Metathesis of [(η33−C10H16)Ru(Cl) (μ−Cl)]2 (1) with [R3P) (Cl)M(μ-Cl)]2 (M = Pd, Pt), [Me2NCH2C6H4Pd(μ-Cl)]2 and [(OC)2Rh(μ-Cl)]2 affords the heterobimetallic chloro bridged complexes (η33-C10H16) (Cl)Ru(μ-Cl)2M(PR3)(Cl) (M = Pd, Pt), (η33-C10H16) (Cl)Ru(μ-Cl)2PdC6H4CH2NMe2 and (η33-C10H16) (Cl)Ru(μ-Cl)2Rh(CO)2, respectively. Complex 1 reacts with [Cp*M(Cl) (μ-Cl)]2 (M = Rh, Ir), [p-cymene Ru(Cl) (μ-Cl]2 and [(Cy3P)Cu(μ-Cl)]2 to give an equilibrium of the heterobimetallic complexes and of educts. The structures of (η33-C10H16)Ru(μ-Cl)2Pd(PR3) (Cl) (R = Et, Bu) and of one diastereoisomer of (η33-C10H16)Ru(μ-Cl)2IrCp*(Cl) were determined by X-ray diffraction.  相似文献

Cis(or trans)-[RuCl2(CO)2(PPh3)2] react with two and one equivalents of AgBF4 to give the recently reported [Ru(CO)2(PPh3)2][BF4]2·CH2Cl2 (1) and novel [RuCl(CO)2(PPh3)2][BF4] · 1/2 CH2Cl2 (2), respectively. Cis-[RuCl2(CO)2(PPh3)2] also reacts with two equivalents of AgBF4 in the presence of CO to give [Ru(CO)3(PPh3)2][BF4]2 (3). Reactions of 1 and 2 with NaOMe and CO at 1 atm produce the carbomethoxy species [Ru(COOMe)2(CO)2(PPh3)2] (4) and [RuCl(COOMe)(CO)2(PPh3)2] (5), respectively. Complex 4 can also be formed from the reaction of 3 with NaOMe and CO. Alternatively, 4 is formed from cis-[RuCl2(CO)2(PPh3)2] with NaOMe and CO at elevated pressure (10 atm); if these reactants are refluxed under 1 atm of CO, [Ru(CO)3(PPh3)2] is the product. The reaction of [RuCl(CO)3(PPh3)2][AlCl4] with NaOMe provides an alternative route to the preparation of 5, but the product is contaminated with [RuCl2(CO)2(PPh3)2]. Compounds 1. 2, 4 and 5 have been characterised by IR, 1H NMR and analysis, whilst the formulation of 3 is proposed from spectroscopic data only. This account also examines the reactivity of [Ru(CO)2(PPh3)2][BF4]2 · CH2Cl2 with NaBH4, conc. HCl, KI and, finally, MeCOONa in the presence of CO. The products of these reactions, namely cis-[RuH2(CO)2(PPh3)2], cis-[RuCl2(CO)2(PPh3)2], cis-[RuI2(CO)2(PPh3)2] and [Ru(OOCMe)2(CO)2(PPh3)2], have been identified by comparison of their spectra with previous literature.  相似文献

Kinetic and activation parameter data for the reactions of cct-Ru(H)2(CO)2(PPh3)2 (1) (cct = cis, cis, trans) in THF with thiols, CO and PPh3 to give cct-RuH(SR)(CO)2(PPh3)2, Ru(CO)3(PPh3)2 and Ru(CO)2(PPh3)2, respectively, reveal a common, rate-determining step, the initial dissociation of H2 from 1; the activated complex probably resembles the corresponding Ru(η2-H2) species. Reaction of Ru(H)2(dppm)2 (2) (as a cis/trans mixture, DPPM = bis(diphenylphosphino)methane) with thiols initially generated cis- and trans- RuH(SR) (dppm)2 with a rate that depends on both the type and concentration of thiol. The higher basicity of the hydride ligands in 2 (versus 1), which is demonstrated by deuterium exchange with CD3OD, gives rise in the thiol reaction to an initial protonation step prior to loss of H2. A species detected in the thiol reaction is possibly [RuH(η2-H2 (dppm)2]2, the anticipated intermediate for this reaction and for the hydrogen exchange with alcohol. A longer reaction of 2 with PhCH2SH gives solely cis-Ru(SCH2Ph)2(dppm)2.  相似文献

The complex Ir(CH3) (CO) (CF3SO3)2 (dppe) (1) has been synthesized from the reaction of Ir(CH3)I2(CO) (dppe) and silver triflate. Methane and IrH(CO) (CF3SO3)2 (dppe) (2) are formed when a methylene chloride solution of 1 is placed under 760 torr dihydrogen. Conductivity studies indicate that methylene chloride solutions of complexes 1 and 2 are weak electrolytes and only partially ionized at concentrations above 1 mM. Complex 2 is an effective hydrogenation catalyst for ethylene and 1-hexene while acetone hydrogenation is inhibited by the formation of [IrH2(HOCH(CH3)2) (CO) (dppe)] (OTf) (3). Linear dimerization and polymerization of styrene occurs via a carbocationic mechanism initiated by triflic acid elimination from 2. Treatment of an acetonitrile solution of Ir(CH3)I2(CO) (dppe) with silver hexafluorophosphate produces the solvent promoted carbonyl insertion product [Ir(C(O)CH3) (NCCH3)3 (dppe)] [PF6]2 (7) which readily undergoes deinsertion in methylene chloride to form [Ir(CH3) (CO) (NCCH3)2 (dppe)] [PF6]2 (8) and acetonitrile.  相似文献

A spectroscopic and spectroelectrochemical comparison is made among homo- and heterobimetallic complexes of the form [(bpy)2Ru(BL)Os(byp)2]4+, [(bpy)2Ru(BL)Ru(bpy)2]4+ and [(bpy)2Os(BL)Os(bpy)2]4+ (BL = 2,3,-bis(2′-pyridyl)pyrazzine(dpp),2,3-bis(2′-pyridyl)quinoxaline(dpq) or 2,3-bis(2′-pyridyl)benzoquinoxaline(dpb); bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine). It has been postulated that the spectroscopy of the mixed-metal bimetallic complexes bridged by polyazine bridging ligands can be assigned by comparison to those of the homobimetallic analogs. We have in hand a unique series of complexes where such a postulate can be tested. Utilizing the visible spectra of the homobimetallic Os,Os and Ru,Ru systems, we have been able to generate the spectra of the mixed-metal complexes. Some differences have been seen, particularly in the energy of the Os → dpp 3MLCT. Oxidative spectroelectrochemistry studies on the homobimetallic ruthenium or osmium based systems indicate that upon complete oxidation of both metal centers, transitions in the visible are lost. Hence, partial oxidation of the ruthenium based homobimetallics and Os, Ru mixed-metal bimetallics allows for the direct comparison of the spectroscopic character of the one remaining ruthenium chromophore within these mixed-valence systems. Oxidation to form the Os(III)/Ru(II) species and the Ru(III)/Ru(II) species resulted in similar spectra. This establishes further that the visible spectroscopy of mixed-metal systems of this nature can be accurately interpreted by comparison to the homobimetallic analogs.  相似文献

Reactions of [Rh(COD)Cl]2 with the ligand RN(PX2)2 (1: R = C6H5; X = OC6H5) give mono- or disubstituted complexes of the type [Rh2(COD)Cl22−C6H5N(P(OC6H5)2)2}] or [RhCl{ν2−C6H5 N(P(OC6H5)2)2 }]2 depending on the reaction conditions. Reaction of 1 with [Rh(CO)2Cl]2 gives the symmetric binuclear complex, [Rh(CO)Cl{μ−C6H5N(P(OC6H5)2)2} 2, whereas the same reaction with 2 (R = CH3; X = OC6H5) leads to the formation of an asymmetric complex of the type [Rh(CO)(μ−CO)Cl{μ−CH3N(P(OC6H5)2)2}2 containing both terminal and bridging CO groups. Interestingly the reaction of 3 (R = C6H5, X = OC6H4Br−p with either [Rh(COD)Cl]2 or [Rh(CO)2Cl]2 leads only to the formation of the chlorine bridged binuclear complex, [RhCl{ν2−C6H5N(P(OC6H4Br−p)2)2}]2. The structural elucidation of the complexes was carried out by elemental analyses, IR and 31P NMR spectroscopic data.  相似文献

Rh(I) and Ir(I) complexes of the type [Rh(cod)(η2-TMPP)]1+ (1) and M(cod)(η2-TMPP-O) (M = Rh (2), Ir (3); cod = cyclooctadiene; TMPP = tris(2,4,6-trimethoxyphenyl)phosphine; TMPP-O = mono-demethylated form of TMPP) have been isolated from reactions of [M(cod)Cl]2 with M′BF4 (M′ = Ag+, K+, Na+) followed by addition of the tertiary phosphine ligand. This chemistry is dependent on the identity of the metal, as both the cationic phosphine complex and the neutral phosphino-phenoxide compound are stable for Rh(I), whereas only the latter is stable for Ir(I). The three complexes have been characterized by IR and NMR (1H and 31P) spectroscopies as well as by cyclic voltammetry. The 1H NMR spectrum of [Rh(cod)(η2-TMPP)]1+ (1) is in accord with the formula and reveals that the TMPP phenyl rings are undergoing rapid exchange between coordinated and non-coordinated modes; the corresponding spectra of 2 and 3 support free rotation about the P---C bonds of the unbound phenyl rings with no fluxionality of the bound demethylated ring. The 31P{1H} NMR spectrum of the neutral species 2 exhibits a significant upfield shift with respect to the analogous cationic compound 1. This shielding is the result of improved electron donation to the metal from a phenoxide group as compared to an ether substituent. In situ addition of CO to the reaction between TMPP and [Rh(cod)Cl]2 or [Ir(cod)Cl]2 in the presence of M′BF4 results in the isolation of the monocarbonyl species [Rh(TMPP)(η2-TMPP)(CO)][BF4] (5) and the stable dicarbonyl compound [Ir(TMPP)2(CO)2][BF4] (4), respectively. Single crystal X-ray data for . The geometry of 4 is square planar, with essentially ideal angles for the mutually trans disposed phosphine and carbonyl ligands, as found in earlier studies for the analogous Rh dicarbonyl compound. The 1H NMR spectrum of 4 supports the assignment of magnetically equivalent phosphorus nuclei in solution. The results of this study indicate that cyclooctadiene is a particularly strong ligand for monovalent late transition metals ligated by TMPP, to the extent that it is inert with respect to substitution in the absence of π-acceptor ligands such as carbon monoxide.  相似文献

The mixture of isomers of silylated cyclopentadiene derivative C5H5CH2CH2Si(OMe)3 (1) has been used for the syntheses of the mononuclear Rh(I) complexes [η5-C5H4(CH2)2Si(OMe)3]Rh(CO)2 (3). [η5-C5H4(CH2)2Si(OMe)3]Rh(COD) (4) and [η5-C5H4(CH2)2Si(OMe)3]Rh(CO)(PPh3) (5). Upon entrapment of 3–5 in silica sol-gel matrices, air stable, leach-proof and recyclable catalysts 6–8 resulted. Their catalytic activities in some hydrogenation processes were compared with those of the non-immobilized complexes 3–5, as well as with those of homogeneous and heterogenized non-silylated analogs, 9–14.  相似文献

The kinetics in heptane of displacement of the alkene ligands ethene and methyl acrylate from Ru(CO)42-alkene) by P(OEt)3 have been measured. The reactions occur by reversible dissociation of the alkenes, and activation parameters are compared with those for dissociation of CO from Ru(CO)5 and for reactions of the corresponding Os complexes. A linear free energy relationship for ligand dissociation from Ru(CO)5, Ru(CO)4(C2H4) and Ru(CO)4(MA) has a gradient close to unity, indicating virtually complete bond breaking in the transition states. Competition parameters for reactions of what is probably a solvated Ru(CO)4S intermediate have been measured for the alkenes and P(OEt)3, and for eleven other P-donor nucleophiles. Correlations with the electronic and steric properties of the P-donors show negligible dependence on the electron donicity of the nucleophiles and a small but significant dependence on their sizes. The sizes were quantified by Tolman cone angles or by ‘cone angle equivalents’ derived directly from Brown's ligand repulsion energies (Er). These correlations compared with those, reported elsewhere, for reactions of the probably solvated intermediates Co2(CO)52-C2Ph2) and H3Re3(CO)11 formed by ligand dissociative processes. In all cases the discrimination between nucleophiles by the intermediates is weak confirming their high reactivity and the borderline nature of the mechanisms of these bimolecular reactions between Id and Ia.  相似文献

The chloro complexes trans-[Pt(Me)(Cl)(PPh3)2], after treatment with AgBF4, react with 1-alkynes HC---C---R in the presence of NEt3 to afford the corresponding acetylide derivatives trans-[Pt(Me) (C---C---R) (PPh3)2] (R = p-tolyl (1), Ph (2), C(CH3)3 (3)). These complexes, with the exception of the t-butylacetylide complex, react with the chloroalcohols HO(CH2)nCl (n = 2, 3) in the presence of 1 equiv. of HBF4 to afford the alkyl(chloroalkoxy)carbene complexes trans-[Pt(Me) {C[O(CH2)nCl](CH2R) } (PPh3)2][BF4] (R = p-tolyl, N = 2 (4), N = 3 (5); R=Ph, N = 2 (6)). A similar reaction of the bis(acetylide) complex trans-[Pt(C---C---Ph)2(PMe2Ph)2] with 2 equiv. HBF4 and 3-chloro-1-propanol affords trans-[Pt(C---CPh) {C(OCH2CH2CH2Cl)(CH2Ph) } (PMe2Ph)2][BF4] (7). T alkyl(chloroalkoxy)-carbene complex trans-[Pt(Me) {C(OCH2CH2Cl)(CH2Ph) } (PPh3)2][BF4] (8) is formed by reaction of trans-[Pt(Me)(Cl)(PPh3)2], after treatment with AgBF4 in HOCH2CH2Cl, with phenylacetylene in the presence of 1 equiv. of n-BuLi. The reaction of the dimer [Pt(Cl)(μ-Cl)(PMe2Ph)]2 with p-tolylacetylene and 3-chloro-1-propanol yields cis-[PtCl2{C(OCH2CH2CH2Cl)(CH2C6H4-p-Me}(PMe2Ph)] (9). The X-ray molecular structure of (8) has been determined. It crystallizes in the orthorhombic system, space group Pna21, with a = 11.785(2), B = 29.418(4), C = 15.409(3) Å, V = 4889(1) Å3 and Z = 4. The carbene ligand is perpendicular to the Pt(II) coordination plane; the PtC(carbene) bond distance is 2.01(1) Å and the short C(carbene)-O bond distance of 1.30(1) Å suggests extensive electronic delocalization within the Pt---C(carbene)---O moietry.  相似文献

Complexes Ru(CO)2 (CH=CHR) (C6H4X-4)L2 (R=tBu, Ph, OEt; X=H, Cl, OMe; L=PMe3, PMe2Ph, P(OMe)2Ph) in which the two phosphorus ligands are mutually cis (isomer 1) react readily with ligands tBuNC, CO and P(OMe)3 to give complexes in which one of the organic ligands has migrated onto a carbonyl ligand. Vinyl migration products (5) retain the mutually cis geometry of the phosphorus ligands, and are unstable: one of the decomposition products is the ketone RCH=CHC(O)C6H4X-4. Phenyl migration products (4) are stable and have the phosphorus ligands in mutually trans positions; an X-ray crystal structure of Ru(CO) (CNtBu) {C(O)Ph} (CH=CHPh) (PMe2Ph)2 was obtained. In both cases, the incoming ligand enters trans to the newly formed acyl ligand. Vinyl migration is favoured over aryl migration by electron-donating substituents on the vinyl ligand, electron-withdrawing substituents on the aryl ligand, good σ-donor phosphorus ligands and use of tBuNC as the incoming ligand. The rate of phenyl migration in Ru(CO)2(CH=CHPh)Ph(PMe2Ph)2 is independent of tBuNC concentration: k=1.5 × 10−3 s−1 at 20°C. Isomer 3 of complexes Ru(CO)2(CH=CHR) (C6H4X-4)L2 in which the phosphorus ligands are mutually trans is much less reactive towards migration reactions. The reactivity of isomer 1 is attributed to the steric strain of two mutually cis phosphorus ligands.  相似文献

A series of zirconium(IV) complexes, [ZrX2(XDK)], where XDK is the constrained carboxylate ligand m-xylylenediamine bis(Kemp's triacid imide), were prepared and structurally characterized. The solid state structure of the mononuclear carboxylate alkyl complex [Zr(CH2Ph)2(XDK)] reveals that one benzyl group is bonded in an η2-fashion to the metal center. The reactivity of [Zr(CH2Ph)2(XDK)] displays its electrophilic character toward nucleophiles strong enough to displace the η2-benzyl group. Thus, weak sigma donor ligands such as CO, alkynes and anilines do not react, whereas strong sigma donors, such as pyridines and isocyanides, rapidly form the monoadduct [Zr(CH2Ph)2(4-tert-butylpyridine)(XDK)] and [Zr{η2-2,6-Me2PhNCCH2Ph}2(XDK)], an η2-iminoacyl derivative, respectively. Attempts to prepare zirconium amido complexes with H2XDK generally afforded the eight-coordinate [Zr(XDK)2] complex but use of the small amido ligand precursorZr(NMe2)4 allowed [Zr(NMe2)2(4-tert-butylpyridine)(XDK)] to be isolated in good yield.  相似文献

Reactions of [(PPh3)2Pt(η3-CH2CCPh)]OTf with each of PMe3, CO and Br result in the addition of these species to the metal and a change in hapticity of the η3-CH2CCPh to η1-CH2CCPh or η1-C(Ph)=C=CH2. Thus, PMe3 affords [(PMe3)3Pt(η1-C(Ph)=C=CH2)]+, CO gives both [trans-(PPh3)2Pt(CO)(η1-CH2CCPh)]+ and [trans-(PPh3)2Pt(CO)(η1-C(Ph)=C=CH2)]+, and LiBr yields cis-(PPh3)2PtBr(η1-CH2CCPh), which undergoes isomerization to trans-(PPh3)2PtBr(η1-CH2CCPh). Substitution reactions of cis- and trans-(PPh3)2PtBr(η1-CH2CCPh) each lead to tautomerization of η1-CH2CCPh to η1-C(Ph)=C=CH2, with trans-(PPh3)2PtBr(η1-CH2CCPh) affording [(PMe3)3Pt(η1-C(Ph)=C=CH2)]+ at ambient temperature and the slower reacting cis isomer giving [trans-(PPh3)(PMe3)2Pt(η1-C(Ph)=C=CH2)]+ at 54 °C . All new complexes were characterized by a combination of elemental analysis, FAB mas spectrometry and IR and NMR (1H, 13C{1H} and 31P{1H}) spectroscopy. The structure of [(PMe3)3Pt(η1-C(Ph)=C=CH2)]BPh4·0.5MeOH was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis.  相似文献

In a synthetic route that varies from the standard procedure requiring irradiation, the (η6-C6H5Cl)Cr(CO)2PPh3 complex is obtained upon reacting (η6-C6H5Cl)Cr(CO)3 with tetrakis(triphenylphosphine)palladium(0), CuI, and trimethylsilylphenylacetylene in triethylamine. The X-ray crystal structure of the yellow–orange crystals of (η6-C6H5Cl)Cr(CO)2PPh3 allows structural comparisons to related (arene)Cr(CO)2PR3 complexes.  相似文献

Nitrosylation of Os(H)3ClL2 (L = P1Pr3) affords the known Os(H)2Cl(NO)L2 (2). Soft electrophiles (Ag, Na) react with complex 2 by chloride abstraction to ultimately yield truly 16-electron dihydride Os(H)2(NO)(P1Pr3)2 (4a), characterized by variable-temperature NMR. Complex 4a reversibly binds H2, forming Os(H)2(H2)(NO)(P1Pr3) with an unusually high barrier for intramolecular hydride exchange. Under kinetic conditions, protonation of 2 with strong acids follows the selectivity for chloride abstraction. Thermodynamically, protonation at the hydride is preferred, quantitatively producing cationic OsHCl(NO)L2+, isolated and characterized by X-ray diffraction as the BAr4F− salt (7) (ArF=3,5−(CF3)2C6H3). Structures of isoelectronic OsHCl(NO)(PH3)2 and OsHCl(CO)(PH3)2 were optimized with ab initio DFT (Becke3LYP) methods and compared to show the greater unsaturation of the metal in the cationic species. Both complexes, 4a and 7, are highly electrophilic and reversibly coordinate dichloromethane in solution. The observed reactivity patterns of the synthesized unsaturated hydrides are rationalized in terms of the determining influence of the ‘push-pull’ π-stabilization of the metal center.  相似文献

Treatment of MHCl(CO)(PPh3)3 (M=Ru, Os) with (CH2=CH)SnR3 is a good general route to the coordinatively unsaturated osmium and ruthenium stannyl complexes M(SnR3)Cl(CO)(PPh3)2 (1: M=Ru, R=Me; 2: M=Ru, R = n-butyl; 3: M=Ru, R = p-tolyl; 4: M=Os, R=Me). These coordinatively unsaturated complexes readily add CO and CN-p-tolyl to form the coordinatively saturated compounds M(SnR3)Cl(CO)L(PPh3)2 (5: M=Ru, R=Me, L=CO; 6: M=;Ru, R = n-butyl, L=CO; 7: M=Ru, R = p-tolyl, L=CO; 8: M=Os, R=Me, L=CO; 9: M=Ru, R=Me, L=CN-p-tolyl; 10: M=Ru, R = n-butyl, L=CN-p-tolyl; 11: M=Os, R=Me, L=CN-p-tolyl). In addition, the chloride ligand in Ru(SnR3)Cl(CO)(PPh3)2 proves to be labile and treatment with the potentially bidentate anionic ligands, dimethyldithiocarbamate or diethyldithiocarbamate, affords the coordinatively saturated compounds Ru(SnR3)(η2-S2CNR′2)(CO)(PPh3)2 (12: R=Me, R′ = Me; 13: R=Me, R′ = Et; 14: R = n-butyl, R′ = Me; 15: R = p-tolyl, R′ = Me; 16: R = p-tolyl, R′ = Et). Chloride is also displaced by carboxylates forming the six-coordinate compounds Ru(SnR3)(η2-O2CR′)(CO)(PPh3)2 (17: R=Me, R′ = H; 18: R=Me, R′ = Me; 19: R=Me, R′ = Ph; 20: R = n-butyl, R′ = Me; 21: R = p-tolyl, R′ = Me). IR and 1H NMR spectral data for all the new compounds and 31P and 119Sn NMR spectral data for selected compounds are reported.  相似文献

Analogy with the isolable oxo cluster [Fe3(CO)93-O)]2−, which is structurally interesting and synthetically useful, prompted the present attempt to synthesize its ruthenium analog. Although the high reactivity of [Ru3(CO)93-O)]2− (I) prevented its isolation, the reaction of this species with [M(CO)3(NCCH3)]+, where M = Mn or Re, yields [PPN][MRu3(CO)1223-NC(μ-O)CH3]. The high nucleophilicity of the oxo ligand in [Ru3(CO)93-O)]2− (I) appears to be responsible for the conversion of acetonitrile to an acetamidediato ligand and for the instability of I. The crystal structure of [PPN][MnRu3(CO)1223-NC(μ-O)CH3)]] reveals a hinged butterfly array of metal atoms in which the acetamidediato ligand bridges the two wings with μ3-N bonding to an Mn and two Ru atoms, and μ-O bonding to an Ru atom.  相似文献

The reactions of the alkylsulfonated phosphines LM=Ph2P(CH2)nSO3Na/K (n=2, 3, 4) with K2PtCl4 and K2PdCl4 have been studied in homogeneous aqueous solution as a function of pH. In homogeneous acidic solution the protonated phosphines react to give cis- and trans-PtCl2(LH)2. The biphasic reaction between 1,5-cyclooctadiene platinum(II) chloride in dichloromethane and acidified aqueous LNa/K gives a higher proportion of the cis isomer. In neutral solution the initial reaction to give [PtCl(LNa/K)3]+Cl is followed by slow formation of cis-PtCl2(LNa/K)2. K2PdCl4 reacts more rapidly to give PdCl2(LNa/K)2. In homogeneous alkaline solution rapid oxidation of the phosphine occurs with only small amounts of platinum complex being observable. The biphasic reaction yields phosphine oxide in the aqueous layer and a small amount of the chelate complexes PtL2 in the organic. Representative complexes have been isolated and characterised and the mechanisms for the reactions discussed. The electrospray mass spectra of solutions of the isolated complexes have been recorded in both positive and negative ionisation modes. The positive ionisation spectra are complicated, but platinum and palladium containing ions derived from loss of chloride, H+ and HCl are observed in the negative ionisation spectra.  相似文献

Gas phase photoelectron spectroscopy (PES) is used to investigate the bonding and electronic structure in (fv) [M(CO)2]2 (fv = fulvalene, η55-C10H82−; M = Co, Rh). The results for these bimetallic complexes are also compared to those for the analogous monometallic complexes CpM(CO)2 (Cp = η5−C5H5; M = Co, Rh) which have been reported previously. The low valence ionization patterns observed for CpCo(CO)2 and (fv)[Co(CO)2]2 are very similar, indicating that there is little electronic interaction between the two metals of the dicobalt complex. The spectrum of (fv)[Rh(CO)2]2 also is very similar to the spectrum of CpRh(CO)2, except that the first metal ionizations in the bimetallic rhodium compound show a significant splitting (0.45 eV). This splitting is due to electronic interaction between the two metal centers which occurs via communication through the fulvalene π system. The differences in electronic structure are compared to the differences in electrochemical behavior of the Co and Rh fulvalene complexes.  相似文献

The 16-electron complex (CO)4W=C(NMe2)SiPh2Me (1) was photochemically prepared from (CO)5W=C- (NMe2)SiPh2Me. Reactions with selected nucleophiles, having different ligand properties, were performed to test the strength of the intramolecular agostic interaction of one of the phenyl groups, by which 1 is stabilized. The stable complexes cis-(CO)4LW=C(NMe2)SiPh2Me were formed with L=P(OMe)3, P(OEt)3 or 2,6-Me2C6H3NC. The substituted complexes had no tendency for ligand elimination. Addition of acetonitrile or pyridine to an ether solution of 1 resulted in the formation of cis-(CO)4(MeCN)W=C(NMe2)SiPh2Me or cis-(CO)4(C5H5N)- W=C(NMe2)SiPh2Me, respectively. These reactions were reversed on evaporation of the solutions. No reaction was observed with triethylamine.  相似文献
