The vessels of the tongue were studied in 120 rabbits in 5 series of experiments methods of injection, clearing, rentgenography, silver nitrate impregnation after V. V. Kuprijanov and a histological method. The animals were rotated in a centrifuge with a 1 m radius. For hypokinesia the animals were placed in small cages. Gravitation stress mainly caused changes in the capillary-venous part of the circulatory bed (dilatation of vessels). Under conditions of hypokinesia morphological changes were most pronounced in terminal portions of the arterial part of the bed, arterioles and precapillaries. Successive exposure to both factors caused no specific changes. Preliminary training to stressess failed to prevent the appearance of considerable morphological changes in blood vessels of the tongue.  相似文献

Under study were effects of gravitation stresses, total hypokinesia and their combinations on blood vessels of the stomach. The work was carried out in 130 rabbits, 16 of them being used to study the normal structure of the gastric vascular bed. The vascular bed was injected with the Gerota's mass followed by clearing, making histological preparations and roentgenography. The investigation has revealed both quantitative and qualitative changes in the structure of the gastric blood vessels. The maximum endurable stress of the ventro-dorsal direction causes morphological shifts less pronounced than stresses of longitudinal directions. With prolonged terms of hypokinesia (1-12 weeks) morphological changes became more pronounced in all the layers of the stomach. A combination of successive gravitation stresses and hypokinesia during 4-12 weeks aggravated morphological changes which occurred after exposure to isolated above factors. The animals subjected to maximum endurable stresses before and after 4-week hypokinesia developed vascular changes more typical for the effects of gravitation. The pretraining of animals did not give a pronounced positive effect on the changes of the angioarchitectonics of all the gastric layers after a repeated stress following 4-week hypokinesia.  相似文献

The method of lymphorentgenography was used in order to study alterations in the lymph vessels of pelvic extremities of rabbits at different terms (from 1 week up to 6 months) after exposure to gravitation stresses of different directions, value and duration. After exposure to stresses of cranio-caudal direction the amount of vessels increased. They had weel pronounced sinuosity and clearly protruding valves. The diameter of the vessels was more than normal and was equal to 0,3-0,8 mm. Popliteal lymph nodes were also increased up to 12,6-6,7 mm. Within 6 months after stresses these changes retained. Stresses of caudal-cranial direction during all periods of observation (from 1 week up to 6 months) caused dilatation of vessels (0,3-0,6 mm), their sinuosity and enlargement of popliteal lymph nodes up to 10,5-6,2 mm. All these changes returned to normality within 6 months. Thus, most pronounced and resistant morphological changes of the lymphatic bed were caused by greatest endurable stresses of cranio-caudal direction.  相似文献

Thirty six rabbits underwent special training to get a state of being trained. In a centrifuge with a 1 m radius 18 animals got ventro-dorsal gravitation stress according to schedule N 1 (with limberung-up) and 18 animals according to schedule N 2 got gravitation stress without limbering-up. After training the animals had a 2, 3 and 4-week rest. Then a part of animals was killed and served as control and the others were subjected to a single exposure to stress of the same direction (10 units for 40 min). This stress was unendurable for untrained animals. By means of injection, clearing, measuring the vessels and histologically it was shown that the trained state was reached according to schedule N 2 and retained for 3 weeks. It was also confirmed by survival of animals and the state of the vessels of the sympathetic trunk. Training according to the 1st schedule resulted in cumulation.  相似文献

Changes in the eye ball retina were studied in 3 series of experiments in cleared preparations after exposure of the animal to gravitation stress of transversal direction. Prolonged single functionally endurable stress of ventro-dorsal direction (10 units/3 min) caused dilatation of the retina vessels, worse filling of peripheral parts of the circulatory bed, uneven staining of the vascular wall, constriction and dilatation along the course of the vessel. More continuous exposure to the same value of stresses (10 units up to the animal's death) resulted in a pressor effect; qualitative changes in the vessels increased. Within 1,5 hour after a 3-minute-long exposure to stress the vascular bed still remained unchanged. The diameter of vessels approached normal while the general quantity of vessels was decreased and qualitative changes were well pronounced.  相似文献

The work was performed on 40 rabbits. After injection of the blood system with Gerota's mass 120 mu horizontal sections were cleared after A. M. Malygin and stained with hematoxylin and eosin after Van Gieson. It was shown that within 1--3 weeks of staying in small cages the animals had dilated vein all areas of the brain under investigation. Within 4-12 weeks there appeared deformity, sharp sinuosity, disorders in usual orientation of vessels. Within 13-16 weeks of hypokinesia both qualitative and quantitative changes in blood vessels became more pronounced. It was also shown that readaptation for 1--3 weeks after 4--13 weeks of hypokinesia failed to repair the normal structure of blood vessels of the brain and that in all the parts under study the reactions of the circulatory bed structure to hypokinesia were of the same type.  相似文献

The experiment was carried out in 15 rabbits. Three of them were control. The stress of the pelvis--head direction was obtained in a centrifuge of 1 m radius. Six animals were rotated for 1 min., the other six--til death, which came within 3--4,5 min. of the experiment. By methods of injection, clearing and measuring it was found that in the vessels of the sympathetic trunk congestion phenomena were first and foremost under effects of stresses of the caudo-cranial direction. Their intensity is in direct dependence on the duration of stress. In the 1st series (1 min.) a considerable congestion of venous blood in the cranial sympathetic ganglion was observed in 1 case, while in the 2nd series (3--4,5 min.) very drastic congestion phenomena, with an enlarged diameter, vein deformity and so on, were constantly noted. A support is given to literature data that such "negative" stresses are less endurable for animals, death comes soon, since the phase of relative compensation under given conditions is promptly changed for the phase of decompensation.  相似文献

The pericardium microcirculatory bed of rabbits was studied under conditions of hypokinesia of different duration. The state of hypokinesia was obtained by keeping the animals in small cages. The used methods were silver nitrate impregnation after Kuprijanov and injection of the vessels with the Parisian blue. Hypokinesia caused certain anatomical changes in all links of the microcirculatory bed. Disorders in the capillary-venular link were the first to appear. The alterations found should be considered as adaptational to effects of the extreme factor--hypokinesia.  相似文献

We demonstrated previously that exercise training did not restore normal cardiac beta-adrenergic responsiveness in obese rabbits. This study tested the hypothesis that an increased training volume was required to attenuate obesity-related reductions in isolated heart responsiveness to isoproterenol. Female New Zealand White rabbits were divided into lean control, lean exercise-trained, obese control, and obese exercise-trained groups. For the exercise-trained groups, total treadmill work over 12 weeks was increased 27% when compared with lean and obese animals trained with lower total training volume. After 12 weeks, Langendorff isolated hearts were used to study developed pressure, +dP/dt(max), and -dP/dt(max) responses to isoproterenol (10(-9) - 3 x 10(-7) M). Concentration-response data were fit to a sigmoidal function using a four-parameter logistic equation. Controls were compared with animals trained under the low- and high-training volume programs using one-way analysis of variance and Tukey's post-hoc test; separate analyses were conducted for lean and obese rabbits. In both lean and obese groups trained under the high-training volume program, EC50 values for +dP/day(tmax) and -dP/dt(max) were higher compared with same-weight controls and animals trained under the low-training volume program, indicating that contractility and relaxation responsiveness to isoproterenol was reduced by the higher training volume. Therefore, these data indicate that increased training volume failed to attenuate obesity-related decrements in isolated heart responsiveness to beta-adrenergic stimulation and caused reduced sensitivity to isoproterenol in both lean and obese animals.  相似文献

The experimental investigation of the lymphatic bed of the small intestine after immunization was performed in 15 rabbits. Ten rabbits were taken as control. The rabbits were immunized by administration of kidney antigen with the complete Freund adjuvant. The animals were killed on the 7-8th days after two cycles of immunization, three injections in each cycle. The interval between the injections was three days, between the cycles - one month. Polychrome injection of arteries and veins was made. The lymphatic bed was filled with Gerota's mass. The chylus sinuses, lymph capillaries and vessels of experimental animals were found to be dilated 2-6 times as compared with normal. There appear many blind processes on the walls of lymph capillaries and vessels. Intraorganic lymphatic pathways were more dilated as compared with extraorganic. The ileum was found to be more reactive in immunization than other two parts of the small intestine.  相似文献

In 43 test animals the state of the blood bed in the retrobulbar formations and the eyeball vasular tunic has been studied under venous congestion produced by ligation of the anterior vena cava (in dogs) and both external jugular veins (in rabbits). A complex of histological, histotopographic, morphometric and variation-statistical techniques has been used. The results obtained demonstrate that disturbances in the venous outflow in the anterior vena cava system produce certain responses in all parts of the retrotubular adipose tissue, of the eyeball muscles, of the optic nerve tunics, of the vascular tunic. Certain stageness is noted in the course of venous congestion. Places of the greatest morphological changes in the eyeball vascular tunic are determined. They are zones of vorticose veins formation and the area corresponding to the posterior pole of the eyeball. The analysis of the specific areas of the intermuscular arteries and veins cross sections demonstrates that in the reaction of these vessels to the different venous outflow in the anterior vena cava system these is certain unevenness in different ofthalmic muscles.  相似文献

Rats were trained by daily swimming or running exercises with and without daily propranolol injections. Both training methods resulted in cardiac enlargement, but only swimming exercise caused hypertrophy of the brown adipose tissue. These changes were antagonized by beta blockade. The size of the adrenals reflected the stress of the treatments, but other known stress parameters, such as the size of the thymus or sexual organs dit not. Only swimming training without beta blockade sensitized the rats to the calorigenic action of noradrenaline. The cooling rate of the rats in water, when taking into account the insulative capacity of the body, was decreased in swimming-trained as well as in propranolol-treated rats but increased in running-trained rats. The latter two changes may be due to circulatory alterations, while the delayed body cooling in swimming-trained rats probably results from increased heat production capacity. Training-induced resting bradycardia and enhanced tachycardic response to isoprenaline were observable only in the animal groups trained without beta blockade. The pressor response to noradrenaline tended to be higher in the trained groups and the propranolol-treated group than in the controls and was smaller in the animal groups trained under the influence of beta blockade. On the other hand, the hypotonic response to isoprenaline was smaller in the propranolol-treated and running-trained animals. The results emphasize the importance of the sympathetic nervous system in the adaptation of an organism to physical training.  相似文献

A single bout of exercise increases production of heat shock protein 70 (HSP70), which protects cells against various stresses. In this study, we investigated whether endurance exercise training enhances liver level of HSP70 and, if so, whether HSP70 contributes to hepatic protection against stress in vivo. Mice of an exercise-training group performed 60 min of treadmill running 5 days/wk for 4 wk. The resting level of liver HSP70 was 4.5 times higher in the trained than in sedentary mice. After 4 wk of exercise training, both groups of mice were exposed to the following stresses: 1) heat stress, 2) cold stress, 3) oxidative stress, 4) ethanol stress, and 5) exercise stress by compelling the mice to run on a treadmill until exhausted. After exposure to the stresses, the liver was immediately isolated. Elevation of liver HSP70 in the trained mice was evident, whereas no elevation was found in the sedentary mice. On exposure to heat, diethyldithiocarbamate and ethanol, activities of glutanic oxalacetic transaminase in plasma, and liver caspase-3, a key enzyme of apoptotic processing, were elevated in the sedentary mice but not in the trained mice. These results suggest that exercise training enhanced the resting level of liver HSP70 and hepatic protection against various stresses, at least partly attributing to the suppression of caspase-3 activity by the increase in HSP70.  相似文献

The work was performed in 42 male rabbits which were trained for gravitation stress in a centrifuge of 2 m diameter according to two special schedules. The vascular system of the brain was injected with staining substances and studied in cleared sections. The training was established to increase the animal's resistance to stress of transversal direction and to result in adaptation of the vessels of the terminal brain to stress. Morphological changes under these conditions were not great. Of the two schedules the first one (without a preliminary "limbering" rotation) was more favourable. Four weeks after the cessation of the training cycle the animal's resistance to gravitation stress became considerably less.  相似文献

Different behavioral reactivity of rabbit groups differentiated by locomotor activity in the "open field" was revealed during exposure to emotional stimuli (rustle, loud sound, pressuring on back of the neck, vibroacoustic tactile stimulation of an ear). In passive rabbits, the active locomotor reactions were induced harder and freezing was obtained easier than in active animals. During exposure to sound stimuli, passive rabbits increased their locomotion more rarely than active animals, pressing on back of the neck produced longer freezing, a threshold of defensive ear shaking in response to a vibroacoustic stimulus in passive animals was highest. Training to mild immobilization increased the threshold of defensive responses in active rabbits and animals of the intermediate type. Changes in respiratory parameters were correlated with behavioral reactions to emotional stimuli. The duration of exhalation and respiratory cycle increased during freezing and increased during enhanced locomotion. The duration of inhalation decreased in response to emotional stimuli irrespective of a behavioral reaction. The respiratory reactions to emotional stimuli differed in rabbits of different groups. The respiratory rate more frequently changed in passive rabbits than in animals of other groups. Passive animals reacted mainly by exhalation, active rabbits and animals from the intermediate group predominantly responded by inhalation.  相似文献

Positive reinforcement training (PRT) efficiency was examined as a function of training frequency in 33 pair‐ or triple‐housed female rhesus macaques. The animals were trained three times a week, once a day or twice a day, using PRT and a clicker as a secondary reinforcer. All animals were trained on 30 sessions, with an average of 5 min per training session per animal. The behaviors, trained in succession, were Targeting (reliably touching and following a Target); Collaborating (dominant animals allowing subordinates to train while stationing); Box‐training (accepting being enclosed in a small compartment while responding to Target training) and initial Injection training. Fulfilled criteria for Targeting were obtained in 32/33 animals in a median of nine training sessions. Collaboration was obtained in 27/33 animals in a median of 15 training sessions. However, only four animals completed Box‐training during the 30 training sessions and started Injection training. When comparing training success in terms of number of training sessions, training twice a day was less efficient than the other two treatments. In terms of daily progress, our results suggest that from a management perspective, daily training is more conducive to quick training success than thrice weekly training. In 56 rabbits kept in tight cages for 4, 8, 12, 16 and 20 weeks, effect of hypokinesia on structure of hemomicrocirculatory bed of the retina has been studied. The retina is digested in tripsin and then it is exfoliated, and the vessels are stained after Shiff. Diameters of arterioles, capillaries and venules are measured, their relations to each other and number of vessels per square unit are taken into consideration. Restriction of the motor activity for 4 weeks results in narrowing of arterioles, capillaries and venules, in increasing venuloarteriolar coefficient, in decreasing number of vessels per square unit, as compared to the norm. In 8 weeks of hypokinesia the diameter of all links of the hemomicrocirculatory bed is evenly increasing, but it does not reach the normal value; the number of the vessels is keeping to decrease; the venuloarteriolar coefficient is at the same level. In 12, 16 and 20 weeks changes in the diameter and the number of the vessels are poorly pronounced, have a wavy character and diversily directed. The value of the venuloarteriolar coefficient is kept constant. As a whole, the data obtained demonstrate that at a long hypokinesia the animals adapt to the new conditions of existence, and the state of the reticular hemomicrocirculatory bed stabilizes.  相似文献

Under study was the influence of a single 3-minute-long exposure to ultrasound of high intensity (2 wt/cm2) upon intraorganic vessels of the liver in albino rats. The circulatory bed was examined 10 min., 5, 15 and 30 days after treatment with ultrasound. Methods ox injection, rentgenography, claering and histology revealed an unfavourable effect of ultrasound causing local construction of arteries and veins in early terms, uneven filling of the capillary bed with the injected mass, dilatation and deformity of capillaries. The above changes grew more pronounced during 15 days, by the end of the month they diminished but not disappeared.  相似文献

Several circulatory variables were determined in control and swim-trained white rats under urethan anesthesia. Trained animals exhibited significantly lower heart rate and cardiac index and significantly higher peripheral resistance than control animals. Blood pressure, systolic index and left ventricular work output were not statistically different in the two groups. These results suggest an alteration of resting cardiovascular regulation in trained animals. Beta adrenergic mechanisms are suppressed by increased parasympathetic tone, and the resting circulatory balance is maintained mainly by increased alfa adrenergic mechanisms.  相似文献
