It was found that when Rhodotorula rubra IFO 0911 was grown in a phenylalanine medium, benzoic acid and p-hydroxybenzoic acid besides cinnamic acid were formed in the cultured both. The conversions of cinnamic acid into benzoic acid and of benzoic acid into p-hydroxybenzoic acid, and the degradation of p-hydroxybenzoic acid were demonstrated in intact cells of Rhodotorula rubra. These activities were observed in the cells grown on various media, including the medium containing no phenylalanine, and were found to be distributed widely in Rhodotorula. The cells of Rhodotorula rubra were also able to degrade p-coumaric acid, 3,4-dihydroxybenzoic acid (protocatechuic acid), p-hydroxyphenyl-acetic acid, 3-methoxy-4-hydroxycinnamic acid (ferulic acid) and 3-methoxy-4-hydroxybenzoic acid (vanillic acid). From these results, the metabolic pathways for phenylalanine and tyrosine in Rhodotorula were discussed.  相似文献

The fatty acid components of awamori during aging were as follows. The total amount of volatile acids calculated as acetic acid ranged from 20 to 140 mg/l, the main acid was acetic acid, and the proportion of acetic acid to total acids ranged from 35 to 80 per cent. The main acids other than acetic acid were propionic acid and i-butyic acid. Differences were observed in fatty acid constituents between awamori and other alcoholic beverages.Certain components tended to increase during maturation in kame (porous earth-enware pots): acetic acid, i-butyric acid, i-valeric acid, valeric acid, capric acid, lauric acid, myristic acid and total fatty acids. Others, however, showed no distinct changes: propionic acid, butyric acid, caproic acid, caprylic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid and linoleic acid.During maturation in non-porous containers (stainless-steel or glass-linked tanks), on the other hand, caprylic acid, capric acid, lauric acid and myristic acid components tended to increase, while no distinct changes however were shown by acetic acid, propionic acid, i-butyric, butyric acid, i-valeric acid, valeric acid, caproic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid, linoleic acid and total fatty acids.  相似文献

The metabolite production of lactic acid bacteria (LAB) on silage was investigated. The aim was to compare the production of antifungal metabolites in silage with the production in liquid cultures previously studied in our laboratory. The following metabolites were found to be present at elevated concentrations in silos inoculated with LAB strains: 3-hydroxydecanoic acid, 2-hydroxy-4-methylpentanoic acid, benzoic acid, catechol, hydrocinnamic acid, salicylic acid, 3-phenyllactic acid, 4-hydroxybenzoic acid, (trans, trans)-3,4-dihydroxycyclohexane-1-carboxylic acid, p-hydrocoumaric acid, vanillic acid, azelaic acid, hydroferulic acid, p-coumaric acid, hydrocaffeic acid, ferulic acid, and caffeic acid. Among these metabolites, the antifungal compounds 3-phenyllactic acid and 3-hydroxydecanoic acid were previously isolated in our laboratory from liquid cultures of the same LAB strains by bioassay-guided fractionation. It was concluded that other metabolites, e.g., p-hydrocoumaric acid, hydroferulic acid, and p-coumaric acid, were released from the grass by the added LAB strains. The antifungal activities of the identified metabolites in 100 mM lactic acid were investigated. The MICs against Pichia anomala, Penicillium roqueforti, and Aspergillus fumigatus were determined, and 3-hydroxydecanoic acid showed the lowest MIC (0.1 mg ml−1 for two of the three test organisms).  相似文献

该文研究了不同浓度的阿魏酸、对香豆酸、丁香酸、对羟基苯甲酸、香草酸5种酚酸类物质对三七幼苗生长和生理的影响。结果表明:处理后,三七幼苗的苗高、根长、可溶性蛋白质含量、根系活力、CAT以及POD活性均有所降低。其中,阿魏酸各处理组幼苗的苗高及POD活性均显著降低,50、100 mg·L~(-1)的对香豆酸以及100 mg·L~(-1)的香草酸处理组幼苗苗高也分别比对照显著降低16.19%、16.67%和29.29%;对香豆酸、丁香酸以及对羟基苯甲酸各处理组幼苗根长均显著低于对照;香草酸处理组幼苗的根系活力也显著低于对照,且幼苗的CAT活性在10、50、100 mg·L~(-1)丁香酸、对羟基苯甲酸以及香草酸处理下也达到了显著降低水平。此外,1 mg·L~(-1)阿魏酸以及100 mg·L~(-1)香草酸处理组幼苗的叶绿素含量也均显著降低;中高浓度的阿魏酸、对香豆酸、丁香酸、对羟基苯甲酸增加了三七幼苗的MDA含量,而香草酸在0.1、1、10、100 mg·L~(-1)浓度下显著降低幼苗的MDA含量;丁香酸、香草酸、对羟基苯甲酸以及中高浓度的对香豆酸增加了三七幼苗的SOD活性,且香草酸各处理组均达到了显著性水平。综上结果表明,5种酚酸类物质对三七幼苗均具有一定的化感抑制作用,但各酚酸物质的作用方式及强度并不完全一致,阿魏酸的化感影响较大,这为进一步研究三七的化感自毒作用提供了一定的理论参考。  相似文献

A mutant strain of the fungus Verticillium lecanii and selected bioregulators of Heterodera glycines were evaluated for their potential to reduce population densities of the nematode on soybean under greenhouse conditions. The bioregulators tested were the H. glycines sex pheromone vanillic acid and the pheromone analogs syringic acid, isovanillic acid, ferulic acid, 4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzonitrile, and methyl vanillate. A V. lecanii-vanillic acid combination and a V. lecanii-syringic acid combination were also applied as treatments. Syringic acid, 4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzonitrile, V. lecanii, V. lecanii-vanillic acid, and V. lecanii-syringic acid significantly reduced nematode population densities in the greenhouse tests. Results with vanillic acid, isovanillic acid, and ferulic acid treatments were variable. Methyl vanillate did not significantly reduce cyst nematode population densities in the greenhouse tests.  相似文献

The effects of inclusion of different fatty acids in the medium on the rate of esterification of palmitic acid and its stereospecific distribution among the three positions of the triacyl-sn-glycerols by preparations of rat adipocytes in vitro have been determined. Myristic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid and linoleic acid were used as diluents and the concentration of the combined unesterified fatty acids in the medium was held constant; only the proportion of palmitic acid was varied. The amount of palmitic acid esterified was always linearly related to its relative concentration in the medium and was not significantly affected by the nature of the diluent fatty acid chosen. Constant relative proportions were recovered in triacylglycerols and in intermediates in each instance. The amount of palmitic acid esterified to each of the positions of the triacyl-sn-glycerols was linearly dependent on the relative proportion in the medium but the nature of the relationship was markedly influenced by which fatty acid was present. When stearic acid was present, simple relationships were found over the whole range tested. When either myristic acid, oleic acid or linoleic acid was present, abrupt changes in the manner of esterification of palmitic acid were observed in position sn-1 when the relative concentrations of palmitic acid and the diluent reached critical values, which differed with each fatty acid. In position sn-2 when oleic acid or linoleic acid was present, a similar change was observed, and in position sn-3 it was obtained with myristic acid as diluent. The results are discussed in terms of changes in the relative affinities of the acyltransferases for palmitic acid. Palmitic acid was esterified into various molecular species in proportions that indicated acylation with non-correlative specificity at higher relative concentrations but not at lower.  相似文献

The acid composition and the rubber content of the latices of 20 Hoya species were determined. All acids isolated from the latices were esterified with triterpenols and particle-bound. Cinnamic acid was the main acid in most latices. Acetic acid occurred in all latices, and predominated in three of the investigated species. Isovaleric acid and benzoic acid were present in some species; in one latex (H. bella) isovaleric acid was the predominant acid. Almost all species contained small amounts of phenylpropionic acid, and in two species this acid was a major compound. Longchain fatty acids were present as minor compounds. Rubber occurred in all particle-containing latices; its contribution to the total lipid fraction ranged from 1.7–24.0%. The acid profiles proved to be species-specific in Hoya and may be useful in species identification. Patterns of latex particle synthesis are proposed.  相似文献

Carboxylic acids found in the cultured broth of Sporobolomyces odorus AHU 3246 which produces γ-lactones as principles of the aromatic flavor, were analyzed. The concentrate of methylated acids was steam-distilled and in the residue, succinic acid, nonanedioic acid (azelaic acid), undecanedioic acid and 2-hydroxy-3-phenylpropionic acid (β-phenyllactic acid) were identified as their methyl esters by GLC and spectroscopic methods. Phthalic acid and its mono-n-butyl ester were also found, but these compounds were thought to arise from di-n-butyl phthalate, one of impurities of deionized water.  相似文献

The effects of gibberellic acid on the longevity and elongation of variously aged, debladed petioles of Coleus blumei were studied, with particular reference to the hypotheses 1) that auxin increases longevity by increasing growth, and 2) that gibberellic acid acts by increasing the endogenous levels of auxin.

Gibberellic acid, substituted for the leaf blades, significantly decreased longevity of younger petioles, as measured by days or hours to abscission. Gibberellic acid also decreased the longevity resulting from 0.1% indoleacetic acid. This is the opposite of the effect expected if it is increasing auxin levels in the petiole.

In its effect on elongation of younger petioles, however, gibberellic acid did act in the direction expected if it were increasing effective levels of auxin in the petiole. The elongation rate from 0.1% gibberellic acid plus 0.1% indoleacetic acid in lanolin was as large or larger than that for 1.0% indoleacetic acid.

Petioles which were 10 or more weeks old (i.e., at positions 5+ below the apical bud were not affected by 0.1% gibberellic acid in either longevity or rate of elongation, with or without 0.1% indoleacetic acid. Since 1.0% indoleacetic acid increases both longevity and elongation rate of these petioles over 0.1% indoleacetic acid, gibberellic acid is clearly not acting on older petioles as if it were increasing effective auxin levels).

Qualitative and quantitative profiles of phospholipids, neutral lipids, and fatty acid composition in Cr. neoformans during the growth phase were investigated in relation to pyrophosphatidic acid. A marked increase of the total lipid content, which depended on the accumulation of triglyceride in yeast cells with the growth, was observed. The total phospholipid contents in yeast cells remained almostly constant during the exponential phase and slightly decreased in the stationary phase. The major phospholipids of this yeast were phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylethanolamine, phosphatidylinositol, phosphatidylserine, and cardiolipin, the next groups being pyrophosphatidic acid, phosphatidic acid, lysophos-phatidylcholine, and unidentified components. The amounts of phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylinositol, and cardiolipin were fairly constant throughout the growth phase, but the amount of phosphatidylethanolamine increased and that of phosphatidylserine decreased with progressive growth. The pyrophosphatidic acid contents were 0.9~0.7% for total phospholipid during the growth phase. The major fatty acids of pyrophosphatidic acid were C16:0, C18:1, and C18:2 acids. The changing patterns of fatty acid composition in pyrophosphatidic acid through the growth phase closely resembled that of phosphatidic acid, which contained larger amounts of C18:1 acid (35~45%) than C16:0 acid (30~25%) and C18:2 acid (30~25%). Phosphatidylserine and phosphatidylinositol contained considerable amounts of saturated fatty acid (C16:0 acid, more than 55%). On the other hand, phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylethanolamine, and cardiolipin contained extremely large amounts of unsaturated fatty acid (C18:1 and C18:2 acid, 85ç90%).  相似文献

Metabolism of isonicotinic acid and isoniazid bySarcina sp. led to the formation of two metabolites which were characterised as 2-hydroxyisonicotinic acid and citrazinic acid. The blue pigment formed during fermentation was shown to be derived from the auto-oxidation of citrazinic acid. 2-Oxo-glutarate accumulated as the major keto acid when isonicotinic acid or isonicotinic acid hydrazide metabolism was inhibited by 1 mM sodium arsenite. Isonicotinic acid, 2-hydroxy-isonicotinic acid and 2-oxo-glutarate were oxidised by isonicotinic acid hydrazide or isonicotinic acid-grown cells; citrazinic acid was, however, not oxidised. Isoniazid hydrazine hydrolase, isonicotinic acid and 2-hydroxyisonicotinic acid hydroxylases were detected in the cell-free extract ofSarcina sp. grown on isonicotinic acid hydrazide or isonicotinic acid. 1. The effects in the cow of intraruminal infusions of acetic acid, propionic acid or butyric acid on the secretion of the component fatty acids of the milk fat, and of these acids and of lactic acid on the composition of the blood plasma of the jugular vein, have been studied. 2. The infusion of acetic acid or butyric acid increased the yield of the C4–C16 acids of milk fat but decreased the yield of C18 acids. The infusion of propionic acid decreased the yields of all major component acids except palmitic acid and possibly lauric acid. 3. The changes in the concentrations in blood plasma of glucose and of ketone bodies were consistent with the glucogenic effect of propionic acid and the ketogenic effects of butyric acid and acetic acid. The effects of lactic acid were not consistent from cow to cow. Only with the infusion of acetic acid was a significant increase in the concentration of total volatile fatty acids in blood plasma found. Infusions of butyric acid and of propionic acid tended to depress the concentration of citric acid in the blood plasma and infusion of acetic acid increased it. No consistent effects of the infused acids on the concentration in blood plasma of esterified cholesterol, free cholesterol, triglyceride or phospholipid were observed. 4. The possibility is discussed that the effects of the infused acids on milk-fat secretion are caused through an alteration of the concentrations of precursors of milk fat in mammary arterial blood.  相似文献

The toxicity of four volatile fatty acids (VFAs) as anaerobic digestion (AD) intermediates was investigated at pH 7. Photobacterium phosphoreum T3 was used as an indicator organism. Binary, ternary and mixtures of AD intermediates were designated by letters A (acetic acid + propionic acid), B (acetic acid + butyric acid), C (acetic acid + ethanol), D (propionic acid + butyric acid), E (propionic acid + ethanol), F (butyric acid + ethanol), G (acetic acid + propionic acid + butyric acid), H (acetic acid + propionic acid + ethanol), I (acetic acid + butyric acid+ ethanol), J (propionic acid + butyric acid + ethanol) and K (acetic acid + propionic acid + butyric acid + ethanol) to assess the toxicity through equitoxic mixing ratio method. The IC50 values of acetic acid, propionic acid, butyric acid and ethanol were 9.812, 7.76, 6.717 and 17.33 g/L respectively, displaying toxicity order of: butyric acid > propionic acid > acetic acid > ethanol being additive in nature. The toxic effects of four VFAs could be designated as synergistic and one additive in nature.  相似文献

A bacterial strain, which was isolated from soil, and identified as Citrobacter sp., showed an inducible gallic acid decarboxylase activity producing pyrogallol from gallic acid. The strain also decarboxylated protocatechuic acid, pyrocatechuic acid, 3,5-dihydroxybenzoic acid and m-hydroxybenzoic acid as well. The pyrogallol and pyrocatechol produced were isolated from the cultured broths to which gallic acid and protocatechuic acid were added, respectively.  相似文献

The comparative toxicity of lactic acid, acetic acid, and benzoic acid to tilapia (Oreochromis mossambicus), cladoceran crustacea (Moina micrura), and oligochaete worm (Branchiura sowerbyi) were determined using static bioassay tests. Worms were found most sensitive to all the acids whereas the cladoceran was found most resistant to lactic acid and the fish most resistant to acetic acid and benzoic acid. The 96h LC50 values of lactic acid, acetic acid, and benzoic acid, were, respectively, 257.73, 272.87, and 276.74 mg L?1 for O. mossambicus; 329.12, 163.72, and 71.65 mg L?1 for M. micrura and 50.82, 14.90, and 39.47 mg L?1 for B. sowerbyi. Tilapia lost appetite at sub-lethal concentrations as low as 2.18 mg L?1 lactic acid, 1.26 mg L?1 acetic acid, and 13.84 mg L? 1 of benzoic acid. Growth and reproduction of the fish were affected following 90-day chronic exposure to sub-lethal concentrations of the acids. Minimum effective concentration of the acids that significantly reduced food conversion efficiency (FCE), percent increase of weight, specific growth rate, yield and fecundity of the fish were 2.18, 1.47, and 3.95 mg · L?1 of lactic acid, acetic acid, and benzoic acid, respectively. Effects of acetic acid and benzoic acid on FCE, weight increase, and yield were not significantly different from each other whereas lactic acid produced different effects from acetic acid as well as benzoic acid. Mean values of dissolved oxygen, primary productivity, and plankton populations of the test medium significantly reduced from control at 16.94 mg L?1 lactic acid, 16.79 mg L?1 acetic acid, and 13.84 mg L?1 benzoic acid.  相似文献

为探讨南美天胡荽对其他植物种子萌发的影响以及筛选影响其他植物的主要化合物,该文采用种子萌发试验、气相色谱-质谱联用以及液相色谱-质谱联用的方法,分析了南美天胡荽不同溶剂浸提液对种子萌发的影响、南美天胡荽植株及其根际土壤浸提液成分。结果表明:(1)南美天胡荽不同溶剂浸提物均具有一定程度的抑制种子萌发作用。(2)气相色谱-质谱分析下,南美天胡荽植株水浸提液中共分离鉴定了35种化合物,其中,邻苯二甲酸二丁酯(15.2%)、10,15-十八烷二元酸(8.58%)、2,4-二叔丁基苯酚(6.81%)相对含量最高; 根际土壤水浸提液中共分离鉴定了17种化合物,其中,油酸酰胺(26.47%)、正二十七烷(9.63%)、十六酸乙酯(4.83%)相对含量最高。(3)液相色谱-质谱分析下,南美天胡荽植株水浸提液共分离鉴定了109种化合物,ESI+模式下,L-苯丙氨酸(3 483.99 ng·mg-1)、木犀草素(2 306.64 ng·mg-1)含量最多,ESI-模式下,右旋奎宁酸(21 827.71 ng·mg-1)、绿原酸(12 589.25 ng·mg-1)含量最多; 根际土壤水浸提液中共分离鉴定了93种化合物,ESI+模式下,丁酸(7 660.53 ng·mg-1)、棕榈酰胺(3 200.36 ng·mg-1)含量最多,ESI-模式下,正二十八酸(18 605.35 ng·mg-1)、蔗糖(12 183.23 ng·mg-1)含量最多。(4)南美天胡荽的潜在化感物质主要为脂肪酸类、酰胺类、酯类、芳香酸类化合物,而土壤中直接起化感作用的物质可能为丁酸、正二十八酸、羟基乙酸、油酸酰胺、棕榈酰胺、十六酸乙酯、苯甲酸,其中脂肪酸类化合物输入可能来源于南美天胡荽、土壤微生物和土壤动物,酰胺类、酯类、芳香类化合物则更可能来源于南美天胡荽植株。  相似文献

该文以14个扦插培育的甜叶菊品种叶为材料,从8种不同型号的树脂中筛选出一种合适的大孔吸附树脂对甜叶菊叶中绿原酸类成分进行纯化前处理,采用HPLC法对不同甜叶菊品种叶中所含绿原酸类成分进行比较分析。结果表明:(1)在8种不同型号的树脂中,XAD~(-1)6对甜叶菊叶中绿原酸类成分吸附-解析性能最佳。(2)经优化,上样液浓度1.20 mg·mL~(-1)、样品溶液pH 3、解析液乙醇体积分数70%时XAD~(-1)6树脂对甜叶菊叶中绿原酸类成分具有较好的纯化效果。(3) HPLC检测分析表明,在14个品种中共检测出新绿原酸、绿原酸、隐绿原酸、异绿原酸B、异绿原酸A、异绿原酸C六种绿原酸类成分,其中主要成分均为异绿原酸A、绿原酸、异绿原酸C,而在品种3、5、13、14中没有检测出异绿原酸B。(4) 14个品种中6个绿原酸类成分的含量分别为异绿原酸A 20.55~54.3 mg·g~(-1)、绿原酸17.96~32.93 mg·g~(-1)、异绿原酸C 4.15~19.49 mg·g~(-1)、新原酸0.61~4.61 mg·g~(-1)、隐绿原酸0.52~3.11 mg·g~(-1)、异绿原酸B 0.0~3.17 mg·g~(-1),6种绿原酸类成分总量为43.9~97.8 mg·g~(-1)。可见,不同品种甜叶菊叶中绿原酸类成分含量有明显差异,富含绿原酸类成分的甜叶菊品种可用于开发获取绿原酸类物质。  相似文献

Oxidation of lactose by bromine in an aqueous buffered solution was conducted as a model experiment to examine the glycosidic linkage cleavage occurring during the oxidation of oligosaccharides and polysaccharides. The resulting oxidation products, after reduction with sodium borodeuteride, were characterized by GLC-MS analyses of the per-O-methyl or per-O-Me3Si derivatives. Most of the products were carboxylic acids, of which lactobionic acid was major. Minor products, identified after partial fractionation on a BioGel P-2 column, comprised oxalic acid; glyceric acid; threonic and erythronic acids; tartaric acid; lyxonic, arabinonic, and xylonic acids; galactonic and gluconic acids; galactosylerythronic acid; galactosylarabinonic acid; galactosylarabinaric acid; galacturonosylarabinonic acid; and galactosylglucaric acid. No keto acids were identified. Galactose was detected as 1-deuteriogalactitol, the presence of which, together with the C6 aldonic acids, supported a galactosidic bond cleavage. Galactosylarabinonic acid was the major constituent (7.5%) among minors, and others constituted 0.2-3.7% of the principal lactobionic acid. These products together comprised 29% of the lactobionic acid, more than half (17%) of which were accounted for by the galactosidic linkage cleavage, supporting the significant decrease in molecular weight seen earlier in the bromine-oxidized polysaccharides by glycosidic cleavage.  相似文献

Urine from patients with cerebrotendinous xanthomatosis (CTX) was found to contain a number of minor bile acids along with three major bile acids, 7-epicholic acid, norcholic acid, and cholic acid. The following minor bile acids were identified by combined gas-liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry: 7-ketobisnordeoxycholic acid; 12-ketobisnorchenodeoxycholic acid; 7-ketonordeoxycholic acid; 12-ketochenodeoxycholic acid; 7-ketodeoxycholic acid; 12-ketochendeoxycholic acid; bisnorcholic acid; allonorcholic acid; allocholic acid; 1 beta-hydroxybisnorcholic acid; 1 beta-hydroxynorcholic acid; 1 beta-hydroxycholic acid; 2 beta-hydroxybisnorcholic acid; 2 beta-hydroxy-norcholic acid; 2 beta-hydroxycholic acid. The presence of C22 and C23 bile acids in urine of the CTX patients suggests that bile alcohols having a hydroxyl group at C22 or C23 in the side chain may be further degraded to these bile acids.  相似文献
