珊瑚藻类对南麂列岛潮间带底栖生物群落多样性的影响   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
为了解南麂列岛潮间带珊瑚藻类对于其他大型藻类和底栖动物的影响, 在南麂列岛国家级海洋自然保护区布设了4条潮间带断面, 于2012年5月至2013年2月对其生物状况进行了逐季调查, 分别分析了中低潮区大型藻类、非珊瑚藻大型藻类、底栖动物的物种多样性和均匀度, 并计算了大型底栖动物的功能多样性指数Rao's Q。主要结果如下: (1)共采集和鉴定出大型藻类52种, 其中珊瑚藻科藻类有5种; (2)珊瑚藻类在高潮区没有分布, 在中低潮区均占据优势, 占潮间带藻类生物量的68.9%。四季中低潮区大型藻类的Shannon-Wiener多样性指数范围为1.638-4.044, 非珊瑚藻大型藻类的多样性指数范围为1.495-3.809, 底栖动物为5.289-6.917; 大型藻类的Pielou均匀度指数范围为0.819-0.971, 非珊瑚藻大型藻类的均匀度指数范围为0.830-0.973, 底栖动物为0.967-0.988; (3)大型藻类物种多样性和均匀度指数的降低与珊瑚藻类优势度的增加相关, 但珊瑚藻类优势度与底栖动物物种多样性指数、均匀度指数和功能多样性指数均没有显著相关性; (4)底栖动物功能多样性与珊瑚藻类优势度均呈低潮区高于中潮区的变化规律, 但相关性分析表明两者间并无直接联系。推测珊瑚藻类通过竞争占据了其他藻类的生存空间, 从而降低了南麂列岛潮间带大型藻类的物种多样性和均匀度。底栖动物则因其自身生活特点而使得珊瑚藻类的扩张未能影响其多样性水平。  相似文献

南麂列岛潮间带大型底栖动物群落优势种生态位   总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5  
为了解南麂列岛潮间带大型底栖动物的群落特征及其物种间相互作用情况,于2012年5月至2013年2月对南麂列岛保护区内的12个资源位点(潮间带3个潮区的4个季节采样)进行了调查。共采集和鉴定出大型底栖动物354种,其中,18个优势种分别隶属于3门5纲12科。通过对优势种生态位的宽度、重叠度和相似比例的分析,发现:1)带偏顶蛤Modiolus comptus、条纹隔贻贝Septifer virgatus和异须沙蚕Nereis heterocirrata的生态位宽度较宽,均大于0.9;白条地藤壶Euraphia withersi和白脊藤壶Fistulobalanus albicostatus的生态位宽度则较窄,均小于0.5。2)各优势种群的生态位重叠度较低而生态位相似比例较高,生态位宽度值较高的物种对其他物种的生态位重叠值和生态位相似比例也较高,反之则较低。3)Bray-Curtis相似性聚类分析和非度量多维尺度排序(NMDS)结果表明,这些优势种基本属于同一生态类群,没有表现出明显的群落差异。经分析,潮间带大型底栖动物各优势种生态位宽度的分化是由于其对环境的适应能力和迁移能力的不同所导致的,而生态位重叠度较低情况的出现主要是由于各物种占据潮间带上不同的潮区,减小了种间竞争的压力。  相似文献

基于长江口3个区域潮间带(崇明东滩、南汇边滩和嵊山岛)监测数据,对长江口区域潮间带底栖生物生态现状及变化趋势进行评价。结果表明,2019年长江口海域泥相和岩相潮间带共鉴定大型底栖生物9门57种,软体动物、甲壳类和多毛类构成主要类群。崇明东滩、南汇边滩两个泥相潮间带底栖生物平均栖息密度分别为96.4个/m~2和160.4个/m~2,平均生物量分别为68.42 g/m~2和45.71 g/m~2;嵊山岛岩相潮间带平均栖息密度和生物量分别为488.9个/m~2和763.72 g/m~2。各断面多样性、丰富度和均匀度指数分别位于1.36—3.24、0.75—2.88和0.48—0.77,泥相潮间带低潮区生物多样性优于中潮区和高潮区,岩相潮间带中潮区生物多样性最好。聚类分析可见长江口海域潮间带底栖生物分为泥相和岩相2个大组群,物种分布存在明显的分潮区现象,高潮区站位成群或与个别中潮区站位成群,低潮区站位成群或与个别中潮区站位成群,表明底质类型和潮汐是影响潮间带大型底栖生物群落结构的主要因子。近30年来,崇明东滩和南汇边滩底栖生物种类数存在一定波动,嵊山后陀湾断面生物种类数明显下降;3个区域潮间带...  相似文献

2010年4月—2011年3月对烟台养马岛潮间带大型海藻进行了逐月调查.在养马岛潮间带共设置了A、B两个点,对大型海藻物种组成、生物量以及与环境变化的关系进行了研究.结果表明: 调查区域共有大型海藻35种,其中红藻24种,占总数的68.6%;绿藻6种,占总数的17.1%;褐藻5种,占总数的14.3%.夏季优势种以褐藻和绿藻为主,秋、冬、春季优势种以红藻和褐藻为主,鼠尾藻在各季节中均为优势种.大型海藻生物量呈现夏季高、冬季低的特点,生物量最高值出现在6月,A、B采样点大型海藻生物量最小值分别出现在1月和11月,具有温带海域藻类变化特点.温度、营养盐和pH对大型海藻生物量有显著影响.

Zonation of intertidal macrobenthos in the estuaries of Schelde and Ems   总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5  
Based on data, collected in 1980–1990, the intertidal benthic macrofauna of the Schelde and Ems estuaries was compared. The spatial occurrence of the benthic macrofauna along the salinity gradient, including the freshwater tidal area was emphasized. Both estuaries appeared to have a very similar species composition, especially at genus level. The higher number of species observed in the Schelde estuary was probably due to a greater habitat diversity. In both estuaries species diversity decreased with distance upstream. The total density did not vary along the estuarine gradient, whereas biomass is highest in the polyhaline zone.In both estuaries distinct intertidal benthic communities were observed along the salinity gradient: a marine community in the polyhaline zone, a brackish community in the mesohaline zone, and a third community in the oligohaline and freshwater tidal zones of the estuary. These three communities were very similar between both estuaries. Their main characteristics were discussed together with the occurrence and distribution of the dominant species.For the Schelde estuary and to a lesser extent also for the Ems estuary, there was evidence that anthropogenic stress had a negative effect on the intertidal macrobenthic communities of the oligohaline/freshwater tidal zone. Only Oligochaeta were dominating, whereas the very euryhaline and/or true limnetic species were missing. In the mesohaline zone, the Schelde estuary was dominated by large numbers of short-living, opportunistic species, whereas in the Ems estuary relatively more stable macrobenthic communities were observed. A comparison with some other European estuaries showed in general similar trends as those observed for the Schelde and Ems estuaries.  相似文献

2012 年6 月在南麂大檑山岛厚壳贻贝增殖区潮间带布设2 个断面,进行潮间带底栖生物调查。定量采集到底栖生物16 种,其中软体动物6 种,藻类、甲壳类各3 种,腔肠动物、多毛类各2 种。潮间带底栖生物平均丰度为1 592 inds/m2,平均生物量17 326.48 g/m2,以厚壳贻贝的生物量及丰度为最高。大檑山岛潮间带底栖生物的Shannon-Weiner 多样性指数(H')、Simpson 多样性指数(D)、Pielou 均匀度指数(J)和Margalef 丰富度指数(d)分别为1.25~1.53、0.46~0.54、0.49~0.75、0.92~1.25,平均值分别是1.48、0.50、0.57、1.13,多样性指数都比较低,潮间带底栖生物群落受到中度干扰。底栖生物ABC 曲线分析表明,大檑山岛潮间带底栖生物群落处于稳定状态。厚壳贻贝壳长频数分布分析表明,大檑山岛潮间带厚壳贻贝以1~2 龄为主。  相似文献

The situation regarding the distribution and abundance of seagrass, macroalgae and benthic fauna near the island of Sylt in the south-eastern North Sea during the period 1923 to 1940 is compared with that of the 1980s. Evidence of organic enrichment in recent times is provided by (1) massive growth of green algal mats on sheltered tidal flats, (2) a decline of red algae in the subtidal zone, (3) an expansion of mussel beds along low water line and down to 20 m depth, (4) increased abundance of polychaetes inhabiting intertidal and subtidal sandy bottoms. Seagrass beds have undergone complex changes which remain unexplained. Intensified erosion has contributed to the loss of habitats in the intertidal zone, and probably affected sessile epifauna in the deep channels. Here, direct removal and disturbance by the bottom-trawling fishery may also have contributed to the observed species impoverishment. Key ecosystem processes such as carbon and nutrient cycling could be deteriorating as a result of biodiversity loss. However, currently we lack the ability to predict the consequences of realistic species loss on ecosystem processes. The aim of this study was to test whether species contributions to community biomass can be used as surrogate measures of their contribution to ecosystem processes. These were gross community productivity in a salt marsh plant assemblage and an intertidal macroalgae assemblage; community clearance of microalgae in sessile suspension feeding invertebrate assemblage; and nutrient uptake in an intertidal macroalgae assemblage. We conducted a series of biodiversity manipulations that represented realistic species extinction sequences in each of the three contrasting assemblages. Species were removed in a subtractive fashion so that biomass was allowed to vary with each species removal, and key ecosystem processes were measured at each stage of community disassembly. The functional contribution of species was directly proportional to their contribution to community biomass in a 1:1 ratio, a relationship that was consistent across three contrasting marine ecosystems and three ecosystem processes. This suggests that the biomass contributed by a species to an assemblage can be used to approximately predict the proportional decline in an ecosystem process when that species is lost. Such predictions represent "worst case scenarios" because, over time, extinction resilient species can offset the loss of biomass associated with the extinction of competitors. We also modelled a "best case scenario" that accounts for compensatory responses by the extant species with the highest per capita contribution to ecosystem processes. These worst and best case scenarios could be used to predict the minimum and maximum species required to sustain threshold values of ecosystem processes in the future.  相似文献

为了解三亚潮间带大型海藻生态现状,布设6条岩相断面,于2008年1—11月进行了四季野外的调查,并使用物种多样性指数与聚类分析研究了潮间带大型海藻四季的群落结构和多样性变化。调查共鉴定出大型底栖藻类130种,隶属于4门75属,其中红藻门41属67种、褐藻门16属31种、绿藻门15属29种、蓝藻门3属3种。潮间带海藻种类数季节变化不大,并呈低潮带>中潮带>高潮带的垂直分布特征,且中低潮带有共同分布种,夏季尤为普遍。潮间带海藻夏冬两季平均生物量高于春秋两季,但并无显著差异。优势种季节变化明显:春季有波利团扇藻Padina boryana、日本仙菜Ceramium japonicum、半叶马尾藻Sargassum hemiphyllum、海柏Polyopes polyideoides,夏季有波状软凹藻Chondrophycus undulates、冠叶马尾藻Sargassum cristaefolium、宽扁叉节藻Amphiroa dilatata、石花菜Gelidium amansii,秋季有冠叶马尾藻、波状软凹藻、叶状铁钉菜Ishige foliacea,冬季有瓦氏马尾藻Sargassum vachellianum、苔状鸭毛藻Symphyocladia marchantioides、珊瑚藻Corallina officinalis、波利团扇藻、日本仙菜。群落多样性冬高夏低:Shannon多样性和Margalef丰富度指数最大值出现在冬季,Shannon多样性和Pielou均匀度指数最低值出现在夏季。区域底栖藻类以暖水性热带-亚热带种为主,其次为温水性的暖温带种类,基本符合南海南区暖水区系特点。研究表明,尽管三亚潮间带底栖海藻种类数与生物量上并无显著的季节差异,但群落结构与多样性均显示出一定的季节变化。  相似文献

Aim We ask how biodiverse is a polar archipelago; how this faunal richness is spread across marine, intertidal, freshwater, terrestrial and parasitic realms; and how fast species are accumulated with increased sampling effort. Location The South Orkney Islands (SOI), Scotia Arc, Southern Ocean. Methods We sampled mega‐ and macro‐benthos at the SOI using scuba in the shallows (0–10 m), a rough bottom otter trawl at 150–250 m and an Agassiz trawl and epibenthic sledge, both at depths of 200, 500, 1000 and 1500 m. We also collated species occurrence at the SOI in each realm from a century of literature and modern databases to investigate patterns in species accumulation, endemism, faunistic affinities and bathymetric ranges in three model taxa. Results Our 11 benthic samples showed that point biodiversity at the SOI is high, yielding 19 classes and 158 species. Nearly a third were new to the area, whilst five species and one genus were new to science. The shallowest samples were richest but had fewest new records of species. Known richness at the SOI is dominated by marine species (1026), of which 821 (83.3%) were benthic. Across all realms, 1224 species (50 classes, 24 phyla) were recorded, of which 43 were intertidal, 64 freshwater, 100 terrestrial, 60 parasitic and 40 birds. Species accumulation curves for model taxa showed new sampling yields about 0.75% per sample of known benthic richness, so by Antarctic standards we know the SOI quite well. Most species are Southern Ocean endemics, but very few occur only at the SOI. Main conclusions This first estimate of faunal biodiversity of a polar locality demonstrates both high richness and high levels of knowledge at the SOI. As suspected but never quantified, the benthos dominates polar biodiversity, at least at the SOI. Marine species there constitute 20% of those recently listed for the entire Southern Ocean, whilst > 60% of terrestrial species are known from Antarctica. The SOI, being one of the better‐studied polar locations, of known age and with a discrete shelf, represent an important source of comparison for biodiversity studies. The role of epiphytes in an intertidal Zostera noltii seagrass bed in Marennes-Oléron Bay was assessed in comparison with the other main benthic primary producers (Z. noltii, microphytobenthos) at two bathymetric levels and on a seasonal basis. Assemblage and biomass of epiphytes were studied using scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Z. noltii and its detrital matter followed a typical seasonal pattern: microphytobenthos was present in large quantities throughout the year representing 21% of the total biomass while detrital matter, above-ground parts and below-ground parts accounted for 65, 9 and 5%, respectively. Only two species of epiphytic diatoms, Cocconeis scutellum and Cocconeis placentula, were observed on seagrass leaves. Epiphyte biomass was very low, representing on average less than 0.001% of that of microphytobenthos or leaves. This low epiphyte biomass is linked with the absence of macroalgae and also with the low biovolume of Cocconeis, which formed a monolayer of cells on leaves. This can be explained by the severe conditions of the intertidal and the high leaf turn-over of Z. noltii leaves.  相似文献

Reefs in tropical atoll systems have historically been described on a geomorphic basis, and segregated into loosely defined fore-reef, back-reef, and lagoonal reef zones. However, recent oceanographic monitoring data have shown that physical factors within a single geomorphic zone can vary significantly, calling into question whether benthic communities within a single zone are biologically similar. To determine the amount of benthic variability that may occur in a geomorphic zone, percent cover of benthic organisms was determined at the species level for 28 sites in three geomorphic zones at French Frigate Shoals, Northwestern Hawai‘ian Islands. Multivariate statistical analyses found most windward fore-reef and back-reef sites to be statistically similar, but considerable variation to exist among sites within calmer lagoonal areas. Surveys revealed macroalgae to dominate over scleractinian coral species at the majority of sites in this healthy, subtropical reef system, although select lagoonal areas were dominated by dense coral communities.  相似文献

The species composition and distribution of marine plants on the fringing reef of Secoko Island were studied before and after the mass coral mortality in 1998. The study showed that changes in the bottom communities that occurred after bleaching of corals were caused by the presumed development of marine plants substituting reef-building corals on the bottom. The number of algal species grew from 211 to 345. The projective cover (PC) of hard substrate with macroalgae increased: in 1998, it was 1–10% in the subtidal zone and 20–50% in the intertidal zone, while in 2002 through 2005, the PC reached 71% in the subtidal and 40–85% in the intertidal zone. It is assumed that the phase of the “plant reef” on Sesoko Island is a temporary event, and that the coral reef can recover within several decades, unless a natural catastrophe occurs again.  相似文献

大气CO2浓度升高对陆生植物的影响引起广泛的关注,相对来讲,人们对大型海藻类与CO2浓度升高关系的研究则要薄弱得多,但近年来在这方面仍有很大进展。高CO2浓度下,许多大型海藻表现出光合能力下降,对海水中HCO3^-利用能力下降,并使得光合量子产额下降;而另一些大型海藻则没有上述光合作用的下调现象。另外,高CO2浓度下,大型海藻的其它许多生理过程(如生长、呼吸作用、营养盐代谢、生化组成以及钙化作用等),均发生了相应的变化。文章分析了影响高CO2浓度对大型海藻效应的主要因素,并对今后的研究作了展望。  相似文献

为揭示渔山列岛潮间带大型底栖动物现状,2009年3月至2010年1月在渔山列岛潮间带布设5条断面进行了4个季节的调查取样.利用Brey的经验公式计算了调查海区大型底栖动物栖息密度、生物量、次级生产力和P/B值.结果表明:该潮间带大型底栖动物平均栖息密度为1419.5ind.m-2,以去灰干质量(AFDM)计,平均生物量为565.53g.m-2,平均次级生产力为285.58g.m-2.a-1,P/B值为0.51.潮间带次级生产力受大型软体动物和甲壳类影响明显,5个关键生物种(条纹隔贻贝、偏顶蛤、覆瓦小蛇螺、日本笠藤壶和鳞笠藤壶)对次级生产力的贡献为84.0%.研究海域P/B值低于其他海域,说明该海域大型底栖动物世代更替速度较慢,群落结构较稳定.  相似文献

Fluxes of nutrients across habitats are of paramount relevance in ecological studies due to the implication in primary production, trophic structure and biodiversity. This study analyses the role of sandy beaches in the processing of organic matter. Three beaches with different macroalgal inputs were sampled throughout the annual cycle. The standing stock of wrack macroalgae on the beach surface and the nutrient concentration in the intertidal pore water (IPW) and in the surf zone water were measured monthly. Mean concentration of dissolved inorganic nitrogen and phosphate in the IPW increased from the low to the very high subsidized beach. Seasonal coupling was observed between the wrack biomass and the nutrient concentration throughout the year. Among the nutrient species, a variable relationship was found between the NH4 +/NO x ? ratio and the biomass of macroalgae deposited. These results provide evidences of the active role of sandy beaches in the processing of organic matter and in the nutrient cycling, remarking the feedback connectivity between sandy beaches and their neighbour ecosystems.  相似文献

Marine invertebrate grazing on temperate macroalgae may exert a significant “top-down” control on macroalgal biomass. We conducted two laboratory experiments to test (1) if consumption by the omnivorous mud snail Ilyanassa obsoleta (Say) on the macroalga Ulva lactuca Linnaeus was a function of food quality (nitrogen content) and (2) if grazing on benthic macroalgae occurred at significant rates in the presence of alternative food sources in the sediment (detritus, larvae, benthic microalgae). Grazing rates were higher for N-enriched macroalgae; however, all snails lost weight when grazing on macroalgae alone, indicating that U. lactuca was a poor food source. The presence of sediment from two sites, a sandy lagoon and an adjacent organic-rich muddy tidal creek, did not affect consumption of macroalgae in microcosm experiments, and the grazing snails were capable of significantly reducing macroalgal biomass associated with both sediment types. Grazing rates by this omnivore were as high as 10.83 mg wet weight·individuals 1·d 1 and were similar to those recorded for herbivorous species. In situ loss rates calculated from average grazing rates per individual and snail abundances (up to 3.5 g dry weight·m 2·d 1) also were comparable with those calculated for herbivorous species. This level of grazing could remove up to 88% of new macroalgal growth at the lagoon site where the N supply was relatively low but had a much smaller effect (18% of new growth) at the high-nutrient creek site. Snails facilitated macroalgal growth at both sites by increasing tissue N content by 40%–80%. Consumption and digestion of macroalgae aided in the recycling of nutrients temporarily bound in the algae and resulted in enrichment of surficial sediments. Increased N sequestration in the sediments also was associated with an interruption of snail burrowing behavior due to persistent anoxia in sediments rich in decaying algal material. Our data suggest that in shallow lagoons where mud snails and benthic macroalgae coexist, grazing may influence N retention in macroalgal biomass.  相似文献

The decline or loss of habitat-forming species has affected rocky shore marine communities worldwide. Many short-term studies have documented the initiation of cascading effects due to canopy losses of macroalgae, but relatively few studies have followed recovery dynamics over many years. Here, we show that the experimental removal of a dominant intertidal fucoid in southern New Zealand had numerous community effects up to 8 years later. Even though the dominant fucoid returned to a nearly closed canopy, there remained many differences between disturbed and control communities. The disturbed treatments had lower plant density and biomass of the dominant fucoid, fewer species and more turfing coralline algae than controls. Plots with press disturbances were more affected than those with pulse disturbances. The negative feedback of turfing algae on the recovery of fucoid recruitment resulted in effects on cover and diversity in the wider community being evident after 8 years. We discuss the feedbacks between fucoids, benthic turfing algae and community recovery and argue that if biodiversity impacts on marine rocky reefs are to be understood, the role of non-trophic interactions in structure, function and dynamics must be better delineated.  相似文献

2009-2010年在洋山港海域大洋山岛和圣姑礁进行四个季度潮间带大型底栖动物生态学研究。共采集到大型底栖动物61种,以广布种为主,部分为河口低盐种,其中软体动物22种,环节动物16种,节肢动物12种,苔藓动物5种,腔肠动物4种,星虫动物和棘皮动物各1种。优势种为短滨螺(Littorina brevicula)、多齿围沙蚕(Perinereis nuntia)、日本笠藤壶(Tetraclita japonica)、齿纹蜒螺(Nerita yoldii)和特异大权蟹(Macromedaeus distinguendus)。丰度和生物量在不同季节明显不同(P<0.05):丰度的最高值出现在春季,为(3204.9±837.84)个/m2,最低值出现在秋季,仅为(2213.2±731.27)个/m2;生物量的最高值则出现在夏季(2233.2±1493.42)g/m2,冬季最少,仅为(819.95±484.80) g/m2。大洋山岛和圣姑礁的丰度和生物量具有较大差异(P<0.05):年均丰度以大洋山断面较高,为(3090±742.74)个/m2,圣姑礁断面较低,为(2133±372.51)个/m2;而年均生物量则以圣姑礁断面较高,为(1711.1±1180.76) g/m2,大洋山断面较低,仅为(1028.5±627.61) g/m2。运用ABC曲线、等级聚类和MDS对大型底栖动物群落结构分析发现:大洋山潮带间大型底栖动物群落尚未受到干扰或干扰较轻,群落结构相对稳定;而圣姑礁断面的潮间带大型底栖动物群落受到了中度的干扰,群落结构稳定性下降。与15年前的研究相比,圣姑礁大型底栖动物的密度和生物量均有大幅度的降低,这与洋山港海域盐度的升高、生态环境变化和人为干扰强度增加等有关。  相似文献

Echinolittorina peruviana is the most common gastropod in the high intertidal zone of Peru, representing more than 80% of the individuals present at that zone. Experimental removal of snails was used to evaluate their effects on (a) abundance of epilithic biofilm, (b) barnacle recruitment, and (c) abundance of macroalgae under “normal” conditions of the El Niño Southern Oscillation (ENSO). Experiments were carried out from October 2005 to April 2007 at two intertidal levels of a semi-protected rocky shore of central Peru. Results demonstrated that E. peruviana is able to control biofilm abundance and barnacle recruitment at both heights investigated, with marked effects in the lower zone. Erect macroalgae (Ulva spp. and Gelidium spp.) were less affected by grazing; but negative effects were observed on macroalgal crusts. Season and physical stress seem to play a more important role in the abundance of macroalgae in the high intertidal. Our results are similar to those reported elsewhere for high shore littorinids and represent baseline data to understand how the role of intertidal consumers will vary under the cold (La Niña) and warm (El Niño) phases of ENSO on these shores.  相似文献
