liposomes with plasma coagulation factors and the following formation of the inactive complexes.  相似文献

This study sought to evaluate whether consumption of polyphenol extract from Cognac (CPC) modulates platelet activation and cardiovascular reactivity in rats. Male Wistar rats were treated daily for 4 weeks by intra-gastric gavage receiving CPC at 80 mg/kg/day or vehicle (5 % glucose). Platelet adhesion and aggregation in response to different activators were assessed. Cardiac and vascular reactivity in response to various agonists as well as NO measurement by electron paramagnetic resonance technique were investigated in isolated heart and thoracic aorta. Oral administration of CPC decreased platelet aggregation induced by ADP but not by collagen. CPC did not affect adhesion to collagen. The chronotropic but not the inotropic response to isoprenaline was reduced without alteration of NO production in hearts from CPC-treated rats. CPC treatment did not affect ex vivo relaxation to acetylcholine nor NO content of rat aorta. CPC did not significantly alter the response to phenylephrine in aorta despite the participation of endothelial vasoconstrictor products. In summary, chronic treatment with CPC has no impact on ex vivo vascular and cardiac reactivity; however, it reduced heart work and platelet aggregation. These data suggest the existence of compounds in Cognac that may decrease the risk of coronary thrombosis and protect against some cardiac diseases.  相似文献

Extracts of Australian plants were screened to detect constituents affecting adenosine di-phosphate (ADP) induced platelet aggregation and [14C]5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) release. Extracts of four tested plants including, Eremophila gilesii, Erythrina vespertilio, Cymbopogon ambiguus, and Santalum acuminatum, were found to cause significant inhibition of platelet 5-HT release. Inhibition levels ranged from 56-98%, and was not due to the non-specific effects of protein binding tannins. These extracts, and those we have previously identified as being active, were examined further to determine if they affect epinephrine (EPN), arachidonic acid (A.A) or collagen stimulated platelet aggregation and 5-HT release. Among those extracts investigated, we found that both the methanolic extract of E. vespertilio and the dichloromethane (DCM) extract of C. ambiguus were most potent and caused significant inhibition of platelet activation induced by EPN, A.A and to a lesser extent by collagen. Inhibition of ADP induced platelet 5-HT release by both of these extracts, was dose-dependent, with IC50 values for E. vespertilio and C. ambiguus estimated to be 20.4 microl (1.855 mg/ml) and 8.34 microl (0.758 mg/ml), respectively. Overall, C. ambiguus exhibited most activity and also caused dose-dependent inhibition of A.A induced platelet activation. These results indicate that inhibition may occur specifically at a site within the A.A pathway, and suggest the presence of a cyclo-oxygenase inhibitor. Both E. vespertilio and C. ambiguus are reported to be traditional headache treatments, with the present study providing evidence that they affect 5-HT release.  相似文献

By determining the sum of the supernatant concentrations of nitrite and nitrate the stimulated generation of nitric oxide (NO) by human washed platelets induced by a range of fibrillar collagen concentrations (0.0156-25 microg ml(-1)) was investigated. Platelet serotonin (5-hydroxytryptamine, 5-HT) efflux and platelet aggregation were also measured. Under resting conditions (0 microg ml(-1) collagen) platelet NO release was equivalent to 1.06+/-0.17 nmol per 10(8) platelets. Maximal NO release, equivalent to 2.1+/-0. 37 nmol per 10(8) platelets, was observed with only 0.0625 microg ml(-1) collagen (P<0.02, stimulated vs. resting release), higher collagen concentrations producing no further increases in platelet NO output. By contrast, maximal platelet aggregation and 5-HT efflux did not occur until collagen concentrations of 2.5 microg ml(-1) and 10-25 microg ml-1), respectively, had been achieved. L-NAME (1 mmol l(-1)) and L-NMMA (1 mmol l(-1)) inhibited stimulated platelet NO generation by 78+/-6% and 72%, respectively. Contrasting with fibrillar collagen, fibrillar beta-amyloid protein had no effect on platelet NO generation, or on 5-HT efflux or aggregation. These data perhaps indicate that NO generation by human platelets is stimulated by concentrations of fibrillar collagen insufficient to elicit an aggregatory response. Such a mechanism could operate in vivo to inhibit platelet aggregation which might otherwise be induced by low concentrations of circulating agonists.  相似文献

The inhibitory activity of saffron extract was studied on human platelets. Platelet aggregation and lipid peroxidation were evaluated with platelet rich plasma (PRP) and platelet membranes respectively obtained from blood of healthy human volunteers. Human platelets were subjected to stimulation with a variety of agonists like ADP (61 μM), epinephrine (76 μM), collagen (11 μg/ml), calcium ionophore A 23187 (6 μM) and ristocetin (1.25 μg/ml) in the presence and absence of saffron extract with IC50 being 0.66, 0.35, 0.86 and 0.59 mg respectively and no inhibition with ristocetin. The inhibitory effect was dose dependent with concentrations varying between 0.16 to 0.80 mg and time dependent at IC50. A significant decrease was observed in malondialdehyde (MDA) formed, one of the end products of arachidonic acid metabolism and of serotonin released from dense granules of platelets at respective IC50. Lipid peroxidation in platelet membranes induced by iron-ascorbic acid system was inhibited by saffron extract significantly with IC50 of 0.33 mg. Hence, it may be said that aqueous extract of saffron may have component(s), which protect platelets from aggregation and lipid peroxidation. (Mol Cell Biochem 278: 59–63, 2005)  相似文献

We investigated the relationship between HSP27 phosphorylation and collagen-stimulated activation of platelets in patients with diabetes mellitus (DM). Platelet-rich plasma was prepared from blood of type 2 DM patients. The platelet aggregation was analyzed in size of aggregates by an aggregometer using a laser scattering method. The protein phosphorylation was analyzed by Western blotting. Phosphorylated-HSP27 and PDGF-AB released from platelets were measured by ELISA. The phosphorylated-HSP27 levels at Ser-78 and Ser-82 induced by collagen were directly proportional to the platelet aggregation. Total HSP27 levels in platelets were decreased concomitantly with the phosphorylation. The released HSP27 levels were significantly correlated with the phosphorylated levels of HSP27 in the platelets stimulated by 0.3 μg/ml collagen. The low dose collagen-stimulated release of HSP27 was detected but relatively small in healthy donors. The released levels of PDGF-AB were in parallel with the levels of released HSP27. Area under the curve (AUC) of small aggregation (9-25 μm) induced by 0.3 μg/ml collagen was inversely proportional to the levels of released HSP27. AUC of large aggregation (50-70 μm) was directly proportional to the levels of released HSP27. Exogenous recombinant phosphorylated- HSP27 hardly affected the aggregation or the released levels of PDGF-AB induced by collagen. These results strongly suggest that HSP27 is released from human platelets accompanied with its phosphorylation induced by collagen, which is correlated with the acceleration of platelet aggregation in type 2 DM patients.  相似文献

Antiplatelet actions of aqueous extract of onion were investigated in rat and human platelet. IC(50)values of onion extract for collagen-, thrombin-, arachidonic acid (AA)-induced aggregations and collagen-induced thromboxane A(2)(TXA(2)) formation were 0.17 +/- 0. 01, 0.23 + 0.03, 0.34 +/- 0.02 and 0.12 +/- 0.01 g/ml, respectively. [(3)H]-AA release induced by collagen (10 microg/ml) in rat platelet was decreased by onion compared to control (22.1 +/- 2.13 and 5.2 +/- 0.82% of total [(3)H]-AA incorporated, respectively). In fura-2 loaded platelets, the elevation of intracellular Ca(2+)concentration stimulated by collagen was inhibited by onion. Onion had no cytotoxic effect in platelet. Onion significantly inhibited TXA(2)synthase activity without influence on COX activity. Platelet aggregation induced by U46619, a stable TXA(2)mimetic, was inhibited by onion, indicating its antagonism for TXA(2)/PGH(2)receptor. These results suggest that the mechanism for antiplatelet effect of onion may, at least partly, involve AA release diminution, TXA(2)synthase inhibition and TXA(2)/PGH(2)receptor blockade.  相似文献

Platelet aggregation inducer and inhibitor were isolated from Echis carinatus snake venom. The venom inducer caused aggregation of washed rabbit platelets which could be inhibited completely by heparin or hirudin. The venom inducer also inhibit both the reversibility of platelet aggregation induced by ADP and the disaggregating effect of prostaglandin E1 on the aggregation induced by collagen in the presence of heparin. The venom inhibitor decreased the platelet aggregation induced by collagen, thrombin, ionophore A23187, arachidonate, ADP and platelet-activating factor (PAF) with an IC50 of around 10 μg/ml. It did not inhibit the agglutination of formaldehyde-treated platelets induced by polylysine. In the presence of indomethacin or in ADP-refractory platelets or thrombin-degranulated platelets, the venom inhibitor further inhibited the collagen-induced aggregation. Fibrinogen antagonized competitively the inhibitory action of the venom inhibitor in collagen-induced aggregation. In chymotrypsin-treated platelets, the venom inhibitor abolished the aggregation induced by fibrinogen. It was concluded that the venom inducer caused platelet aggregation indirectly by the conversion of prothrombin to thrombin, while the venom inhibitor inhibited platelet aggregation by interfering with the interaction between fibrinogen and platelets.  相似文献

Effects of inhaled nitric oxide (NO) on human platelet function are controversial. It is uncertain whether intraplatelet cGMP mediates the effect of inhaled NO on platelet function. We investigated the effect of 30 ppm inhaled NO on platelet aggregation and plasma and intraplatelet cGMP in 12 subjects. We performed platelet aggregation studies by using a photooptical aggregometer and five agonists (ADP, collagen, epinephrine, arachidonic acid, and ristocetin). During inhalation, the maximal extent of platelet aggregation decreased by 75% with epinephrine (P < 0.005), 56% with collagen (P < 0.005), and 20% with arachidonic acid (P < 0.05). Responses to ADP (8% P > 0.05) and ristocetin (5% P > 0.05) were unaffected. Platelet aggregation velocity decreased by 64% with collagen (P < 0.005), 60% with epinephrine (P < 0.05), 33% with arachidonic acid (P < 0.05), and 14% with ADP (P > 0.05). Plasma cGMP levels increased from 2.58 +/- 0.43 to 9.99 +/- 5.57 pmol/ml (P < 0.005), intraplatelet cGMP levels were unchanged (means +/- SD: 1.96 +/- 0.58 vs. 2.71 +/- 1.67 pmol/109 platelets; P > 0.05). Inhaled NO inhibits platelet aggregation via a cGMP independent mechanism.  相似文献

A synthetic octapeptide derived from type III collagen which specifically inhibits the activation and aggregation of platelets by collagen without affecting their adhesion was assayed on the collagen and ADP dependent fibrinogen binding to platelets. With 20 micrograms/ml collagen, the octapeptide (6 mM) inhibited by 68% the fibrinogen binding: this inhibition was correlated (p less than 0.01) to a decrease in the velocity of aggregation, suggesting that the fibrinogen binding might influence this parameter. The octapeptide did not affect the ADP-induced platelet aggregation and fibrinogen binding. This indicates that the octapeptide does not inhibit the binding of fibrinogen to its receptor directly, but interferes with some step(s) preceding the collagen-induced expression of the fibrinogen receptor.  相似文献

By means of CM-Sephadex C-50 column chromatography and gel filtration on Sephadex G-75 and G-50 columns, a potent platelet aggregation inhibitor was purified and characterized. It was a glycoprotein with a molecular weight of 31,000. It was devoid of phospholipase A, ADPase, esterase and fibrino(geno)lytic activities. It inhibited dose-dependently the aggregation of washed platelets induced by collagen, thrombin, sodium arachidonate, platelet activating factor and ionophore A23187 with a similar IC50 (5-10 micrograms/ml). It was also active in platelet-rich plasma, with an IC50 of 10-15 micrograms/ml. The venom inhibitor reduced the elasticity of whole blood clot and inhibited the thrombin-induced clot retraction of platelet-rich plasma. These activities were related to its inhibitory activity on platelet aggregation rather than blood coagulation. The venom inhibitor had various effects on [14C]serotonin release stimulated by aggregation agonists. It had no effect on thromboxane B2 formation of platelets stimulated by sodium arachidonate, collagen and ionophore A23187. The presence of this venom inhibitor prior to the initiation of aggregation was a prerequisite for the maintenance of its maximal activity. It showed a similar inhibitory effect on collagen or thrombin-induced aggregation even when it was added after the platelets had undergone the shape change. High fibrinogen levels partially antagonized its activity. The venom inhibitor completely inhibited the fibrinogen-induced aggregation of alpha-chymotrypsin-treated platelets. It is concluded that this venom inhibitor interferes with the interaction of fibrinogen with fibrinogen receptors, leading to inhibition of aggregation.  相似文献

Total flavones of Hippophae Rhamnoides L (TFH) are extracted from Sea buckthorn, a Chinese herbal medicine. Sea buckthorn has antioxidant, anti-ulcerogenic and hepato-protective actions, and its berry oil is reported to suppress platelet aggregation. Though it is frequently used for patients with thrombosis, the likely mechanism(s) and effects of TFH on thrombogenesis remain unclear. Thus, we have investigated the effect in-vivo of TFH on thrombogenesis and in vitro on platelet aggregation, comparing them to those of aspirin. We measured thrombotic occlusion time in a mouse femoral artery thrombosis model by the photochemical reaction between intravenously injected rose bengal and green light irradiation. In vitro platelet aggregation in whole blood was measured by single platelet counting. Thrombotic occlusion time was 8.5 +/- 0.6 min in the control group. TFH at a dose of 300 micro g/kg, intravenously administered 15 min before the rose bengal injection, significantly prolonged it to 11.6 +/- 1.0 min (P < 0.05), a similar effect on in-vivo thrombogenesis to that of aspirin. TFH at a concentration of 3.0 micro g/ml significantly (P < 0.01) inhibited in vitro platelet aggregation induced by collagen (2 micro g/ml) in a concentration dependent manner, in contrast TFH did not affect aggregation induced by arachidonic acid (80 micro M) and ADP (0.3 micro M).The results of the present study, in which TFH prevented in-vivo thrombogenesis, probably due to inhibition of platelet aggregation, suggest a possible clinical approach for the prevention of thrombosis.  相似文献

There are 2 to 6 billion betel quid (BQ) chewers in the world. Areca nut (AN), a BQ component, modulates arachidonic acid (AA) metabolism, which is crucial for platelet function. AN extract (1 and 2 mg/ml) stimulated rabbit platelet aggregation, with induction of thromboxane B2 (TXB2) production. Contrastingly, Piper betle leaf (PBL) extract inhibited AA-, collagen-, and U46619-induced platelet aggregation, and TXB2 and prostaglandin-D2 (PGD2) production. PBL extract also inhibited platelet TXB2 and PGD2 production triggered by thrombin, platelet activating factor (PAF), and adenosine diphosphate (ADP), whereas little effect on platelet aggregation was noted. Moreover, PBL is a scavenger of O2(*-) and *OH, and inhibits xanthine oxidase activity and the (*)OH-induced PUC18 DNA breaks. Deferoxamine, 1,2-bis(2-aminophenoxy)ethane-N,N,N',N'-tetraacetic acid (BAPTA) and neomycin prevented AN-induced platelet aggregation and TXB2 production. Indomethacin, genistein, and PBL extract inhibited only TXB2 production, but not platelet aggregation. Catalase, superoxide dismutase, and dimethylthiourea (DMT) showed little effect on AN-induced platelet aggregation, whereas catalase and DMT inhibited the AN-induced TXB2 production. These results suggest that AN-induced platelet aggregation is associated with iron-mediated reactive oxygen species production, calcium mobilization, phospholipase C activation, and TXB2 production. PBL inhibited platelet aggregation via both its antioxidative effects and effects on TXB2 and PGD2 production. Effects of AN and PBL on platelet aggregation and AA metabolism is crucial for platelet activation in the oral mucosa and cardiovascular system in BQ chewers.  相似文献

Platelet abnormalities of Tester Moriyama (TM) rats, which have prolonged bleeding time with normal platelet count, were characterized by comparison with those of fawn-hooded (FH) rats with platelet storage pool deficiency (SPD). Morphologically, the dense granules were virtually lacking in platelets from TM and FH rats. Platelets from TM and FH rats aggregated in response to adenosine diphosphate (ADP), but failed to have secondary aggregation. In contrast, platelet aggregation was completely absent in response to 1 to 20 micrograms of collagen/ml, although partial aggregation was observed at the higher dosage of 50 micrograms/ml. Normal amounts of platelet membrane glycoproteins IIb/IIIa were expressed in TM and FH rats, but platelet adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and ADP contents were lower than those in platelets from control Wistar rats. Platelet ATP-to-ADP ratio of TM and FH rats was significantly higher than that of Wistar rats. Serotonin content in platelets from TM and FH rats was 20 to 25% that of Wistar rat platelets. These results suggested that platelet abnormalities of TM rats are a typical characteristic of platelet SPD and are similar to those of FH rats, which are genetically different from TM rats. Therefore, TM rats may serve as a useful animal model for the study of platelet SPD.  相似文献

An ethereal extract of omum (Trachyspermum ammi; Hindustani: ajwan)--a frequently consumed spice--was found to inhibit platelet aggregation induced by arachidonic acid (AA), epinephrine and collagen; in this respect it was most effective against AA-induced aggregation. Inhibition of aggregation by omum could be explained by its effect on platelet thromboxane production as suggested by the following experimental observation. (i) Omum reduced TxB2 formation in intact platelet preparations from added arachidonate, and (ii) it reduced the formation of TxB2 from AA-labelled platelets after stimulation with Ca2+-ionophore A23187 by a direct action on cyclooxygenase as it did not affect the release of AA from labelled platelets. An increased formation of lipoxygenase-derived products from exogenous AA in omum-treated platelets was apparently due to redirection of AA from cyclooxygenase to the lipoxygenase pathway.  相似文献

Extracts from the leaves of the Ginkgo biloba are becoming increasingly popular as a treatment that is claimed to reduce atherosclerosis, coronary artery disease, and thrombosis. In this study, the effect of ginkgolide B (GB) from Ginkgo biloba leaves in collagen (10 microg/ml)- stimulated platelet aggregation was investigated. It has been known that human platelets release matrix metalloproteinase- 9 (MMP-9), and that it significantly inhibited platelet aggregation stimulated by collagen. Zymographic analysis confirmed that pro-MMP-9 (92-kDa) was activated by GB to form an MMP-9 (86-kDa) on gelatinolytic activities. And then, activated MMP-9 by GB dose-dependently inhibited platelet aggregation, intracellular Ca2+ mobilization, and thromboxane A2 (TXA2) formation in collagen-stimulated platelets. Activated MMP-9 by GB directly affects down-regulations of cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1) or TXA2 synthase in a cell free system. In addition, activated MMP-9 significantly increased the formation of cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) and cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP), which have the anti-platelet function in resting and collagen-stimulated platelets. Therefore, we suggest that activated MMP-9 by GB may increase the intracellular cAMP and cGMP production, inhibit the intracellular Ca2+ mobilization and TXA2 production, thereby leading to inhibition of platelet aggregation. These results strongly indicate that activated MMP-9 is a potent inhibitor of collagen-stimulated platelet aggregation. It may act a crucial role as a negative regulator during platelet activation.  相似文献

While platelet derived growth factor (PDGF) did not induce any platelet aggregation nor secretion, it modified the polyphosphoinositide metabolism of human platelets prelabeled with 32P-orthophosphate. We found a decrease of 32P associated with phosphatidylinositol 4,5 bisphosphate after 3 min, with parallel increase of 32P-phosphatidylinositol 4 phosphate and 32P-phosphatidylinositol using 100 ng/ml of PDGF. This modification was PDGF concentration dependent. PDGF inhibited thrombin and collagen induced platelet aggregation and 14C-serotonin release in a dose dependent manner, but was without effect when arachidonic acid was used. These results suggest that PDGF (i) stimulated the hydrolysis of polyphosphoinositides (ii) and could exert a negative feedback control on platelet activation induced by thrombin or collagen.  相似文献

Stimulated human blood platelets release thrombospondin, an alpha-granule glycoprotein of 450 kDa. The aim of this work was to characterize an anti-thrombospondin monoclonal antibody (P8) in order to study the role of thrombospondin in platelet functions. The presence of thrombospondin receptor sites on resting and thrombin-stimulated platelets of three Glanzmann's thrombasthenia patients and normal donors was investigated using the P8 monoclonal antibody. Monoclonal antibody P8 was extensively characterized using ELISA, immunoprecipitation, immunoadsorbent affinity chromatography combined with tryptic peptide map analysis and crossed immunoelectrophoretic techniques. Labelled P8 bound strongly to thrombin-stimulated normal platelets (n = 14917 +/- 420, mean +/- SD) (Kd = 9.2 +/- 3.0 nM) and poorly to resting platelets (n = 2697 +/- 1278) (Kd = 24.8 +/- 18.6 nM). Moreover, the number of binding sites for P8 on thrombin-stimulated platelets from three Glanzmann's thrombasthenia patients, lacking the IIb-IIIa glycoprotein complex, were found similar to normal samples. F(ab')2 fragments of P8 inhibited aggregation of, and reduced secretion from, washed platelets stimulated by low concentrations of thrombin (0.05-0.06 U/ml) and collagen (0.5-0.6 microgram/ml). F(ab')2 fragments of P8 inhibited thrombin-induced platelet aggregation, but did not reduce fibrinogen binding (n) nor affect its dissociation constant (Kd). Inhibition of platelet aggregation by P8 suggests that thrombospondin plays an active role in promoting platelet aggregation, at low concentrations of thrombin and collagen. Normal binding of P8 to thrombin-stimulated Glanzmann thrombasthenic platelets indicates the presence of a thrombospondin receptor on the platelet surface distinct from the GPIIb-IIIa complex.  相似文献
