虫瘿是造瘿昆虫诱导植物组织不正常生长产生的,它们通过释放某些酶或者植物激素刺激寄主植物细胞增大或增殖产生了特异形态的虫瘿,而这种特异形态就是造瘿昆虫遗传基因的体外表达。但虫瘿产生的分子机制不是十分清楚,文章主要对目前植物虫瘿的形态特征、形成机制等方面进行综述。  相似文献

  • 1 Preliminary investigations were carried out on Dryocosmus kuriphilus Yasumatsu on Castanea sativa Miller in Tuscany to assess variations in gall characteristics in coppice and high forest at two crown heights (height < 2 or 2–6 m), influence of bud size and bud position on oviposition rates and susceptibility of three cultivars.
  • 2 Gall size may depend on various factors, including wasp population density. In the present study area, small galls (with one or two cells) were the most numerous in 2008, whereas larger galls (with more than three cells) prevailed in 2009.
  • 3 Dryocosmus kuriphilus oviposition occurrence was influenced by both bud size and bud position. Buds with eggs tended to be larger in size compared with bud without eggs, suggesting that D. kuriphilus females prefer to lay eggs in larger buds (approximately 6 mm3) compared with smaller buds (approximately 3 mm3). The mean number of eggs per bud tended to decrease from the apical bud toward the basal bud.
  • 4 Three C. sativa cultivars, Carpinese, Fusca and Cesurone, were examined. Fusca grafts had significantly more galls compared with Carpinese and Cesurone, whereas Cesurone grafts had more larvae per bud compared with Carpinese and Fusca. Overall, the Carpinese cultivar may be less susceptible to D. kuriphilus galling compared with the Fusca and Cesurone cultivars.

【目的】本研究拟对肚倍蚜Kaburagia rhusicola瘿内种群动态与虫瘿生长发育关系进行研究,为深入研究肚倍蚜的生物学特性奠定基础。【方法】在2014年4月27日至7月16日期间,在湖北竹山田间每间隔10 d随机选择长势基本一致的青麸杨,分别采集健康肚倍蚜虫瘿,每次采集样本30个。采用排水法测量虫瘿体积,之后将虫瘿解剖,取出瘿内蚜虫,置于培养皿内,采用四分法统计数量。对虫瘿体积增长与瘿内蚜虫种群变化进行了相关性分析。【结果】虫瘿体积增长与蚜虫种群数量增长之间呈极显著正相关(r=0.960,P0.01)。虫瘿体积与蚜虫种群数量增长分别呈现3个峰,即5月6日至5月16日、5月26日至6月6日和6月26日至7月6日。肚倍蚜瘿内密度变化的主要趋势是先降后升,中间有一个小的起伏。【结论】本研究表明虫瘿大小和瘿内蚜虫种群数量有关,虫瘿体积可用于评价干母的环境适合度。  相似文献

对不同间作方式下盐肤木林的角倍蚜虫瘿数量进行研究,结果表明:(1)盐肤木纯林的单株虫瘿数、单叶虫瘿数和有虫瘿梢头率分别为14.1个、2.3个和78.4%,而盐肤木襄荷混作林的单株虫瘿数、单叶虫瘿数和有虫瘿梢头率分别为25.8个、3.2个和91.2%,分别为前者的1.8倍、1.4倍,有虫瘿梢头率增加了12.8%。(2)与盐肤木纯林相比,盐肤木襄荷混作林内的温度略低,全天平均低1.6℃,而相对湿度略高,全天平均高5.9%,高湿和较小温度变幅可能是虫瘿数量增加的主要原因。(3)当盐肤木与蔬菜混作时,单株梢头数和有虫瘿梢头数分别比纯林增加了1.4倍,增加的原因可能与蔬菜种植中的松土和施肥有关。综上所述,盐肤木与襄荷混作可以增加倍子产量,盐肤木与蔬菜混作可以增加有虫瘿梢头数量,两种混作模式均可在生产中推广应用。  相似文献

刺桐姬小蜂Quadrastichus erythrinaeKim是新发现的重要入侵害虫,在广东省深圳地区普遍发生且危害严重,受害植株超过10000株。寄主按受害程度依次为:杂色刺桐Erythrina variegata、金脉刺桐E.variegatevar.orientialis、鸡冠刺桐E.cristagalli和龙牙花E.corallodendron。移栽2年内的刺桐树受害严重。根据虫瘿形状,将其分为球形虫瘿、卷叶形虫瘿、肥厚叶虫瘿、分散虫瘿、粗柄形虫瘿、嫩枝肿大虫瘿、花蕾肿大虫瘿并对其形成过程进行分析。首次报道了刺桐姬小蜂为害鸡冠刺桐花蕾。刺桐姬小蜂在深圳无休眠和滞育现象,常年发生。  相似文献

Rodlet cells within the epithelial mucosa of the gall bladder of the estuarine killifish Fundulus heteroclitus (L.) obtained from a highly contaminated creek adjacent to a landfill, were arranged within the constraints of the epithelium. Furthermore, the rodlet cells established a close intimate association with electron dense epithelioid cells. A comparison with fish from a non impacted estuary revealed a significantly greater number of rodlet cells in the 'contaminated' group. The abundance of rodlet cells within the gall bladder of the fish exposed to contaminants further strengthens the hypothesis that these cells participate in the fish's immune system.  相似文献

Chinaberry (Melia azedarach) is a deciduous tree of moderate size, grown throughout warm countries. The plantation of M. azedarach tree improves the environmental condition of the country. During the years 1390–1391, bacterial gall symptoms were observed on chinaberry. The isolation of the causal agent bacteria was done on nutrient agar medium. Approximately 4 weeks after inoculation, galls developed on the chinaberries inoculated with different isolates. The specific primer was designed based on 16S rRNA gene and all isolates amplified 429 bp fragment. To sequence 16S rRNA gene of Shiraz isolates, the universal primer PS16Sf-FAM/PS23Sr was used to amplify 16S rRNA gene. The Iranian isolates of Pseudomonas meliae showed 99.7% similarity to P. meliae (type strain) in the Gene Bank. Based on the rep-PCR results and sequence of 16S rRNA gene, Pseudomonas syringae and Pseudomonas fluorescens were placed in the different groups.  相似文献

Crown gall tumors incited by Agrobacterium tumefaciens strain Bo542 have been reported to synthesize a tumor-specific substance identified as N-(1,3-dicarboxypropyl)-leucine (leucinopine), a compound with two centers of asymmetry. We report here evidence that leucinopine is indeed a crown gall opine, in that it is specifically catabolized by A. tumefaciens strains carrying the tumor-inducing plasmid pTi Bo542, as well as strains carrying closely related plasmids pTi AT1 and pTi AT4. We further report catabolism of leucinopine by the succinamopine-type strains A518, A519 and A532, carrying pTi EU6, pTi AT181 and pTi T10/73, respectively. Strains lacking any virulence plasmid, as well as those carrying octopine or nopaline type Ti plasmids or mannopine type Ri plasmids, did not catabolize leucinopine. On the basis of specificity of catabolism by bacteria carrying pTi Bo542, we conclude that the stereochemistry of natural leucinopine is l-threo, i.e. lglu,lleu. Such stereochemistry is novel in the opines known thus far: octopine, nopaline and succinamopine have d,l-stereochemistry: dala,larg (octopine), dglu,larg (nopaline) and dglu,lasn (succinamopine).  相似文献

  • Galls display a multiplicity of traits, including colours, which are driven by pigment accumulation. Their conspicuousness has attracted researchers' attention and several hypotheses have been raised. However, plants themselves vary intra-specifically, including in their pigment concentrations. As galls are a result of host tissue development, colours may be a by-product of the host's own traits, being more conspicuous simply because the sites where galls develop already have the predisposition to accumulate more pigment. Here, we call this the host variation hypothesis.
  • We test this hypothesis using the system of galls induced by Palaeomystella oligophaga on Macairea radula host plant. Using spectrophotometry, we calculated the Anthocyanin Reflectance Index (ARI) of gall projections, which are responsible for their characteristic colours. We tested the influence of occupant identity (galling insect or any natural enemy), gall volume, parenchyma thickness, height from the ground, ARI of leaf, ARI of gall surface and ARI of the respective stem.
  • We corroborated the host variation hypothesis since the anthocyanin content in stems and in galls' projections were positively related. Moreover, anthocyanin in galls' projections was positively related to anthocyanin in the gall surface and negatively related to gall volume and parenchyma thickness. This shows that, besides the host specificities, galls' own traits may also be responsible for pigment accumulation, influencing their colours.
  • In this study, using colour as an example, we show that although galls tend to be considered complex expressions of galling insects' stimuli, their traits may be simply influenced by previous and specific attributes of the host organs.

Summary Ovaries of the viviparous pedogenetic gall midgeHeteropeza pygmaea can be cultured in hemolymph obtained from X-ray-sterilized larvae of the same species. In this culture medium, formation of follicles is essentially the same as in vivo, and sometimes female larvae develop from these follicles. The ovaries of such larvae, in their turn, have been cultured in vitro to produce larvae. In this way, in vitro development from oogonium to larva has been maintained for several generations. When using hemolymph obtained from larvae grown under different conditions, the in vitro cultured ovaries produce a second type of egg which probably is male-determined. Ovarian development in vitro has been studied with differential interference contrast optics and time-lapse cinemicrography.   • Several studies have suggested reasons why galls have conspicuous colours, but none of the ideas have been confirmed. However, what if the vibrant colours of some galls are explained simply by the effect of light exposure? This may lead to anthocyanin accumulation, functioning as a defence mechanism against the effects of high light.
  • We studied the globoid galls induced by Cecidomyiidae (Diptera) on Qualea parviflora (Vochysiaceae), relating anthocyanin accumulation and chlorophyll fluorescence parameters to light incidence in abaxial and adaxial galls. We also tested if the anthocyanin accumulation patterns apply to another Cecidomyiidae‐induced gall morphotype (intralaminar) within the same plant.
  • Adaxial galls are exposed to higher incident light, with more anthocyanin accumulation and therefore red coloration. In galls from angled leaves, the greater the angle of the leaf, the higher the difference between anthocyanins on the sun and shade sides of galls. Photosynthetic pigment concentrations did not differ between abaxial and adaxial galls. However, we found higher (Fm′ ? F′)/Fm′ and Fv/Fm in the abaxial galls. Conversely, NPQ and Rfd were higher in adaxial galls. Finally, the pattern of anthocyanin accumulation was not found in the intralaminar gall.
  • Anthocyanin accumulation in galls functions as a photoprotective strategy, maintaining tissue vitality in regions exposed to high light conditions. However, this mechanism may vary even among galls within the same host, indicating idiosyncrasy when it comes to coloration in galls. To date, this is the first study to demonstrate quantitatively why the galls of a specific species may be coloured: the variation in light regimes creates differential anthocyanin accumulation, influencing coloration.

Crown gall tumors were initiated in a variety of plant species by infection with Agrobacterium tumefaciens strain B6 and the concomitant changes in the tissue levels of phytohormones, mainly indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) and cytokinins, were analyzed. A comparison was made of these hormones with those produced by virulent and avirulent strains of the bacterium in liquid culture and with those of bacteria-free crown gall callus cultures. Specific radioimmunoassays were employed for hormone determinations. An assay for the quantitation of femto-mol amounts of isopentenyladenosine and related cytokinins was newly developed and is described in detail. The results can be summarized as follows: Virulence in strain B 6 is associated with the ability to release trans-zeatin and increased amounts of IAA into the surrounding environment. In many, but not all plants analyzed, the development of crown gall tumors is also associated with a sharp rise in the levels of trans-zeatin-type zytokinins and IAA (e.g., Euphorbia lathyris, Catharanthus roseus). Crown gall calli growing on hormone-free media varied greatly in their cytokinin levels. In a culture of Nicotiana tabacum, both trans-zeatin and isopentenyladenine or related cytokinins were not detected. Cytokinins were extracted from two cultures of tobacco crown gall tumor tissue: an unorganized tissue and a teratoma which produced leafy shoots. On Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography, extracts of both types of tissue yielded two peaks of cytokinin activity with elution volumes similar to ribosylzeatin and zeatin. Ribosylzeatin and zeatin were detected and quantified by coupled gas chromatography — mass spectrometry selected ion monitoring (GC/MS SIM), comparable quantities being found in the two extracts. Full mass spectral evidence for the presence of ribosylzeatin in both tissues was obtained. 应用RT-PCR技术克隆了水稻瘤矮病毒(RGDV)中国广东信宜分离物(RGDV-C)的基因组S9片段,测定了全序列并进行了生物信息学分析。结果表明,RGDV-C S9片段全长共有1202bp(登录号AY556483),含有一个长的开放阅读框,这一开放阅读框编码一个由323个氨基酸残基组成的多肽,推测分子量约35.6kDa,与泰国分离物(RGDV-T)的全序列相比,它们的核苷酸长度相等,核苷酸同源性为98.1%,氨基酸同源性为98.5%。RGDV S9片段编码的Pns9蛋白在植物呼肠孤病毒属内未发现同源蛋白,其功能尚待确定。利用NCBI的BLAST查找与比较,发现Pns9与伯氏疏螺旋体(Borrelia burgdorferi)ATP依赖的Clp蛋白水解酶组分[ATP-dependent Clp prote-ase proteolytic component(clpP-1)]有21.8%的氨基酸序列同源性。  相似文献

Alfalfa tumour incited by Agrobacterium tumefaciens strain A281, carrying the tumour inducing plasmid pTi Bo542, synthesizes agropine and related mannityl opines. In addition it contains a small amount of leucinopine and large quantities of a new opine here identified as N-[(1S)-1-carboxy 2-carbamoylethyl]-(S)-glutamic acid. This new opine, L,L-succinamopine, is the Lglu epimer of the succinamopine previously isolated from tumours incited by pTi AT181 and related strains. The latter opine should now be designated D,L-succinamopine. This is the first example of the natural occurrence of epimeric opine structures.  相似文献

在云南西双版纳热带地区,一种还未被描述属和种的瘿蚊寄生于垂叶榕果内的雌花子房里,并膨大形成虫瘿,靠取食花胚组织完成发育.通过2010年定时定点的系统观察和研究瘿蚊的发生规律,结果发现:该种瘿蚊在垂叶榕上发生频率较高,抽样的18批果有17批被瘿蚊寄生,其中有13批果的寄生比率超过了60%,部分甚至达到100%.瘿蚊寄生雌花的平均比率不超过6%,平均每个榕果内有瘿蚊1~40只不等.瘿蚊寄生不仅降低了垂叶榕的种子数,还致命性地影响着传粉榕小蜂的繁殖.在对瘿蚊的羽化、交配行为及其成虫的活动规律观察中,结果显示:寄生在一个榕果里瘿蚊需要5~7d才能羽化完,其羽化高峰期出现在第2~3天;一天内羽化的高峰出现在上午8:00-10:00及晚上20:00-0:00;而羽化后瘿蚊活动高峰期出现在上午8:00-11:00.雄蚊会帮助雌蚊离开榕果并优先获得交配权,雌蚊交配后飞离繁殖自身的榕树,去寻找适合产卵的榕果繁殖后代,雄蚊不离开羽化树,而死在繁殖自身的榕树附近.这些结果为深入研究瘿蚊的防治技术提供了科学依据.  相似文献
