压电石英晶体生物传感器是利用压电石英晶体振荡频率对晶体表面质量负载和表面性状如密度、粘度、电导、介电常数等的高度敏感性与生物识别分子的高度特异性相结合发展起来的一种新型传感器。它具有灵敏度高、特异性好;操作简单,不需任何标记;检测速度快,成本低廉等特点,有望成为临床实验诊断大规模应用的方法。仪器体积小,重量轻,能实时检测,是获得在线信息强有力的手段,特别适于环境监测、食品卫生监督、工业生产实时监测等野外流动作业和在线检测。本就压电石英晶体生物传感器的原理、基本结构、特点及其应用等方面进行综述。  相似文献

The recent development of piezoelectric devices as biosensors is reviewed. Biological materials, like enzymes, lipids, antibodies and antigens, have been used as specific coatings and were utilized for the determination of different substrates. Methods of protein coating and several applications are reported including microgravimetric immunoassays, microbial assays, DNA hybridization, enzyme detections and gas phase biosensors. Although the piezoelectric immunochemical sensor is convenient to use and very promising, a thorough understanding of the different phenomena associated with crystals frequency measurement in biological reactions is still lacking and deserves further investigation.  相似文献

Many advanced medical and biological devices require microscale patterning of cells, proteins, and other biological materials. This article describes the use of piezoelectric ink jet processing in the fabrication of biosensors, cell-based assays, and other microscale medical devices. A microelectromechanical system-based piezoelectric transducer was used to develop uniform fluid flow through nozzles and to prepare well-defined microscale patterns of proteins, monofunctional acrylate ester, sinapinic acid, deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), and DNA scaffolds on relevant substrates. Our results demonstrate that piezoelectric ink jet deposition is a powerful non-contact, non-destructive additive process for developing biosensors, cell culture systems, and other devices for medical and biological applications.  相似文献

Bilirubin, is a tetrapyrrole yellow coloured compound found in digestive juice. It is generated from degradation of hemoglobin (Hb). The normal range of total bilirubin in serum is 0.30–1.20 mg/dl. The elevated range of serum bilirubin is considered as biomarker for finding and therapeutic administration of many liver diseases. Various analytical methods for determination of bilirubin, including spectrophotometery, thin layer chromatography, fluorometry, capillary electrophoresis, high performance liquid chromatographic, polarography and chemiluminescence have been applied for clinical purposes. These conventional methods are tedious, time-consuming, and require costly equipments and skilled person to operate. To overcome these limitations, the most popular biosensing technology has been employed at a large scale. The present review describes the principle, advantages and disadvantages of different analytic methods for measurement of bilirubin with focusing on biosensors, including electrochemical, photo-electrochemical, piezoelectric, optical and luminescent biosensors in detail. The working conditions for optimum activity and shelf life of all bilirubin biosensors have been summarized & compared and their future perspectives are discussed.  相似文献

  大肠埃希氏菌、李斯特氏菌和鼠伤寒沙门氏菌等几种食源性致病菌不仅威胁到人们的 生命安全,还会造成巨大的社会经济损失.生物传感器是将生物识别元件和信号转换元件紧 密结合,从而检测目标化合物的分析装置.生物传感器在致病菌检测方面具有分析速度快、 灵敏度高、专一性强等特点;可分为光学式、电化学式、压电式生物传感器等;在检测食源 性致病菌方面生物传感器表现出能够满足实际应用的发展潜力,但是生物传感器目前仍面临 并需要解决一些问题,这也是生物传感器从实验室到市场如此缓慢的原因.最后提出了实际 检测应用中对生物传感器的要求.  相似文献

Proof-in-concept biosensors were prepared for the rapid detection of Salmonella typhimurium in solution, based on affinity-selected filamentous phage prepared as probes physically adsorbed to piezoelectric transducers. Quantitative deposition studies indicated that approximately 3 x 10(10)phage particles/cm(2) could be irreversibly adsorbed for 1 h at room temperature to prepare working biosensors. The quality of phage deposition was monitored by fluorescent microscopy. Specific-bacterial binding resulted in resonance frequency changes of prepared sensors, which were evaluated using linear regression analysis. Sensors possessed a rapid response time of <180 s, had a low-detection limit of 10(2)cells/ml and were linear over a range of 10(1)-10(7)cells/ml with a sensitivity of 10.9 Hz per order of magnitude of S. typhimurium concentration. Viscosity effects due to increasing bacterial concentration and non-specific binding were not significant to the piezoelectric platform as confirmed by dose-response analysis. Phage-bacterial binding was confirmed by fluorescence and scanning electron microscopy. Overall, phage may constitute effective bioreceptors for use with analytical platforms for detecting and monitoring bacterial agents, including use in food products and possibly biological warfare applications.  相似文献

Compared to advances in enzyme sensors, immunosensors, and microbial biosensors, relatively little work exists on DNA based biosensors. Here we review the DNA based biosensors that rely on nucleic acid hybridization. Major types DNA biosensors--electrochemical, optical, acoustic, and piezoelectric--are introduced and compared. The specificity and response characteristics of DNA biosensors are discussed. Overall, a promising future is foreseen for the DNA based sensor technology.  相似文献

In this work three piezoelectric sensors modified with anti-HIV-1 Vif (virion infectivity factor) single fragment antibodies (4BL scFV), single domains (VH) and camelized single domains (VHD) were constructed and used to detect HIV1 Vif in liquid samples. Dithio-bis-succinimidyl-undecanoate (DSU) and 11-hydroxy-1-undecanethiol (HUT) mixed self assembled monolayers (SAM) were generated at the sensors surface onto which the antibodies were immobilized. All sensors detected specifically the target HIV1-Vif antigen in solution and no unspecific binding was monitored. Impedance analysis was performed to quantify electroacoustic and viscoelastic interferences during antibody immobilization and antigen recognition. The elimination of such interferences enabled the quantitative use of the piezoelectric immunosensors to estimate the antibody surface density as well as antigen binding and equilibrium constants. In spite of the possible limitation regarding mass transport and other related molecular phenomena, which were not considered in the binding model used, this work demonstrates the usefulness of piezoelectric biosensors in biorecognition analysis and evidences the advantages on using simultaneous impedance analysis to bring analytical significance to measured data, and thus to improve piezoelectric sensors sensitivity and applicability.  相似文献
