提出了具有空间自相关残差的多变量回归问题,这种残差包括单点、局部和区域化三种尺度.文中提出了两种处理空间自相关的方法:把自相关加入残差协方差作参数的改进估计──相邻相关方法和把残差作区域化最优自相关估计──一般空间自相关方法.用森林对舞毒蛾危害敏感性概率的大范围估计为例,比较了传统回归方法和本文方法间的差异,交叉检验结果表明本文的方法明显优于直接回归方法,这说明加入空间自相关对空间回归问题是必要的.  相似文献

Abstract. With sampled field data, the accuracy of delineation of ecotones is directly related to the resolution of the data (i.e. spatial and measurement type) and to the edge detection algorithm used. In the present study the reliability is investigated of an edge detection algorithm (lattice-wombling) to delimit vegetation boundaries when different spatial resolutions (quadrat sizes) are used. To quantify whether the edge detection algorithm is robust, it was applied to data from woody species in a second-growth woodland measured at different spatial resolutions with different data types. Boundaries were found at similar locations using any reasonable quadrat size (ca. 200 m2) but there were some slight differences when using different vegetation measures (density versus presence/absence data).  相似文献

Aim To analyse the effects of simultaneously using spatial and phylogenetic information in removing spatial autocorrelation of residuals within a multiple regression framework of trait analysis. Location Switzerland, Europe. Methods We used an eigenvector filtering approach to analyse the relationship between spatial distribution of a trait (flowering phenology) and environmental covariates in a multiple regression framework. Eigenvector filters were calculated from ordinations of distance matrices. Distance matrices were either based on pure spatial information, pure phylogenetic information or spatially structured phylogenetic information. In the multiple regression, those filters were selected which best reduced Moran's I coefficient of residual autocorrelation. These were added as covariates to a regression model of environmental variables explaining trait distribution. Results The simultaneous provision of spatial and phylogenetic information was effectively able to remove residual autocorrelation in the analysis. Adding phylogenetic information was superior to adding purely spatial information. Applying filters showed altered results, i.e. different environmental predictors were seen to be significant. Nevertheless, mean annual temperature and calcareous substrate remained the most important predictors to explain the onset of flowering in Switzerland; namely, the warmer the temperature and the more calcareous the substrate, the earlier the onset of flowering. A sequential approach, i.e. first removing the phylogenetic signal from traits and then applying a spatial analysis, did not provide more information or yield less autocorrelation than simple or purely spatial models. Main conclusions The combination of spatial and spatio‐phylogenetic information is recommended in the analysis of trait distribution data in a multiple regression framework. This approach is an efficient means for reducing residual autocorrelation and for testing the robustness of results, including the indication of incomplete parameterizations, and can facilitate ecological interpretation.  相似文献

The geographic covariation of the eastern cottonwood Populus deltoides with three different gallforming aphids in the genus Pemphigus is studied over eastern North America. Ten vegetative Populus characters were analyzed together with 32 stem mother, slate und gall dimension characters in Pemphigus populicaulis und in two morphs of P. populitransversus. The number of locality samples studied ranges from 56 to 157. The covariation between host und parasite characters was examined by correlation analysis und canonical correlations und shown to be slight. Multiple regressions of factor scores of Pemphigus variables on Populus characters show relatively low percentages of explained variance und few significant partial regression coefficients. Spatial autocorrelation analyses of Pemphigus factor scores und of their residuals on Populus variables demonstrated largely independent spatial structure of the two sets of variables. These findings were confirmed by multiple Mantel tests of distance matrices based on cottonwood und aphid phenetics und on geography. The undoubtedly close Pemphigus-Populus coevolution over geological time is not reflected in the microevolutionary variation over geographic space. Possible esplanations for these surprising findings are discussed.  相似文献

A simulation study is reported in which the effect of positive and negative autocorrelation on the quantiles of Student's t-test variable is investigated. It is shown that negative autocorrelations lead to smaller quantiles. Positive autocorrelations lead to larger quantiles.  相似文献

Multiunit or single unit activity recorded simultaneously from frontal cortex (FC) and locus coeruleus (LC) under ketamine anesthesia revealed that both regions show slow oscillatory activity, together or separately. If, however, both regions are engaged in this oscillatory activity, there is a systematic relationship between their phases with peak LC firing always following FC firing by 200–400 ms. This was confirmed by cross-correlational analyses, which indicated that the two structures temporarily form a resonant system. The FC-LC resonant state is, however, loose enough to remain open to other intrinsic or extrinsic influences, keeping the measured frequencies of oscillations at each site slightly different, as demonstrated by a delailed analysis of the autocorrelograms. An injection of lidocaine at the frontal cortex site, while sharply reducing the prefrontal activity to essentially zero, leads to an increase of the LC activity and to a modification of the shape of the LC autocorrelogram, but does not change appreciably the phase relationship between the activity in the two structures during the diminishing activity in FC.  相似文献

The aims of this study of spatial patterns of human gene frequencies in Europe are twofold. One is to present new methodology developed for the analysis of such data. The other is to report on the diversity of spatial patterns observed in Europe and their interpretation as evidence of population processes. Spatial variation in 59 allele and haplotype frequencies (26 genetic systems) for polymorphisms in blood antigens, enzymes, and proteins is analyzed for an aggregate of 3,384 localities, using homogeneity tests, one-dimensional and directional spatial correlograms, and SYMAP interpolated surfaces. The data matrices are reduced to reveal the principal patterns by clustering techniques. The findings of this study can be summarized as follows: 1) There is significant heterogeneity in allele frequencies among the localities for all but one genetic system. 2) There are significant spatial patterns for most allele frequencies. 3) There is a substantial minority of clinal patterns in these populations. Clinal trends are found more frequently in HLA alleles than for other variables. North-south and northwest-southwest gradients predominate. 4) There is a strong decline in overall genetic similarity with geographic distance for most variables. 5) There are few, if any, appreciable correlations in pairs of allele frequencies over the continent, and there is little interesting correlation structure in the resulting correlation matrix. 6) Few spatial correlograms are markedly similar to each other, yet they form well-defined clusters. Spatial variation patterns, therefore, differ among allele frequencies. Patterns of human gene frequencies in modern Europe are diverse and complex. No single model suffices for interpretation of the observed genetic structure. Some clinal patterns reported here support the Neolithic demic-expansion hypothesis, others suggest latitudinal selection. Most of the clinal patterns are in HLA alleles, but there is also evidence from ABO for east-west migration diffusion. The majority of patterns are patchy, consistent with hypotheses of isolation by distance or of settlement of genetically differing, subsequently expanding ethnic groups. While undoubtedly there has been an ongoing stochastic process of differentiation consistent with the isolation-by-distance model, this has not obscured the directional patterns caused by migration (demic diffusion), and has perhaps only reinforced the contribution from settlement of ethnic units to patterns of genetic variation. However, the impact of the latter is most difficult to discern and requires further methodological developments.  相似文献

应用空间自相关分析方法对中国栗疫病菌17个居群RAPD遗传变异的空间结构进行研究,以探讨栗疫病菌居群遗传变异的分布特征及其形成机制。结果表明:中国栗疫病菌居群缺乏空间结构,绝大多数RAPD位点变异为随机分布的空间模式,但部分位点表现出渐变、斑块和双向渐变的非随机分布模式,又显示了一定的空间结构。推测其形成原因可能是长距离的基因流、人类活动、地理隔离以及栗疫病菌本身的繁殖特性综合作用的结果,并依据部分位点呈单向渐变的模式推测西南地区为中国栗疫病菌的起源中心。  相似文献

以地统计学的半变异函数为分析工具,分析了黄土高原丘陵沟壑区小流域土壤水分在垂直方向的空间变异特征以及土地利用类型和地形等因子对其的影响.结果表明:1)球状模型可以很好地拟合土壤水分在垂直方向的半变异函数曲线,其存在强烈或中等程度的空间自相关,变程范围从2~5 m不等;2)果园对土壤水分含量的影响主要表现在1~2 m深度,5月份含量最高,且分布均匀,8月份由于气温和叶面蒸腾作用,水分含量最低.坡耕地和梯田的水分含量都较高,垂直变化不明显,梯田的土壤水分含量最低月份是9月,比坡耕地晚1个月,这是因为所种作物的主要生长季节为9月份,这期间消耗水分较多而造成的.林地由于根系发达,对土壤水分垂直方向的变化的影响比较大,变化为先增大、再减小、最后再增大且分布趋于平缓.灌木林的土壤水分含量整体较低,主要变化深度范围集中在0~2 m;草地的土壤水分含量较高,垂直变化的深度范围集中在1 m以内;3)坡度、坡向地形因子和土壤水分的垂直方向变异特征没有呈现明显的相关性.  相似文献

Evidence is accumulating that bone material stiffness increases during ontogeny, and the role of elastic modulus in conditioning attributes of strength and toughness is therefore a focus of ongoing investigation. Developmental changes in structural properties of the primate mandible have been documented, but comparatively little is known about changes in material heterogeneity and their impact on biomechanical behavior. We examine a cross‐sectional sample of Macaca fascicularis (N = 14) to investigate a series of hypotheses that collectively evaluate whether the patterning of material stiffness (elastic modulus) heterogeneity in the mandible differs among juvenile, subadult and adult individuals. Because differences in age‐related activity patterns are known to influence bone stiffness and strength, these data are potentially useful for understanding the relationship between feeding behavior on the one hand and material and structural properties of the mandible on the other. Elastic modulus is shown to be spatially dependent regardless of age, with this dependence being explicable primarily by differences in alveolar versus basal cortical bone. Elastic modulus does not differ consistently between buccal and lingual cortical plates, despite likely differences in the biomechanical milieu of these regions. Since we found only weak support for the hypothesis that the spatial patterning of heterogeneity becomes more predictable with age, accumulated load history may not account for regional differences in bone material properties in mature individuals with respect to the mandibular corpus. Body size is a major component of fitness. However, the relative contributions of different factors to optimal size, and the determinants of spatial and temporal variation in size, have not been fully established empirically. Here, we use a mesocosm of a Drosophilidae assemblage inhabiting decaying nectarines to investigate the influence of spatial variation in temperature on adult body size in Drosophila simulans Sturtevant. Two treatments were established; one in the sun where developing larvae were exposed to high temperatures and the other in the shade where temperature conditions were milder. The simple developmental effects of temperature differences (i.e. larger flies are likely to emerge from cooler environments), or the simple effects of stressful temperatures (i.e. high temperatures yield wing abnormalities and smaller flies), were overridden by interactive effects between temperature and larval density. Emergences were lower in the sun than shade, probably as a result of temperature-induced mortality. However, flies attained the same final sizes in the shade and sun. In addition, abnormally winged flies were clustered in the shaded treatments. In the shade treatments, where emergences were higher than in the sun, stressful conditions as a result of high larval density likely resulted in wing abnormalities and small size. Consequently, there was little spatial variation in size across the mesocosm, but substantial spatial variation in abundance. Under natural conditions both mortality and non-lethal effects of temperature and/or crowding are likely to play a role in the evolution of body size.  相似文献
