On the basis of allozyme and cultivation data, and of additional herbarium material, a taxonomic and nomenclatural revision ofTaraxacum sect.Piesis A.J. Richards exKirschner et?těpánek is provided. The section is made up of halophilous, sexually reproducing taxa. InT. stenocephalum Boiss. etKotschy,T. pindicum Kirschner et?těpánek, sp. nov., andT. perenne Kirschner et?těpánek, sp. nov., a tetraploid chromosome number has been recorded, representing the only known case of sexuality at the tetraploid level in the genus. The complex ofT. stenocephalum, includes some geographically and morphologically extreme populations treated as subspecies: subsp.gumusanicum (Soest)Kirschner et?těpánek, comb. nov., subsp.magnum Kirschner et?těpánek, subsp. nov., and subsp.daralagesicum (Schischk.)Kirschner et?těpánek, comb. nov. In addition toT. bessarabicum (Hornem.)Hand.-Mazz., a widely distributed Eurasian species,T. stenocephalum, a complex centred in Transcaucasia and Anatolia, andT. pachypodum H. Lindb., a North African endemic, four new species are described:T. salsum Kirschner et?těpánek, sp. nov., a diploid endemic confined to E Crimea,T. perenne Kirschner et?těpánek, sp. nov., a tetraploid sexual species known only from SW Crimea,T. pindicum Kirschner et?těpánek, sp. nov., a remarkable tetraploid endemic to the Pindos Mts., Greece, andT. salsitatis Kirschner, ?těpänek etYirdirimli, sp. nov., an Anatolian diploid species. Furthermore, a hybrid betweenT. salsum andT. bessarabicum from Crimea (documented on the basis of allozyme data elsewhere) is given a binomial,T. xmesohalobium Kirschner et?těpánek, nothosp. nov.  相似文献

About 78 foliicolous lichen species were found in a lichen collection from Cuba. Five of these species are established as new taxa:Porina cubana sp. n.,P. pocsii sp. n.,P. subpilosa sp. n.,Tricharia cubana sp. n. andBacidia ekmanii sp. n. Three new combinations are proposed:Phylloporis multipunctata (Merr. exR. Sant.) comb. n. (bas.:Porina multipunctata Merr. exR. Sant.),Phylloporis plytypoda (Müll. Arg.) comb. n. (bas:Porina platypoda Müll. Arg.) andCalenia aspidota (Vain.) comb. n. (bas.:Ectolechia aspidota Vain.). Taxonomic notes are provided for some taxa, and brief phytogeographical comments are supplied for all the treated species.  相似文献

Rare phosphatic tubular fossils from the Lower-Middle Cambrian Kaili Formation of Guizhou Province, southern China were originally identified as non-calcified algae or ‘worms’ (ScoleciellusLiu). Re-examination of these fossils indicates that specimens identified as non-calcified algae areSphenothallus taijiangensis n. sp., while specimens identified asScoleciellus belong toByronia natus (Liu).Sphenothallus taijiangensis andByronia natus from Lower Cambrian strata in the Kaili Formation are the oldest known representatives of their genera. In addition,B. natus (Liu) is the only known species ofByronia with the exception ofB. annulata Matthew (Middle Cambrian, British Columbia). CambrovitusMao et al., a tubular fossil from Middle Cambrian strata in the Kaili Formation, originally was classified as a hyolithid. However, the discovery of a nearly complete specimen possessing an apical attachment disk shows thatCambrovitus, likeByronia andSphenothallus, probably was a thecate cnidarian polyp.  相似文献

Andert’s (1911) inoceramids (Bivalvia) from the topmost Turonian and Lower and lowermost Middle Coniacian (Cretaceous) of the Kreibitz-Zittauer area (Saxony and northern Bohemia) are revised, partially redescribed and newly illustrated. Ten species are discussed. Of the forms described as new byAndert,Inoceramus weiset is shown to represent deformed representatives ofCremnoceramus crassus (Petrascheck), andI. winkholdioides Andert should probably be synonymized withC. brongniarti (Mantell).Andert’s interpretation ofFlegel’s (1904) species, i.e.I. frechi andI. glaziae, is not correct; the former should be referred toMytiloides scupini (Heinz), while the latter includesC. inconstans (Woods),I. vistulensis Walaszczyk,C. rotundatus (Tröger nonFiege), andM. cf.turonicus Walaszczyk. The speciesI. subquadratus Andert representsC. rotundatus (Tröger nonFiege), and hisI. cuvieri var.planus is referred toC. inconstans (Woods) and toC. cf.transilvanicus (Simionescu). The speciesI. protractus Scupin is referred toC. waltersdorfensis (Andert). The main source localities toAndert (1911), i. e. Sonnenberg near Waltersdorf and “Dachsloch” quarry near Innozenzidorf (Czech: Lesne), are of latest Late Turonian/Early Coniacian (theMytiloides scupini andCremnoceramus rotundatus Zones) and late Early Coniacian (C. deformis- C. crassus Zone) age respectively. The third locality, i. e. railway cutting at Tannenberg station (Czech: Jedlová), is probably or late Early Coniacian or early Middle Coniacian age.  相似文献

Here 13 species of the nonfoliicolous species of the lichen familyEctolechiaceae Zahlbr. em.Haf. are reported, which were found in a collection from Brazil. Six species are described as new:Badimia corticola (sp.n.),Calopadia isidiosa (sp.n.),C. psoromoides (sp.n.),C. subfusca (sp.n.),Tapellaria corticola (sp.n.), andT. schindleri (sp.n.). Seven species have been identified with earlier described species:Calopadia chacoënsis (Malme) comb. n. (=Lopadium chacoënse Malme),C. foliicola (Fée) Vězda,C. fusca (Müll. Arg.) Vězda,C. lecanorella (Nyl.) comb. n.,C. perpallida (Nyl.) Věda,C. phyllogena (Müll. Arg.) Vězda, andTapellaria epiphylla (Müll. Arg.) Sant. A key and illustrations for all studied species are provided, and the nomenclatural problem of the correct generic name of thePyrenotrichum Mont. (anamorph) forCalopadia Vězda orTapellaria Sant. (teleomorphs) are discussed.  相似文献

Seven species ofBucania Hall 1847 from the Ordovician of Estonia are presented, also taking into consideration Pleistocene drift material from Germany, and their stratigraphical and geographical distributions are revised. The Middle Ordovician speciesBucania latissima Koken 1897 andBucania salpinx Koken 1897 are tentatively assigned toMegalomphala Ulrich inUlrich &Scofield 1897, while the Lower Ordovician speciesBucania macera Koken inKoken &Perner 1925 is placed inSalpingostoma Roemer 1876. The Middle OrdovicianBucania czekanowskii (Schmidt 1858) and the Upper OrdovicianBucania radiata (d’Eichwald 1856) were earlier considered conspecific, but based on study of the type material they are here considered distinct species.Salpingostoma cornu (Koken 1897), commonly referred to this genus because of the trema, is here transferred toBucania. Two Upper Ordovician specimens ofBucania display wide and abruptly flaring apertures morphologically far removed from other species of the genus.  相似文献

Five different isolates of beet yellows virus were maintained without any changes in their properties onTetragonia expansa Murr. syn.T. tetragonoides Pall. for a long period of time. According to their characteristics and different properties especially in a diploid inbred line of sugar beet the isolates are considered to be strains of BYV and are classified into three groups: group of mild strains (the mild masked and mild strains), normal strains (the common strain) and necrotic strains (the severe necrotic and necrotic strains). The necrotic strains of BYV were relatively easily transmissible manually to sugar beet plants and other indicator species. The common strain can be transmitted to sugar beet,Chenopodium quinoa Willd. but not toC. capitatum L. Asch. Mild strains are transmissible with difficulty andC. quinoa is the only species which develops a larger number of local lesions after inoculation. In contrast to the mild masked and common strains it is manually transmissible toC. capitatum. The mild masked strain can not be transmitted to sugar beet.Nicotiana quadrivalvis Pursh. is not susceptible to mechanical inoculation with BYV. Aphid transmission withMyzus persicae (Sulz.) was positive in experiments with necrotic strains only. Mechanical transmission of BYV was successful also toC. foliosum (Moench) Asch.,C. murale L. andClaytonia perfoliata Donn. The last two species were susceptible to inoculation by aphids as well. Attempts to transmit the virus manually toT. expansa Murr. andC. giganteum Donn. failed.  相似文献

The group of species usually referred toChamaenerion is maintained as forming a separate genus; asChamaenerion (auct.) is an illegitimate name,Chamerion (Raf. 1818)Raf. 1833 must be used as the correct name of the group. At presentChamerion includes 9 species; remarks on the nomenclature ofC. angustifolium (L., em.)Holub andC. dodonaei (Vill.)Holub are given.  相似文献

Isolated material of Ludlow (Upper Silurian) retiolitid graptolites are described from isolated material in theJaeger collection of the Museum für Naturkunde (Humboldt Universität Berlin, Germany). This material from glacial erratic boulders of northern Germany has never been published, even though it yields important structural information for retiolitid taxonomy. The astogeny and formation of the clathrial and reticular lists ofNeogothograptus andHoloretiolites rhabdosomes is discussed in some detail. New species includeNeogothograptus ornatus n. sp. andNeogothograptus eximinassa n. sp. Hermann Jaeger recognized both species as new and named them in his collection, but not publish the material.Neogothograptus thorsteinssoni Lenz &;Kozlowska-Dawidziuk andNeogothograptus romani Koz?owska-Dawidziuk have been recognized for the first time in north German glacial erratic boulders.  相似文献

Fossil faecal pellets with internal structures are described from non-marine environments for the first time. In the Late Triassic Lehrberg Beds (Middle Keuper, Carnian) of Germany, the oldest stratigraphic record of the form genusHelicerina Brönnimann &Masse,Helicerina keuperina Seegis n. sp., occurs.Favreina kalankyra Ebli from the Norian Hauptdolomit Formation is also attributed to this genus. Another new speciesof Helicerina, H. ruttei Schweigert n. sp., is described from the Early Miocene calcareous freshwater tufas of Southern Germany. It is attributed to the brachyuran freshwater crabProballaya quenstedti (Zittel) which occurs abundantly at the same locality. Hence, the coprolite genusHelicerina is the product of brachyuran decapods or their Triassic ancestors, and not of anomuran decapods as thought before. From younger Early to Middle Jurassic pelagic ferrugineous limestones of the Subbetic area (Southern Spain), the new speciesFavreina belandoi Fels n. sp. is described besidesHelicerina siciliana Senowbari-Daryan, Schäfer &Catalano, and the better known speciesPalaxius salataensis Brönnimann, Cros &Zaninetti. The number of canals withinFavreina belandoi varies but is clearly correlated with different ontogenetic stages of the same producer. From the Late Jurassic of Portugal, the new speciesPetalina hexalunulata Leinfelder n. gen. n. sp. is reported. It co-occurs withFavreina prusensis (Paréjas). The new genusPetalina is distinct fromFavreina by its hemispherical cross sections of the canals. In Portugal, both species are restricted to intrajurassic marine karstic fissures of the reefal Ota Limestone.  相似文献

Three new species ofCryptocoryne are described, based on material received from unspecified localities in tropical Asia.Crytocoryne hejnýi Rataj andC. zukalii Rataj differ fromC. cor data Griff. by the non-infundibuliform gorge of the upper tube and by the colour of the limb of spathe.C. evae Rataj is one of the largest species of the genus and is related toC. siemensis Gagn, andC. zonata De Wit. It differs fromC. siemensis andC. blasii by the limb of spathe which is twice as broad and long, and by the coloured inner part of the kettle, fromC. zonata by the shape of the leaf-blades.  相似文献
