A new lignan, named (—)-massoniresinol, has been isolated from Pinus massoniana needles. Its structure has been proved to be (2R,3S,4R)-3,4-dihydroxy-2-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-4-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzyl)-3-tetrahydrofuranmethanol by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, mass and CD spectroscopy.  相似文献

The glucosinolate fraction in seeds of Neslia paniculata (L.) Desv., subsp. thracica (Velen.) Bornmüller, (Cruciferae), has been isolated and subjected to enzymic hydrolysis. The isothiocyanates thus produced have been separated and identified as cheirolin (II), (R)-9-methylsulfinylnonyl (III), (R)-10-methylsulfinyldecyl (IV), and (R)-11-methylsulfinylundecyl isothiocyanate (V), the last of which has not been previously encountered as a natural compound.  相似文献

The complete structural elucidation of the two caffeic acid sugar esters verbascoside and orobanchoside, has been realized by 1H and 13C NMR studies. It has been demonstrated that verbascoside is β-(3′,4′-dihydroxyphenyl)ethyl-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl(1→3)-β-D-(4-O-caffeoyl)-glucopyranoside, and orobanchoside is β-hydroxy-β-(3′,4′-dihydroxyphenyl)-ethyl-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl(1→2)-β-D-(4-O-caffeoyl)-glucopyranoside.  相似文献

2(S),4(R)-4-(β-d-Galactopyranosyloxy)-4-isobutylglutamic acid (I) has been isolated from the flowers of Reseda odorata, wherein it occurs in substantial quantity. Hydrolysis of I gives d-galactose, 2(S),4(R)-4-hydroxy-4-isobutylglutamic acid (II) and 3(R),5(S)-3-hydroxy-3-isobutyl-2-pyrrolidone-5-carboxylic acid (III) and its treatment with nitrous acid yields a galactoside of a non-nitrogenous hydroxy acid lactone (IV). The structures of I and its degradation products are supported by PMR, 13C-NMR and other spectroscopic methods. 13C-NMR spectroscopy of the model compound 2-(β-d-galactopyranosyloxy)isobutyric acid confirmed the structure of the natural product. The S- (or l-) configuration at C(2) in the amino acid moiety of I has been established by the use of the Clough—Lutz—Jirgenson rule and the R-configuration at C(4) of the same unit has been assigned tentatively. I represents the first example of a glycoside of a higher plant amino acid in which the carbohydrate residue is linked to an aliphatic hydroxy group.  相似文献

A new tetrasaccharide, orthenthose, has been isolated from the dried twigs of Orthenthera viminea (Family: Asclepiadaceae). Stereochemistry of the biomimetic reduction of α-keto esters with NAD(P)H-model compounds has been investigated. The model compound with the R-configuration reduces the α-keto esters to the (R)-α-hydroxy esters, whereas (S)-α-hydroxy esters are afforded by the reduction with the S-configurational model compounds. It has been concluded that pro-R and -S hydrogens of the model compounds with R- and S-configuration, respectively, contribute predominantly to the reduction.  相似文献

A series of N-((2S,3R)-1-(3,5-difluorophenyl)-3-hydroxy-4-(3-methoxybenzylamino)-butan-2-yl)benzamides has been synthesized as BACE inhibitors. From the hot petrol extract of Piper cubeba ftuits, six lignans were isolated. Two of these, which have been obtained from a natural source for the first time, have been characterized as (2R,3R)-2-(3″,4″,5″-trimethoxybenzyl)-3-(3′,4′-methylenedioxybenzyl)-1,4-butanediol [(?)-dihydroclusin] and (3R,4R)-3,4-bis-(3,4,5-trimethoxybenzyl)tetra-hydro-2-furanol [(?)-cubebinin]. (?)Cubebin, (?)-hinokinin, (?)-clusin and (?)-dihydrocubebin were also found in this plant. Only (?)-cubebin has been reported so far from this source.  相似文献

Two novel amide alkaloids, wisanine and wisanidine, have been isolated from the petroleum-extract of the roots of Piper guineense, and found to be N-piperidyl-5 (2-methoxy-4,5-methylenedioxyphenyl)-trans-2-trans-4-pentadienamide and N-pyrrolidyl-5-(2-methoxy-4, 5-methylenedioxyphenyl)-trans-2-trans-4-pentadienamide respectively. The structure of wisanidine has been confirmed by synthesis. Two new 4-quinazolone alkaloids have been isolated from seed husks of Zanthoxylum arborescens. Based on their spectroscopic properties they have been assigned structures, 1-methyl-3-(2′-phenylethyl)-1H,3H-quinazoline-2,4-dione and 1-methyl-3-[2′-(4″-methoxyphenyl)ethyl]-1H,3H-quinazoline-2,4-dione. These structural assignments have been confirmed by synthesis. Skimmianine has been obtained from leaf extracts of Z. dimoncillo and Z. caribaeum while skimmianine and scopeletin have been isolated from leaf extracts of Z. fagara.  相似文献

In addition to the four cytokinins, 6-(3-methyl-2-butenylamino)purine, 6-methylaminopurine and the cis and trans isomers of 6-(4-hydroxy-3-methyl-2-butenylamino)purine, reported earlier from our laboratories, three cytokinin-active fractions have been obtained from the aqueous medium of 6-day-old Corynebacterium fascians cultures. Reversion from the suppressed to nonsuppressed phenotype in strains of genotype SUQ5 [psi+] ade2-1 his5-2 lys1-1 can1-100 ura3-1 has been induced by treatment with ethyl methanesulphonate, nitrosoguanidine or UV (254 nm) light. Spontaneously occurring revertants have also been selected by two different methods. Reversion has been shown to occur through a variety of nuclear mutations and through mutation of [psi+] to [psi-]. Nuclear mutations included back-mutation of SUQ5, antisuppressor mutations that were recessive, semi-dominant or dominant, and dominant or recessive mutations of genes required for the maintenance of the [psi+] factor. Complementation tests by which the various kinds of mutations could be distinguished from one another were designed. Taking advantage of the catalytic promiscuity of pyrimidine-catabolism enzymes (dihydropyrimidinase (E.C. 3.5.2.2), N-carbamoyl-β-alanine amidohydrolase (E.C. 3.5.1.6)), the production of different β-alanine derivatives starting from 5- and 6-monosubstituted dihydrouracils has been evaluated using a mimesis approach. In this work, the S-enantioselective character of dihydropyrimidinase from Sinorizhobium meliloti toward 6-monosubstituted dihydrouracil derivatives has been shown. An inverted R-/S-enantioselectivity of N-carbamoyl-β-alanine amidohydrolase from Agrobacterium tumefaciens toward two different N-carbamoyl-β-amino acids has been proved. Our results have shown for the first time that this mimetic tandem constitutes an interesting biotechnological tool for the preparation of different β-alanine derivatives in an environmentally friendly way, allowing the production of enantioenriched (R)-α-phenyl-β-alanine (e.e. > 95%) and (R)-α-methyl-β-alanine (e.e. > 90%).  相似文献

Berkeleyomyces basicola and Berkeleyomyces rouxiae, two sister species previously treated collectively as Thielaviopsis basicola, reside in the Ceratocystidaceae (Microascales, Ascomycota). Both species are important root pathogens of many important agricultural crops and ornamental plants. Although T. basicola has been known for more than 150y, a sexual state has never been found and it has been assumed to be an asexual pathogen. The aim of this study was to determine the mating strategy of the two Berkeleyomyces species. Investigation of the genome sequences of two B. basicola isolates allowed for the complete characterization of the MATlocus, revealing that it has a typical heterothallic mating system with the MAT1-1andMAT1-2 idiomorphs occurring in different isolates. PCR amplification using mating type primers developed in this study, showed that the MAT1-1-1andMAT1-2-1 genes were also present in different isolates of B. rouxiae. Pairing of isolates representing the two mating types of both species,using a variety of techniques failed to produce sexual structures. Although we have found no direct evidence that they reproduce sexually, these fungi are clearly heterothallic with both mating types occurring in some countries suggesting that a cryptic sexual cycle could exist for them.  相似文献
