Based on the study of the neotype and the astogeny of the type specimens of the species Ascopora nodosa (Fischer von Waldheim, 1837), the diagnosis and species composition of the genus Ascopora Trautschold, 1876 are emended. The genus Ascopora and three species out of the five included in this genus—A. nodosa (Fischer von Waldheim, 1837); A. sokolovae Schulga-Nesterenko, 1955; and A. latiaxis Schulga-Nesterenko, 1955—are described. A new genus, Tetrasella gen. nov., with the type species T. blanda sp. nov. is described. This genus comprises five species, transferred from the composition of the genus Ascopora. An emended diagnosis of the genus Ascoporella Krutchinina, 1986, is provided. This genus comprises nine species, of which two, A. lecta sp. nov. and A. mera sp. nov., are described as new species.  相似文献

Five new species, Petrobius caucasicus sp. n., Trigoniophthalmus presimplex sp. n., T. divnogorski sp. n., T. kislovodski sp. n., and T. adigei sp. n. (Machilidae), are described from the Caucasus. A key to all the known species of the genus Trigoniophthalmus is given. Two subgenera (Trigoniophthalmus s. str., Trigoniocellus subgen. n.) in the genus Trigoniophthalmus are described. 2 + 2 retractile vesicles are present on abdominal segments II–IV in the species of Trigoniocellus subgen. n. and on II–V abdominal segments in Trigoniophthalmus s. str. Analysis of the evolution and phylogenetic relations between the species of the genus Trigoniophthalmus is performed for the first time. The formation of bristletails of the genus Trigoniophthalmus appears to occur in the Caucasian mountain province of the European area, from where they penetrated to the Central European mixed province and the Mediterranean subarea. Among the described species of the genus, T. kislovodski is distinguished by the greatest number of plesiomorphic states of morphological characters.  相似文献

Summary  A taxonomic revision of the palm genus Podococcus (Arecaceae) is presented. Two species are recognised: P. barteri, a species relatively widespread in a coastal band from Nigeria to the D. R. Congo and P. acaulis, a species previously considered conspecific to P. barteri, almost exclusively confined to Gabon. The taxonomic history, morphology, distribution and conservation status of the genus and each species are discussed  相似文献

The only two species of Choiromyces collected up to now in Spain, C. venosus and C. magnusii, were studied with both morphological and molecular methods. Phylogenetic inference of nrDNA ITS and LSU sequences showed that they should be considered independent species in the genus Choiromyces. Choiromyces venosus is a hypogeous fungus, infrequent but naturally present in the Iberian Peninsula, that is imported into Spain from central Europe without any indication of its origin or proper taxonomic identification. It is usually sold as highly-prized edible species of the genus Tuber such as T. magnatum. Choiromyces magnusii is a more frequent hypogeous fungus in Spain that is commercialized in spring on a local scale together with different species in the genus Terfezia. Additionally, the Australian species Reddellomyces westraliensis, which was introduced with Eucalyptus camaldulensis plantations, is cited here for the first time in Spain and Europe.  相似文献

We analysed the phylogenetic and phylogeographic relationships of four Mediterranean species of the rare slave-making ant genus Chalepoxenus and eleven of its about 20 Temnothorax host species by sequencing the mitochondrial Cytochrome Oxidase I and II genes. Neighbour-Joining, Maximum Parsimony and Bayesian analyses based on 1320 bp indicate that the genus Chalepoxenus constitutes a monophylum. In all three analyses, C. kutteri from Southwest Europe and the workerless, “degenerate slavemaker” C. brunneus from North Africa form a monophyletic group. C. muellerianus and C. tauricus, distributed in Southern Europe and Ukraine, respectively, form a monophylum in the Neighbour-Joining and the Maximum Parsimony analysis. In our limited set of only 11 of several hundred Temnothorax species, T. flavicornis forms the sister group of Chalepoxenus. Our study further indicates paraphyly of the genus Temnothorax with respect to Chalepoxenus. Moreover, the results suggest that speciation in this slave-making genus is possibly caused by the formation of host races as different Chalepoxenus species use different hosts, and some samples seem to cluster by host species rather than by geographical distance. Genetic hybridization analysis was conducted with 16 natural Zygowilliopsis strains isolated in different geographical regions and maintained in collections under species names Z. californica, Hansenula dimennae, and Pichia populi. Genetic relatedness was determined on the basis of mating, viability of hybrid progeny, and meiotic recombination of markers. Four new biological species are recognized in the former monotypic genus Zygowilliopsis. Species Z. californica and Zygowiliopsis sp. 3 probably include divergent geographical populations. It is necessary to reconsider the species composition of the genus Zygowiliopsis and generic assignment of P. populi yeasts. Genetic and molecular identifications of the Zygowiliopsis species are in perfect agreement.  相似文献

Taxonomic revision of fish of the genus Liparis (Liparidae, Scorpaeniformes), whose species inhabit the shelves of the seas of the northern hemisphere, is performed on the basis of a a large collection of material. It is established that the genus, which includes 71 species, represents a monophyletic group. The classification of the genus is elaborated, providing justification of its separation into five subgenera: Neoliparis Steindachner, 1876; Lyoliparis Jordan et Evermann, 1896; Liparis Scopoli, 1777; Lycocara Gill, 1884; and Careliparis Garman, 1892. Keys to species and species groups are provided.  相似文献

The history of the taxonomy and classification of the Famennian genus Praeglyphioceras Wedekind, 1908 and the family Praeglyphioceratidae are discussed. The sutural ontogeny of this genus, which is examined for the first time for two species of the genus, supports the high taxonomic rank of praeglyphioceratids. This family is mostly related to primitive Prionoceratoidea. A new species, Praeglyphioceras korobkovi sp. nov., is described from the delphinus Zone (Prolobites-Platyclymenia Genozone) of the Aktyubinsk Region of Kazakhstan.  相似文献

Background

The genus Arachis comprises 80 species and it is subdivided into nine taxonomic sections (Arachis, Caulorrhizae, Erectoides, Extranervosae, Heteranthae, Procumbentes, Rhizomatosae, Trierectoides, and Triseminatae). This genus is naturally confined to South America and most of its species are native to Brazil. In order to provide a better understanding of the evolution of the genus, we reconstructed the phylogeny of 45 species using the variation observed on nucleotide sequences in internal transcribed spacer regions (ITS1 and ITS2) and 5.8 S of nuclear ribosomal DNA.  相似文献

Recent collections and the type specimen of Marasmiellus juniperinus, the type species of the genus, were examined. Phylogenetic placement, based on ribosomal large subunit (LSU) and internally transcribed spacer (ITS) sequences, is within the lentinuloid clade, nested among Gymnopus taxa. This placement dictates genus name usage and phylogenetic position of other putative species of Marasmiellus. The mating system is tetrapolar.  相似文献

Hylarana is a well established frog genus coming under the family Ranidae. An increasing number of antimicrobial peptides have been isolated and characterized from the skin of frogs of this genus. This review covers the antimicrobial peptides reported so far from the frogs of Hylarana genus and to propose a consistent system of nomenclature for amphibian skin peptides. Multiple sequence alignment of the skin peptides from Hylarana genus has grouped them into six peptide families, and three bioactive peptides. Existing nomenclature of amphibian antimicrobial peptides is species centered with no implication to the genus which can lead to disparities, when frogs with same species name belonging to different genus have to be named. As per the proposed system the peptide should have the parent peptide name (e.g. Brevinin-1) followed by two uppercase letter of the genus, if two genera begin with the same letter–first letter should be the same followed by an appropriate second letter (e.g. HU for Huia and HM for Humenerana). This is succeeded by species name in lower case-orthologous peptides from different species may be characterized by the initial letter of that species, when two species begin with the same initial letter, second letter should be used appropriately (e.g. HLat for Hylarana aurata and HLan for Hylarana aurantiaca). Paralogs belonging to the same peptide family are assigned by numbers.  相似文献
