The bluegrass webworm moth Parapediasia teterrella (Zincken, 1821) is a notorious pest that is native to North America. However, it has invaded East Asia and has caused serious economic losses in China and Japan. The objective of this paper is to analyse the potential geographic distribution of P. teterrella in East Asia with MaxEnt, using predictor variables related to temperature and precipitation. It is suggested that this species has potential to establish in Southeast China, most areas of Jeollanam-do, eastern coastal region of South Korea, and most areas of Japan. Furthermore, we applied the Jackknife test to evaluate the significance of climatic variables in modelling the potential distribution of P. teterrella. The result indicates that annual mean temperature (Bio1), mean temperature of the coldest quarter (Bio11) and precipitation of the coldest quarter (Bio19) mainly affect its geographical distribution. A map showing the potential distribution of P. teterrella in East Asia is provided, and morphological diagnosis of the species is also given.  相似文献

Clarifying the geographic patterns of species diversity and the determinant factors can provide essential information for species conservation and management. Stag beetles (Coleoptera: Lucanidae) of Lucanus are important saproxylic insects and can be used for biomonitoring forests. Most of Lucanus species are facing conservation concerns due to their limited distribution and fragmented habitats, particularly in China, which has the richest species diversity of this genus. The distribution patterns of species diversity of Lucanus at large spatial scales remain portly understood. We studied the distribution patterns of Lucanus and its environmental and geographic determinants in China. Distribution data for 72 species and subspecies were examined. All these species are distributed in southern China except for Lucanus maculifemoratus dybowskyi, which is mainly distributed in north China. The hotspot for Lucanus in China is southeastern Tibet. Our study indicated that the species richness of Lucanus in China was shaped by the precipitation of the wettest and driest month, net primary productivity, digital elevation model, and latitude at a large scale. These variables collectively explained 56.2% of the variation in species richness; precipitation contributed the most (44.1%). Our results provide valuable insights to improve the conservation of Lucanus and can contribute to furthering our understanding of the biogeography of stag beetles in China.

We describe the diversity of the stag beetle species and further explore its formation. The result indicated that the variables of geography vegetation, temperature, and precipitation collectively shaped the distributed pattern, and geographical variables are most important.  相似文献

研究气候变化下物种适生区的分布格局与变迁,对于物种的保护和资源的可持续利用具有重要的理论和实践意义。选取柴胡(Bupleurum chinense)与狭叶柴胡(Bupleurum scorzonerifolium)在中国地域内的381个有效分布点和36个环境因子,利用MaxEnt模型模拟当前以及未来(2050和2070年)两种气候情景下(RCP4.5和RCP8.5)其适生区的分布格局,并分析了制约其适生区分布的主导环境因子。结果表明:(1)影响柴胡适生区分布的主导环境因子为最湿月份降水量、最干季度平均温度以及海拔。影响狭叶柴胡适生区分布的主导环境因子为最湿月份降水量、温度季节性变化标准差以及海拔;(2)当前气候条件下,柴胡适生区总面积为1.4755×106km2,约占我国国土面积的15.37%,中、高度适生区主要分布在陕西南部、山西东部、甘肃东南部、山东中部、河北中西部等地;狭叶柴胡适生区总面积为1.8034×106km2,约占我国国土面积的18.78%,中、高度适生区主要分布在黑龙江西部和东部、内...  相似文献

Previous research has shown that the geographical distribution patterns of freshwater fishes and amphibians have been influenced by past climatic oscillations in China resulting from Pleistocene glacial activity. However, it remains unknown how these past changes have impacted the present-day distribution of Chinese freshwater crabs. This work describes the diversity and endemism of freshwater crabs belonging to Sinopotamon, a highly speciose genus endemic to China, and evaluates its distribution in terms of topography and past climatic fluctuations. Species diversity within Sinopotamon was found to be concentrated in an area from the northeastern edge of the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau to the Jiangnan Hills, and three areas of endemism were identified. Multiple regression analysis between current climatic variables and Sinopotamon diversity suggested that regional annual precipitation, minimum temperature in the coldest month, and annual temperature range significantly influenced species diversity and may explain the diversity patterns of Sinopotamon. A comparison of ecological niche models (ENMs) between current conditions and the last glacial maximum (LGM) showed that suitable habitat for Sinopotamon in China severely contracted during the LGM. The coincidence of ENMs and the areas of endemism indicated that southeast of the Daba Mountains, and central and southeastern China, are potential Pleistocene refuges for Sinopotamon. The presence of multiple Pleistocene refuges within the range of this genus could further promote inter- and intraspecific differentiations, and may have led to high Sinopotamon species diversity, a high endemism rate and widespread distribution.  相似文献

We modeled the geographical distribution of 4 pithecine primate species: brown-backed bearded sakis (Chiropotes israelita) and 3 black uakaris (Cacajao melanocephalus, C. hosomi, and C. ayresi) that inhabit remote regions of western Amazonas, Brazil. We applied a maximum entropy algorithm modeling program (MAXENT) to field data Boubli collected from 1991 to 2007. We used 23 environmental coverage variables to model the distribution of the primates. The layers were related to precipitation, temperature, topography, and ecological bioregions or Ecoregions. The predicted distribution for Cacajao hosomi was strongly associated with the Negro-Branco Moist Forest and Guianan Highlands Moist Forests Ecoregions, and the Worldclim variables Bio3 (isothermality), Bio4 (temperature seasonality) and Bio17 (precipitation of the driest quarter). Cacajao melanocephalus was strongly associated with Japurá/ Solimões-Negro Moist Forests, Caquetá Moist Forests, Purús Várzea Flooded Forests, Rio Negro Campinaranas, and Cordillera Oriental Montane Forests, Ecoregions. Cacajao ayresi was strongly associated with Negro-Branco Moist Forest and Rio Negro Campinarana Ecoregions as well as Worldclim Bio3 (isothermality). Chiropotes israelita was also strongly associated with Worldclim Bio3 (isothermality) followed by the Negro Branco Moist Forests and Guianan Piedmont and Lowland Moist Forests Ecoregion, and to the Guianan Highland moist forests. These results show a great overlap between the bearded saki and 2 black uakaris, Cacajao hosomi and C. ayresi. Given that one cannot attribute the separation between the species in the Rio Negro-Rio Branco interfluvium to the existence of geographical barriers such as rivers, we suggest that the present geographical boundaries and thus coexistence of the 3 pithecines north of the Rio Negro is maintained by competitive exclusion or stochastic events. Until more surveys are conducted, the present geographical distributions of the pithecines and the mechanism maintaining their boundaries in the Rio Negro-Rio Branco interfluvium will remain uncertain. One important contribution of our model is to identify areas of higher probability of occurrence that might be helpful in guiding future survey expeditions and choices of areas for future conservation of pithecines.  相似文献

Metaeuchromius glacialis Li, sp. n. is described from the Tibetan glacier area of China. The new species is similar to Metaeuchromius circe Bleszynski by the distal projection of costa exceeding the apex of valva, and the phallus with strong spine-like cornuti in the male genitalia. 基于刺齿虫兆属的自然地理分布特征和调查资料,讨论了弹尾纲刺齿虫兆属的自然分布、扩散和地理起源。结果显示,全球已经描述的57种刺齿虫兆,不仅主要分布于亚洲(54种),而且中国的物种数量最多(32种),土著种数量亦最多(23种)。亚洲之外美国大陆的3个州有2种(全为广布种);夏威夷有6种(包括3个广布种)。作者初步提出了刺齿虫兆属起源和扩散的假设。  相似文献

Satyrium is an endangered and rare genus of plant that has various pharmacodynamic functions. In this study, optimized MaxEnt models were used in analyzing potential geographical distributions under current and future climatic conditions (the 2050s and 2070s) and dominant environmental variables influencing their geographic distribution. The results provided reference for implementation of long‐term conservation and management approaches for the species. The results showed that the area of the total suitable habitat for Satyrium ciliatum (S. ciliatum) in China is 32.51 × 104 km2, the total suitable habitat area for Satyrium nepalense (S. nepalense) in China is 61.76 × 104 km2, and the area of the total suitable habitat for Satyrium yunnanense (S. yunnanense) in China is 89.73 × 104 km2 under current climatic conditions. The potential suitable habitat of Satyrium is mainly distributed in Southwest China. The major environmental variables influencing the geographical distribution of S. ciliatum were isothermality (bio3), temperature seasonality (bio4), and mean temperature of coldest quarter (bio11). Environmental variables such as isothermality (bio3), temperature seasonality (bio4), and precipitation of coldest quarter (bio19) affected the geographical distribution of S. nepalense; and environmental variables such as isothermality (bio3), temperature seasonality (bio4), and lower temperature of coldest month (bio6) affected the geographical distribution of S. yunnanense. The distribution range of Satyrium was extended as global warming increased, showing emissions of greenhouse gases with lower concentration (SSP1‐2.6) and higher concentration (SSP5‐8.5). According to the study, the distribution of suitable habitat will shift with a change to higher elevation areas and higher latitude areas in the future.  相似文献

Climate change poses a serious threat to biodiversity. Predicting the effects of climate change on the distribution of a species' habitat can help humans address the potential threats which may change the scope and distribution of species. Pterocarya stenoptera is a common fast‐growing tree species often used in the ecological restoration of riverbanks and alpine forests in central and eastern China. Until now, the characteristics of the distribution of this species' habitat are poorly known as are the environmental factors that influence its preferred habitat. In the present study, the Maximum Entropy Modeling (Maxent) algorithm and the Genetic Algorithm for Ruleset Production (GARP) were used to establish the models for the potential distribution of this species by selecting 236 sites with known occurrences and 14 environmental variables. The results indicate that both models have good predictive power. Minimum temperature of coldest month (Bio6), mean temperature of warmest quarter (Bio10), annual precipitation (Bio12), and precipitation of driest month (Bio14) were important environmental variables influencing the prediction of the Maxent model. According to the models, the temperate and subtropical regions of eastern China had high environmental suitability for this species, where the species had been recorded. Under each climate change scenario, climatic suitability of the existing range of this species increased, and its climatic niche expanded geographically to the north and higher elevation. GARP predicted a more conservative expansion. The projected spatial and temporal patterns of P. stenoptera can provide reference for the development of forest management and protection strategies.  相似文献

Identifying genetic diversity patterns is fundamentally important for effective species management and conservation. In this study, we used five microsatellite loci to investigate the genetic diversity and population differentiation of Achyranthes bidentata in Dao Di and its surrounding region. Our analysis of microsatellite data indicated the level of genetic diversity of A. bidentata (HT = 0.333) was lower than other plants. The results showed no significant genetic diversity differences and population genetic differentiation between the Dao Di and surrounding region. Significant temperature differences (Bio2: mean diurnal range and Bio7: temperature annual range) were found between the Dao Di and surrounding region, which may improve the accumulation of medicinal ingredients of populations in the Dao Di. The populations of A. bidentata were divided into two genetic groups, which was caused by five temperature variables (Bio1, Bio4, Bio7, Bio9, and Bio11). This study thus provides an important case for over-collecting within limited ranges in affecting population diversity and bioclimate variables for different producing area in driving population differentiation.  相似文献

A new species of scorpion, Teuthraustes braziliensis sp. n. (Scorpiones, Chactidae), is described from the State of Amazonas, Brazil. This is the second species of the genus to be collected in the lowlands of South America, and the third record of a scorpion of the genus Teuthraustes to be recorded from Brazilian Amazonia. The total number of species of Teuthraustes is now raised to 21. The patterns of distribution of the genus are commented upon, and its geographical distribution is also enlarged.  相似文献

以“Index Muscorum”中的20个藓类植物地理分布单位为分析区域,基于标本信息和相关文献,统计了世界砂藓属84种植物在20个地理单位的分布数据,应用除趋势对应分析法和三维空间图直观地展示了世界砂藓属植物的地理分布格局。发现世界砂藓属植物分布明显地分为南半球区和北半球区,并与岗瓦纳古陆和劳亚古陆有较好的对应性。南半球区包括Am.2,Am.3,Am.4,Am.5,Am.6,Afr.2,Afr.3,Afr.4,Austr.1,Austr.2,As.4和Ant.等12个地理单位;北半球区包括Am.1,Eur.,As.1,As.2,As.3,As.5,Afr.1和Oc.等8个地理单位。砂藓属中的无瘤类群在南、北半球分布广泛,而叶片细胞壁具瘤的NiphotrichumCodriophorus亚属的种类主要分布在北半球。推测砂藓属植物的起源应早于联合古陆分裂以前,其祖先类群的叶片细胞表面光滑无瘤。  相似文献

Climate change has been the key factor in changing the alpine vegetation's habitat and causing it to migrate to higher latitudes. The present study aims to model the current and future potential habitat distribution of endangered medicinal plant Picrorhiza kurroa Royle ex Benth in Uttarakhand Himalaya using the maximum entropy (MaxEnt) modeling. We initially select twenty-two environmental variables (bioclimatic + topographic) got from the Fifty-four (54) species occurrence points, which were further reduced to nine variables to prevent multicollinearity. Shared Socioeconomic Pathways (SSP1–2.6 and SSP2–4.5) from the CMIP6 (BCC-CSM2-MR) climate model for the periods 2041–60 and 2061–80 were used to predict the current and future habitat distribution of P. kurroa. Results showed that the precipitation of the driest month (Bio 14; 33.8%), isothermality (Bio 3; 20.2%), mean temperature of warmest quarter (Bio 10; 12.7%), and temperature annual range (Bio 7; 12.2%) were the important bioclimatic variables influencing the habitat of P. kurroa. Overall, there is a decrease in the habitat of P. kurroa under climate change scenarios. The present results may prove insightful for the decision-makers to identify suitable sites in the wild for the further propagation of P. kurroa.  相似文献

The genus Eretmophyllum, a characteristic and widespread taxon of the order Ginkgoales, is restricted in the Mesozoic floras of Eurasia. In China, although some specimens were assigned to Eretmophyllum based on gross leaf morphology, none have epidermal structure, which is essential for species delimitation within this genus. In this paper, we describe a new species, Eretmophyllum neimengguensis n. sp., from the Middle Jurassic Yan’an Formation of the Ordos Basin, China. This is the first record of the genus Eretmophyllum (Ginkgoales) from the Ordos Basin as well as from China based upon the gross leaf morphology and the epidermal structure. The new record significantly extends the stratigraphic and geographic distribution of Eretmophyllum in China and Eurasia. It also improves our understanding of its leaf morphology, epidermal structure, and past diversity. The taxonomic position and the stratigraphic and geographical range of the genus Eretmophyllum are discussed. Briefly, leaf morphological and epidermal characters of the new species, associated plant assemblages, and sedimentology indicate that the regional climate of the Ordos Basin was warm and humid with seasonal temperature and precipitation fluctuations in warm-temperate zone during the Middle Jurassic. Furthermore, given the relationship between the distribution/diversity of the genus and the climate, the genus Eretmophyllum may be confined to the warm-temperature climate, is intolerant of heat and frost, and can be considered as an indicator of humid and warm climatic conditions.  相似文献

In recent decades, due to the effect of climate change and the interference of human activities, the species habitat index has fallen by 2%. Studying on the geographical distribution pattern and predicting the potential geographical distribution of species are of great significance for developing scientific and effective biodiversity conservation strategies. Plenty of rare and endangered species that need immediate conservation are distributed in Northwest Yunnan. In this regard, this research is conducted in the purpose of predicting the potential geographical distribution of 25 rare and endangered plant species in Northwest Yunnan and analyzing the explanation capabilities of various environmental factors on the potential geographical distribution patterns of these species. Initially, the ecological niche model MaxEnt was employed to predict the potential geographical distribution of target species. Following that, the superposition method was applied to obtain the potential geographical distribution pattern of species richness on the spatial scale of the ecological niche model with a resolution of 0.05° × 0.05°. Ultimately, geographically weighted regression (GWR) model was adopted to investigate the explanation capabilities of various environmental parameters on the potential distribution patterns. The research results showed that the average value of the area under the receiver operating curve (AUC) of each species was between 0.80 and 1.00, which indicated that the simulation accuracy of the MaxEnt model for each species was good or excellent. On the whole, the potential distribution area for each species was relatively concentrated and mainly distributed in the central‐western, central‐eastern and northern regions of Northwest Yunnan. In addition, the potential distribution areas of these species were between 826.33 km2 and 44,963.53 km2. In addition, the annual precipitation (Bio12), precipitation of coldest quarter (Bio19), and population density (Pop) made a greater contribution to the species distribution model, and their contribution values were 25.92%, 15.86%, and 17.95%, respectively. Moreover, the goodness‐of‐fit R 2 and AIC value of the water model were 0.88 and 7,703.82, respectively, which indicated the water factor largely influenced the potential distribution of these species. These results would contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of the potential geographical distribution pattern and the distribution of suitable habitats of some rare and endangered plant species in Northwest Yunnan and would be helpful for implementing long‐term conservation and reintroduction for these species.  相似文献

Abstract Ninety‐six species of the rove beetle genus Dianous Leach, 1819 have been recorded in China. In this paper, we describe a new species, D. poecilus n. sp. from Yunnan, and record D. viriditinctus ( Champion, 1920 ) for the first time from China. To facilitate identification of species, species groups and/or species complexes, we compiled a new version of keys, including all species of Dianous hitherto recorded in the territory of China. Moreover, main patterns of geographical distribution are outlined for the world Dianous fauna of this genus.  相似文献

Additional material of Todites (Osmundaceae) from the Lower Jurassic Xiangshan Group in Jiangsu and Anhui Provinces, Eastern China is investigated. Five species of Todites are described based on collections (including sterile and fertile pinnae) from eight localities along the Yangtze River, including Todites denticulatus (Brongniart) Krasser, Todites cf. goeppertianus (Muenster) Krasser, Todites nanjingensis sp. nov., Todites princeps (Presl) Gothan and Todites sp. Material of T. denticulatus and T. nanjingensis sp. nov. contains further data of the fertile pinnae. The stratigraphical ranges and the geographical distribution of the genus Todites in China are discussed and reviewed. Available data show that Todites mostly occurs in the Late Triassic to Middle Jurassic of China. The genus was widely distributed in both the Northern and Southern Floristic Provinces of China, and especially abundant and diverse in the Southern Floristic Province.  相似文献

Taxonomic considerations are given for the genus Lissothus Vachon, 1948 (Scorpiones, Buthidae). Two species are currently known, Lissothus bernardi Vachon, 1948 from Libya and Lissothus occidentalis Vachon, 1950 from Mauritania. In this contribution, a new species, Lissothus chaambi sp. n., is described from the desert of Central Algeria. The new species is most closely related to L. bernardi. The geographical distribution of the genus is discussed.  相似文献

The genus Fritillaria embraces up to 165 taxa in the family Liliaceae, most of which are of high medicinal and ornamental value and importance. In this study, 44 specimens of the genus representing 9 species were collected from their natural habitats located in 10 provinces of Iran. Phylogenetic analysis was performed based on DNA sequences of the internal transcribed spacer (ITS) of the nuclear ribosomal cistron and the trnL-trnF regions. The phylogeny was constructed using the neighbor joining inference method. Results indicate that the examined samples were evidently diverged into 2 distinct clades. Members of the subgenera Fritillaria and Rhinopetalum formed one clade while the other clade contained the subgenera Theresia and Petilium. There can be seen a high degree of similarity between the only yellow-colored crown imperial specimen and the red-colored specimens. The endemic species of Fritillaria straussii, Fritillaria zagrica and Fritillaria kotschyana which their status within the subgenera known in the genus Fritillaria has been remained undefined, fell into the subgenus Fritillaria. The clades also had relatively reasonable distribution patterns based on the genetic structure, geographical conditions and climate specifications. This study revealed the feasibility of the ITS and trnL-trnF DNA sequence for phylogeny of the genus Fritillaria. This is the first phylogenetic analysis of Fritillaria spp. in Iran.  相似文献

东北地区木生真菌物种资源丰富, 包括了数十种林木干基腐朽病原真菌。过去对该类真菌曾进行多次调查, 获取了大量物种分布数据, 但对于非重点调查区域是否存在某种真菌物种却不明确。本文选取东北地区具有代表性的4种林木干基腐朽病原真菌, 即红缘拟层孔菌(Fomitopsis pinicola)、落叶松锈迷孔菌(Porodaedalea laricis)、桦剥管孔菌(Piptoporus betulinus)和香栓孔菌(Trametes suaveolens), 根据其地理分布数据和分布地的环境因子数据, 以最大熵模型(MaxEnt)对这些种类在东北地区可能的分布范围进行了模拟预测, 以曲线下面积(area under the receiver operating characteristic curve, AUC)对模型有效性进行评价, 并对各物种的生态位进行了分析。结果显示, 以MaxEnt方法获得的各物种预测模型均获得了较高的AUC值, 分别为0.990, 0.990, 0.989和0.967, 表明4种林木干基腐朽病原真菌预测模型的有效性较高。物种分布模型涉及的环境变量对模型的贡献率显示, 最暖季降水量(Bio18)、温度的年较差(Bio7)、最干季均温(Bio9)等变量对各物种模型贡献率较高。该研究结果为预测4种病原真菌在东北地区的分布范围和科学防治该类病原真菌提供了依据。  相似文献
