A new species ofCestrum from the Cordillera de Mérida in Trujillo state is described and illustrated.Cestrum darcyanum, morphologically similar toC. microcalyx Francey, is distinguished by dendritic pubescence on its branchlets and leaves, larger corolla, stamens distended and geniculate above their point of adnation to the corolla, and larger calyx. A key is provided for species of VenezuelanCestrum possessing dendritic pubescence.  相似文献

A new species, Cuscuta cotijana, is described and illustrated from the Trans-Mexican Volcanic Belt in northwestern Michoacán, Mexico. The species is most closely related to Cuscuta jalapensis, C. mitriformis, C. rugosiceps and C. lindsayi, from which it differs by the large spur-like projections on the outer calyx lobes and the ovoid to conical capsule with a small intrastylar aperture.  相似文献

Two new oribatid mite species of the genus Truncozetes (Oribatida, Epactozetidae), Truncozetes ecuadoriensissp. n. and Truncozetes monodactylussp. n., are described from the Ecuadorian soils. The morphology of the gnathosoma and the legs is presented in detail for the first time for the species of Truncozetes. Tangius indicus sp. n. (Batrisitae: Batrisini) is described and illustrated from the Indian States of Meghalaya (Khasi Hills, type locality) and West Bengal (Darjeeling). A new species, Phoenicopsis anadyrensis Nosova, is described based on the leaf morphology and cuticle features from the Maastrichtian–Danian Rarytkin Formation, Chukotka, North-East of Russia. It is characterized by hypostomatic leaves with stomatal bands on the abaxial side, undulate anticlinal epidermal cell walls and papillae on the epidermal cells and on the subsidiary cells of the stomata. The new species is the youngest reliable representative of the genus Phoenicopsis. This record extends the stratigraphic range of Phoenicopsis from its previously known latest records in the early Campanian up to Maastrichtian–Danian. The persistence of the genus Phoenicopsis up to the Cretaceous–Paleogene boundary is most likely related with vicinity to mountain floras associated with Late Cretaceous and Paleogene volcanic uplands.  相似文献

A new species Pholiota chocenensis is described based on collections from the Czech Republic and Italy. Both the macro- and micromorphology and the the ITS-LSU rDNA sequences showed that P. chocenensis differs from all European species of Pholiota sect. Spumosae. Its key diagnostic characters are: medium-sized fruitbodies, pileus strongly glutinous, yellow-brown to orange with a rusty-brown tinge, with paler margin covered by whitish fibrillose-flocculose veil remnants, stipe covered with distinct, dense, fibrillose-floccose to floccose-scaly veil remnants of yellow-rusty to rusty-orange colour, spores ovoid, 6.4–8?×?4.4–4.8 μm, abundant cheilo- and pleurocystidia of utriform to fusiform-lageniform shape, growth on soil. Molecularly, it is unique by a 68-bp-long insert in the ITS-LSU rDNA gene which is absent in other Pholiota species. Similar European and North American taxa are compared. A possible synonymy of P. brunnescens with P. highlandensis is discussed.  相似文献

A new species attributed to the genus Parvifuzia Guo & Ren, 2011, Parvifuzia peregrinasp. n., is described from the Middle Jurassic Jiulongshan Formation of Daohugou Village, Inner Mongolia, China. This new species, with apex of wing almost reaching the end of the abdomen and forewing venation with 30-32 veins at margin, broadens the diversity of Parvifuzia. This new species, with strongly curved cerci, could tightly clasp female and complete copulation more efficiently, same as other members of the family Fuziidae.  相似文献

Se describe e ilustra a Croton guerreroanus, una especie nueva de Guerrero, México. Durante la revisión de la familia Euphorbiaceae para el estado de Guerrero, se colectaron ejemplares que no corresponden a ninguna especie conocida y se propone como una especie nueva. Esta nueva entidad se distingue de las especies relacionadas porque es un arbusto de hasta 1.5 m de altura, con tricomas estrellado-estipitados. La lámina de la hoja es membranacea y el margen es entero, las estípulas son foliáceas, de 3–10 mm de largo, reniformes en la base y lineares en el ápice. Además la flor pistilada presenta pedicelo de 2–3 mm de largo, los sépalos son ovado-oblongos, con un nervio prominente en la cara abaxial y los estilos son bifurcados tres veces.  相似文献

A new curimatid fish, Curimata gnaca, from two localities, both in the neighborhoods of Resistencia, Chaco Province, Argentine, is described. The species is distinguished from other curimatids by the position of the mouth, a low number of perforated scales in lateral line, scales with straight margin on sides of body and long pectoral fins. A new species of scorpion belonging to the genus Auyantepuia González-Sponga, 1978 (family Chactidae Pocock, 1893) is described on the basis of three specimens collected in a rainforest formation located in Saut Sabbat, South of Mana, French Guiana. This is the tenth species of the Guiano-Amazonian genus Auyantepuia, and the fifth reported from French Guiana.  相似文献

A new species of rodent of the genus Phyllotis is described based in cranial and external morphology, as well as morphometric data. Additionally, sequences of the mitochondrial gene cytochrome-b were used to asses the phylogenetic relationships. We have compared our specimens with all the extant species of the genus Phyllotis and also with some species of related genera, particularly with the most similar and with those that occur in the province of Tucumán and northwestern Argentina. The new species is large compared to the average size of the genus, and can be easily distinguished from all other species essentially by coloration and by cranial morphology. It is closely related to the recently described P. anitae, and these two species are, in turn, sister to P. osilae. The only two localities where the new species has been found are in the Upper Montane Forests of the southern portion of the Yungas Ecoregion, in the province of Tucumán, Argentina.  相似文献
