总结了果实生态学的概念及主要研究内容,对国内外的果实生态学研究领域的进展进行了综述,分析了这些研究尚存在的不足之处,并指出了未来研究的科学问题.迄今为止,果实生态学在果实与种子的关系、果实颜色与环境、果实化学成分与环境、群落果实构成式样的地理分布特征、果实及食果动物的协同进化等方面已经取得了若干进展.果实重量谱等物理性状的空间分异格局及机理、果实化学成分的时空变异格局、果实类型的组成式样及大尺度地理分布格局及其机制的探讨、果实传播与食果动物的协同进化等是未来亟待开展的工作.  相似文献

BA、GA3和IAA对富士苹果果形形成的影响   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
以9年生富士苹果为材料,研究富士苹果形成过程中BA、GA,和IAA对果形、品质、内源激素含量的影响。结果表明:在花期喷GA,对富士苹果的坐果率影响效果最好,分别比清水对照和无处理对照提高49%和79.45%。BA100mg·L^-1GA3300mg·L^-1+IAA20mg·L^-1对降低富士苹果偏斜率效果最好。在花期、花期+幼果期和幼果期分别喷BA和在花期喷GA3可以提高果实中可溶性固形物的含量。花期喷IAA、BA、GA,和BA+GA,+IAA对内源激素IAA和GA3的含量均有促进作用,在整个生长季内不同处理下IAA、GA3含量均高于清水对照且差异明显;花期喷BA、GA3和BA+GA3+IAA对内源激素ZT含量有促进作用,尤其在果实幼果期和膨大期与清水对照相比效果明显;花期喷GA3和BA+GA3+IAA与清水对照相比内源激素ABA含量有明显降低,其中幼果期变化显著。  相似文献

为确定果袋颜色的生态学和生物学效应,以JYK番茄为试材,采用不同颜色果袋进行套袋处理,以不套袋为对照,研究了不同颜色果袋内微环境的变化及其对果实生长发育、产量和品质的影响.结果表明:不同颜色果袋均具有降低光强、提高温度、增加湿度的作用,并均可促进番茄果实膨大,增加单果质量,促进果实提早成熟.其中,以黑色果袋增温促长效果最好,其果实成熟期较对照提早10 d,单果质量增加27.2%;无色、蓝色及红色果袋处理的果实成熟期分别较对照提早8、3和2 d,单果质量分别增加11.8%、6.4%和4.8%.此外,套袋还可促进果实着色,显著提高番茄红素含量,但所有处理的果实硬度及可溶性固形物、可溶性糖、可溶性蛋白含量均低于对照.表明番茄套袋虽增加了产量,但降低了其营养品质.  相似文献

Gynoecium, fruit and seed structure of Paullinieae (Sapindaceae)   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Despite an emphasis on fruit characters in Paullinieae taxonomy, few detailed morphological and anatomical studies of the gynoecia, fruits and seeds exist. The aims of the present study were (1) to provide a detailed documentation of gynoecium, fruit and seed structure and ontogeny in selected Paullinieae taxa; (2) to determine whether the gynoecium, seed and seedling provide additional characters of systematic value within the tribe; and (3) to relate the structural findings to mechanisms of fruit dehiscence and dispersal within these taxa. Newly described characters of systematic value within Paullinieae are shape and surface of the obturator, type of pollen tube transmitting tract, indumentum of the inner and outer surface of the carpels, ovary wall anatomy, aril anatomy, pseudo-hilum form, seedling germination mode and structure of first leaves. The fruits of Paullinia are septifragal, and conspicuous colour contrasts between the pericarp, aril and seed in most species of this genus are suggestive of a bird dispersal syndrome. Interestingly, it appears that relatively minor structural changes are associated with switches to rodent dispersal in Paullinia sphaerocarpa and water dispersal in P. clathrata and P. hystrix. Anemochorous fruits are septifragal ( Cardiospermum and Urvillea ) or schizocarpic ( Houssayanthus , Lophostigma , Serjania ). The susceptibility of olive cultivars to the olive fruit fly, Bactrocera oleae (Rossi) (Diptera: Tephritidae), has seldom been studied. This article examines factors associated with olive fruit fly infestation of 16 commonly planted Sicilian olive cultivars. Total infestation data were simultaneously correlated with categorical and quantitative factors using ordinal logistic regression. When all factors were included in the analysis, year, sampling date, cultivar, and fruit color were highly significant, but the quantitative factors fruit volume, fruit elongation, and fruit hardness were not. When the analysis was repeated excluding cultivar, all quantitative factors were significant, and elongation and volume were highly significant. Spherical, large, and hard fruit seemed to be preferred by B. oleae over fruit that are elongate, small, and soft. Therefore, fruit color, elongation, volume, and hardness provide useful information regarding the susceptibility of cultivars. In both organic and conventional olive cultivation, information about olive cultivar susceptibility to olive fruit fly will help orchard managers to produce quality oil and table olives while reducing treatments for olive fruit fly control.  相似文献

以套白色单层纸袋的着色富士系‘天红2号’和短枝富士后代优系4-1-103,以及不着色姊妹系‘冀苹4号’和‘冀苹5号’4个苹果品种(系)为试验材料,利用质构仪整果穿刺和质地多面分析法(texture profile analysis,TPA)测定果实质地,光学显微镜观察果实显微结构,探讨苹果果实质地及其显微结构与果面裂纹的关系,为抗裂纹品种的选育和潜在裂纹机制提供理论依据。结果表明:(1)盛花后132~185 d,‘天红2号’和‘冀苹4号’裂纹率和裂纹指数始终高于4-1-103和‘冀苹5号’,其裂纹主要部位为果肩部。(2)‘天红2号’和‘冀苹4号’的果肉脆裂性、果肉硬度分别显著小于4-1-103和‘冀苹5号’。(3)‘天红2号’和‘冀苹4号’的表皮细胞密度显著小于4-1-103和‘冀苹5号’,其果肉细胞间隙率显著大于4-1-103和‘冀苹5号’,且其角质膜有“V”型凹陷,并发生龟裂,而4-1-103和‘冀苹5号’角质膜完整均一。(4)主成分和灰色关联度分析表明,果肉硬度、果皮果肉硬度比和果肉细胞间隙率是解释裂纹的主要指标。研究发现,果实角质膜完整均一、果肉硬度大、果肉细胞间隙率小的苹果品种不易发生果面裂纹。  相似文献

The influence of pollen competitive environment on pollen performance (pollen germination, stigmatic penetration, and pollen tube growth rate), the maturation or abortion of initiated fruit, seed size, and seedling vigor was explored by manipulating the size and diversity of stigmatic pollen loads on Mirabilis jalapa. All aspects of pollen performance significantly increased with the number of pollen grains on a stigma or pollen tubes in a style, but was not influenced by the diversity of pollen donors. Plants tended to mature single-ovulate fruits that came from flowers where pollen load size and diversity were greatest and aborted those where these were lowest. No plants from seeds resulting from pollinations with a single pollen grain survived, but other fitness measures were mostly determined by maternal plant. The data suggest that pollen performance is influenced by pollen competitive environment, and both the genetic diversity of the pollen load and number of competing pollen tubes are important determinants of seed/fruit abortion.  相似文献

Volatiles emitted from immature and mature peach and apple fruits were all attractive to mated female oriental fruit moth, Cydia molesta (Busck), in a dual choice arena. Females did not discriminate between odours emitted by these two major host plants. The same natural blends were behaviourally ineffective for virgin females. A major component of apple fruit volatiles, butyl hexanoate, also attracted female C. molesta. Mated females were attracted to two medium dosages, while virgin females responded positively to the lowest of the five dosages tested. The time course of the captures of the moths shows a diurnal activity cycle known from the field. The possible implications of a semiochemical which attracts females are discussed in the context of previous findings that gravid females may immigrate from peaches into apple orchards particularly in the later phase of the season.  相似文献

Cold plasma technology is getting popularity now days owing to its high efficacy in decontamination of microbes in fruit and fruit-based products. As a on-thermal approach, plasma processing maintains the quality of fruits and minimizes the thermal effects on nutritional properties. Cold plasma is also exploited for inactivating enzymes and degrading pesticides as both are directly related with quality loss and presently are most important concerns in fresh produce industry. Caldesia, a genus of aquatic monocotyledons, is represented by four living species, which are widely distributed in the temperate and tropical Old World. The genus has an extensive Oligocene through Pleistocene fossil record in Eurasia. We survey the morphology of the extant and fossil fruits of the Alismataceae, and provide a detailed review of the morphology and anatomy of living and fossil Caldesia fruits. The latter exhibit substantial similarity, making the recognition of separate species on the basis of fruit morphology difficult. We erect the new species Caldesia brandoniana from the Early Miocene Brandon Lignite of Vermont primarily on the basis of its geographic isolation; careful revision of all fossil fruiting material of Caldesia might require placement of the Brandon specimens in a more inclusive form species. Together with leaves of Caldesia from the Miocene Clarkia flora of Idaho, this occurrence indicates that Caldesia was in the New World as recently as the Early Miocene.  相似文献

The influence of different irradiance conditions was evaluated under natural solar radiation by comparing well-exposed (in) and shaded fruit (out) in canopies of olive trees (Olea europaea L). Over a 2-year period, from 50 days after full bloom up to harvest time, “in” and “out” olive samples of two genotypes (“Frantoio Millennio” and “Coratina 5/19”) were periodically collected. Morphological, histochemical, and biochemical analysis were performed to study the changes on fruit morphometric traits, oil body accumulation, and β-glucosidase enzyme activity. Some parameters were modified by shading inside the canopy in which the proportion of incident photosynthetically active radiation intercepted by the crop was 47%. Shaded fruits developed at slow rate and were characterized by late darkgoing time, reduced size, with a tendency toward oblong shape. The rapid histochemical procedure proposed to estimate the oil body accumulation during fruit ripening showed that a reduced irradiance caused a decrease in oil body density. The canopy position influenced, in a different way, the β-glucosidase activity in relation to the fruit-ripening stage in both genotypes. These findings indicate that providing an adequate and uniform lighting of the olive canopy by careful choices of orchard management practices can be a key factor for several yield components.  相似文献

Avocado shows protogynous dichogamy with two complementary cultivar types (A and B) that differ in their floral behaviour. Because of this peculiar flowering system, mixed plantings of cultivars of complementary flower type have been traditionally recommended to increase yield. However, the effect of planting complementary avocado cultivars on outcrossing rate and yield is a subject of controversy. In this work, we have studied the outcrossing rate with microsatellite markers under the growing conditions of Southern Spain. Outcrossing rate was determined at harvest on several ‘Hass’ trees situated in rows at different distances from a ‘Fuerte’ orchard for two consecutive years (2005 and 2006). Outcrossing rate ranged from 0.31 to 0.74 with an average of 0.47 showing a significant decrease from the first row (in proximity to the pollen source) to the rest of the rows. However, using data of 13 years no significant differences in yield have been recorded with increasing distance to the pollen donor trees. The paternity of abscised fruits was recorded weekly from June to the period of commercial harvest in March the following year. The results obtained indicate that the fruits that dropped during June were mostly derived from self‐fertilisation. However, a high proportion of those fruits were derived from flowers fertilised during the last weeks of the ‘Hass’ blooming season when the cultivar Fuerte presents either few or no flowers. Consequently, most of the late fertilised ‘Hass’ fruits were derived from self‐pollination and those small fruits compete for limited maternal resources with the earlier fertilised fruits derived from cross‐pollination. These results suggest that, under our growing conditions, fruit drop in avocado is rather determined by the fertilisation date and not by the embryo genetic composition.  相似文献

The photosynthetic contribution of a fruit to its carbon requirement throughout ontogeny and under different growing conditions was quantified in cucumber ( Cucumis sativus L. cv. Corona). In addition, the effects of shading on fruit dry matter accumulation and the diurnal course of the elongation rate were studied. Fruit darkening had no photomorphogenic effect on fruit growth, while the cumulative photosynthetic contribution of a fruit to its own carbon requirement ranged from 1 to 5%. During the day there was always a net CO2 efflux. The photosynthetic rate per fruit, calculated as the difference between rates of CO2 exchange in light and dark, increased during fruit ontogeny, while the photosynthetic rate per unit fruit surface area declined. The latter was not dependent on fruit size. The photosynthetic activity per unit surface area of fruits was estimated to be about 20–30% as efficient as that of leaves. The rate of calculated photosynthesis was reduced by 60–65% when the photosynthetically active radiation incident on the fruit decreased from 200 to 50 μmol m−2 s−1. Temperature (20–30°C) had no pronounced effect on the rate of calculated fruit photosynthesis when fruits of the same developmental stage (temperature sum) were compared. However, the relative photosynthetic contribution of a fruit to its carbon requirement increased when temperature decreased. Moreover, this contribution increased when irradiance increased or fruit growth was reduced by competing fruits. During fruit ontogeny the daily photosynthetic contribution was highest (up to 15%) in young and old fruits, with a small growth rate.  相似文献

Commercial traps and lures have recently become available for monitoring male and female Mediterranean fruit fly, Ceratitis capitata (Wiedemann) (Diptera: Tephritidae) in Australia, with possible applications in monitoring and mass trapping. This study investigated the attractiveness of commercially available male [Capilure® (CPL), Trimedlure (TML) cone, plugs, and wafers] and female‐targeted synthetic lures (three‐component BioLure®, BioLure® Unipak, Ceratitis® Unipak, TMA Plus® Unipak and Biotrap® gel), and five female‐targeted traps [Maxi® trap, Sorygar Tephri‐trap, Probodelt® cone trap, and BioTrap Globe® traps (two versions)]. Results showed that TML and CPL lures were equivalent up to 8 weeks, but TML‐baited traps captured 1.2–4.6 times more male medflies than CPL‐baited traps with lures aged 9–16 weeks. For female‐targeted trapping, all tested lures were female selective. Ceratitis® Unipak was equivalent to three‐component (3‐C) BioLure®, whilst BioLure® Unipak captured 1.1–1.5 times more medflies than 3‐C BioLure®. The least efficient lures were TMA Plus® Unipak and Biotrap Fruit Fly Attractant Gel. Tephri‐traps were the least efficient trap, with Maxi traps catching 1.9–6.7 times more medflies than the Tephri‐trap. The appropriate selection of lures and traps for applications in monitoring and mass trapping are discussed.  相似文献
