Reaction of 5,6-dihydro-5,6-epoxy-1,10-phenanthroline (L) with Cu(ClO4)2·6H2O in methanol in 3:1 M ratio at room temperature yields light green [CuL3](ClO4)2·H2O (1). The X-ray crystal structure of the hemi acetonitrile solvate [CuL3](ClO4)2·0.5CH3CN has been determined which shows Jahn-Teller distortion in the CuN6 core present in the cation [CuL3]2+. Complex 1 gives an axial EPR spectrum in acetonitrile-toluene glass with g|| = 2.262 (A|| = 169 × 10−4 cm−1) and g = 2.069. The Cu(II/I) potential in 1 in CH2Cl2 at a glassy carbon electrode is 0.32 V versus NHE. This potential does not change with the addition of extra L in the medium implicating generation of a six-coordinate copper(I) species [CuL3]+ in solution. B3LYP/LanL2DZ calculations show that the six Cu-N bond distances in [CuL3]+ are 2.33, 2.25, 2.32, 2.25, 2.28 and 2.25 Å while the ideal Cu(I)-N bond length in a symmetric Cu(I)N6 moiety is estimated as 2.25 Å. Reaction of L with Cu(CH3CN)4ClO4 in dehydrated methanol at room temperature even in 4:1 M proportion yields [CuL2]ClO4 (2). Its 1H NMR spectrum indicates that the metal in [CuL2]+ is tetrahedral. The Cu(II/I) potential in 2 is found to be 0.68 V versus NHE in CH2Cl2 at a glassy carbon electrode. In presence of excess L, 2 yields the cyclic voltammogram of 1. From 1H NMR titration, the free energy of binding of L to [CuL2]+ to produce [CuL3]+ in CD2Cl2 at 298 K is estimated as −11.7 (±0.2) kJ mol−1.  相似文献

Two new alternating cyano-bipyrimidine-bridged copper(I) polymers of formula [Cu2(bpm)2(CN)3Na] and [Cu(bpm)(CN)2K] (bpm=bipyrimidine) have been synthesized and their structures solved by X-ray diffraction. The structure of [Cu2(bpm)2(CN)3Na] consists of trinuclear Cu-bpm-Na-bpm-Cu units interconnected through cyanide groups to afford a 2D network, whereas that of [Cu(bpm)(CN)2K] is a 3D structure formed by interconnected cyanide-bridged copper(I)-potassium 2D honeycomb-like layers. In both structures the alkali cations play a templating role which is responsible of the final 2D and 3D network constructions.  相似文献

A novel dinuclear copper(I) complex, [Cu22-SH)2(PPh3)3] (1) (PPh3 = triphenylphosphine) has been prepared by the reaction of CuCl with triphenylphosphine and mercaptopropanoic acid (MPA) mixed in the ratio of 1:1:1. In the molecular structure of 1, two copper atoms are bridged by S atoms of two monohydrogensulfido anions forming a four-membered ring. The planar Cu2S2 core is characterized by significant cuprophilic interactions (Cu-Cu distance = 2.897 ?). One copper atom in 1 is coordinated with two sulfur atoms and one phosphorus atom of PPh3 adopting a trigonal planar geometry, while the coordination environment around the other copper center is distorted tetrahedral that is completed by two sulfur atoms of SH groups and two phosphorus atoms of PPh3 molecules.  相似文献

31P{1H} NMR spectra of metal-organic [(nBu3P)mMO2CMe] (M = Cu, Ag; m = 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4) have been studied in the temperature range of 308-178 K. Exchange parameters were determined for the appropriate silver(I) complexes. Possible ligand exchange mechanisms based on dissociative and associative processes are discussed.  相似文献

The title compounds, for short Ag6(tsac)6 (1) and [Cu4(tsac)4(MeCN)2] · 2MeCN (2), were prepared by the reaction of thiosaccharin with Ag(I) or Cu(II) salts in different solvents. The new complexes were characterized by FT-IR, Raman, UV-Vis and NMR spectroscopy. Their crystal and molecular structures were determined by X-ray diffraction methods. The structures were solved from 1621 (1) and 7080 (2) reflections with I > 2σ(I) and refined to agreement R1-factors of 0.0261 (1) and 0.0456 (2). Ag6(tsac)6 molecule derives from the clustering of six Ag(tsac) moieties related to each other through the crystallographic 3-bar (S6) symmetry operations of the space group. This results in a highly regular molecular structure where the silver atoms are at the corners of an octahedral core slightly compressed along one of its three-fold axis [inter-metallic Ag?Ag contacts of 3.1723(4) and 3.1556(4) Å]. The six thiosaccharinate ligands bridge neighboring Ag atoms along the C3-axis through Ag-N bonds [d(Ag-N) = 2.285(2) Å] at one end and bifurcated Ag-S(thione)-Ag bonds [Ag-S distances of 2.4861(7) and 2.5014(8) Å] at the other end. In contrast, the 2 compound is arranged in the lattice as an irregular tetrameric copper complex [Cu4(tsac)4(MeCN)2] where the metals show different environments. Two copper ions are four-fold coordinated to three tsac ions through the N-atom of one tsac [Cu-N distances of 2.112(3) and 2.064(3) Å] and the thione sulfur atom of the other two [Cu-S distances in the range from 2.284(1) to 2.358(1) Å] and to a MeCN solvent molecule [Cu-N distances of 1.983(4) and 2.052(3) Å]. The other two copper ions are in three-fold environment, one trans-coordinated to two tsac ions [Cu-N distances of 1.912(3) and 1.920(3) Å] and to the thione S-atom of a third ligand [d(Cu-S) = 2.531(1) Å], the other one to the thione sulfur atom of three tsac ligands [Cu-S distances in the range from 2.229(1) to 2.334(1) Å]. The clustering renders the metals to short distances from each other, the shorter Cu?Cu distance being 2.6033(7) Å, as to presume the existence of weak inter-metallic interaction within the cluster.  相似文献

Copper ranks among the most important metal ions in living organism, owing to its key catalytic effect in a range of biochemical processes. Dysregulation of in vivo copper(I) metabolism is extremely toxic and would cause serious diseases in human, such as Wilson’s and Menkes. Thus, it would be highly valuable to have a proper approach to monitor the dynamics of copper(I) in vivo, as it is directly related to the onset of human copper(I)-related diseases. Under these circumstance, developing fluorescent protein based copper(I) sensors is highly demanded. However, these established sensors are mostly based on green or yellow FPs. Fluorescent copper(I) sensors with a spectra in the red range are more desirable due to lower phototoxicity, less auto-fluorescent noise and better penetration of red light. In the present work, we grafted a special red FP into three different location of a copper(I) binding protein, and generate a series of red fluorescent copper(I) sensors. Despite their limited in vivo sensitivity toward copper(I), these sensors are viable for cellular copper(I) imaging. Furthermore, these red fluorescent copper(I) sensors are a good starting point to develop superior copper(I) biosensors capable of imaging copper(I) fluctuations within a truly biologically relevant concentration, and further effort to realize this endeavor is under way.  相似文献

Two copper(I) compounds containing 1,2-phenylenediamine have been prepared and characterised by means of crystal structure determination. The compounds catena-μ-1,2-phenylenediamine(acetonitrile)chlorocopper(I) (1) and catena-μ-1,2-phenylenediamine(acetonitrile)bromocopper(I) (2) are isostructural, bridging to form polymeric chains being effected solely by the aromatic amine and not by halide. Copper(I) exhibits distorted tetrahedral coordination geometry in both complexes. The chains are interconnected to form layers through short intermolecular X?H interactions of 2.3-2.6 Å, involving amine hydrogen atoms and the terminal chloride or bromide bonded to copper(I). Neither compound is prone to decomposition by loss of the acetonitrile ligand, the reason for this being apparent from inspection of their crystal structures.  相似文献

The ligand bis(diphenylphosphino)aniline (dppan) has been shown to be a versatile ligand sporting different coordination modes and geometries as dictated by copper(I) and the counter ion. The molecular structures of its Cu(I) complexes were characterized by X-ray crystallography. The ligand was found in a chelating mode and monomeric complexes were formed when the ligand to copper ratio was 2:1 and the anion was non-coordinating. However, with thiocyanate as the counter anion, the ligand was found to adopt two different modes, with one ligand chelating and the other acting as a monodentate ligand. With CuX (X = Cl, Br), dppan formed a tetrameric complex when the ligand and metal were reacted in the ratio of 1:1. But reactions containing ligand and metal in the ratios of 1:2 or 2:1, resulted in the formation of a mixture of species in solution. Crystallization however, led to the isolation of the tetrameric complex. Variable temperature 31P{1H} NMR spectra of the isolated tetramers did not show the presence of chelated structures in solution. Tetra-alkylammonium salts were added to solutions of various complexes of dppan and studied by 31P{1H} NMR to probe the effect of anions on the stability of complexes in solution. The Cu-dppan complexes were robust and did not interconvert with other structures in solution unlike the bis(diphenylphosphino)isopropylamine complexes.  相似文献

Copper (I) salts of various anions including thiolates, diethyl dithiocarbamate, diethyl dithiophosphate, trithiocyanurate, 1-cyano-3-methylisothiourea, 2-aminothiazole, and tetrakis(1-imidazolyl)borate are conveniently synthesized by reducing copper (II) sulfate in aqueous ammonia. The addition of phosphine ligands to several of the products is demonstrated, and the crystal structure of [Cu2(MBT)2(DPPE)3] · Et2O (MBT = 2-mercaptobenzothiazolate, DPPE = 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane) is reported.  相似文献

The crystal structure of the title compound (C3H12N2)2Cu2Br6, is monoclinic, space group P21/n, with lattice constants a=8.222(2), b=11.214(2), c=10.646(2) Å, β=91.97(1)° and V=981.0(3) Å3. The structure contains anionic Cu2Br62− dimers and N-methylethylenediammonium (henceforth MEDA2+) cations. The centrosymmetric dimer units are composed of two edge-shared CuBr4 tetrahedra, with bridging Cu-Br distances 0.08 Å longer than the terminal distances. A pair of MEDA2+ cations hydrogen bond to each dimer via two of the -NH3+ hydrogen atoms and one of the -NH2+- hydrogen atoms. Additional hydrogen bonding between the cations and anions tie the structure together in a complex supramolecular network.  相似文献

The synthesis, characterization and crystal structures of three new copper complexes derived from 1,3-bis(aryl)triazenido ligands bearing either a methoxycarbonyl, methylthio or a hydroxymethyl group in the ortho position of one of the aromatic rings are reported. In addition to the coordination of the triazenido fragment, the Lewis basic groups coordinate to the copper centers to form complexes with different nuclearity: {1-[2-(methoxycarbonyl)phenyl]-3-[4-methylphenyl]}triazene and {1-[2-(methylthio)phenyl]-3-[4-methylphenyl]}triazene form stable dinuclear and tetranuclear Cu(I) complexes, respectively. Reaction of {1-[2-(hydroxymethyl)phenyl]-3-[4-methylphenyl]}triazene with either Cu(I) or Cu(II) results in a novel Cu(II) hexanuclear macrocyclic complex.  相似文献

Phosphinoquinoxalines were prepared by treatment of 2,3-dichloroquinoxaline (3) with phosphorus nucleophiles. The Arbuzov reaction of 3 with PPh(O-i-Pr)2 gave a mixture of diastereomers of 2,3-(PPh(O)(O-i-Pr))2quinoxaline (6); the crystal structure of rac-6 was determined, but attempts at reduction to yield bis(phenylphosphino)quinoxaline 7 resulted in P-C cleavage and formation of phenylphosphine. The bis(secondary phosphine) 7 could be generated from 3 and LiPHPh(BH3), but was not isolated in pure form. Copper-catalyzed coupling of PHPh2 with 3 gave 2,3-bis(diphenylphosphino)quinoxaline (4, dppQx), whose coordination chemistry was investigated, with comparison to data for the analogous 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)benzene (dppBz) complexes. Reaction of dppQx with [Cu(NCMe)4][PF6] gave [Cu(dppQx)2][PF6] (8); CuCl yielded [Cu(dppQx)Cl]2 (9). Reaction of [Cu(NCMe)4][PF6] with one equiv of DPEphos, followed by one equiv of dppQx, gave [Cu(dppQx)(DPEphos)][PF6] (10). Ligand 4 and copper complexes 8 and 9 were crystallographically characterized. The UV-Vis spectra of dppQx and its copper complexes were red-shifted from those of the dppBz analogs; in contrast to results for the dppBz complexes, those of dppQx were not luminescent in solution.  相似文献

The reaction of N,N-(2-pyridyl)(4-pyridylmethyl)amine with [Cu(MeCN)2(PPh3)2]ClO4 in the presence of THF affords a novel one-dimensional copper(I) coordination polymer {[Cu(PPh3)(N,N-(2-pyridyl)(4-pyridylmethyl)amine)](ClO4)}n (1), which crystallizes in an noncentrosymmetric space group and displays strong second-harmonic generation (SHG) response.  相似文献

The synthesis of three bis(thiosemicarbazone) compounds formed by the reaction of benzil with either thiosemicarbazide, 4-methyl-3-thiosemicarbazide or 4-phenyl-3-thiosemicarbazide are reported. The compounds were characterised by NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry and in the case of benzil bis(4-methyl-3-thiosemicarbazone) and benzil bis(4-phenyl-3-thiosemicarbazone) by X-ray crystallography. Attempts to purify benzil bis(thiosemicarbazone) and benzil bis (4-methyl-3-thiosemicarbazone) by recrystallisation resulted in the isolation of cyclised products that were characterised by X-ray crystallography. The 3 bis(thiosemicarbazone) compounds were used to synthesise both Cu(II) and Cu(I) complexes. The copper(II) complexes were formed by the reaction of the proligands with copper(II) acetate which gave neutral copper(II) complexes in which the thiosemicarbazone is doubly deprotonated, acting as a dianionic ligand. The copper(II)-benzil bis(4-phenyl-3-thiosemicarbazonato) complex was characterised by X-ray crystallography to show the copper in an essentially square planar N2S2 environment. The copper(I) complexes were synthesised by reacting the bis (thiosemicarbazone) ligands with [Cu(CH3CN)4]PF6 to give cationic complexes. The copper(I)-benzil-bis(thiosemicarbazone) complex was characterised by X-ray crystallography which revealed that the complex was a dimeric dication. Each of the benzil bis(thiosemicarbazone) ligands act as a bidentate N,S donor to each copper(I) atom, forming an overall helical structure in which each copper atom is in a strongly distorted tetrahedral N2S2 environment. Electrochemical measurements show that the copper(II)-benzil bis(thiosemicarbazonato) complex undergoes a reversible reduction at biologically accessible potentials.  相似文献

Copper(II) complex 1 with a tetradentate ligand L [L = tris(2-aminoethyl)amine, tren] has been prepared as its perchlorate salt. Single crystal X-ray structure of 1 indicates its trigonal bipyramidal shape in the solid state. The complex, in dry and degassed acetonitrile solvent, was made to react with nitric oxide gas and the copper(II) center has been observed to reduce to Cu(I) with simultaneous nitrosation followed by diazotization at the terminal primary amine positions of the ligand to result into cyclization product, 1-(2-aminoethyl)piperzine, L′ along with tris(2-aminoethyl)ammonium perchlorate, L′′-perchlorate. However, when an acetonitrile:water (10:1, v/v) mixture has been used as the solvent, the reduction of Cu(II) to Cu(I) is observed and the ligand is found to be precipitated out only as L′′-perchlorate. The reduction of Cu(II) to Cu(I) has been studied by UV-visible, 1H NMR and EPR spectroscopic techniques and by X-ray single crystal structure determination. Both the L′ and L′′-perchlorate have been isolated from the reaction mixture and characterized by using microanalytical studies, various spectroscopic techniques and X-ray single crystal structure determination.  相似文献

Gas-phase co-deposition of [Cu(O2C(3,5-CF3)2C6H3)] (1) with C20H10 at 170 °C affords crystals of the first copper(I)-corannulene adduct [Cu6(O2C(3,5-CF3)2C6H3)6](C20H10)2 (2). The X-ray crystallographic characterization of 2 reveals its main structural building blocks: a planar hexanuclear metal core supported by bridging 3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)benzoate groups and two corannulene molecules. The Cu?Cu distances within the core of 2.6826(8)-2.7607(8) Å fall within the range of cuprophilic interactions. Several intermolecular Cu?C contacts between the cyclic Cu6-unit and corannulene ranging from 2.799(5) to 3.266(5) Å can be identified. The shortest ones lying within the sum of the van der Waals radii for Cu and C (ΣrvdW (Cu, C) = 3.10 Å) are to the rim sites of corannulene. A noticeable flattening of the C20H10-bowl in 2 is also observed.  相似文献

The compounds Pt(quinap)(CN)2, and [Cu(quinap)I]2 with quinap = 1-(2-diphenylphosphino-1-naphthyl)isoquinoline were synthesized. Quinap is a bidentate ligand which contains a isoquinoline and an arylphosphine group with CT acceptor properties. Accordingly, the Pt(II) and Cu(I) quinap complexes are characterized by a phosphorescence originating from the lowest-energy MLCT triplets with some IL admixture.  相似文献

We report here on the role of copper (II) salts on the acceleration of peroxynitrite (ONOO-) decomposition and ONOO- reaction with the anaesthetic agent propofol (2,6-diisopropylphenol) in alkaline medium. We observed a strong acceleration of the ONOO- decomposition in alkaline medium in the presence of copper (I and II) salts. After 18 h of ONOO- reaction with propofol, we observed nitrosated, nitrated, and oxidized (quinone and diphenylquinone) derivatives of propofol, but in the presence of Cu(II) (20% molar vs ONOO-), the yields of quinone and nitrosopropofol strongly increased. We also observed that the temperature and the atmosphere influenced the effects of Cu(II) on ONOO- reactions with propofol: low temperatures promoted nitrosation and high temperatures promoted oxidation; O2 atmosphere increased the general reactivity and the yield of nitrated and oxidized products. We highlighted the influence of Cu(II) salts on the radical character of the reaction by direct EPR technique. The exact mechanism of the Cu(II) catalysis remains unexplained, but we suggest the formation of a copper complex with propofol or, more probably, the oxidation of ONOO- into ONOO. by copper ions promoting the formation of quinone and nitrosopropofol according to a previously reported mechanism [M. Cudic, C. Ducrocq, Transformations of 2,6-diisopropylphenol by NO-derived nitrogen oxides, particularly peroxynitrite, Nitric Oxide 4 (2000) 147-156].  相似文献

The synthesis, X-ray structures and electrochemical properties of stable five-coordinate, trigonal-bipyramidal CuI complexes of dafone (4,5-diaza-fluoren-9-one) [Cu(dafone)2X] with X=Br (1) or I (2) as ancillary ligands are discussed. The thiocyanate-bridged polymeric CuI complex of dafone, [Cu(dafone)(SCN)]n (3), forms two-dimensional sheets in the crystal, held together by weak interactions involving the dafone ketone group, while the phenanthroline complex, [Cu(phen)(SCN)]n (4), a zigzag arrangement of the phen ligands leads to interchain π-stacking within the lattice. The electrochemical studies reveal that dafone stabilizes the CuI oxidation state more efficiently than phen due to its better π-acceptor ability as indicated by more positive redox potentials for the CuI/CuII couple.  相似文献
