New species of Late Eocene dermestid beetles (Coleoptera, Dermestidae) from the Rovno and Baltic ambers

Fossil beetles of the family Dermestidae are reviewed. Three new species are described: Dermestes progenitor and Megatoma electra from the Baltic amber and Dermestes vetustus from the Rovno amber (Late Eocene).     

New gall midges of the subfamily Lestremiinae (Diptera, Cecidomyiidae) from the Rovno amber

Two new genera and eight new species of the gall midges subfamily Lestremiinae, viz. Berestella insuperabilis gen. et sp. nov., Monardia impellucida sp. nov., Xylopriona aristata sp. nov. (Micromyini), Aprionus improvisus sp. nov., A.? vlaskini sp. nov. (Aprionini), Vicemyia immediata gen. et sp. nov. (Peromyiini), Cordylomyia cauta sp. nov. (Campylomyzini) and Bryomyia necessaria sp. nov. (Bryomyiini) from the Late Eocene Rovno amber are described. New combinations, i.e., Cordylomyia declinata (Fedotova, 2004), comb. nov. and Cordylomyia magnifica (Nel et Prokop, 2006), comb. nov. (both are transferred from Neurolyga) are proposed. No species in common with the fauna from the Baltic amber are recorded.

球须跳甲属的中国种类(鞘翅目,叶甲科,跳甲亚科)

记述球须跳甲属Acrocrypta Baly,1862的中国种类共计5种,其中包括1新种,即紫铜球须跳甲Acrocrypta Violaceicuprea Wang,sp.nov.;给出了球须跳甲属中国已知种的名录、地理分布以及检索表.模式标本保存于中国科学院动物研究所.     

The extinct Baltic amber genus Propelma Trjapitzin,a valid genus of Neanastatinae (Hymenoptera,?Eupelmidae)

The extinct Eocene Baltic amber genus Propelma Trjapitzin 1963 is removed from synonymy under Eupelmus Dalman 1820 (Hymenoptera, Eupelmidae, Eupelminae) and treated as a valid genus within Neanastatinae Kalina 1984 based on examination of the holotype female of Propelma rohdendorfi Trjapitzin. Propelma rohdendorfi is redescribed, illustrated by photomacrographs, and compared to other described extant and extinct genera of Neanastatinae. Taxonomic, morphological and geological diversity of Neanastatinae relative to Eupelminae and Calosotinae is also discussed relative to potential age of the subfamily.     

中国伪叶甲科二新属二新种(鞘翅目:伪叶甲科)(英文)

伪叶甲科Lagriidae是鞘翅目的一个小科,全世界已知约2450种。过去有17位外国学者零星地记述了我国该科昆虫22属和124种6变种。1991年以来作者系统地研究了该科的分类、雄性外生殖器形态结构、系统发育和地理分布。本文报道莫伪叶甲属Merklia力和粗伪叶甲属Pachystira二个新属,及两斑莫伪叶甲Merkliabimaculata和凹翅粗伪叶甲Pachystiraimpressipennis二个新种。     

Hétéroptères Miridae de Guyane française: Liste préliminaire,descriptions de taxa nouveaux et données additionnelles

Deux nouveaux genres et six espèces nouvelles sont décrits de Guyane française, à savoir: Diplozona emboíiata n. sp., Guianocoris unicolor n. g., n. sp., Lundioides couturíerin. gen, n. sp., Neella guiana n. sp., Phytocorís guianus n. sp. et Phytocorís jugatus n. sp. La nouvelle combinaison Guianocoris ruber (Carvalho & Carpintero 1991a) n. comb, est proposée. Deux espèces sont redécrites et illustrées: Sthenaridea carvalhoi Schuh & Schwartz 1988 et Proboscidotyius nigrosquamis (Maldonado 1969). Les genitalias femelles d’lridopeplus pellucidipennis Bergroth 1910 sont décrits pour la premiere fois, ainsi que le mâle d’Henicocnemis luctuosa (Stål 1860). La variabilité de Monalonion annulipes Signoret 1858 est mise en évidence. Quatorze espèces sont signalées comme nouvelles pour la faune de Guyane: Fuivius bisbistiilatus (Stål 1860), F. satipoensis Carvalho & Costa 1994 Henicocnemis Iuctuosa (Stål 1860), Horcisoides punctatus (Carvalho 1976), Maxacalinus cuiabanus Carvalho 1976, Notholopus coreoides Carvalho 1975, N. cuiabanus Carvalho 1975, Proboscidotyius nigrosquamis (Maldonado 1969), Sthenaridea carvalhoi Schuh & Schwartz 1988, Taedia bananaiensis Carvalho & Costa 1994, T. cajabiana Carvalho 1976, T. coimbrai Carvalho 1975, T. compactoides Carvalho 1975 et T. xinguana Carvalho 1975, ce qui porte la liste provisoire des Miridae du Dèpartement à 46 espèces.     

Revision of fossil Metretopodidae (Insecta: Ephemeroptera) in Baltic amber – Part 2: Description of a new species of Metretopus Eaton, 1901

In the second part of the revision of fossil Metretopodidae, a new species of the genus Metretopus Eaton, 1901 is described and illustrated based on a male imago. Metretopus dividussp. nov. is the second fossil species of the genus. 中国辽宁省抚顺煤矿琥珀中斑毛蚜科新科(同翅目:蚜总科)(英文)

本文记述抚顺煤矿琥珀中蚜虫一新科,斑毛蚜科Ｄｒｅｐａｎｏｃｈａｉｔｏｐｈｏｒｉｄａｅ,一新属,斑毛蚜属Ｄｒｅｐａｎｏｃｈａｉｔｏｐｈｏｒｕｓ Ｚｈａｎｇ ｅｔ Ｈｏｎｇ,一新种,抚顺斑毛蚜Ｄｒｅｐａｎｏｃｈａｉｔｏｐｈｏｒｕｓ　ｆｕｓｈｕｎｅｎｓｉｓ Ｚｈａｎｇ ｅｔ Ｈｏｎｇ。标本采自煤矿中古城子组,时代属于老第三纪始新世早期。斑毛蚜科的发现,可以帮助我们认识斑蚜科、毛蚜科与斑毛蚜科之间的演化关系。模式标本保存在北京自然历史博物馆。     

New Upper Cambrian Lingulata (Brachiopoda) from the Agyrek mountains (northeastern central Kazakhstan)

Two new genera, Repkinella and Aristotreta, and five new species from the class Lingulata (Brachiopoda) are described from the Upper Cambrian olistolith limestone enclosed in the Upper Ordovician olistostrome from the Agyrek mountains (northeastern Kazakhstan). The family Curticiidae Walcott et Schuchert is referred to the order Lingulida, not order Acrotretida, where it was previously placed.     

潜叶蜂族研究(膜翅目:叶峰科)(英文)

本文记述中国潜叶蜂族Fenusini6属8种,其中包括2新属6新种及4新组合种：大眼郑潜叶蜂Zhenginamegommagen．etsp．nov,吕氏华潜叶蜂Sinofeunsaluigen．etsp．nov,黑鳞丝潜叶蜂Messanigrotegulasp．nov,痕缝脊潜叶蜂Parnavestigialissp．nov,沟缝脊潜叶蜂Parnadistinctasp．nov,黄首原潜叶蜂Profenusaxanthocephalasp．nov．;槭树雅潜叶蜂Anafsnusaacericola（Xiao1992）comb．nov。恢复臀潜叶蜂属AfusaMalaise,将ParafenusaZhelochovtsev（1976）降为AfusaMalaise1964的次异名,原Paarafenusa属下的种类移入Afusa属,建立3个新组合：Afusapruni（Zhelochovtsev1976）comb．nov,Afusacerasi（Zhelochovtsev1976）comb．nov,Afusamaharibiana（Zhelochovtsev1976）comb．nov。新属新种附有主要形态特征图。文中还编制了潜叶蜂族的已知底检索表和Profenusa,Anafeausa,Parna属的已知种检索表。雅潜叶蜂属Anafenusa和脊潜叶蜂属Parna为中国新纪录属。迄今,潜叶蜂族已知24属约60种;中国已记述12属22种。     

TWO NEW GENERA AND TWO NEW SPECIES OF LAGRIIDAE (COLEOPTERA) FROM CHINA*

Abstract In the present paper two new genera, Merklia and Pachystira, and two new species, Merklia bimaculata and Pachystira impressipennis, belonging to the subfamily Statirinae, Lagriidae are described from Yunnan Provime, China.     

胡椒害虫——突顶跳甲属及中国二新种记述

突顶跳甲属Lanka Maulik此前已知17种,分布于中国云南,台湾及日本,越南,泰国,老挝,斯里兰卡和印度,是一个典型的东洋区分布属,在印度是胡椒属植物的重要害虫。又记述2新种:栗褐突顶跳甲Lanka puncticollaW ang et Ge,sp.nov.,产自云南西双版纳;律点突顶跳甲Lanka regularia W ang et Ge,sp.nov.,产自西藏墨脱。至此,该属已知种增至19种,其中中国5种。列出了全部已知种名录、产地、寄主、检索表、部分种的雄虫阳茎图,记述了新种,绘制其整体图和特征图等。新种模式标本保存于中国科学院动物研究所。     

寡毛跳甲属中国种类(叶甲科,跳甲亚科)记述

记述了寡毛跳甲属Luperomorpha Weise的中国种类,共计27种,其中有6新种,新种为陈氏寡毛跳甲Luperomorpha cheni Wang et Ge,sp.nov.,光胸寡毛跳甲Luperomorpha glabricollis Wang et Ge,sp.nov.,广西寡毛跳甲Luperomorpha guangxiana Wang et Ge,sp.nov.,海南寡毛跳甲Luperomorpha hainana Wang et Ge,sp.nov.,膨梗寡毛跳甲Luperomorpha pedicelis Wang et Ge,sp.nov.,古铜寡毛跳甲Luperomorpha similimetallica Wang et Ge,sp.nov.。模式标本保存在中国科学院动物研究所昆虫标本馆。     

凹唇跳甲属的中国种类(叶甲科,跳甲亚科)

记述凹唇跳甲属Argopus Fischer von Waldheim的中国种类,共计16种,其中含2新种:似双齿凹唇跳甲A.similibidentata Wang et Ge,sp.nov.,产自浙江天目山及陕西宁陕火地塘;粗背凹唇跳甲A.foveolata Wang et Ge,sp.nov.产自黑龙江带岭、虎林;另黑胸凹唇跳甲A.miyakei Kimoto,1991,仅记录中国台湾,本文记载了来自福建、广西、贵州的6头标本(3♂♂,3♀♀),扩大了该种的分布范围.新种模式标本保存于中国科学院动物研究所国家动物博物馆.     

A NEW FAMILY DREPANOCHAITOPHORIDAE (HO-MOPTERA: APHIDOIDEA) FROM EOCENE FUSHUN AMBER OF LIAONING PROVINCE CHINA*

Abstract This paper deals with a new family Drepanochaitophoridae from Eocene Fushun Amber of Limning Province, China, a new genus, Drepanochaitophorus Zhang et Hong and a new species, Drepanochailophorus fushunensis Zhang et Hong. The similarities and differences among Drepanochaitophoridae, Drepanosiphidae and Chaitophoridae are listed and discussed. The type specimen is deposited in Beijing Museum of Natural History.
