Four lanthanide coordination polymers, [{Ln2(bpdc)3(phen)2(H2O)2} · (H2O)6]n (Ln = Sm (1); Eu (2); Gd (3), Tb (4)), were self-assembled from 2,2′-bipyridine-3,3′-dicarboxylic acid (H2bpdc),1,10-phenanthroline(phen) and corresponding lanthanide oxides by hydrothermal synthesis. Compounds 1-4 are found to be isomorphous and isostructural. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies show that compounds 1-4 are all of one-dimensional zigzag chain structures and extend to two-dimensional networks through π-π interactions and hydrogen bonds. The pyridyl nitrogen atoms of the 2,2′-bipyridyl unit in the bpdc ligand are uncoordinated in an anti-conformation along the central C-C bond of the ligand. Thermogravimetric analysis of 1-4 showed an obvious thermal stability indicating that the coordination habit of the metal ions with bpdc and phen has an effect on the overall framework. Photoluminescence measurement indicates that compound 2 and compound 4 are strong red and green emitters, respectively.  相似文献

The reaction of [Ni(tmhd)2] and [Ni(dbm)2] with N-donor chelating ligands in dichloromethane and acetone, respectively, yields the complexes [Ni(tmhd)2(L-L)] (L-L = 2,2′-bpy 1, phen 2 and dmae 3) and [Ni(dbm)2(L-L)] (L-L = 2,2′-bpy 4, phen 5, dmae 6). UV-Vis spectroscopy shows very strong bands in the UV region consistent with ligand centred π → π transitions. The electrochemical studies of 1-6 reveal oxidation to Ni(III). The [Ni(tmhd)2(L-L)] 1-3 are more easily oxidized by ca. 300 mV and are quasi-reversible whereas for the [Ni(dbm)2(L-L)] series only complex 6 shows significant reversibility. X-ray crystallographic studies have been conducted in the case of [Ni(dbm)2(phen)] 5 and [Ni(dbm)2(dmae)] 6. The structures both show that the nickel metal centre is octahedral with an O4N2 coordination environment. In the structures the β-diketonate ligands exhibit a cis-arrangement, with the metal displaced out of the planar chelate ring.  相似文献

The dinuclear complexes [Pd2(L)2(bipy)2] (1), [Pd2(L)2(phen)2] (2), [Pt2(L)2(bipy)2] (3) and [Pt2(L)2(phen)2] (4), where bipy = 2,2′-bipyridine, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline and L = 2,2′-azanediyldibenzoic dianion) dibridged by H2L ligands have been synthesized and characterized. The binding of the complexes with fish sperm DNA (FS-DNA) were investigated by fluorescence spectroscopy. The results indicate that the four complexes bound to DNA with different binding affinity, in the order complex 4 > complex 3 > complex 2 > complex 1, and the complex 3 binds to DNA in both coordination and intercalative mode. Gel electrophoresis assay demonstrates the ability of the complexes to cleave the pBR 322 plasmid DNA. The cytotoxic activity of the complexes was tested against four different cancer cell lines. The four complexes exhibited cytotoxic specificity and significant cancer cell inhibitory rate.  相似文献

A series of mononuclear acetonitrile complexes of the type [Ru(CH3CN)(L)(terpy)]2+ {L = phen (1), dpbpy (3), and bpm (5)}, and their reference complexes [RuCl(L)(terpy)]+ {L = phen (2), dpbpy (4), and dpphen (6)} were prepared and characterized by electrospray ionization mass spectrometry, UV-vis spectroscopy, and cyclic voltammograms (CV). Abbreviations of the ligands (Ls) are phen = 1,10-phenanthroline, dpbpy = 4,4′-diphenyl-2,2′-bipyridine, bpm = 2,2′-bipyrimidine, dpphen = 4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline, bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine, and terpy = 2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridine. The X-ray structures of the two complexes 2 and 3 were newly obtained. The metal-to-ligand charge transfer (MLCT) bands in the visible region for 1, 3, and 5 in acetonitrile were blue shifted relative to those of the reference complexes [RuCl(L)(terpy)]+. CV for all the [Ru(CH3CN)(L)(terpy)]2+ complexes showed the first oxidation wave at around 0.95 V, being more positive than those of [RuCl(L)(terpy)]+. The time-dependent-density-functional-theory approach (TDDFT) was used to interpret the absorption spectra of 1 and 2. Good agreement between computed and experimental absorption spectra was obtained. The DFT approach also revealed the orbital interactions between Ru(phen)(terpy) and CH3CN or Cl. It is demonstrated that the HOMO-LUMO energy gap of the acetonitrile ligand is larger than that of the Cl one.  相似文献

Four novel coordination polymers, [Cd(Hdtbb)(dtbb)0.5(DMF)]n (1), {[Cd(dtbb)(2,2′-bpy)(H2O)]·2DMA}n (2), {[Cd2(dtbb)2(1,4-bix)2]·3DMF}n (3) and [Cd(dtbb)(1,4-btx)]n (4) [H2dtbb = 2,2-dithiobisbenzoic acid, 2,2′-bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine, 1,4-bix = 1,4-bis(imidazol-1-ylmethyl)benzene, 1,4-btx = 1,4-bis(triazol-1-ylmethyl)benzene] have been synthesized and structurally characterized. Complexes 1 and 2 possess one-dimensional (1D) infinite structures. The structures of complexes 3 and 4 exhibit two dimensional (2D) frameworks, which mainly due to the differences in the bridging modes of dtbb2− ligand and the effect of the N-donor auxiliary ligands. The infrared spectra, thermogravimetric and luminescent properties were also investigated for these compounds.  相似文献

Hydrothermal reactions were used in the preparation of a series of bimetallic organic-inorganic hybrid materials of the M(II)/VxOy/organonitrogen ligand class. Compound 1, [{Cu2(bpa)2(C2O4)}2V4O12]·H2O, is molecular, while [{Cu(terpy)}2V6O17] (2), [Cu2(bpyrm)V4O12] (4) and [{Cu(phen)(H2O)2}VOF4(H2O)]·2H2O (5) are two-dimensional, three-dimensional and one-dimensional, respectively (bpa = 2,2′-bipyridylamine; terpy = 2,2′:6,2″-terpyridine; bpyrm = 2,2′-bipyrimidine; phen = 1,10-phenanthroline). In contrast to the 2-D structure of 2, the Ni(II) analogue [{Ni(terpy)}2V4O12]·2H2O (3) is one-dimensional. The {V4O12}4− cluster is a building block of structures 1, 3, and 4 while 2 is constructed from {V6O17}4− rings.  相似文献

The ‘molecular light switch’ complexes [Ru(bpy)2(dppz)]2+ (1) and [Ru(phen)2(dppz)]2+ (2), where bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline and dppz = dipyrido[3,2-a:2′,3′-c]phenazine, have been explored as probes for diagnosing and staining nuclear components. The phen complex acts as a better staining agent for nonviable cells than for viable cells and exhibits a staining efficiency in tail region of comet more specific and stronger than the already known dye Hoechst 33258.  相似文献

Dimethyl platinum(II) complexes [PtMe2(NN)] {NN = bu2bpy (4,4′-di-tert-butyl-2,2′-bipyridine) (1a), bpy (2,2′-bipyridine) (1b), phen (1,10-phenanthroline) (1c)} reacted with commercial 3-bromo-1-propanol in the presence of 1,3-propylene oxide to afford cis, trans- [PtBrMe2{(CH2)3OH}(NN)] (NN = bu2bpy (2a), bpy (2b), phen (2c)). On the other hand, [PtMe2(NN)] (1a)-(1b) reacted with the trace of HBr in commercial 3-bromo-1-propanol to give [PtBr2(NN)] (NN = bu2bpy (3a), bpy (3b)). The reaction pathways were monitored by 1H NMR at various temperatures. Treatment of 1a-1b with a large excess of 3-bromo-1-propanol at −80 °C gave the corresponding methyl(hydrido)platinum(IV) complexes [PtBr(H)Me2(NN)] (NN = bu2bpy (4a), bpy (4b)) via the oxidative addition of dimethyl platinum(II) complexes with HBr. The complexes [PtBr(H)Me2(NN)] decomposed by reductive elimination of methane above −20 °C for bu2bpy and from −20 to 0 °C for bpy analogue to give methane and platinum(II) complexes [PtBrMe(NN)] (5a)-(5b) and then decomposed at about 0 °C to yield [PtBr2(NN)] and methane. When the reactions were performed at a molar ratio of Pt:RX/1:10, the corresponding complexes [PtBrMe(NN)] (5a)-(5b) were also obtained. The crystal structure of the complex 3b shows that platinum adopts square planar geometry with a twofold axis through the platinum atom. The Pt…Pt distance (5.164 Å) is considerably larger than the interplanar spacing (3.400 Å) and there is no platinum-platinum interaction.  相似文献

Five new supramolecular lanthanide coordination polymers with three different structures, {[La2(IA)3(phen)2] · 2H2O}n (1), {[Ln(IA)1.5(phen)] · xH2O}n [x = 1, Ln = Eu (2); x = 0.25, Ln = Dy (3)], and [Ln(IA)1.5(phen)]n [Ln = Er (4); Yb (5)], were prepared by hydro- and solvothermal reactions of lanthanide chlorides with itaconic acid (H2IA) and 1,10-phenanthroline (phen), and structurally characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. 1 Comprises 1-D double-chains that are further assembled to a 3-D supramolecular structure via hydrogen bonds and π-π stacks between phen molecules. 2 and 3 have 2-D infinite networks which are further constructed to form 3-D supramolecular architectures with 1-D channels by π-π aromatic interactions. 4 and 5 have 2-D layer structures consisting of three types of rings which are further architectured to form 3-D supramolecular structures by C-H?O hydrogen bonds. The H2IA ligands are all completely deprotonated and exhibit tetra-, penta-, and hexadentate coordination modes in the titled complexes. The high-resolution emission spectrum of 2 shows only one Eu3+ ion site in 2, which is in agreement with the result of X-ray diffraction. And the magnetic property and the thermal stability of 2 were also investigated.  相似文献

Five new lanthanide complexes [Ln2(DTDN)4(phen)4]·7H2O·2H3O+ (Ln = Nd (1), Sm (2), Eu (3), Tb (4), Dy (5), H2DTDN = 2,2′-dithiodinicotinic acid, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) have been solvothermally synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analyses, IR spectra, and TG analyses. By in situ oxidation of 2-mercaptonanicotinic acid (2-H2MN), the expected ligand H2DTDN was generated. All crystals are isostructural and crystallize in monoclinic system with space group C2/c. The metal center is eight-coordinated completely by four carboxylic oxygen atoms from four different DTDN2− ligands, and four nitrogen atoms from two phen molecules with a distorted square-antiprismatic geometry. The structures can be considered as two-dimensional (2D) structures and further linked by hydrogen bonds into the final trinodal 4-connected network. Photoluminescence studies revealed that complexes 2-5 exhibit strong fluorescent emission bands in the solid state at room temperature.  相似文献

Ruthenium complexes [Ru(mpy)2(DMSO)2] (1) and [Ru(mbtz)2(DMSO)2] (2) containing 2-mercaptopyridine (mpy) and 2-mercaptobenzothiazole (mbtz) have been synthesized. Reactivity of 1 have been examined with 2,2′-bipyridine (bipy), 1,10-phenanthroline (phen), EPh3 (E = P, As) and 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)-methane (dppm). It reacted with bipy or phen in DMF to afford [Ru(mpy)2(bipy)] (3) and [Ru(mpy)2(phen)] (4) while, its reaction with EPh3 or dppm in common organic solvents failed to afford products containing EPh3 or dppm. Complexes under investigation have been characterized by elemental analyses, spectral, electrochemical studies and structures of 1-4 have been determined crystallographically. Density functional theory calculations have been performed on 1-4 and the model complex [Ru(mpy)(PMe3)2] (5) using exchange correlation functionals BP86. Optimized bond length and angles are in good agreement with the structural data. The Ru-N and Ru-S bond distances in [Ru(mpy)2]-moiety of 1 are relatively shorter than 5, indicating higher stability of 1 in comparison to 5. The WBI values of Ru-N1, Ru-N2, Ru-S1 and Ru-S2 bonds indicate Ru-mpy bonding trend as 3 > 4 > 1 > 5. There is an overall charge flow in the direction L → [Ru(mpy)2] (L = DMSO, bipy, phen and PMe3). Due to greater ionic character and Pauli repulsive interactions for Ru-PMe3 bond in comparison to Ru-DMSO, the DMSO ligands in 1 may not be substituted by phosphine ligands experimentally.  相似文献

A number of complexes of the types [PtBr2Me2(N?N)] (N?N = 4,4′-di-Me-2,2′-bpy (1); 4,4′-di-t-Bu-2,2′-bpy (2); 2,2′-bpz (3); bpym (4)) and [PtBr2Me2(L)2] (L = H-pz (5); 4-Me-H-pz (6); H-idz (7); H-im (8); H-bim (9); quaz (10)) are reported. Characterization by NMR (1H, 13C and 195Pt), IR and EI-MS is given. In addition, crystal structures of several of these complexes are described. Furthermore, interactions within these structures including intramolecular hydrogen bonding and π-π stacking interactions are reported. The reactivity of selected mononuclear complexes was investigated and yielded two dinuclear complexes [PPh4][(PtBrMe2)2(μ-Br)(μ-pz)2] (11) and [(PtBr2Me2)2(μ-bpym)] (12), respectively. The latter complex is accompanied by a solid-state structure. Finally, the thermal stability of all complexes is reported.  相似文献

Four coordination compounds of tetrazolate-5-carboxylate (tzc) with cobalt(II), [Co2(tzc)2(H2O)6]·2H2O (1), [Co2(tzc)2(phen)2(H2O)2]·2H2O (2), [Co2(tzc)2(2,2′-bpy)2(H2O)2]·H2O (3), and [Co(tzc)(4,4′-bpy)] (4), where phen = 1,10-phenanthroline, 2,2′-bpy = 2,2′-bipyridyl, and 4,4′-bpy = 4,4′-bipyridyl, have been synthesized by the hydrothermal methods involving the in situ generation of the ligand from sodium ethyl tetrazolate-5-carboxylate. Compounds 1, 2 and 3 all contain dinuclear molecules in which metal ions are linked by the double N-N bridges from two tzc ligands in the μ2-N1,O1:N2 mode, and the dinuclear molecules are associated into 3D architecture through extensive hydrogen bonding and π-π stacking interactions in various fashions. Compound 4 exhibits a two-dimensional layer structure in which Co(tzc) chains with μ3-N1,O1:O1:N2 tzc are cross-linked by 4,4′-bpy. Magnetic investigations on 1-3 revealed intramolecular ferromagnetic coupling through the double N-N bridges with intermolecular ferromagnetic or antiferromagnetic interactions. The interaction through the mixed N-N and μ2-Ocarboxylate bridges in 4 is antiferromagnetic.  相似文献

Two 2D rhombic grid-like organic-inorganic hybrid compounds [{M(2,2′-bpy)2}2{PMo11VO40}] (M = Cd(1), Zn(2); bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine) have been hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, TG analysis, luminescence spectroscopy, X-ray powder diffraction and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. They are isomorphic and their structures can be considered that the Keggin-heteropolyanion [PMo11VO40]4− are bridged by {M(2,2′-bpy)2} groups through the O-M-O bridges into a 2D covalent network. It is noteworthy that the adjacent layers stack each other to form 3D supermolecular structure via extended C-H?O interaction between Keggin-anions and 2,2′-bpy ligands of different layers. Furthermore, the electrochemical behavior of 1-CPE (1-modified carbon paste electrode) and 2-CPE and their electrocatalytic reduction of nitrite were investigated.  相似文献

New mixed polypyridyl {NMIP = 2′-(2″-nitro-3″,4″-methylenedioxyphenyl)imidazo-[4′,5′-f][1,10]-phenanthroline, dmb = 4,4′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine, bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine} ruthenium(II) complexes [Ru(dmb)2(NMIP)]2+ (1) and [Ru(bpy)2(NMIP)]2+ (2) have been synthesized and characterized. The binding of these complexes to calf thymus DNA (CT-DNA) has been investigated with spectroscopic methods, viscosity and electrophoresis measurements. The experimental results indicate that both complexes could bind to DNA via partial intercalation from the minor/major groove. In addition, both complexes have been found to promote the single-stranded cleavage of plasmid pBR 322 DNA upon irradiation. Under comparable experimental conditions compared with [Ru(phen)2(NMIP)]2+, during the course of the dialysis at intervals of time, the CD signals of both complexes started from none, increased to the maximum magnitude, then no longer changed, and the activity of effective DNA cleavage dependence upon concentration degree lies in the following order: [Ru(phen)2NMIP]2+ > complex 2 > complex 1.  相似文献

Four novel metal coordination polymers, [Cd(dpa)(H2O)]n (1), [Cd(dpa)(2,2′-bipy)]n (2), {[Cd2(dpa)2(4,4′-bipy)3](4,4′-bipy)(H2O)2}n (3) and [Cd(dpa)(bim)2(H2O)]}n (4) (H2dpa = 2,4′-biphenyl-dicarboxylic acid, 2,2′-bipy = 2,2′-bipyridine, 4,4′-bipy = 4,4′-bipyridine, bim = benzimidazole), have been synthesized and structurally characterized by elemental analysis, IR and X-ray diffraction. Single-crystal X-ray analyses reveal that the 2,4′-diphenic acids acts as bridging ligands, exhibiting rich coordination modes to link metal ions: bis-monodentate, bidentate chelating, chelating/bridging, monoatomic bridging and monodentate modes. In addition, the luminescent properties for compound 1-4 are also investigated in this work.  相似文献

Four new Cu(II) complexes [Cu(pzda)(2,2′-bpy)(H2O)] · 2.5H2O (1), [Cu(pzda)(phen)(H2O)] · H2O (2), [Cu(pzda)(4,4′-bpy)] · H2O (3) and [Cu(pzda)(bpe)0.5(H2O)] (4) were synthesized by hydrothermal reactions of copper salt (acetate or sulphate) with pyrazine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid (H2pzda), and 2,2′-bipyridine (2,2′-bpy), 1,10-phenanthroline (phen), 4,4′-bipyridine (4,4′-bpy) or 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)-ethane (bpe), respectively. For 1 and 2, they are both monomeric entities which are further assembled into 3D supramolecular networks by hydrogen bonds and π-π stacking interactions. Complex 3 has a 2D metal-organic framework which is connected into 3D supramolecular network by hydrogen bonds. However, for 4, the bpe ligand bridges two Cu(II) ions into binuclear unit, and then the binuclear molecules are assembled into 3D supramolecular network by hydrogen bonds between the coordination water molecule and the carboxylate oxygen atoms. The thermal decomposition mechanism of complexes 1 and 2 cooperated with powder XRD at different temperatures is discussed. The results reveal that once liberation of water molecules takes place the supramolecular network of 1 and 2 collapses.  相似文献

Five MnII-sdba coordination polymers with mono-, di-, tri-, tetra-nuclear cores based on the V-shaped 4,4′-dicarboxybiphenyl sulfone (H2sdba) ligands: [Mn(sdba)(phen)2(H2O)]n·3nH2O (1), [Mn2(sdba)2(μ-H2O)(py)4]n (2), [Mn3(sdba)2(Hsdba)2(2,2′-bipy)2]n (3), [Mn4(sdba)4(4-mepy)2(H2O)4]n·2nH2O (4) and [Mn4(sdba)4(bpp)4(μ-H2O)2]n·0.5nH2O (5) (phen = 1,10-phenanthroline, 2,2′-bipy = 2,2′-bipyridine, 4-mepy = 4-picoline, bpp = 1,3-bi(pyridine-4-yl)propane) were hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized. The M-O-C metal clusters in above complexes act as SBUs, and the V-shaped sdba ligands link the SBUs to generate the novel frameworks. In complexes 1 and 3 their 1D chains are linked into the 2D planes through various hydrogen bonding. Complex 2 displays the 3D structure with interpenetrated threefold, while complexes 4 and 5 both exhibit the 3D structures with the tetra-nuclear Mn4 units. The magnetic susceptibility studies in the 2-300 K range for these complexes reveal the existence of anti-ferromagnetic exchange interactions between the MnII ions.  相似文献

We have reported main group metal chalcogenido clusters of cubic [InQ(phen)Cl]4 (Q = S (1) and Se (2); phen = 1,10-phenanthroline). Herein two new cubic clusters with ligand of 2,2′-bipyridine (bpy) have been synthesized by solvothermal technique, [InSe(bpy)Cl]4 (3) and [InS(bpy)Cl]4·H2O (4). The molecular structures and electronic states of compounds 3 and 4 are presented by comparing with those of 1 and 2. Though the clusters of 1-4 are similar, their packing structures show diverse modes. Spectroscopic study and theoretical calculation indicate that introducing phen/bpy to chalcogenido clusters can decrease the energy gap of frontier orbitals from HOMO to LUMO due to the cluster to ligand charge-transfer (CLCT). Increasing the conjugated system of the organic ligand or using the heavier chalcogenido element might improve the photophysical absorption of the materials.  相似文献

A novel polypyridyl ligand CNPFIP (CNPFIP = 2-(5(4-chloro-2-nitrophenyl)furan-2-yl)-1H-imidazo[4,5f][1,10]phenanthroline) and its mononuclear Ru(II) polypyridyl complexes of [Ru(phen)2CNPFIP]2+(1) (phen = 1,10-phenanthroline), [Ru(bpy)2CNPFIP]2+(2) (bpy = 2,2′-bipyridine), and [Ru(dmb)2CNPFIP]2+(3) (dmb = 4,4′-dimethyl-2,2′-bipyridine) have been synthesized successfully and characterized thoroughly by elemental analysis, UV/Vis, IR, NMR, and ESI-MS. The interaction of the Ru(II) complexes with calf thymus DNA (CT-DNA) was investigated by absorption titration, fluorescence, viscosity measurements. The experimental results suggest that three complexes bind to CT-DNA through an intercalative mode and the DNA-binding affinity of complex 1 is greater than that of complexes 2 and 3. The photocleavage of plasmid pBR322 DNA by ruthenium complexes 1, 2, and 3 was investigated. We have also tested three complexes for their antimicrobial activity against Escherichia coli (Gram-negative) and Staphylococcus aureus (Gram-positive) bacteria. The in vitro cytotoxicity of these complexes was evaluated by MTT assay, and complex 1 shows higher cytotoxicity than 2 and 3 on HeLa cells. The induced apoptosis and cell cycle arrest of HeLa cells were investigated by flow cytometry for 24 h. The molecular docking of ruthenium complexes 1, 2, and 3 with the active site pocket residues of human DNA TOP1 was performed using LibDock.  相似文献
