Regulation of the systemic and peripheral hemodynamics in the conditions of acute nitrite hypoxia (doses of NaNO2 10, 30, and 50 mg/kg of the body mass) were studied on white male rats. It was shown that NaNO2 causes a quick dose-dependent decrease in the blood pressure with an intensification of the parasympathetic tonus and development of bradycardia. The hemodynamics was restored as the oxygen capacity of the blood decreased with an increase in the sympathetic tonus and development of tachycardia. The role of intracardial metasympathetic structures and the renin-angiotensin system in cardiovascular adaptation to hypoxia was established. Adaptation to nitrite hypoxia is accomplished by a coordinated interaction of neurogenic and humoral factors. A combination of pharmacological agents, which include separate links of regulator systems of the organism, leads to failure of the adaptation process.  相似文献

Intravenous administration of 10 to 40 U/g b.w. glucose oxidase produced hypoglycaemia in a dose-dependent manner. The enzyme-induced drop of the blood sugar level was associated with significant rise in serum potassium and the concentration of free fatty acids. Intracerebral application of glucose oxidase through chronically implanted cannula into the ventromedial, lateral hypothalamus, preoptic region and amygdaloid complex of nuclei failed to change the blood sugar level, although a moderate increase of the free fatty acids and corticosterone concentrations occurred. The local application of enzyme in the locus coeruleus region led to a significant rise of the blood sugar concentration. The observations suggest the sensitivity of brainstem catecholaminergic neuronal system to hypoglycaemia.  相似文献

Sixteen yearling bulls were utilized to investigate administration of ergotamine tartrate on semen parameters, fertilization, and endocrinology. Bulls were allotted to a control diet of cracked corn, corn silage, and soybean meal (CON, n = 8) or a diet supplemented daily with 40 microg/kg body weight of ergotamine tartrate (ET, n = 8). Blood samples, average daily gain, scrotal circumference and rectal temperatures were collected every 14 day. Semen samples were obtained every 60 day and evaluated for motility and morphology. Scrotal temperatures were obtained by thermography immediately before electroejaculation. Semen from a subset of bulls from each treatment was also evaluated for in vitro fertilization. Administration of ET increased rectal temperature and resulted in lower scrotal temperatures compared to CON bulls (P < 0.05). However, prolactin, scrotal circumference, testosterone, and semen motility and morphology did not differ between groups throughout the experimental period (224 day). Cleavage rates of embryos derived from in vitro fertilization (IVF) with semen of bulls, fed with ET, were reduced compared to CON (P < 0.05); however, development of cleaved embryos to blastocyst did not differ between treatments. In conclusion, extended exposure of bulls to ET appeared to reduce fertilization potential of sperm.  相似文献

Two experiments were performed to determine whether administration of ergotamine tartrate altered embryo development (Exp. 1) and uterine competency to establish pregnancy (Exp. 2) in beef cattle. Animals were fed daily either 0 (CON) or 40 mug/kg body weight of ergotamine tartrate (ERGOT). Following a 30-d period on respective diets, animals in Exp. 1 were artificial inseminated at estrus (d = 0) and single embryo recoveries performed on day 7; whereas, animals in Exp. 2 received two frozen-thawed embryos on day 7. As an indicator of ergotamine effects, prolactin was decreased throughout both experiments in ERGOT compared to CON animals (p<0.05). Furthermore, rectal temperature (RT) tended to increase during both experiments in ERGOT compared to CON (p= 0.06). In Exp. 1, embryo recovery (p=0.08) and the percentage of transferable embryos (p=0.09) tended to be greater for CON than for ERGOT. Percentage of embryos that developed to compacted morula or greater was increased for CON compared to ERGOT heifers (p<0.05). In Exp. 2, pregnancy rates of transferred embryos did not differ between treatment groups. Thus, administration of ERGOT to simulate fescue toxicosis altered developmental potential of embryos, but does not appear to affect uterine competency to establish pregnancy.  相似文献

The investigation was intended to study the role ofbaroreceptors ofhemodynamically isolated zone of vertebral arteries in regulation of peripheral veins tonus, arterial pressure and external respiration. Pressure decrease in this vascular reflexogenic zone led to reflex responses of increase in femoral vein tonus, elevation of blood pressure level and stimulation of external respiration. The opposite reflex responses of cardio-respiratory functional system to initial pressure activation of vertebral arteries baroreceptors are observed. Basing on generalization of our own findings and similar physiological and morphological researches of other authors, it is established that afferentation from the vertebral artery zone is a reflexogenic factor of somatic muscles' veins tonus regulation. These reflexes of capacity vessels tonic activity changes are part of cardio-respiratory responses of maintaining the tissue gaseous exchange.  相似文献

The experiments on rats using the method of contact luminescent biomicroscopy coupled with the ultrasonic measurement of systemic blood pressure and blood flow velocity in the portal vein and hepatic artery have revealed that portal micro- and macrocirculation reflects the degree of efficacy of acute hemorrhage treatment with autoblood. Autoblood infusion in animals with compensatory type of posthemorrhagic period restored systemic blood pressure and blood flow velocity in the portal vein and hepatic artery, promoting the development of erythrocyte aggregation and local microcirculation disturbances in the central zone of hepatic functional elements.  相似文献

Fletcher, Eugene C., and Gang Bao. Effect of episodiceucapnic and hypocapnic hypoxia on systemic blood pressure in hypertension-prone rats. J. Appl. Physiol. 81(5):2088-2094, 1996.Repetitive episodic (18-24 s twice perminute) hypocapnic hypoxia (HH) administered chronically (7 h/day, 35 days) to Sprague-Dawley or Wistar-Kyoto rats results in a sustainedincrease in daytime blood pressure (BP). We examined acute and chronicBP response to episodic HH and eucapnic hypoxia (EH) in borderlinehypertensive rats [first generation (F1) cross between spontaneouslyhypertensive and Wistar-Kyoto rats]. We hypothesized that episodic HHand EH would create a greater increase in acute and chronic BP in thisbreed of rat than in previously studied strains. We also examinedneural mechanisms by which BP changes from hypoxia are induced. BP andheart rate were examined acutely in nine F1 rats during baseline, HH,EH, EH with prazosin, and EH with prazosin and atropine. Five groups ofmale F1 rats were studied after 35-day exposure to the following: Unhandled (n = 8): no treatment; Sham (n = 10):episodic compressed air; HH (n = 14): daily episodic hypoxia(2.7%); EH1 (n = 12): hypoxia 2.9%, CO2 8.4%;and EH2 (n = 11): hypoxia 2.8% and CO2 10.5%.Under acute conditions, HH caused a 34.2-mmHg and EH a 77.9-mmHgincrease in mean BP. Prazosin partially blocked the increase in BP.Under chronic conditions, HH caused a 10.3-mmHg increase in daytimemean BP, whereas EH caused a fall in mean BP of 16.6 and 9.3 mmHg inthe two separately studied groups. In the F1 rat, acute EH causes anelevation of BP but chronic EH causes a fall in BP. The acute responseto EH is not predictive of what occurs after chronic exposure in thehypertension-prone F-1 rat.

目的:探讨低氧暴露后大鼠外周血T淋巴细胞亚群及活化共刺激分子的变化,为干预措施的研究提供科学依据。方法:采用三色免疫荧光标记流式细胞仪分析法,观察在低氧暴露前和模拟海拔8 000 m低氧暴露8 h、3d6、d和10 d后,大鼠外周血T淋巴细胞亚群和T淋巴细胞活化共刺激分子的变化。结果:模拟海拔8 000 m低氧暴露8 h后,大鼠CD3+、CD8+、CD8+CD28-细胞数较低氧前均显著降低(P均〈0.01);低氧暴露3 d后,除上述变化外,CD4+CD28+细胞数也显著降低(P〈0.01),CD4+CD28-细胞数显著增加(P〈0.01);低氧暴露6 d和10 d后,CD3+、CD4+呈现进一步降低趋势,CD8+CD28+细胞数显著增加(P〈0.01)。结论:说明模拟海拔8 000 m低氧暴露8 h和3 d后,大鼠外周血CD8+、CD4+T淋巴细胞活化水平均显著下降,随着低氧暴露时间的延长,CD8+T淋巴细胞活化水平由降低变为增加。  相似文献

Peripheral administration of butorphanol tartrate markedly enhanced feeding from 0800 to 1400 hours when compared with vehicle controls. Butorphanol tartrate feeding was not antagonized by doses of naloxone as high as 10 mg/kg. These data support the concept that the kappa or sigma opiate receptors are involved in feeding behavior.It is well recognized that the endogenous opiates play a role in the central regulation of appetite (1, 2, 3, 4). Numerous studies have shown that The endogenous opioid peptides and morphine can initiate feeding under various conditions (5–12) whereas the opiate antagonist, naloxine can reduce food consumption (13–20). Recently, the endogenous opiod peptide, dynorphin, has been reported to enhance food intake (12–25).Much evidence has been accumulated indicating that a number of opiate receptors are present in the brain, each one having a high affinity for a specific endogenous opioid peptide (26, 27). Both the cyclazocine related compounds (28) and the feeding enhancer, dynorphin (29–32), have been reported to be specific kappa receptor agonists. In the present study, we report on the effect of the morphinan congener, butorphanol tartrate (33), on ingestive behaviour.  相似文献
