A new species, Acantholimon yildizelicum (Plumbaginaceae) is described and illustrated. The species is found in Astragalus sp. and Festuca sp. steppe in Çamlibel Mountain around Yidizeli (B6 Sivas) in North Anatolia, Turkey. Diagnostic morphological characteristics from the closely related species are discussed and conservation statuses of the species is given. A revised key to Acantholimon species with scapes lacking or inflorescence borne at level of leaves and bracts pubescent is also given for the species found in Turkey.  相似文献

A new halophytic species, Scorzonera tuzgoluensis A. Duran, B. Do?an & S. Makbul sp. nov. (Asteraceae), is described and illustrated from Tuz Lake, central Anatolia, Turkey. The new species grows in salt marshes, is endemic (confined to central Anatolia) and closely related to Scorzonera parviflora Jacq. and S. elata Boiss. The diagnostic morphological characters of these similar taxa are discussed. The ecology, biogeography and conservation status of the new species are also presented. The geographic distribution of the new species and related species is mapped.  相似文献

Allium purpureoviride M. Koyuncu & ?. Genç (sect. Melanocrommyum) is described as a new species from east Anatolia, Turkey. The new species is closely related to A. rothii Zucc. from Israel and some characters of the new taxon show similarity with A. cyrilli Ten. and A. asclepiadeum Bornm. The morphological characters of the related taxa are discussed and the distribution of the taxa is mapped. The diploid chromosome number is 2n = 16.  相似文献

A new species, Jurinea tortumensis A. Duran & B. Dogan (Asteraceae), is described and illustrated from Anatolia, Turkey. The species grows on serpentine stony places in the Tortum district (Erzurum Province) in northeast Anatolia. It is morphologically similar to J. consanguinea DC. The pollen characteristics and achene surface morphology of J. tortumensis and J. consanguinea are examined by SEM. Diagnostic morphological characters from closely similar taxa are discussed and arranged in a key. Ecology, conservation status and biogeography of the species are also presented. In addition, the geographical distributions of the new species and other related species are mapped.  相似文献

A new species, Crocus demirizianus O. Erol & L. Can is described and illustrated from northwestern Turkey. Crocus demirizianus was found in the Çanakkale province, near the district of Çan, and is undoubtedly related to the Crocus biflorus complex. However, the species differs from its relatives by typically sagittate anthers, and flowers without prominent stripes on outer segments. Diagnostic morphological characters are discussed and high resolution images are presented.  相似文献

A synopsis of Acantholimon in Turkey is given on the basis of a revisional study conducted in Turkey by the authors. An account of 52 species, ten subspecies, and 17 varieties is given, including keys to the species, subspecies, and varieties, and a general indication of their distribution, as well as their conservation status in Turkey. Seven new taxa, namely A .  ekimii sp. nov. , A. capitatum ssp. sivasicum ssp. nov. , A. calvertii var. glabrum var. nov. , A. huetii var. breviscapum var. nov. , A. acerosum ssp. longibracteolorum ssp. nov. , A. lycaonicum ssp. cappadocicum ssp. nov. , and A. halophilum var. coloratum var. nov. , are described, together with a few new combinations. A. wiedemannii , A. iconicum , and A. lycaonicum , described from Turkey in the past, but placed under other species as synonyms in the Flora of Turkey , are recognized once again as good species. A. multiflorum and A. parviflorum are given a species status. In Turkey, the presence of A. latifolium , A. araxanum , A. lepturoides , A. hohenackerii , A. senganense , A. fominii , A. petraeum , and A. tragacanthinum is also confirmed.  © 2007 The Linnean Society of London, Botanical Journal of the Linnean Society , 2007, 154 , 397–419.  相似文献

A new species, Globularia anatolica A. Duran, Ö. Çetin & M. Öztürk (Globulariaceae) is described and illustrated from southwest Turkey. The species grows on eroded gypsum slopes and in open Pinus brutia Ten. forest in the Honaz Mountain National Park (C2 Denizli province). It is closely related to G. sintenisii Hausskn. & Wettst., an endemic species confined to southwest Anatolia. Diagnostic morphological characters of Globularia anatolica are discussed and presented as a key to Turkish Globularia . It is suggested that the new species should be regarded as 'Critically Endangered' (CR) according to the IUCN criteria. In addition, the biogeography of the Honaz Mountain is briefly outlined.  相似文献
