Gundlachia, a genus of shrubs occurring in the Caribbean islands, is treated as comprising two species, one of which has six varieties. Five new combinations are made: Gundlachia corymbosa var. apiculata (Britton & S. F. Blake) M. A. Lane, G. corymbosa var. compacta (Urb. & Ekman) M. A. Lane, G. corymbosa var. cubana (Britton & S. F. Blake) M. A. Lane, G. corymbosa var. foliosa (Britton & S. F. Blake) M. A. Lane, and G. corymbosa var. ocoana (Urb. & Ekman) M. A. Lane. Gundlachia is probably most closely related to Gymnosperma.  相似文献

Three species of the snakefly genus Inocellia Schneider, 1843 (Raphidioptera: Inocelliidae) are reported from the Hengduan Mountains in southwestern China. Among them, Inocellia yulongensis sp. nov. is described as new to science. Inocellia cheni Liu, H. Aspöck, Yang & U. Aspöck, 2010 is first recorded from Sichuan Province based on a newly collected male from a locality over 4200 m a.s.l. Inocellia obtusangularis Liu, H. Aspöck, Yang & U. Aspöck, 2010 is first recorded from Yunnan Province. The rich species diversity of snakeflies and its biogeographic significance from the Hengduan Mountains are discussed.  相似文献

A new cicada genus, Cantata Lee & Pham gen. nov., is erected in the subtribe Aolina Boulard, 2012, with the designations of Cantata phiaoacensis Lee & Pham sp. nov. as its type species. This new genus is morphologically similar to Meimuna Distant, 1905 but distinguished from Meimuna mainly by the absence of the extended base of uncus, the presence of the basal lobe of male pygofer, the shape of the uncal lobes, and the presence of the fore wing infuscations. Cantata phiaoacensis Lee & Pham sp. nov. is described from Phia Oac – Phia Den National Park, Cao Bang province in northern Vietnam. A distribution map and biological data for Cantata phiaoacensis are provided. A key to the genera and the species groups of Aolina is provided.  相似文献

The hitherto monotypic and isolated Madagascan genus Karimbolea is redefined. One species is added to the genus and the new combination K. macrantha (Jum. & H. Perrier) Liede & Meve is provided. The unusual erect orientation of the pollinia in the type species, K. verrucosa, is interpreted as secondary shift from a pendulous position (tribe Asclepiadeae) rather than an indication for affinities with tribes characterized by erect pollinia (Stapelieae, Marsdenieae).  相似文献

Larvae of a previously undescribed gall midge species have been feeding within malformed flower buds of goji berry Lycium barbarum L. (Solanaceae) in China, preventing fruit development and causing damage to the fruit industry. The new species is named Gephyraulus lycantha Jiao & Kolesik, its morphology is described, the COI mitochondrial gene segment is sequenced, and the biology is outlined. In order to taxonomically accommodate the new gall midge, the scope of the genus Gephyraulus is broadened and now encompasses also species that lack dorso-apical sensoria on the female cercus.LSID: urn:lsid:zoobank.org:pub:17B243CF-5235-405B-AA60-8E872C848367.  相似文献

Two nomenclatural changes are proposed in the tribe Athysanini (Cicadellidae: Deltocephalinae). Chlorotettix sexvarus DeLong, 1959, is newly placed in the genus Cocrassana Blocker & Larsen and is a senior synonym of the type species of Cocrassana, C. riepmai Blocker & Larsen, 1991, syn. nov. A revised diagnosis and illustration of the species are provided.  相似文献

The genus ErulipusFairmaire, 1903 (previously in the subfamily Tenebrioninae, tribe Helopini), after the study of the type species (Erulipus fruhstorferiFairmaire, 1903), is transferred to the genus AinuLewis, 1894 (subfamily Stenochiinae, the tribe Cnodalonini) as a subgenus. Consequently, two new combinations are established: Ainu (Erulipus) fruhstorferi (Fairmaire, 1903), comb. nov. and Ainu (s. str.) multicolor (Pic, 1927), comb. nov. The syntypes of Erulipus fruhstorferi and Erulipus multicolorPic, 1927 are studied and the new synonym is proposed: Erulipus fruhstorferi?=?Ainu grandisRen and Yuan, 2005, syn. nov. Two new species are described from China: Ainu linwenxini Nabozhenko & Ren, sp. nov. (Taiwan) and Ainu basifemoratum Nabozhenko & Ren, sp. nov. (Yunnan). Both the new species are closely related to A. sichuanumRen and Yuan, 2015.  相似文献

A total of 41 species were investigated, including only one species in the check list of Korean insects, which contains five platygastrids. Eleven species of the family Platygastridae are described as new to science from Korea, viz. Allostemma bicolor Buhl & Choi, Amblyaspis koreana Choi & Buhl, Leptacis koreana Buhl & Choi, L. ocellaris Choi & Buhl, Platygaster ciliata Buhl & Choi, P. flavifemorata Buhl & Choi, P. kui Choi & Buhl, P. tripotini Buhl & Choi, Synopeas collinus Choi & Buhl, S. kimi Choi & Buhl, and S. pumilus Buhl & Choi. Further nineteen species are recorded from The Korean Peninsula for the first time, and some new records are added for eleven species, already known from the Peninsula. Keys are given to the genera and species of Platygastridae hitherto recorded from The Korean Peninsula. As a result, platygastrid fauna of The Korean Peninsula is composed of 68 species up to now.  相似文献
