1. The vertical distribution of zooplankton results from active habitat choice aiming to optimise fitness gain in a system of trade‐offs. 2. Using large, controlled indoor mesocosms (Plön Plankton Towers), we monitored the behavioural response of Daphnia pulicaria to vertical gradients of temperature, food, oxygen and light, in the presence and absence of fish predation. 3. In the absence of fish, Daphnia distributed as predicted by an ideal ‘free distribution with costs’. If the food was distributed homogeneously, they stayed in the warm epilimnion, while they balanced their time dwelling in epi‐ and hypolimnion if the food was concentrated in a deep‐water maximum. 4. However, oxygen depletion in the hypolimnion, representing an additional cost, prevented Daphnia from completely exploiting the hypolimnetic food maximum. Consequently, the proportion dwelling in the hypolimnion was larger if oxygen was not limiting. 5. Fish predation had an overwhelming effect, driving Daphnia into the hypolimnion under all experimental conditions. If permitted by oxygen availability, Daphnia used the whole hypolimnion, but oxygen depletion reduced their possible habitat to the upper hypolimnion with oxygen concentrations above c. 0.7 mg L?1. As fish were less tolerant of low oxygen, the layer below the thermocline formed a predation refuge for Daphnia.  相似文献

Vertical migration of Daphnia represents the best-studied predator-avoidance behaviour known; yet the mechanisms underlying the choice to migrate require further investigation to understand the role of environmental context. To investigate the optimal habitat choice of Daphnia under fish predation pressure, first, we selected the individuals exhibiting strong migration behaviour. The animals collected from the hypolimnion during the daytime were significantly larger, being more conspicuous, and in turn performed stronger diel vertical migration (DVM) when exposed to fish cue. We called them strong migrants. Second, we provided the strong migrant D. pulex with food at high and intermediate (1 and 0.4 mg C l−1, respectively) levels, which were well above the incipient limiting level and of high quality. They traded the benefits of staying in the warm water layer and moved down to the cold water in response to fish cue indicating fish predation. The availability of food allowed the animals to stay in the cold hypolimnion. However, at the low food level (0.1 mg C l−1), which is an additional constraint on fitness, Daphnia moved away from the cold hypolimnion. Poor food condition resulted in strong migrant Daphnia to cease migration and remain in the upper warmer water layer. Although temperature is known to be a more important cost factor of DVM than food, our results clearly show that this is only true as long as food is available. It becomes clear that food availability is controlling the direction of vertical positioning when daphnids experience a dilemma between optimising temperature and food condition while being exposed to fish cue. Then they overlook the predation risk. Thus, the optimal habitat choice of Daphnia appears to be a function of several variables including temperature, food levels and fish predation. Diel vertical migration (DVM) is a complex and dynamic behaviour against predation because the reaction of migrating organisms to light intensity plays a primary role, but is modified by other factors. In the relatively shallow but thermally stratified Lake Eymir, Daphnia pulex de Geers utilized vertical refugia afforded by the hypolimnion during both day and night. Differences in general vulnerability to fish predation determined the differences in their mean residence depths (MRDs) of different population categories such as most conspicuous and vulnerable individuals of adult with eggs inhabited the deepest depth, whereas juveniles stayed close the thermocline. In late spring, profoundly high amplitude of displacement within the hypolimnion, probably due to the hypolimnion being well-lit and relatively well-oxygenated for the fish and rather unsafe for the large-sized daphnids, was recorded. Therefore, the large-sized daphnids daytime refuge was close to the bottom whereas at night they moved upward to benefit from warmer water temperature along with food availability in the presence of fish predation but still remained below the thermocline. In summer, the insignificant amplitude of the hypolimnetic, which later became epilimnetic, displacements were probably due to the near-anoxic condition found below the thermocline. This might have deterred the fish, thus providing a safer refuge for daphnids in the below thermocline, which afterwards became the above thermocline. Low oxygen availability was regarded as the summer proximate factor. The abundant food and warmer water conditions found in the below/above thermocline also accounted for absence of DVM in summer. Consequently, this study suggests that DVM by Daphnia is an adaptation that is plastic to changing environmental conditions.  相似文献

Population dynamics and vertical migration of Daphnia longispina in Lake Yunoko were studied. The Daphnia population was small in spring and early summer, probably because of high predation pressure by fish. The population grew in midsummer, when thermal stratification developed and the dissolved oxygen became very low in the deeper layer of the hypolimnion. In this season, adults of D. longispina concentrated in the daytime near the lake bottom, where fish were absent because of the anoxic conditions, but ascended at night to the upper layer of the hypolimnion, where food was most abundant. The low oxygen layer near the bottom kept out the predators and protected Daphnia from predation, and consequently contributed to the built-up of its population. However, the low oxygen layer was unfavorable for reproduction of Daphnia, as reflected in the low egg ratio and high percentage of males in the population. The population decreased in the fall, when thermal stratification disappeared and predation pressure seemed to increase.  相似文献

The exploitation of a deep algal maximum by Daphnia in the absence of fish predation was studied in large indoor mesocosms. Facing the dilemma of low food but high temperature in the epilimnion vs. high food but low temperature in the hypolimnion, Daphnia distribute above and below the thermocline in order to optimise their fitness. Labelling hypolimnetic algae with 15N revealed that the vertical distribution of Daphnia is dynamic, i.e., all individuals traverse the thermocline and allocate a certain proportion of their time to feeding in the cold water. The overall energy gain from the deep-water algal maximum is lower than from the same algal concentration in the epilimnion due to the low temperature and the limited time an individual spends in the hypolimnion. The results provide mechanistic support for the hypothesis that Daphnia chose their habitat according to an Ideal Free Distribution with Costs model.  相似文献

Our observations indicate the vertical distribution of zooplankton and its seasonal changes in Dubník II reservoir (Slovakia) are determined mainly by the thermal regime of the reservoir, by transparency, and by fish and invertebrate predation. During periods of circulation, zooplankton vertical distribution in the whole water column was more homogeneous, whilst during summer temperature stratification zooplankton concentrated in the epilimnion — rotifers in higher layers than crustaceans. During summer stagnation a steep thermal gradient occurred at the boundary of the epi-and hypolimnion and low temperature and low dissolved oxygen in hypolimnion offered a refuge for Chaoborus flavicans larvae against fish, enabling coexistence of vertebrate and invertebrate predation. This evidence supports our previous findings concerning dominance of rotifers in zooplankton and representation of crustaceans by small-bodied species in the study reservoir. Steep thermal gradient and the presence of Chaoborus larvae caused very low zooplankton abundance in the lower part of the water column and a reduction of cladocerans refuges against fish to layers of thermocline or closely under thermocline where Daphnia cucullata and Daphnia parvula were found. Our previous assumptions about the high density of zooplanktivorous fish in Dubník II reservoir are supported by the fact that these small cladocerans are represented by smaller individuals in the upper layers and bigger individuals in deeper layers.  相似文献

Summary Two commonly coexisting species of Daphnia segregate by habitat in many stratified lakes. Daphnia pulicaria is mostly found in the hypolimnion whereas D. galeata mendotae undergoes diel vertical migration between the hypolimnion and the epilimnion. I examined how habitat segregation between these two potentially competing species might be affected by trophic interactions with their resources and predators by performing a field experiment in deep enclosures in which I manipulated fish predation, nutrient levels, and the density of epilimnetic Daphnia. The results of the experiment indicate that habitat use by D. pulicaria can be jointly regulated by competition for food from epilimnetic Daphnia and predation by fishes. Patterns of habitat segregation between the two Daphnia species were determined by predation by fish but not by nutrient levels: The removal of epilimnetic fish predators resulted in higher zooplankton and lower epilimnetic phytoplankton densities and allowed D. pulicaria to expand its habitat distribution into the epilimnion. In contrast, increased resource productivity resulted in higher densities of both Daphnia species but did not affect phytoplankton levels or habitat use by Daphnia. The two species exhibit a trade-off in their ability to exploit resources and their susceptibility to predation by fish. D. g. mendotae (the less susceptible species) may thus restrict D. pulicaria (the better resource exploiter) from the epilimnion when fish are common due to lower minimum resource requirements than those needed by D. pulicaria to offset the higher mortality rate imposed by selective epilimnetic fish predators. D. g. mendotae does not appear to have this effect in the absence of fish.  相似文献

The vertical distribution of some ciliated Protozoa in the plankton of a pond in north-west England was investigated during August 1971. At this time, when the pond was stratified with an oxygen dificient hypolimnion, ciliates were counted at 10-cm depth intervals every 5 h over 25 h. The most common species (Loxodes magnus and L. striatus) were confined to the hypolimnion; there was no diurnal migration into the epilimnion. Earlier work had shown that Loxodes species require oxygen; it is therefore possible that these ciliates, which inhabited the oxygen dificient hypolimnion, migratedvertically, from time to time, to an oxygen supply at the boundary with the well-oxygenated epilimnion. To test this, Loxodes populations were confined in cellophane tubese both in the hypolimnion (at 3 m) and epilimnion (0.5 m) for 12 and 24 h (earlier trials had shown that the tubes were not markedly toxic). The ciliates died at both depths, and in a further experiment when Loxodes were confined at 3 m and 0.5 m and sampled at 5-h intervals up to 25 h it was found that they survived longer in the hypolimnion. It is suggested that ciliatees confined at 3 m died because they were unable to migrate vertically to an oxygen supply, while those at 0.5 m died because some other adverse factor was operating in the eiplimnion. Laboratory experiments showed that Loxodes died inn water in which phytoplankton photosynthesis took place and it is suggested that side effects of photosynthesis in the epilimnion (e.g. a rise in pH) caused the death of ciliates exposed at 0.5 m.  相似文献

In spring and early summer, a small population of the large-bodied Daphnia pulicaria coexists with a much larger population of the medium-sized hybrid Daphnia galeata × hyalina in the epilimnion of Lake Maarsseveen (The Netherlands). When large shoals of juvenile perch (Perca fluviatilis) appear in the open water, both species start to migrate vertically. Since D. pulicaria has a larger body-size than D. galeata × hyalina, and is therefore competitive dominant over the hybrid, it is unlikely that both species interact via their common food resource, but they react both to fish predation. However, since they differ in size, and therefore in vulnerability for fish predation, both species adopt different strategies. The smaller bodied, and less vulnerable D. galeata × hyalina exhibits diel vertical migration ascending to the surface at dusk, and staying there during the night. In this way, benefiting from the higher temperatures of the surface layers. In contrast, the large-bodied, and more vulnerable D. pulicaria selects the deep cold hypolimnion water layers as refuge against fish predation. In this way it benefits from a safe habitat, free from fish predators, but on the other hand suffers from low water temperatures, which decrease its fitness. It is likely that the relatively higher temperature in the upper water layers serves as a proximate factor for the downward migration of D. pulicaria.  相似文献

During a short period of the year, Daphnia may perform a phenotypically induced diel vertical migration. For this to happen, light-induced swimming reactions must be enhanced both at dawn and at dusk. Enhanced swimming in response to light intensity increase can be elicited by fish-associated kairomone in the laboratory, if food is sufficiently available. However, during the light change at dusk the Daphnia are still in the hypolimnion, where no fish kairomone is present and both temperature and food availability is low. Still, what goes down must come up. This raises questions about how Daphnia tunes its light-induced swimming behaviour to prevailing conditions such that a normal diel vertical migration can be performed. We investigated the symmetry in behavioural mechanism underlying these diel vertical migrations in the hybrid Daphnia galeata × hyalina (Cladocera; Crustacea), with special interest for the environmental cues that are known to affect swimming in response to light increase. That is, we tested whether fish- associated kairomone, food availability, and temperature affected both swimming in response to light intensity increase and decrease similarly. We quantified swimming behaviour during a sequentially increased rate of light change. Vertical displacement velocity was measured and proved to be linearly related to the rate of the light change. The slope (PC) of the function depends on the value of the factors kairomone concentration, food availability, and temperature. The changes of the PC with kairomone concentration and with temperature were similar both at light intensity increases and decreases. The PC also increased with food concentration, although during light increases in a different way from during light intensity decreases. Low food availability inhibited swimming in response to light intensity increase, but enhanced swimming in response to light intensity decrease. Hence, ascent from the deep water layers with low food concentration at dusk is facilitated. These causal relations are part of a proximate decision-making mechanism which may help the individual Daphnia to tune migration to predation intensity and food availability.  相似文献

The diel vertical distribution of young-of-the-year (YOY) burbot Lota lota in the pelagic zone of Lake Constance was compared to light intensity at the surface and to the light intensity at their mean depth. Lota lota larvae inhabited the pelagic zone of Lake Constance from the beginning of May until the end of August. From early June, after the stratification of the water column, fish performed diel vertical migrations (DVM) between the hypolimnion and epilimnion. The amplitude of DVM increased constantly during the summer and reached 70 m by the end of August. Lota lota started their ascent to the surface after sunset and descended into the hypolimnion after sunrise. As the YOY fish grew from May to August, they experienced decreasing diel maximum light intensities: in May and early June L. lota spent the day at light intensities >40 W m−2, but they never experienced light intensities >0·1 W m−2 after the end of June. From this time, L. lota experienced the brightest light intensities during dusk and dawn, suggesting feeding opportunities at crepuscular hours. The present study implies, that YOY L. lota in the pelagic zone of Lake Constance increased their DVM amplitude during the summer to counteract a perceived predation risk related to body size and pigmentation.  相似文献

One hundred zebra fish per tank were maintained for 112 days at 24°C or 28°C in glass aquaria and fed a diet of flaked food made without cellulose (13.45 kJ g?1, metabolizable energy, Type A) or with cellulose (8.71 kJ g?1, metabolizable energy, Type B). Each experimental condition was repeated in triplicate (12 tanks). The weight of food given daily to the fish was based on daily records of survivors (from which mortality rates were calculated) and wet wt of fish (measured every 14 days) in each tank. All fish were fed with the same weight of food per day and the quantity of energy in the food in excess of standard metabolism (as a proportion of SM) was approximately 0–5 for fish maintained at 28°C and fed food B, 1–0 for fish maintained at 24°C and fed food B, 1–5 for fish maintained at 28°C and fed food A, and 2.2 for fish maintained at 24°C and fed food A. Non-ionized ammonia, nitrite and nitrate nitrogen in the tanks did not reach toxic levels although there was an increase in total ammonium nitrogen in one tank and a subsequent heavy mortality. It was assumed that this was caused by the build up of pathogenic bacteria. Apart from this tank, mortality was highest in tanks at 28°C with fish fed food A and second highest in tanks at 24°C with fish fed on the same diet. Growth was measured in units of length, wet and dry weights, carbon and energy. There was a good correlation (P < 0.001) between carbon (mgC mg?1) and calorific (J mg?1) values and a conversion factor of 46.2 J (mgC)?1 was derived. Fish maintained at 24°C and fed food A had the highest rates of growth both in weight and in energy value per unit weight. Fish fed the same diet but kept at 28°C had the lowest growth rates. Both these groups of fish had the highest coefficients of variation in wet weights which increased during the experiment, indicating an increase in interaction within the tanks. There was agreement between the energy value of fish sampled for growth and a condition factor based on the length-weight relationships of fish remaining in the tanks. A correlation (P < 0.05) was found between instantaneous mortality and growth rates for fish between tanks when those maintained at 28°C and fed on food A were ignored.  相似文献

The vertical distributions and migrations are described of the most abundant flagellated phytoplankton species from the summer community of a small forest lake in southern Finland. The lake showed a steep and stable thermal stratification with a shallow oxygenated epilimnion. Horizontal variation of phytoplankton distribution within the lake was tested on two scales and found to be statistically significant only in the case of Mallomonas reginae. The vertical distribution of flagellated phytoplankton was assessed by reference to the distribution of a non-motile, neutrally buoyant species Ankyra judayi. Statistically significant, active vertical positioning was demonstrated for all the flagellates examined with the exception of Spiniferomonas bourrellyi. Diel vertical migrations were apparent for all species showing active positioning and the pattern of an evening descent and a morning ascent was ubiquitous. The extent and timing of diel migrations varied between species. The most extensive migrations were by Cryptomonas marssonii which crossed a temperature gradient of 14 °C and penetrated far into the anoxic hypolimnion. Several categories of competitive advantage can be gained by species undertaking such diel vertical migrations.  相似文献

Some ciliated Protozoa (e.g. Loxodes magnus, L. striatus, Spirostomum teres, S. ambiguum and Frontonia leucas) are abundant during summer in the hypolimnion of a eutrophic pond in north-west England but are absent from the epilimnion. The work described in this paper was begun with the aim of investigating the suggestion that high pH values caused by phytoplankton photosynthesis contributed to the exclusion of these ciliates from the epilimnion. In July 1973, phytoplankton photosynthesis and high pH were found only in the epilimnion, hence conditions were compatible with the above suggestion. Ciliates were, therefore, kept in the laboratory in hypolimnion water and were exposed to phytoplankton photosynthesis, both with and without pH increase. It was found that Loxodes died under both treatments hence there is no evidence that high pH is lethal to Loxodes. It seemed possible, therefore, that either light or toxins released by algae during photosynthesis are lethal to Loxodes. L. magnus was, therefore, exposed to light in the absence of phytoplankton (in filtered hypolimnion water) both in the laboratory and in the pond and it was found that light was lethal. High light intensities might, therefore, contribute to the exclusion of at least Loxodes species from the surface water of the pond, although other adverse factors are probably operative since Loxodes species do not migrate into the epilimnion at night.  相似文献

Summary We investigate how body size of two coexisting Daphnia species varies among 7 lakes that represent a gradient of predation risk. The two species segregate vertically in stratified lakes; D. galeata mendotae is typically smaller and more eplimnetic than D. pulicaria. The extent of vertical habitat partitioning, however, varies seasonally within and among lakes in apparent response to predation intensity by epilimnetic planktivorous fishes. Daphnia pulicaria uses the epilimnion at low levels of fish predation but is restricted to the hypolimnion under high fish predation, whereas D. galaeta mendotae always utilizes the epilimnion. The species display contrasting patterns of genetic variation in neonate size and size at maturity. D. pulicaria is larger in lakes with higher fish and Chaoborus densities whereas D. galeata mendotae is smaller. This contrast in body size in lakes with high predation is associated with greater habitat segregation in those lakes. In lakes with low predation risk, the two species are similar in body size at birth and maturity.Authorship order alphabetical  相似文献

1. In a thermally stratified water column with a deep‐water algal maximum, Daphnia face a trade‐off between food (high fecundity) and temperature (fast development). Recent studies showed that Daphnia populations move up and down the entire water column to take advantage of both, but the proportion of time allocated by individuals to the epilimnion, metalimnion and hypolimnion with their specific food and temperature conditions is not yet known. 2. In a system of 1 m deep, vertical perspex tubes, I established three temperature gradients with 2, 5 and 10 °C differences between the surface (epilimnion) and the bottom layer (hypolimnion). Algae were added to the hypolimnion to simulate a deep‐water algal maximum. 3. The migration behaviour of individual neonate and egg‐bearing Daphnia hyalina × galeata was monitored in order to measure the proportions of time the individuals allocated to the different vertical habitats and to assess the frequency of their shifts between epilimnion and hypolimnion. 4. Neonates stayed continuously at the surface, taking advantage of the higher temperature, possibly because feeding was less important for them because of egg yolk reserves. In contrast, egg‐bearing females spent more time feeding in the hypolimnion when the temperature gradient was weak, but also migrated into the epilimnion to take advantage of the higher temperature. In the steepest temperature gradient, the egg‐bearing females either shifted between epilimnion and hypolimnion, or dwelled constantly in the metalimnion with intermediate conditions.  相似文献

The pelagic amphipod, Hyalella montezuma, migrates vertically into the surface waters at twilight in Montezuma Well, Arizona, USA despite the absence of fish predators or thermal stratification. We suggest that a persistent, dense, neustonic algal assemblage may provide a food resource incentive for the twilight ascent.  相似文献

Lake Sempach, located in the central part of Switzerland, has a surface area of 14 km2, a maximum depth of 87 m and a water residence time of 15 years. Restoration measures to correct historic eutrophication, including artificial mixing and oxygenation of the hypolimnion, were implemented in 1984. By means of the combination of external and internal load reductions, total phosphorus concentrations decreased in the period 1984–2000 from 160 to 42 mg P m–3. Starting from 1997, hypolimnion oxygenation with pure oxygen was replaced by aeration with fine air bubbles. The reaction of the plankton has been investigated as part of a long-term monitoring program. Taxa numbers, evenness and biodiversity of phytoplankton increased significantly during the last 15 years, concomitant with a marked decline of phosphorus concentration in the lake. Seasonal development of phytoplankton seems to be strongly influenced by the artificial mixing during winter and spring and by changes of the trophic state. Dominance of nitrogen fixing cyanobacteria (Aphanizomenon sp.), causing a severe fish kill in 1984, has been correlated with lower N/P-ratio in the epilimnion. Buoyant algae such as Planktothrix rubescens (syn. Oscillatoria rubescens) increased in abundance due to enlargement of the trophogenic layer and extended mixing depth during winter. The interactions between zoo- and phytoplankton seemed to be depressed as a result of restoration measures. Zooplankton composition changed to more carnivorous and less herbivorous species. Oxygenation of the hypolimnion induced bioturbation of sediments, mainly by oligochaetae worms, and stimulated germination of spores and cysts and hatching of resting eggs.  相似文献

1. The vertical distribution of Daphnia in stratified lakes strongly depends on the depth profiles of temperature and food resources. However, ecological requirements for these factors are slightly different for juvenile and adult Daphnia. 2. Here, I investigated whether food quality influences the habitat selection of Daphnia pulicaria at night and whether the habitat selection of juvenile and adult D. pulicaria is different. Daphnia were allowed to choose their optimal habitat in large, stratified water columns (plankton towers, Plön) that held either the green alga Scenedesmus obliquus (high quality) in the cold hypolimnion (Hypo‐treatment) or S. obliquus in the warm epi‐ and cold hypolimnion (SCEN‐treatment) or the non‐toxic cyanobacterium Synechococcus elongatus (low quality) in the warm epilimnion and S. obliquus in the cold hypolimnion (SYN treatment). 3. When food (S. obliquus) was present only in the hypolimnion (Hypo‐treatment), juveniles and adults distributed similarly in the water column and spent most of their time in the interface between the warm and the food rich layer. 4. When food was present in the epilimnion and hypolimnion (SCEN‐ and SYN‐treatments), juvenile and adult D. pulicaria moved into the warm and now also food‐rich epilimnion, however, the magnitude of this shift depended on the food type and age class of Daphnia. Adult and juvenile D. pulicaria spent most of their time in the epilimnion when food there was of a high quality (S. obliquus; SCEN‐treatment). However, compared to the juveniles, adult Daphnia spent significantly more time in the colder hypolimnion when epilimnetic food was of a low quality (S. elongatus; SYN‐treament). 5. Therefore, habitat selection of adult D. pulicaria was affected by food quality whereas the habitat selection of juveniles was not. 6. Additional growth and reproduction experiments show that the food quality is likely to be responsible for the different habitat selection of juveniles and adults in the SYN‐treatment. 7. In conclusion, my experiments show that D. pulicaria behaviourally reacts to the quality of its food source.  相似文献

Mirogrex terrae-sanctae is a commercial, sardine-like cyprinid fish in the Sea of Galilee. The fish spawns from December to the end of March. Females collected at the quiescent phase of the cycle (June) were exposed to four combinations of photoperiod and temperature for 3 months. The highest GSI (2.44 ± 0.22) was found in females exposed to simulated winter conditions (16°C, 9L) while the lowest GSI (0.65 ± 0.04) was found in fish exposed to simulated summer conditions (27°C, 14L). The GSI of fish maintained at the unnatural combination of 16°C, 14L (1.30 ± 0.09) did not differ from that of fish maintained at the other unnatural combination of 27°C, 9L (1.07 ± 0.11). However, histological examinations revealed that vitellogenic oocytes were present only in fish maintained at low temperature regimes, which implies that the growth of the ovarian mass in the 27°C, 9L group was due mainly to oogonial proliferation and that vitellogenesis was inhibited in Mirogrex at a high temperature. Both protein and calcium concentrations increased in the serum of fish following injections of oestradiol-17β. The increase of calcium was evident only in the non-filtrable (bound) fraction, suggesting that the total serum calcium above 13 mg% could be used as an indirect parameter for circulating vitelloprotein. Fish collected at the quiescent phase were injected with oestradiol (50 μg/fish c. 15 g body weight) and subsequently transferred to tanks maintained at either 12°, 20° or 27°C. The total serum calcium increased to 23.0 ± 1.75 mg% in the fish maintained for 8 days at 20°C. This was significantly higher than the concentration of calcium in the serum of fish maintained at either 12°C (7.8 ± 0.52) or 27°C(l1.8 ± 0.77). This implies that the temperature may affect ovarian recrudescence by modulating the response of the liver to oestrogen, allowing the oestrogen-induced vitellogenesis to be relatively high in the cool environment during winter.  相似文献
