The liver copper levels of a number of game animals in Kenya were determined. It was found that the results fell naturally into two fairly distinct groups; for those with simple and those with complex stomachs respectively. The latter, generally speaking, had a higher mean content and a much greater range, with more individual variation. An exception to this was the hippopotamus which appeared to have a much higher content of liver copper than others in the simple stomach group.  相似文献

Structure and distribution of vascular bundles (VB) have been investigated in petioles of 26 herbaceous and woody dicotyledons. No single pattern of vascular bundle distribution could be found for both groups of plants. Both groups of plants had VB patterns ranging from a cylinder to separate bundles arranged in a variety of patterns, e.g., distorted cylinder, various configurations of a crescent, and other types. The total number of xylem vessels in herbaceous and woody plant petioles varied between 110 and 1756.  相似文献

本文研究了海流域各类植物硫元素含量特征及与土壤硫素的关系,结果表明:海河流域植物全硫量平均值为0.232%,为正常含量的下限值,与我国南,北方一些地区比较属中等水平,其中栽培植物略高于野生植物,植物硫含量范围差别悬殊,最大值可为最小值的26倍,以沿大城市的水系和地区的植物含硫量高,海流域的土壤全硫含量平均值为0.043%(指耕地和天然植被的土壤),为正常土壤含量的中上水平,植物硫元素含量与土壤硫含  相似文献

本文首次报道了川百台(Lilium davidii)、华山松(Pinus armardii)和七叶一枝花(Paris polyphylla)等植物染色体G-带研究结果。本试验的G-带与以往的C-带不同,C-带每条染色体上一般只有1-4条带,多分布在着丝点附近,而G-带则多达几十条,分布在整条染色体上,带纹清晰,前期染色体带呈颗粒状,中期染色体呈明显的带状,与哺乳动物染色体G-带很相似。G-带的数目取决于染色体浓缩的程度。前期染色体带纹数目是中期的三倍,接近人类高分辨带水平。对G-带带纹采用了自动光谱分析,波峰数值与带纹相符。作者同时介绍了胰酶法在植物染色体G-带中的应用。认为此方法既适合动物亦适用于植物。但植物G-带显示的关键可能不在胰酶法本身,而在合适的分裂时期及染色体处理技术。  相似文献
