The role of lipids in maintaining ligand binding properties of affinity-purified bovine striatal dopamine D2 receptor was investigated in detail. The receptor, purified on a haloperidol-linked Sepharose CL6B affinity column, exhibited low [3H]spiroperidol binding unless reconstituted with soybean phospholipids. In order to understand the role of individual phospholipids in maintaining the receptor binding activity, the purified preparation was reconstituted separately with individual phospholipids and assayed for [3H]spiroperidol binding. Except for phosphatidylcholine and phosphatidylethanolamine, that respectively restored 30 and 20% binding as compared to that obtained with soybean lipids, reconstitution with other lipids had very little effect. When various combinations of phospholipids were used for reconstitution, a phosphatidylcholine and phosphatidylserine mixture seemed to almost fully restore the receptor binding. A mixture of phosphatidylcholine and phosphatidylethanolamine was as effective as phosphatidylcholine alone in reconstituting ligand binding; however, when phosphatidylserine was also included in the mixture, there was a pronounced increase in binding (about 2-fold compared to the soybean lipids and about 6-fold compared to the phosphatidylcholine-phosphatidylethanolamine mixture). Substitution of other phospholipids or cholesterol for phosphatidylserine in phosphatidylcholine and phosphatidylethanolamine mixture had little effect. Maximal reconstitution of [3H]spiroperidol binding was obtained with phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylethanolamine and phosphatidylserine mixture (2:2:1, w/w) at a concentration of 0.5 mg/ml. The reconstituted receptor exhibited high affinity binding for [3H]spiroperidol which was comparable to that obtained with membrane or solubilized preparations. Various dopaminergic antagonists and agonists showed appropriate order of potency for the reconstituted receptor. The presently described reconstitution data suggest a role of specific phospholipids in preserving the binding properties of dopamine D2 receptor and should prove useful in studies on functional reconstitution of the receptor.  相似文献

The capacity of the plasma-derived lipid transfer protein to facilitate the transfer of various cholesteryl ester species has been investigated. Four different molecular species of cholesteryl ester were incorporated into either reconstituted high density lipoproteins or phosphatidylcholine liposomes, and the resulting particles were used as donors in standardized lipid transfer assays. With reconstituted high density lipoproteins as substrate, the rate of transfer of cholesteryl esters was cholesteryl oleate greater than cholesteryl linoleate greater than cholesteryl arachidonate greater than cholesteryl palmitate. The transfer rate for cholesteryl oleate was 154% of that for cholesteryl palmitate. Liposome substrates gave similar results. It is concluded that lipid transfer protein transfers all major species of cholesteryl ester found in plasma; however, the relative rates of transfer were significantly affected by acyl chain composition. The transfer rates appeared to reflect substrate specificity rather than substrate availability within the donor particle.  相似文献

The effects of phospholipid acyl chain length (n(c)), degree of acyl chain saturation, and cholesterol on Na,K-ATPase reconstituted into liposomes of defined lipid composition are described. The optimal acyl chain length of monounsaturated phosphatidylcholine in the absence of cholesterol was found to be 22 but decreased to 18 in the presence of 40 mol % cholesterol. This indicates that the hydrophobic matching of the lipid bilayer and the transmembrane hydrophobic core of the membrane protein is a crucial parameter in supporting optimal Na,K-ATPase activity. In addition, the increased bilayer order induced by both cholesterol and saturated phospholipids could be important for the conformational mobility of the Na,K-ATPase changing the distribution of conformations. Lipid fluidity was important for several parameters of reconstitution, e.g., the amount of protein inserted and the orientation in the liposomes. The temperature dependence of the Na,K-ATPase as well of the Na-ATPase reactions depends both on phospholipid acyl chain length and on cholesterol. Cholesterol increased significantly both the enthalpy of activation and entropy of activation for Na,K-ATPase activity and Na-ATPase activity of Na,K-ATPase reconstituted with monounsaturated phospholipids. In the presence of cholesterol the free energy of activation was minimum at a lipid acyl chain length of 18, the same that supported maximum turnover. In the case of ATPase reconstituted without cholesterol, the minimum free energy of activation and the maximum turnover both shifted to longer acyl chain lengths of about 22.  相似文献

Anammox bacteria that are capable of anaerobically oxidizing ammonium (anammox) with nitrite to nitrogen gas produce unique membrane phospholipids that comprise hydrocarbon chains with three or five linearly condensed cyclobutane rings. To gain insight into the biophysical properties of these ‘ladderane’ lipids, we have isolated a ladderane phosphatidylcholine and a mixed ladderane phosphatidylethanolamine/phosphatidylglycerol lipid fraction and reconstituted these lipids in different membrane environments. Langmuir monolayer experiments demonstrated that the purified ladderane phospholipids form fluid films with a relatively high lipid packing density. Fluid-like behavior was also observed for ladderane lipids in bilayer systems as monitored by cryo-electron microscopy on large unilamellar vesicles (LUVs) and epi-fluorescence microscopy on giant unilamellar vesicles (GUVs). Analysis of the LUVs by fluorescence depolarization revealed a relatively high acyl chain ordering in the hydrophobic region of the ladderane phospholipids. Micropipette aspiration experiments were applied to study the mechanical properties of ladderane containing lipid bilayers and showed a relatively high apparent area compressibility modulus for ladderane containing GUVs, thereby confirming the fluid and acyl chain ordered characteristics of these lipids. The biophysical findings in this study support the previous postulation that dense membranes in anammox cells protect these microbes against the highly toxic and volatile anammox metabolites.  相似文献

Functional reconstitution of the glycine receptor   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
The functional reconstitution of the chloride channel coupled glycine receptor is described. Glycine receptors were purified from the cholate extract of rat spinal cord membranes by affinity chromatography and incorporated into phospholipid vesicles by the addition of phosphatidylcholine and removal of detergent by gel filtration. The reconstituted vesicles showed the same polypeptide composition as the purified receptor (proteins of Mr 48,000 and 58,000). The pharmacological characteristics of the glycine receptor were also preserved in the proteoliposomes, as demonstrated by the displacement of [3H]strychnine binding by several glycinergic ligands and by photoaffinity labeling experiments. In order to observe functional responses (i.e., specific agonist-induced anion translocation), we have developed an assay based on the fluorescence quenching of an anion-sensitive entrapped probe, SPQ [6-methoxy-N-(3-sulfopropyl)quinolinium]. Reconstituted vesicles were loaded with the fluorescent probe during a freeze-thaw-sonication cycle in the presence of added liposomes containing cholesterol. In such a reconstituted system, glycine receptor agonists are able to increase the rate of anion influx into the vesicles. The action of agonists is blocked by the simultaneous presence of strychnine or other glycine antagonists. Our results show that the purified 48,000- and 58,000-dalton polypeptides reconstituted into phospholipid vesicles can bind ligands and promote specific ion translocation in a way similar to the glycine receptor in its native environment.  相似文献

We have developed a novel alpha-helical peptide antibiotic termed NK-2. It efficiently kills bacteria, but not human cells, by membrane destruction. This selectivity could be attributed to the different membrane lipid compositions of the target cells. To understand the mechanisms of selectivity and membrane destruction, we investigated the influence of NK-2 on the supramolecular aggregate structure, the phase transition behavior, the acyl chain fluidity, and the surface charges of phospholipids representative for the bacterial and the human cell cytoplasmic membranes. The cationic NK-2 binds to anionic phosphatidylglycerol liposomes, causing a thinning of the membrane and an increase in the phase transition temperature. However, this interaction is not solely of electrostatic but also of hydrophobic nature, indicated by an overcompensation of the Zeta potential. Whereas NK-2 has no effect on phosphatidylcholine liposomes, it enhances the fluidity of phosphatidylethanolamine acyl chains and lowers the phase transition enthalpy of the gel to liquid cristalline transition. The most dramatic effect, however, was observed for the lamellar/inverted hexagonal transition of phosphatidylethanolamine which was reduced by more than 10 degrees C. Thus, NK-2 promotes a negative membrane curvature which can lead to the collapse of the phosphatidylethanolamine-rich bacterial cytoplasmic membrane.  相似文献

The effect of the bacterial cytolytic toxin, streptolysin S, on liposomes composed of various phospholipids was investigated. Large unilamellar vesicles containing [14C]sucrose were prepared by reverse-phase evaporation, and membrane damage produced by the toxin was measured by following the release of labeled marker. The net charge of the liposomes had little or no effect on their susceptibility to steptolysin S and the toxin was about equally effective on liposomes composed of phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylethanolamine, phosphatidylserine and phosphatidylglycerol. Experiments with liposomes composed of synthetic phospholipids showed that the ability of the toxin to produce membrane damage depended on the degree of unsaturation of the fatty acyl chains. The order of sensitivity was C18 : 2 phosphatidylcholine > C18 : 1 phosphatidylcholine > C18 : 0 phosphatidylcholine = C16 : 0 phosphatidylcholine. Liposomes containing the latter two phospholipids were virtually unaffected by streptolysin S, and experiments with C18 : 0 phosphatidylcholine suggested that toxin activity does not bind to liposomes composed of phospholipids with saturated fatty acyl chains. The inclusion of 40 mol% cholesterol in C16 : 0 phosphatidylcholine and C18 : 0 phosphatidylcholine liposomes made these vesicles sensitive to streptolysin S. Egg phosphatidylcholine liposomes, which were unaffected at 0°C and 4°C became susceptible to the toxin at these temperatures when cholesterol was included. Liposomes composed of C14 : 0 phosphatidylcholine were unaffected by streptolysin S at temperatures below the chain-melting transition temperature (23°C) of this phospholipid, but became increasingly susceptible above this temperature. The results suggest that the fluidity of the phospholipid hydrocarbon chains in the membrane is important in streptolysin S action.  相似文献

The role of lipids in the function of membrane receptors for hormones and neurotransmitters is still obscure. To gain information on this subject, a delipidated receptor preparation was developed. The beta-adrenergic receptor from turkey erythrocyte membranes was solubilized in deoxycholate and was freed extensively of phospholipids and of cholesterol by gel filtration. The delipidated preparation, after removal of the detergent, showed little, if any, ligand binding to the receptor as measured with the beta-adrenergic antagonist [125I] iodocyanopindolol. Readdition of soybean lipids restored specific radioligand binding. The lipid reconstituted receptor demonstrated agonist and antagonist binding affinities which were not very different from those of the native receptor. The receptor also retained its ability to function, as demonstrated by transfer to a foreign adenylate cyclase system. The delipidated receptor preparation lent itself conveniently to study the requirement for specific lipids in restoration of agonist and antagonist binding. Phosphatidylethanolamine restored maximal binding. Acidic phospholipids and sphingomyelin were inefficient in reconstitution of the receptor. The effect of cholesterol addition was also investigated. Binding was dramatically increased when a cholesterol ester was added in mixture with the acidic phospholipids, cardiolipin or phosphatidylinositol. Further studies unexpectedly revealed that reconstitution of the delipidated receptor is not exclusively dependent on the addition of a phospholipid; a mixture of 1-monooleylglycerol with cholesteryl hemisuccinate restored binding as efficiently as phosphatidylethanolamine. The presently described preparation should be useful in elucidating the part played by lipids in the action of the receptor in the adenylate cyclase system.  相似文献

The purified (Na+ + Mg2+)-ATPase from Acholeplasma laidlawii B membranes was successfully reconstituted with a number of different phospho- and glycolipids, and the ability of these lipids to support the function of this enzyme was evaluated by their ability to increase the specific activity of the purified enzyme and by their ability to restore its lipid-phase state-dependent properties which were lost during purification. The incorporation of this ATPase into liposomes composed of the endogenous membrane lipids of the organism, or of zwitterionic phospholipids such as phosphatidylcholine or phosphatidylethanolamine, results in a full reconstitution of its activity and its lipid-phase state-dependent properties. In contrast, anionic phospholipids alone, or in combination with zwitterionic phospholipids at concentrations higher than 10 mol % of the anionic phospholipid, cause an irreversible inhibition of this ATPase. However, when combined with neutral glycolipids, larger amounts of anionic phospholipid can be tolerated without enzyme inhibition. Phosphatidylcholines with acyl chains of 14-24 linear carbon atoms and varying degrees of branching and unsaturation successfully reconstitute the enzyme, in marked contrast to the shorter chain homologues, which were ineffective. Our results indicate that the full expression of the activity of the A. laidlawii B ATPase requires a host lipid bilayer membrane of low to moderate negative surface charge which is predominantly liquid-crystalline and of a minimal bilayer thickness. Once such requirements are met, the enzyme exhibits considerable flexibility regarding the nature of the lipids which can effectively support its function. In particular, the activity of the A. laidlawii B ATPase is not very sensitive to lipid "fluidity" in the liquid-crystalline state.  相似文献

Employing high-sensitivity differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), we discovered a pretransition in binary mixtures of dimyristoyl phosphatidylcholine and dimyristoyl phosphatidylglycerol, the main feature of which is its extraordinarily high transition enthalpy of 6.3 Kcal/mol, nearly an order of magnitude higher than those values previously found for such transitions. Using DSC, deuterium nuclear magnetic resonance, and electron microscopy, it is shown that the energetic origin of this type of pretransition is caused by interactions between the phospholipids in their headgroup region. The most likely interaction involves the formation of a hydrogen bond between the headgroups of the two phospholipid species in the gel (L beta') phase which is disrupted at the transition to the "ripple" (P beta') phase. The finding that this large pretransition is unique for mixtures of phosphocholine and phosphoglycerol with myristoyl chains indicates a dependence of the headgroup long range order of such mixtures in the gel phase on the acyl chain length.  相似文献

The glucose transport system, isolated from rat adipocyte membrane fractions, was reconstituted into phospholipid vesicles. Vesicles composed of crude egg yolk phospholipids, containing primarily phosphatidylcholine (PC) and phosphatidylethanolamine (PE), demonstrated specific d-glucose uptake. Purified vesicles made of PC and PE also supported such activity but PC or PE by themselves did not. The modulation of this uptake activity has been studied by systematically altering the lipid composition of the reconstituted system with respect to: (1) polar headgroups; (2) acyl chains, and (3) charge. Addition of small amounts (20 mol%) of PS, phosphatidylinositol (PI), cholesterol, or sphingomyelin significantly reduced glucose transport activity. A similar effect was seen with the charged lipid, phosphatidic acid. In the case of PS, this effect was independent of the acyl chain composition. Polar headgroup modification of PE, however, did not appreciably affect transport activity. Free fatty acids, on the other hand, increased or decreased activity based on the degree of saturation and charge. These results indicate that glucose transport activity is sensitive to specific alterations in both the polar headgroup and acyl chain composition of the surrounding membrane lipids.  相似文献

Influence of temperature on complement-dependent immune damage to liposomes   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Maximal release of trapped liposomal glucose, in the presence of saturating amounts of liposomal antigen (galactocerebroside), antiserum (anti-galactocerebroside), and complement, was dependent on temperature. At lower temperatures (20--25 degrees C), maximal glucose release was inversely related to liposomal phospholipid fatty acyl chain length (dimyristoyl phosphatidylcholine > dipalmitoyl phosphatidylcholine > distearoyl phosphatidylcholine > sphingomyelin). At higher temperatures (32--35 degrees C) a limiting plateau of glucose release, at approx. 60%, was reached, or approached, by all preparations. Sphingomyelin liposomes still released less glucose than those prepared from other phospholipids, even at 35 degrees C. The titers of antiserum and complement (ABL50/ml and CL50/ml) were dependent on temperature, and differences based on liposomal phospholipid fatty acyl chain length were observed. Analysis of antiserum and complement-dependence on temperature, and on phospholipid type, revealed that although antibody binding to galactocerebroside undoubtedly was subject to steric hindrance due to interference by surrounding phospholipids at 20--25 degrees C, steric hindrance did not play a major role in blocking antibody binding above 32 degrees C.  相似文献

Purification and ATPase activity of human ABCA1   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3
ATP-binding cassette protein A1 (ABCA1) plays a major role in cholesterol homeostasis and high density lipoprotein metabolism. Apolipoprotein A-I binds to ABCA1 and cellular cholesterol and phospholipids, mainly phosphatidylcholine, are loaded onto apoA-I to form pre-beta high density lipoprotein (HDL). It is proposed that ABCA1 translocates phospholipids and cholesterol directly or indirectly to form pre-beta HDL. To explore the mechanism of ABCA1-mediated pre-beta HDL formation, we expressed human ABCA1 in insect Sf9 cells and purified it. Trypsin limited-digestion of purified ABCA1 in the detergent-soluble form suggested that it retained conformation similar to ABCA1 expressed in the membranes of human fibroblast WI-38 cells. Purified ABCA1 showed robust ATPase activity when reconstituted in liposomes made of synthetic phosphatidylcholine. ABCA1 showed lower ATPase activity when reconstituted in liposomes containing phosphatidylserine, phosphatidylethanolamine, or phosphatidylglycerol and also showed weak specificity in acyl chain species. ATPase activity was reduced by the addition of cholesterol and decreased by 25% in the presence of 20% cholesterol. Beta-sitosterol and campesterol showed similar inhibitory effects but stigmasterol did not, suggesting structure-specific interaction between ABCA1 and sterols. Glibenclamide suppressed ABCA1 ATPase, suggesting that it inhibits apoA-I-dependent cellular cholesterol efflux by suppressing ABCA1 ATPase activity. These results suggest that the ATPase activity of ABCA1 is stimulated preferentially by phospholipids with choline head groups, phosphatidylcholine and sphingomyelin. This study with purified human ABCA1 provides the first biochemical basis of the mechanism for HDL formation mediated by ABCA1.  相似文献

Unilamellar liposomes composed of natural phospholipids provide a new promising class of protective agents for hypothermic storage, cryopreservation, or freeze-drying of red blood cells (RBCs). In this study, FTIR spectroscopy, MALDI-TOF MS, and colorimetric assays were used to investigate the effects of liposomes composed of a homologous series of linear saturated phosphatidylcholine phospholipids (18:0; 16:0; 14:0; 12:0) on RBC membranes. RBCs were incubated with liposomes at 37°C and both the liposomal and the RBC fraction were analyzed after incubation. FTIR studies showed that liposomes composed of short acyl chain length lipids cause an increase in RBC membrane conformational disorder at suprazero temperatures, whereas long acyl chain length lipids were found to have little effects. The increased lipid conformational disorder in the RBC membranes coincided with a decrease in the cholesterol-to-phospholipid ratio. The opposite effects were found in the liposomes after incubation with RBCs. MALDI-TOF MS analysis showed the presence of short acyl chain length lipids (14:0 and 12:0) in RBC membranes after incubation, which was not observed after incubation with liposomes containing long acyl chain length lipids (18:0 and 16:0). Liposomes alter RBC membrane properties by cholesterol depletion and lipid addition.  相似文献

Protein-lipid interactions were studied by using Torpedo californica acetylcholine receptor (AChR) as a model system by reconstituting purified AChR into membranes containing various synthetic lipids and native lipids. AChR function was determined by measuring two activities at 4 degrees C: (1) low to high agonist affinity-state transition of AChR in the presence of an agonist (carbamylcholine) in either membrane fragments or sealed vesicles and (2) ion-gating activity of AChR-containing vesicles in response to carbamylcholine. Sixteen samples were examined, each containing different lipid compositions including phosphatidylcholine, cholesterol, phosphatidic acid, phosphatidylethanolamine, asolectin, neutral lipid depleted asolectin, native lipids, and cholesterol-depleted native lipids. Phosphatidylcholines with different configurations of fatty acyl chains were used. The dynamic structures of these membranes were probed by incorporating spin-labeled fatty acid into AChR-containing vesicles and measuring the order parameters. It was found that both aspects of AChR function were highly dependent on the lipid environment even though carbamylcholine binding itself was not affected. An appropriate membrane fluidity was necessarily required to allow the interconversion between the low and high affinity states of AChR. An optimal fluidity hypothesis is proposed to account for the conformational transition properties of membrane proteins. In addition, the conformational change was only a necessary, but not sufficient, condition for the AChR-mediated ion flux activity. Among membranes in which AChR manifested the affinity-state transition, only those containing both cholesterol and negatively charged phospholipids (such as phosphatidic acid) retained the ion-gating activity.  相似文献

Raman spectroscopic frequency differences between selected carbon-carbon stretching modes of lipid hydrocarbon chains were determined as a function of temperature for use in monitoring lipid phase transition behavior and acyl chain disorder in both multilamellar and single-wall vesicles. Transition temperatues detected by this procedure for pure dipalmitoyl phosphatidylcholine and dimyristoyl phosphatidylcholine multilayers were observed at 39±1 °C and 23±1 °C, respectively. Although the phase transition for unilamellar vesicles of dipalmitoyl phosphatidylcholine occurred at nearly the same temperature as the multilayers, the crystal-liquid crystalline transition for the single-shell vesicles appeared to span a slightly broader temperature range, a characteristic consistent with irregularities in the packing arrangement of the hydrocarbon chains. Within the precision of the Raman spectroscopic method, however, the temperature behavior of both the multilamellar and the unilamellar dimyristoyl phosphatidylcholine assemblies appeared nearly identical. The temperature profile for the Raman frequency differences of an excess water sonicate of 25 mol percent cholesterol in dipalmitoyl phosphatidylcholine served as an example of the effect upon lipid phase transition characteristics of a bilayer component intercalated between the acyl chains. For this particular cholesterol-lipid system the phase transition was broadened over a 30 °C temperature range, in contrast to the narrow 5?4 °C range observed for pure multilayer and single-shell vesicle particles.  相似文献

The effect of the phospholipid acyl chain carbon number on the activity of the branched-chain amino acid transport system of Lactococcus lactis has been investigated. Major fatty acids identified in a total lipid extract of L. lactis membranes are palmitic acid (16:0), oleic acid (18:1) and the cyclopropane-ring containing lactobacillic acid (19 delta). L. lactis membrane vesicles were fused with liposomes prepared from equimolar mixtures of synthetic phosphatidylethanolamine (PE) and phosphatidylcholine (PC) with cis mono-unsaturated acyl chains. The activity of the branched-chain amino acid carrier is determined by the bulk properties of the membrane (Driessen, A.J.M., Zheng, T., In 't Veld, G., Op den Kamp, J.A.F. and Konings, W.N. (1988) Biochemistry 27, 865-872). PE acts as an activator and PC is ineffective. Counterflow and protonmotive-force driven transport of leucine is sensitive to changes in the acyl chain carbon number of both phospholipids and maximal with dioleoyl-PE/dioleoyl-PC. Above the gel to liquid-crystalline phase transition temperature of the lipid species, membrane fluidity decreased with increasing acyl chain carbon number. Our data suggest that the carbon number of the acyl chains of PE and PC determine to a large extent the activity of the transport system. This might be relevant for the interaction of PE with the transport protein. Variations in the acyl chain composition of PC exert a more general effect on transport activity. The acyl chain composition of phospholipids determines the membrane thickness (Lewis, B.A. and Engelman, D.M. (1983) J. Mol. Biol. 166, 211-217). We therefore propose that the degree of matching between the lipid-bilayer and the hydrophobic thickness of the branched-chain amino acid carrier is an important parameter in lipid-protein interactions.  相似文献

We have examined the Raman scattering due to CH stretching vibrations, as well as to v(-C=C-) and v(=C-C=) of beta-carotene, of liposomes composed of phosphatidylcholine (egg, dimyristoyl, dipalmitoyl) +/- cholesterol, beta-carotene or melittin in the temperature range of -10 degrees C to 45 degrees C. (2) Plots vs. temperature of the intensities of the 2885 cm-1 and 2930 cm-1 CH stretching bands relative to the intensity of the thermally stable 2850 cm-1 band, i.e. the I2885/I2850 and I2930/I2850 ratios, reveal a sharp discontinuity in cholesterol-free phosphatidylcholine liposomes; this coincides with the gel leads to liquid-crystal transition temperature of the fatty acyl chains. In cholesterol/phosphatudylcholine liposomes the change in I2885/I2850 occurs over a very broad temperature range and I2930/I2850 remains stable. (3) I1527/I1158, i.e. the intensity of v(-C=C-) relative to that of v(=C-C-) in beta-carotene/phosphatidylcholine liposomes, changes discontinuously at the gel leads to liquid-crystal transition temperature. The values above the transition temperature approach those of the carotenoid in organic solution. (4) The transitions reported in I2885/I2850 for phosphatidylcholine/melittin liposomes (25-56; 1, M/M) are shifted to much higher temperatures than observed in phosphatidylcholine liposomes. In the case of dimyristoyl phosphatidylcholine/melittin the changes in I2930/I2850 also occurs at a higher temperature (28 degrees C) than without melittin (21 degrees C), but the temperature shift is less than the +13 degrees C observed for I2885/I2850. It appears that the apolar moiety of melittin organizes phospholipids adjacent to and more remote from the peptide moiety, to form complexes with an elevated lipid transition temperature. The effect of the peptide moiety is greater on the methylene segments (I2885/I2850) than on the methyl termini (I2930/I2850).  相似文献
