林火是林地上自由蔓延的火,主要有计划火烧(控制火烧)和野火2种类型.火烧的严重程度决定了火灾的效果及其影响的持续时间.火能够通过燃烧有机质和改变粘土矿物来影响土壤结构,导致土壤容重增加和持水能力降低.长期来看,火烧引起土壤有机质减少.火烧之后土壤温度和pH值的升高会促进土壤呼吸,而微生物数量的减少、根系的死亡和可分解物质的减少则减弱土壤呼吸.林火消耗了森林的枯落物层,通过氧化、挥发、灰分颗粒对流、淋溶等途径减少了森林土壤的养分含量.火灾对土壤生物有重要影响,火灾引起的高温可直接杀死土壤微生物,同时通过改变土壤的各种理化性质及林地微环境,间接影响土壤微生物生存和群落的组成.火对土壤动物的影响显著小于对土壤微生物的影响,原因是前者具有更高的灵活性来逃避火灾.中低程度火烧主要通过土壤环境变化间接影响土壤酶,而严重火烧则通过高温直接使其变性.今后应开展跨学科的森林火灾长期研究,加强对火烧后土壤动物、微生物和生态系统之间相互关系的研究,注重计划用火、火灾对土壤有机碳、土壤养分库的稳定、土壤斥水性、水土流失强度和生物多样性影响方面的研究.  相似文献

Alkaline calcareous or sodic soils represent an important proportion of the world's arable soils and are important for cereal production. For calcareous soils in general, despite high applications of P fertiliser for many years, P deficiency in cereals is common. Field experiments were conducted to test the relative ability of granular (e.g. DAP, MAP and TSP) and fluid fertilisers to supply P to wheat on grey calcareous and red brown calcareous sandy loam soils (Calcixerollic xerochrepts). A pot experiment was also conducted with these soils and with two non-calcareous alkaline soils to investigate the effects of placement on the efficiency of fertiliser performance. In 1998, fluid and granular sources of P, N and Zn were compared in the field by banding below the seed at sowing. In 1999, MAP applied as granular, and technical grade MAP applied as fluid, were compared as sources of P in rate response experiments. First year results showed that fluid sources of P, N and Zn produced significantly more grain than the granular product. In the following year, fluid fertilisers were found to produce significantly higher response curves for shoot dry weight, grain yield and P uptake in grain. At a commercial rate of 8 kg P ha–1, fluid fertiliser produced between 22% and 27% more grain than the granular product. Soil moisture and fertiliser placement effects are implicated in the higher efficiency of fluid fertilisers.  相似文献

在对该区土壤进行全面调查、分析、评价的基础上,对影响土壤中元素有效态含量的因素如土壤类型、地貌类型、土地利用类型,以及砂化等进行讨论。结果表明,这些因素均影响到元素有效态含量。过度开垦和放牧是造成土壤沙化和肥力下降的主要原因。研究认为全理利用土地资源,实行退耕还草、还林、改善生态,以控制沙化和优化农、林、牧结构比,并结合配方施肥。则是提高粮食、牧草单产及经济效益的关键。  相似文献

The effect of a hot summer fire on soil nutrient contents in the upper 2 cm of Aleppo pine forest with a dense woody understory was studied from September 1985 to May 1986. In comparison with the adjacent unburned forest, total nitrogen decreased by 25% but available forms of nitrogen were much higher. In burned and unburned soils there was a similar trend to increase and decrease in NH 4 + −N, However, while (NO 2 +NO 3 −N decreased in the unburned soil it rose rapidly in the burned ash soil. Total phosphorus increased by 300% after the fire but decreased again 2 months later. Also water-soluble P increased up to November and then decreased to the levels of the unburned soils. The same was true for electrical conductivity and pH, increasing immediately after the fire and then leveling off again. This increase in nutrient levels in the “ash soil” was reflected in the striking increase in shoot and root biomass and in the content of N, P, Mg, K, Ca, Zn and Fe in wheat and clover plants grown in pots in these soils. These nutrient levels were much higher in the wheat plants, which also produced 12 times more seeds in the “ash soil.” It seems that fire in these pine forests causes a short-term flush of the mineral elements in the upper “ash soil” layer which is reverted gradually via the herbaceous post-fire to the ecosystem.  相似文献

Soil percolation columns in which a pF of 2 could be maintained were developed to study nitrification in soils and litter of an acid and a calcareous forest soil location. High nitrification rates were observed in the calcareous soil. In the acid soil nitrification was much slower. A column filled with leaf litter gave a low nitrification rate at the start of the experiment, but a high rate was found after 60 days of percolation with an ammonium-containing medium of pH 4. In this leaf litter high numbers of autotrophic bacteria were just present at the beginning of the experiment, whereas at the end only low numbers were detected. Results indicate that autotrophic bacteria from acid soils are sensitive to a pH increase.  相似文献

为揭示黄土高原子午岭林区不同演替阶段和植被类型主要树种养分再吸收特征,研究选取4种次生植被树种(白桦、山杨、辽东栎和油松)和2种人工植被树种(刺槐和侧柏),测定其成熟叶、凋落叶和林下土壤碳(C)、氮(N)、磷(P)含量,研究了叶片N、P再吸收率及其与养分指标的关系。结果表明:(1)不同树种叶片养分和林下土壤养分含量存在显著差异,土壤C、N含量和C∶N∶P计量比均表现为演替后期林地(辽东栎和油松)>演替前期林地(山杨和白桦)>人工林(侧柏和刺槐);(2)不同树种叶片N、P再吸收率分别为17.18%—43.34%和27.13%—58.12%,均表现为演替后期林地>人工林>演替前期林地,且P的再吸收率总体高于N的再吸收率;(3)不同树种叶片N、P再吸收率与叶片养分指标的关系强于土壤,与养分计量比的相关性大于养分含量的相关性。说明子午岭典型植被会通过叶片N、P再吸收来适应养分限制环境,尤其是演替后期植被再吸收能力更强,研究可为黄土高原植被恢复提供理论依据。  相似文献

The effects of the major soil nutrients and seven common metals on the distribution of nematophagous fungi were evaluated by comparing the concentration of the elements in soils with and without nematophagous fungi. Mineral nutrients, which were all positively correlated with nematode density, were the most important elements determining the presence of such fungi. Endoparasites producing adhesive conidia were independent of all the elements tested, while those species forming ingested conidia were isolated from soils high in nutrients, indicating a strong dependence on nematode density. Knob forming predators which rely on their ability to spontaneously produce traps to obtain nutrients were isolated from soils with low concentrations of mineral nutrients, while species with constricting rings were isolated from richer soils containing a greater density of nematodes. Net-forming species were largely independent of soil fertility, although generally they were isolated from soils with limited nutrientsd, especially K. Like other fungi, nematophagous fungi are generally not found in soils containing elevated concentrations of heavy metals. The results indicate that even concentrations of heavy metals which naturally occur in Irish soils can restrict the distribution of this fungal group. However the endoparasiteMeria coniospora is tolerant to all metals and to Cu in particular.  相似文献

通过土壤水分特征曲线的测定,研究了子午岭北部黄土丘陵区不同次生植被群落类型下土壤蓄水性能及水分有效含量的变化。结果表明:撂荒地的土壤蓄水量最小,草地和灌木地的土壤蓄水量有所提高,增幅为17%~65%,而乔木林地土壤蓄水量最大,分别较撂荒地和草地、灌木地增加明显,其增加幅度分别达68%~79%、41%~50%和15%~20%;土壤田间持水量在0~20cm土层从撂荒地、草地、灌木林地到乔木林地,土壤田问持水量逐步提高,而20~50cm土层则变化不大;土壤有效水含量在两个土层中的变化均随着植被的进展演替呈现增加的趋势。讨论了植被与土壤互动关系中应进一步研究的问题。  相似文献

The short-term effect of a single fire, and the long-term effect of recent fire history and successional stage on total and mineral N concentration, net nitrogen mineralization, and nitrification were evaluated in soils from a steep semi-arid shrubland chronosequence in southeast Spain. A single fire significantly increased soil mineral N availability and net nitrification. Increasing fire frequency in the last few decades was. associated with a sharp decrease in surface soil organic matter and total N concentrations and pools, and with changes in the long-term N dynamic patterns. The surface-soil extractable NH4 +:NO3 ratio increased throughout the chronosequence. All net mineralized N in laboratory incubations from all sites was converted to nitrate, suggesting that allelochemic inhibition of net nitrification is probably not important in this system. Net nitrification in samples during incubation increased through the sere. The maximum rate of net nitrification (kmax) increased through the first three stages of the sere. A linear relationship was found between total soil N and N mineralization, and both kmax and net nitrification for the first three stages of the sere, suggesting that total N and ammonification are likely to be the control mechanisms of nitrification within the sere. The oldest site exhibited the lowest specific kmax and the highest, potential soil respiration rate suggesting that a lower N quality and increasing competition for ammonium might also limit nitrification at least in the long-unburned garrigue site.  相似文献

燃烧剩余物是火烧迹地土壤表面必然存在的残留物,可以通过降水过程以及地表径流释放其所含有的矿物质和有机质至土壤生态系统,从而在一定时间内持续地对火后生态系统恢复过程造成影响。但不同火行为下,相同的可燃物所产生的燃烧剩余物可能具有不同的生态学功能,为了认知火行为对燃烧剩余物的影响,进一步了解二者对火烧迹地生态恢复过程中养分循环和能量流动的潜在影响,探究了火行为对燃烧剩余物水溶性碳氮化学计量特征的影响。以红松人工林地表可燃物为实验材料,通过设置不同坡度和含水率为火行为的驱动因子,进行了森林可燃物床层地表上坡火和下坡火的室内模拟燃烧实验。用独立样本T检验、单因素方差分析、多因素方差分析探究了火环境对燃烧剩余物水溶性碳氮和火行为的影响,用基于距离的冗余分析(db-RDA)探究了火行为对燃烧剩余物水溶性碳氮化学计量特征的影响。上坡火实验组的燃烧剩余物水溶性碳氮含量明显高于下坡火实验组(P<0.01);5°实验组中,燃烧剩余物的水溶性碳含量随着可燃物预设含水率的升高而升高(P<0.05)。进一步的数据分析发现火行为与燃烧剩余物水溶性碳氮化学计量特征关系密切,火焰宽度是影响燃烧剩余物水溶性...  相似文献

研究了恩诺沙星残留对土壤呼吸作用、纤维分解作用、氨化作用、硝化作用的影响 ,结果表明 ,相对较低浓度恩诺沙星残留(0 .0 1μg/ g土 ,0 .1μg/ g土 )刺激土壤呼吸作用 ,相对较高浓度恩诺沙星残留 (1μg/ g土 )对土壤呼吸作用产生抑制 ,药物作用活性维持期为 6 d;恩诺沙星残留对土壤纤维分解作用影响较不明显 ;较低浓度恩诺沙星残留 (0 .0 1μg/ g土 ,0 .1μg/ g土 )对土壤氨化作用有刺激作用 ,而较高浓度恩诺沙星残留 (1μg/ g土 ,10μg/ g土 )则会对其起抑制作用 ,药物作用活性期为 9d;不同浓度恩诺沙星对土壤硝化作用影响极其显著 ,当恩诺沙星浓度达到 1μg/ ml时 ,在 3~ 9d内 ,对土壤硝化作用有一定抑制作用。当恩诺沙星浓度达到 10μg/ ml时 ,强烈抑制了土壤硝化作用 ,直到本试验结束时 ,其抑制作用未见减弱。结果表明恩诺沙星残留影响了土壤微生物这些功能 ,因而可能影响到土壤特性和土壤中一些生态过程  相似文献

Gross and net nitrogen (N) ammonification and nitrification were measured in soils from an uncut and recently cut upland and peatland conifer stand in northwestern Ontario, Canada. Rates of gross total inorganic N immobilization were similar to gross mineralization, resulting in low net mineralization rates in soils from all four upland and peatland conifer stands. Gross ammonification rates were variable but similar in soils from uncut and cut peatland hollows (18–19mgNkg–1day–1) and upland forest floor soils (14–19mgNkg–1day–1). Gross ammonium ( ) immobilization rates were also variable but similar to ammonification rates. Median gross nitrification rates were within 0–2mgNkg–1day–1 in soils from all four upland and peatland cut and uncut stands, although rates were consistently higher for the soils from the cut stands. Large variability in gross nitrification rates were observed in peatland soils, however the highest gross nitrification rates were measured in saturated peatland soils. Net rates remained low in the soils from all four stands due to high nitrate ( ) immobilization and very fast turnover (<0.2 day). Our results suggest that potential losses may be negated by high immobilization in uncut and cut boreal forest stands. This study reveals the potential for the interaction of N production and consumption processes in regulating N retention in upland and peatland conifer forests, and the resilience of the boreal forest to disturbance.  相似文献

通过野外模拟实验,研究3个氮沉降水平,CK(对照,0 kg·hm-2·a-1)、LN(低氮,30 kg·hm-2·a-1)和HN(高氮,100 kg·hm-2·a-1)处理对亚热带针叶(杉木)和阔叶(罗浮栲、浙江桂)森林土壤中微量元素Ni、Cu、Zn含量的影响。结果表明:就不同的林分来看,3种微量元素的含量大致呈杉木林>罗浮栲林>浙江桂林,施氮3 d后,浙江桂林和罗浮栲林土壤中3种微量元素在各处理之间差异不显著,仅发现杉木林土壤中的Ni含量在CK处理与LN及HN处理之间和无凋落物土壤中Cu含量在HN与CK及LN之间的差异显著; 3片林分中土壤表面有无凋落物处理总体对3种微量元素含量的影响不大。与施氮前相比,3片林分土壤中的Ni、Cu、Zn含量均有所下降,且浙江桂林在LN处理的降幅最大。  相似文献

The effect of heating and autoclaving on extractable nitrogen, N mineralisation and C metabolism was studied by heating five forest soils in the laboratory, simulating the range of effects of heat due to bushfire. Top soil (0–5 cm) was heated to 60 °C, 120 °C and 250 °C for 30 minutes; unheated soil was taken as a control. Samples of the soil heated to 250 °C were also inoculated with fresh soil to accelerate the recovery of the microbial population. Soil autoclaving was carried out as another heat treatment (moist heat). Soils were analysed immediately after heating and 3 times during seven months of incubation to assess immediate and longer-term effects of heating.Extractable N (organic and mineral forms) increased after heating to 120 °C, but decreased with further heating to 250 °C suggesting the volatilisation of N. N associated with microbial biomass diminished with heating and was barely detectable after the 250 °C treatment. Microbial biomass was an important source of soluble N in heated soils, and only partly recovered during subsequent long incubation. The amount of N mineralised during incubation depended on both soil and temperature. Nitrification did not occur when soils were heated to 250 °C (with or without inoculum), or after autoclaving, demonstrating the high sensitivity of nitrifiers to heat. At the beginning of soil incubation, respiration was enhanced in heated soils (250 °C, 250 °C inoculated) and autoclaved soils, but after 30 days of incubation respiration decreased to values either similar to or lower than those in control. This respiration pattern indicated that a fraction of labile C was released by heating, which was quickly mineralised within 30 days of incubation. These results demonstrate some effects of soil heating on C and N dynamics in forest soils.  相似文献

The effect of the amendment with alginite, an organic rock originating from the biomass of fossilized unicellular algae, on microbial activity of forest soils was tested using a pot experiment. Five variants of soil-alginite mixtures were tested in three replicates with two forest soils: a loose sandy soil and a sandy loam. Gravimetric moisture closely correlated with the dose of alginite in both soils. Basal respiration and catalase activity increased with the dose of alginite in the sandy soil, but not in the sandy loam, where the highest response was observed at intermediate doses of alginite. The correlations of microbial activity parameters with moisture in the sandy soil were also much closer than in the sandy loam. The amendment with alginite was thus effective in improving some of the selected microbial activity indicators, but the optimum dose of alginite strongly depends on soil texture.  相似文献

Fluxes of nitrous oxide (N2O), carbon dioxide (CO2), and methane (CH4) between soils and the atmosphere were measured monthly for one year in a 77-year-old temperate hardwood forest following a simulated hurricane blowdown. Emissions of CO2 and uptake of CH4 for the control plot were 4.92 MT C ha−1 y−1 and 3.87 kg C ha−1 y−1, respectively, and were not significantly different from the blowdown plot. Annual N2O emissions in the control plot (0.23 kg N ha−1 y−1) were low and were reduced 78% by the blowdown. Net N mineralization was not affected by the blowdown. Net nitrification was greater in the blowdown than in the control, however, the absolute rate of net nitrification, as well as the proportion of mineralized N that was nitrified, remained low. Fluxes of CO2 and CH4 were correlated positively to soil temperature, and CH, uptake showed a negative relationship to soil moisture. Substantial resprouting and leafing out of downed or damaged trees, and increased growth of understory vegetation following the blowdown, were probably responsible for the relatively small differences in soil temperature, moisture, N availability, and net N mineralization and net nitrification between the control and blowdown plots, thus resulting in no change in CO2 or CH4 fluxes, and no increase in N2O emissions.  相似文献

Aim To determine the soil characteristics of Nothofagus‐dominated rain forests in an ultramafic region (i.e. soils having high concentrations of metals including Mg, Fe and Ni), and whether soil characteristics may explain the location of monodominant rain forest in relation to adjacent mixed rain forest and maquis (shrub‐dominated vegetation). Location New Caledonia. Methods Soil characteristics were compared among six Nothofagus‐dominated rain forests from a range of altitudes and topographic positions. At four of these sites, comparisons were made with soils of adjacent mixed rain forest and maquis. Results Soil characteristics varied among the monodominant Nothofagus forests, largely due to differences between ultramafic soils and soils influenced by non‐ultramafic intrusions. The soils of all vegetation types had low concentrations of nutrients, particularly P, K and Ca (both total and extractable/exchangeable), and high total concentrations of Ni, Fe, Cr and Mn. There were significant differences between the rain forests and adjacent maquis in soil concentrations of several elements (N, P, Ca, Mg and Mn), more so in surface soils than at depth, but much of this pattern may be caused by effects of vegetation on the soil, rather than of soil on the vegetation. However, there were no significant differences in soil concentrations of any mineral elements between Nothofagus forest and adjacent mixed rain forest. Main conclusions We found no evidence for soil mediation of boundaries of Nothofagus rain forest with mixed rain forest, and little evidence for the boundaries of either forest type with maquis. We suggest that the local abrupt boundaries of these monodominant Nothofagus forests are directly related to temporal factors, such as time since the last wildfire and frequency of wildfire, and that disturbance is therefore a major causal factor in the occurrence of these forests.  相似文献

N2O emissions from two slightly alkaline sandy soils, from arable land and a woodland, were determined in a laboratory experiment in which the soils were incubated with different sources of nitrogen, with or without glucose, and with 0, 1 and 100 mL C2H2 L-1. Large differences in the rate of N2O production were observed between the two soils and between the different N treatments. The arable soil showed very low N2O emissions derived from reduced forms of N as compared with the N2O which was produced when the soil was provided with NO 2 - or NO 3 - and a C source, suggesting a very active denitrifier population. In contrast, the woodland soil showed a very low denitrification activity and a much higher N2O production derived from the oxidation of NH 4 + and reduction of NO 2 - by some processes probably mediated by autotrophic or heterotrophic nitrifiers or dissimilatory NO 2 - reducers. In both soils, the highest N2O emissions were induced by NO 2 - addition. Those emissions were demonstrated to have a biological origin, as no significant N2O emissions were measured when the soil was autoclaved.  相似文献

Despite a long history of application of phosphorus fertilisers, P deficiency is still a major limitation to crop production on calcareous soils. Recent field research conducted in highly calcareous soils in southern Australia has demonstrated that both grain yield and P uptake of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) is greater when fluid forms of P are used compared to granular forms. To improve our understanding of the mechanisms underlying this response to P in the field, we compared the lability, solubility and mobility of P applied as either a fluid (3 products) or granular (3 products) form to two calcareous and one alkaline non-calcareous soils in the laboratory. Over a five-week period, between 9.5 and 18 % of the P initially present in the fertiliser granules did not diffuse into the surrounding soil. The degree of granule dissolution was independent of the soil type. In contrast, P solubility, lability and diffusion were significantly greater when fluid products were applied to the calcareous soils, but not to the alkaline non-calcareous soil. These findings are discussed in relation to field trials results where fluid products outperformed granular fertilisers.  相似文献
