Resupinate basidiomycetes from Costa Rica. Myxariaceae s. Jülich, Sebacinaceae Wells & Oberw., and Tremellodendropsidaceae Jülich

Thirteen representatives of Myxariaceae sensu Jülich: Heterochaetella brachyspora (Bourdot & Galzin) Luck-Allen, Myxarium atratum (Peck) Ginns & Lefebvre, M. granulum Hauersl., M. laccatum (Bourdot & Galzin) Reid, M. mesomorphum (Bourdot & Galzin) Haursl., M. mesonucleatum Kisim., Oberw. & L.D. Gómez nov. sp., M. subsphaerosporum Kisim., Oberw. & L.D. Gómez nov. sp., Protodontia subgelatinosa (Karst.) Pilát; Pseudohydum gelatinosum (Fr.) P. Karst., P. gelatinosum var. paucidentata Lowy; one species of Sebacinaceae, Efibulobasidium albescens (Sacc. & Malbr.) K. Wells; and the Tremellodrendropisidaceae Tremellodendropsis flagelliformis (Berk.) Crawford var.ovalispora Crawford, are reported or described from Costa Rica. The corticioid Cystidiodontia artocreas (Berk & Curt. ex Cooke) Hjortstam is also reported from Costa Rica.     

New species, newly used names and new ranges of tree ferns (Filicales: Cyatheaceae) in the Neotropics

Two new species are described for the Neotropics, four species are newly accepted, and four species and one variety are reported. The new species are: Cyathea grayumii A. Rojas and C. panamensis A. Rojas. Cyathea alfonsiana L. D. Gómez, C. holdridgeana Nisman & L. D. Gómez, C. onusta H. Christ and C. squarrosa (Rosenst.) Domin are recognized; Cnemidaria coclena Stolze, Cyathea andina (H. Karst.) Domin, C. caracasana var. meridensis (H. Karst.) R. M. Tryon, C. macrosora (Baker) Domin and C. pseudonanna (L. D. Gómez) Lellinger are reported from Costa Rica and Panama.     

A new species of Tardigrada (Eutardigrada: Milnesiidae): Milnesium krzysztofi from Costa Rica (Central America)

Abstract

A new eutardigrade species Milnesium krzysztofi sp. nov. is described from Costa Rica. M. krzysztofi sp. nov. differs from the most similar Milnesium katarzynae Kaczmarek et al., 2004 mainly by the presence of spurs on internal claws I–III and on external claw IV.     

Rhaponticoidesaytachii sp. nov. (Asteraceae) from south Anatolia,Turkey

A new species of Rhaponticoides Vaill., Rhaponticoidesaytachii Y. Ba?c?, Do?u & Dinç sp. nov. collected by the authors from south Anatolia, is described and illustrated. The new species is restricted to deprived Quercus forest openness around Dumlugöze‐Sar?veliler (C4 Karaman). Diagnostic morphological characters from R. amplifolia (Boiss. & Heldr.) M.V. Agab. & Greuter are discussed. The ecology, biogeography and conservation status of the new species is also presented.     

New mesozoic diving beetles (Coleoptera,Dytiscidae) from China

A new subfamily of predaceous diving beetles, Liadytiscinae subfam. nov., including two genera and four species, Liadytiscus gen. nov. (L. cretaceus sp. nov., L. longitibialis sp. nov., and L. latus sp. nov.) and Liadroporus gen. nov. (L. elegans sp. nov.), from the Late Tithonian-Berriasian (Huangbanjigou, Yixian Formation) of China is described. Two new genera, Mesoderus gen. nov. with two species, M. magnus sp. nov. and M. ventralis sp. nov., and Sinoporus gen. nov. with one species, S. lineatus sp. nov., are also described; their position in the system of Dytiscidae remains uncertain. Relationships of the taxa described with Recent and fossil taxa of the same rank and some presumable ecological features of the new taxa are discussed.     

泽兰叶上的三种真菌

本文报道采自北京、安徽和云南泽兰属(Eupatorium spp.)叶上的三种真菌,其中有一个新种:泽兰齿梗孢(Scolecobasidium eupatorii Guo,sp.nov.)和一个新组合:藿香蓟假尾孢[Pseudocercospora ageratoides(Ell.& Ev.)Guo,comb.nov.]。新种与Sco-lecobasidium anelii和S.arenarium之区别在于S.anelii分生孢子梗短(35.0μm),分生孢子有纵隔膜,常在隔膜处缢缩;S.arenarium分生孢子的隔膜色泽深,在孢子的一端或两端具黑点。研究的标本收藏在中国科学院微生物研究所真菌标本室(HMAS)。     

Pararalichus gen.n. (Acarina, Pterolichidae) from New World parrots (Aves, Psittacidae)

Pararalichus gen.n. (Pterolichidae, Pterolichinae) is described; two species groups, from species of Brotogeris Vigors and Touit Gray, respectively, include two named and ten new species. From Brotogeris : the type species Pararalichus dilatatus (Favette & Trouessart) stat.n., comb.n. [= Protolichus ( Mesolichus ) hemiphyllus dilatatus ] from Brotogeris jugularis (Müller), Brazil, Guatemala, Panama; P. chrysopteri sp.n. from B. chrysopterus (L.). All hosts are Central and South American parrots. Mesolichus Trouessart, 1899 is recognized as a monotypical genus.     

银耳科的三个新种

本文报道了银耳目银耳科的3个新种——黑褐德克耳(Ductifera nigro-brunnea Peng)、黑蜡壳菌(Sebacina fuscata Peng)和长担银耳(Tremella longibasidia Peng)。其形态特征,黑褐德克耳与钙德克耳(Ductifera calcarea Lowy)接近,但前者担子常具柄状基部,担孢子为卵形可与之区别;黑蜡壳菌与蜡壳菌[Sebacina incrustans(Pers.ex Fr.)Tul.]接近,但黑蜡壳菌担子果为黑色膜状,担子有短柄状基部;长担银耳与波纳银耳。(Tremella boraborensis Olive)接近,但前者担子果为黑色,菌丝无小鳞茎状结构,下担子头部决无横分隔者。对这三个新种进行了汉文和拉丁文描述。     

牛舌菌科一新种和齿菌科一新变种

本文报道了牛舌菌科(Fistulinaceae)的一个新种:中国假牛舌菌 Pseudofistulina sine-nsis G.Y.Zheng et Bi sp.nov.,和齿菌科(Hydnaceae)一新变种:大孢橙亚齿菌 Hydnellumaurantiacum(Alb.＆ Schw.)Karst.var.macrosporus G.Y.Zheng et Bi var.nov.。以及三个国内新纪录种:月桔韧革菌 Stereum murrayi(Berk.＆ Curt.)Burr.;毛栓齿菌 Phellodontomentosus(L.)Banker;白丝薄皮菌 Ischnoderma albotextus(Lloyd)Reid。     

Brumptomyia angelae, a new species of Phlebotominae (Diptera, Psychodidae) of the Atlantic forest of the state of Paraná, Brazil

The male of Brumptomyia angelae, sp. nov., a new species of Phlebotominae (Diptera, Psychodidae) of the Atlantic forest of the state of Paraná, Brazil, is described and illustrated. This new taxon is closely related to Brumptomyia ortizi Martins, Silva & Falc?o 1971, Brumptomyia nitzulescui (Costa Lima, 1932), and Brumptomyia troglodytes (Lutz, 1922). The male genitalia of these three latter species have also been drawn.     

中国太宇谷蛾属分类研究(鳞翅目,谷蛾科)(英文)

记述中国太宇谷蛾属Gerontha Walker10种,其中有4新种:拟华太宇谷蛾G.similihoenei sp.nov.,喙太宇谷蛾G.rostriformis sp.nov.,梯缘太宇谷蛾G.trapezia sp.nov.,褶太宇谷蛾G.rugulosa sp.nov.和3新纪录种:暹罗太宇谷蛾G.siamensis Moriuti,1989(图7,17～18)、清迈太宇谷蛾G.nawapuriensis Moriuti,1989(图8,19)、钻太宇谷蛾G.borea Moriuti,1977(图9,20).首次发现和报道了弯茎太宇谷蛾Gerontha flexura Huang et al .(图6,15-16)和暹罗太宇谷蛾G.siamensis Moriuti的雌性个体.文中给出了所有中国种的检索表.研究标本保存于南开大学生命科学学院昆虫标本室.     

Taxonomic revision and molecular phylogeny of the fig wasp genus AnidarnesBouček, 1993 (Hymenoptera: Sycophaginae)

Besides the pollinators (Agaonidae), several chalcidoid lineages of nonpollinating fig wasps are strictly dependent on Ficus (Moraceae) for reproduction. Overall, nonpollinating fig wasps have not received much consideration. Reliable phylogenetic and taxonomic frameworks are lacking for most groups, which hampers progress in our understanding of the evolution and functioning of fig wasp communities. Here we focus on Anidarnes Bou?ek (Sycophaginae), a member of the Neotropical fig wasp community. We present a detailed morphological analysis as well as the first molecular phylogeny of the genus inferred from two nuclear and two mitochondrial genes (Cytb, COI, EF‐1α and 28S rRNA, 3937 bp). Twelve species are recognised, illustrated and a key to their identification is provided. Of those, only three were previously described and are redescribed here: A. bicolor (Ashmead); A. globiceps (Mayr) and A. brevicauda Bou?ek. In addition, nine new species are described: Anidarnes brevior sp.n . Farache & Rasplus (Costa Rica); A. dissidens sp.n. Farache & Rasplus (Brazil); A. gracilis sp.n. Farache & Rasplus (Costa Rica); A. isophlebiae sp.n. Farache & Rasplus (Costa Rica); A. jimeneziae sp.n. Farache & Rasplus (Costa Rica); A. longiscutellum sp.n. Farache & Rasplus (Brazil); A. martinae sp.n. Farache & Rasplus (U.S.A., Florida); A. nigrus sp.n. Farache & Rasplus (Colombia) and A. rugosus sp.n. Farache & Rasplus (Brazil). Finally, phylogenetic relationships inferred using parsimony, bayesian and maximum likelihood methods are discussed in the light of our morphological observations and the host fig tree taxonomy.

中国韧革菌(Ⅲ)

ADDITIONS AND CORRECTIONS TO THE FOLIICOLOUS LICHEN FLORA OF COSTA RICA. THE FAMILY ARTHONIACEAE,WITH NOTES ON THE GENUSSTIRTONIA

The taxonomy of the foliicolous members of Arthoniaceae (Arthonia, Arthothelium, Cryptothecia, Ermothecella) in Costa Rica is revised.Cryptothecia farkasiaesp. nov. is described, being closely related toStirtonia sprucei, and bearing pycnidia reminiscent ofEremothecella. Arthonia lividofuscais placed in synonymy withA. aciniformis. Pycnidia and pycnospores are further described forArthonia leptosperma, A. cyanea, A. palmulacea, A. trilocularis, Arthothelium cingulatum, Stirtonia spruceiandS. macrocephala, and campylidia were found on thalli ofArthonia aciniformis. Arthonia nigratulaandCryptothecia candidaare reported for the first time from Costa Rica, and new localities are given for previously reported species. Ecological data are provided, and the relationships between foliicolous members of the Arthoniaceae are discussed.     

Six new species and two new records of (Pteridophyta) from Costa Rica

Six new species of Pteridophyta from Costa Rica are described: Dryopteris flaccisquama A. Rojas, Hypolepis lellingeri A. Rojas, H. moraniana A. Rojas, Melpomene alan-smithii A. Rojas, Selaginella osa?nsis A. Rojas and Terpsichore esquiveliana A. Rojas. Blechnum stoloniferum (Mett. ex E. Fourn.) C. Chr. and Trichomanes micayense Hieron. are new records for the country. Only D. flaccisquama and M. alan-smithii are present outside Costa Rica.     

Mesozoic leaf beetles of the tribe Mesolpinini trib. nov. (Coleoptera,Chrysomelidae) from the Lower Cretaceous

This publication is based on recent studies of Lower Cretaceous leaf beetles from the Yixian Formation (Liaoning, China), which are represented by five new species of one new genus Mesolpinus gen. nov. (M. antenattus sp. nov. [type species], M. adapertilis sp. nov., M. angusticollis sp. nov., M. basicollis sp. nov., and M. trapezicollis sp. nov.) assigned to a new tribe, Mesolpinini trib. nov. of the subfamily Chrysomelinae. This tribe, which includes only species from the Jehol biota, is the oldest known group of the family in the fossil record. A key to species of the genus Mesolpinus gen. nov. is provided and the position of the new tribe is discussed. A brief overview of the Mesozoic data on the subfamily Chrysomeloidea is given.     

Minuartia aksoyi sp. nov. and M. buschiana subsp. artvinica subsp. nov. (Caryophyllaceae) from Turkey

Two new taxa of Minuartia L. (Caryophyllaceae) from Turkey, Minuartia aksoyi M. Koç & Hamzao?lu sp. nov. and Minuartia buschiana Schischk. subsp. artvinica M. Koç & Hamzao?lu subsp. nov. are described and illustrated. Their taxonomic positions are discussed and they are compared with allied taxa. The distributions of the new and closely related taxa are given. Seed structures were examined by SEM.
