A phylogenetic hypothesis of the subgenus Nialoe (s. lat.) of genus Pterostichus is proposed based on a cladistic analysis of seventeen morphological characters. Through comparative studies of the sclerites on the endophallus of male genitalia, it became apparent that the arrangement of these sclerites reflects seven different origins. The results show that Nialoe (s. lat.) is monophyletic and composed of four clades, while some traditional taxa are para- or polyphyletic, and are defined only by symplesiomorphies. Pterostichus (Nialoe) mosaicus sp. nov., which is indispensable for tracing the homology of sclerites in this subgenus, is described.  相似文献

Abstract A study is made with the rare Oriental Buprestidae genus Nippoduprestis Obenberger, 1942. Four new species are described under the names: Nipponobuprcstis rubrocinctus sp. nov., N. guangxiensis sp. nov., N. orientalis sp. nov. and N. bilyi sp. nov. The two historic species N. amabilis (Shell van Voll.), 1864, and N. querceti (Saunders), 1973, are redescribed in the same time. We describe a new Nosopsyllus s. sto., N. atsbi, from the north of Ethiopia, that shows phyletic similarities with N. incisus (Jordan & Rothschild, 1913), a species from the oriental part of the afrotropical region. This led us to reconsider the classification of the incisus populations based on the unique criteria of telomere's setation (three robust marginal bristles, instead of the two typically present in members of this genus and subgenus). It appears that N. incisus s. sto. occurs in north-eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kenya, Burundi and Tanzania. In the north and south of this region (respectively central Ethiopia, on one hand, Zambia and Malawi, on the other hand), two taxa are morphologically distinct and we erect them here to the rank of subspecies: Nosopsyllus (N.) incisus traubi n. ssp. and N. (N.) incisus lewisi n. ssp. Actually, four taxa are in "incisus complex", namely: N. atsbi n. sp., N. incisus traubi n. ssp., N. incisus incisus (Jordan & Rothschild, 1913), and N. incisus lewisi n. ssp.  相似文献

The genus Diplotaxis (Brassicaceae) in the Cape Verde Islands, W Africa, is revised. Nine taxa are accepted, of which five are described as new: D. antoniensis sp. nov., D. glauca, D. gorgadensis sp. nov., D. gorgadensis ssp. brochmannii ssp. nov., D. gracilis, D. hirta, D. sundingii sp. nov., D. varia sp. nov., and D. vogelii . All species are suffruticose, yellow-flowered perennials and belong to sect. Catocarpum . The species are endemic to the Cape Verde Islands, but show morphological and karyolog-ical affinity to the N African and Mediterranean D. harra s. lat. Analyses of morphological variation in 90 populations (400 plants) revealed a complex pattern, in particular in vegetative characters, most likely evolved by parallel ecogeographical differentiation in different islands. The chromosome number is 2n = 26 (n = 13) in the five taxa investigated. Self-pollination experiments indicate that the species are self-incompatible and outcrossing. Experimental F1 hybrids with full seed set after open pollination were obtained in 30 interspecific combinations, and the taxa are considered fully interfertile. The taxa are thus isolated mainly by geographical and partly by ecological barriers and have evolved by vicariant evolution (most islands) and adaptive radiation (one island).  相似文献

An experimental investigation of the mainly white-flowered Scutellaria albida group in the Aegean area was carried out. Eight populations representing maximum morphological variation as well as geographic separation were chosen for crosses between populations. Strong sterility barriers were observed in the Cretean endemic species, S. sieberi Benth., which also deviated morphologically and is probably an ancient relic. Strong crossing barriers were also found in plants from Euboea, and, in spite of little morphological differentiation from S. albida L. s. str., they are treated as a separate species, S. goulimyi Rech. fil. Crossing barriers of intermediate strength were present in morphologically distinct material from N Sporades, which is also treated as a separate species, S. sporadum Bothmer sp. nov. All other populations showed high compatibility in crosses among themselves, viz. populations from Bulgaria, Thrace, Andros, Naxos, and Rodhos. These were treated as the same species, S. albida , having large local as well as clinal variation. Three subspecies are retained: ssp. albida in the north; ssp. perhispida (Bornm.) Bothmer in E Macedonia, Thrace and on the islands; and the mainly purple-flowered, ssp. vacillans (Rech. fil.) Bothmer, endemic to the peninsula of Athos. Evolutionary pathways and phytogeographical patterns are discussed.
S. sporadum is mainly inbreeding and, in S. sieberi , indications of a self-incompatibility system were found. The other taxa have a more versatile system.  相似文献

A key is provided for the identification of the thirty-eight psyllid species recorded from Alaska. Additional notes on host plant and distribution are given for each species. (=T.maura auctt. N.Amer.), T.stylifera Patch, Trioza sp.nov. (undescribed). All the newly described species were collected on Salix. The Alaskan fauna is made up of four major components: 1, true Arctic species; 2, Arctic/subarctic species; 3, subarctic/alpine species; 4, northern forest zone species. Eight of the Alaskan psyllids exhibit an holarctic distribution and there is a strong faunal affinity with similar areas in northern Scandinavia: the same four genera recur throughout the northern holarctic. There is strong circumstantial evidence that certain psyllid species are parthogenetic over part of their range, particularly in arctic/alpine situations.  相似文献

Three new species of Neotibilis Grazia & Barcellos are described from Brazilian Amazon region and Ecuador, based on general and genital morphology: Neotibilis (Neotibilis) claviformis sp. nov., Neotibilis (Neotibilis) ecuadorensis sp. nov. and Neotibilis (Neotibilis) manauara sp. nov. Illustrations and a key to species of the type subgenus are given. The range of Neotibilis is expanded, with new records for N. (N.) biguttata (Walker)--Brazil (Amazonas) and N. Mendes) comb, nov., Sporidesmium seminale (Ellis & Everh.) comb, nov., and Stenella praelonga (Syd.) comb. nov. are introduced. Cercospora litseae Henn. is reduced to synonym with Mycovellosiella litseae Meenu et al., and a second collection of Cercosporella indica from Vietnam is recorded.  相似文献

对膜翅目叶蜂科平背叶蜂亚科的片角叶蜂属Indostegia Malaise进行了系统研究,描述了分布于中国川滇黔地区的4个新种:多齿片角叶蜂Indostegia multidenticula sp nov,短角片角叶蜂I brevicornis sp.nov,黑股片角叶蜂I.nigrofemorata sp nov.和短刃片角叶蜂I.breviserrula sp.nov..基于新的材料重新描述了片角叶蜂属的属征,编制了片角叶蜂属分种检索表.新种模式标本分别保存于中南林学院昆虫标本室和中国科学院动物研究所.  相似文献
