TWO NEW SPECIES OF CONIDIOBOLUS FOUND IN PLANT DETRITUS

Drechsler , Charles . (Plant Industry Sta., Beltsville, Md.) Two new species of Conidiobolus found in plant detritus. Amer. Jour. Bot. 47(5) : 368—377. Illus. 1960.–By canopying Petri plates of maize-meal agar with small quantities of friable or mealy plant detritus 2 new species of Conidiobolus, both of moderate dimensions, were isolated. They are described as C. incongruus and C. multivagus. The former, obtained from leaf mold collected in Colorado, produces zygospores which with respect to their internal organization differ markedly from those of congeneric species but resemble rather closely the globuliferous zygospores of Basidiobolus haptosporus and B. meristosporus. Conidiobolus multivagus, obtained from decayed twigs of Casuarina equisetifolia gathered in western Florida, forms a mycelium that soon becomes conspicuously disconnected. The disconnected condition here results partly from the production of many detached slender filaments, which, by constantly withdrawing protoplasmic materials from the posterior end while elongating at the tip, migrate through the slated substratum apparently without any intake of nutrients. The detached conidia of C. incongruus are provided with a more prominent basal papilla than those of C. multivagus, though both species show equally sharp demarcation between the globose main contour of the conidium and the dome-shaped contour of the papillia.     

子囊菌二新种

本文报道在我国东北地区发现寄生在落叶松(Larix Mill.)上的二个子囊菌新种——多孢小黑腐皮壳(Valsella multispora sp.nov.)及落叶松隐腐皮壳(Cryptovalsa laricina sp.nov.)。其形态特征有汉文和拉丁文描述以及显微照像图版。     

星球藻属Asterocapsa二新种

原植体球形,亚球形或长圆形,细胞单生或2, 4个细胞组成小群体,再由小群体组成大群体,群体直径8~17μm。细胞球形,不包括胶被直径为2~2.2μm,含胶被时直径为4~5.5μm,个体及群体胶被宽厚、坚硬、黄色、层理明显,密生黄色疣突状棘刺。原生质体均匀或具细小颗粒体,蓝绿色。     

柱隔孢属二新种*

柱隔孢属二新种:决明柱隔孢Ramularia cassiae,寄生在豆科(Leguminosae)云实亚科(Caesalpinioideae)望江南决明(Cassia occidentalis)上; 莲子草柱隔孢 (Ramularia alternantherae), 寄生在苋科(Amaranthaceae)喜旱莲子草(Alternanthera philoxeroides)上。柱隔孢属在云实亚科和苋科是首次报道。文中为新种提供了拉丁文描述和附图。模式标本保藏于云南农业大学真菌标本室(MHYAU)。     

含笑属二新种

本文发表了含笑属(Michelia)二新种:雅致含笑Michelia clegans Law etY.F.Wu, 溜叶含笑M.laevifolia Law et Y.F.Wu.     

毒蛾科两新种

本文记述毒蛾科两个新种。模式标本保存于中国科学院动物研究所。 小岭毒蛾 Lymantria xiaolingensis新种 雄蛾下唇须白色,第一和第二节外侧黑色;触角干白色,栉齿灰棕色;头部白色,胸部和腹部白色略带棕色;足白色,胫节外侧浅棕色,末端具一黑斑,跗节内侧浅棕色,外侧具二黑斑;前翅白色,各横线退化成黑点状,沿前缘基部有三个黑点,中室基部下面和中室中     

散囊菌属的两个新种

本文报道两个新种,肋状散囊菌(Eurotium costiforme)和少疣散囊菌(E.parviver-ruculosum)。前者的主要特征是子囊孢子的凸面有许多网结的肋状突起;在查氏琼脂上产生大量的闭囊壳,但分生孢子结构极少。后者在查氏琼脂上生长很局限;子囊孢子大,凸面近于平滑或有少量小疣等主要特点。     

TWO NEW SPECIES OF OEDOCLADIUM1

Two new gynandrosporous species of Oedocladium from the United States were isolated into unialgal culture and comparative studies were made. The new taxa described, O. carolinianum sp. nov. and O. cir-ratum sp. nov., are morphologically very similar. Both species have an opercufate oogonium with inferior division, oospore walls with the middle layer ungulate, and hyaline suffultory cells containing a small amount of vacuolated cytoplasm. Conditions for sexuality in culture zuere determined for both species. Zoospores and akinetes serve as means for asexual reproduction.     

TWO NEW SPECIES OF CHLAMYDOMONAS1,2

Two new species of Chlamydomonas, C. surtseyiensis and C. archibaldii, are described as is their sexual reproduction which occurs in clonal culture.

本文描述采自四川省的白粉菌的两个新分类单位。它们是寄生于省沽油科野鸦椿上的新种野鸦钩丝壳(Uncinula euscaphidis Xie sp.nov.)和大风子科山梧桐上的新种山桐子钩丝壳(Uncinula idesiae Xie sp.nov.)。省沽油科和大风子科是钩丝壳属白粉菌寄主科的世界新记录。模式标本存放于南充师范学院生物系植物标本室。

本文叙述了采自四川省的白粉菌科二个新分类单位,它们是寄生在马桑科马桑上的新种马桑球针壳(Phyllactinia coriariae Xie)和马桑棒丝壳(Typhulockaeta corlariae Xie)。马桑科是球针壳属和棒丝壳属寄主科的世界新记录。

中国秽蝇族二新种（双翅目：蝇科）

本文采自云南和广东的秽蝇族二新种,即亚缘秽蝇和褐翅长鬃秽蝇。     

银耳科的两个新种

本文报道了银耳目银耳科的两个新种——版纳拟黑耳(Exidiopsis banlaensis Peng sp.nov.)和勐仑银耳(Tremella menglunensis Peng sp.nov.)。其形态特征,前者与铅灰拟黑耳(Exidiopsis molybdea)接近,后者近似银耳(Tremella fucilormis),但子实体甚小而生于钢色炭团菌的子座和子囊壳上。对这两个新种进行了汉文和拉丁文描述。     

霜霉属二新种

本文报道霜霉属(Peronospora)新种二个:即寄生在石竹科植物异叶假繁缕(Pseudo stellaria heterophylla(Miq.)Pax.)上的假繁缕霜霉(P.pseudostellariae G. Y. Yin et Z.S.Yang)和寄生在荨麻科植物藪苧麻(Boehmeria japonica Miq.)上的苧麻霜霉(P.boehmeriae G.Y.Yin et Z.S.Yang)。文中有拉丁文及中文描述。标本保存于南京农业大学真菌标本室和中国科学院微生物所真菌标本室。
