The present study evaluated gene by development interaction in cigarettes smoked per day (CPD) in a longitudinal community-representative sample (N?=?3,231) of Caucasian twins measured at ages 14, 17, 20, and 24. Biometric heritability analyses show strong heritabilities and shared environmental influences, as well as cross-age genetic and shared environmental correlations. Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) previously associated with CPD according to meta-analysis were summed to create a SNP score. At best, the SNP score accounted for 1?% of the variance in CPD. The results suggest developmental moderation with a larger significant SNP score effect on CPD at ages 20 and 24, and smaller non-significant effect at ages 14 and 17. These results are consistent with the notion that nicotine-specific genetic substance use risk is less important at younger ages, and becomes more important as individuals age into adulthood. In a complementary analysis, the same nicotine-relevant SNP score was unrelated to the frequency of alcohol use at ages 14, 17, 20, or 24. These results indicate that the SNP score is specific to nicotine in this small sample and that increased exposure to nicotine at ages 20 and 24 does not influence the extent of concurrent or later alcohol use. Increased sample sizes and replication or meta-analysis are necessary to confirm these results. The methods and results illustrate the importance and difficulty of considering developmental processes in understanding the interplay of genes and environment.  相似文献

Abstract

Identical twins are used to show the long‐term effects of birth weight when genetic and many environmental factors are controlled. Female twins between the ages of 6 and 10 are evaluated for performance IQ and other measures of activity. No relationship was found between any of these measures and birth weight except for IQ. The heavier cotwin had the higher IQ score even when the birth weight of each twin was above 2,500 grams. Birth order was not associated with intelligence within the twin pairs.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to conduct a survey assessing (a) the ochratoxin A (OTA) content in different samples of Astragalus propinquus root (AR), one of the fundamental herbs in traditional Chinese medicine, and (b) the rate of OTA transfer to AR decoctions that are traditionally used to reduce general weakness and increase overall vitality. A validated method of high-performance liquid chromatography with fluorescence detection (HPLC-FLD) was used to determine OTA concentrations in AR samples and AR decoctions. The limit of quantification was 0.35 ng/g; the recovery of the HPLC method for AR samples was 82%; and the relative standard deviation (SD) of repeatability was 2.6%. All 40 tested AR samples were positive, with a mean value of 451.0 ng/g (range, 28.8–1700.0 ng/g). The transfer rate of OTA to decoctions, from a naturally contaminated and homogenized AR sample (internal reference material) with a concentration of OTA of 288.9 ng/g?±?12.3 (SD), was 83.4%?±?8.5 (SD). We believe it is necessary to continue OTA monitoring in AR and other herbal products, estimate the actual human usual intake, and perform health risk assessment.  相似文献

Background

While it is suggested that the prevalence of asthma in developed countries may have stabilized, this is not clear in currently developing countries. Current available information for both adults and children simultaneously on the burden and impact of allergic conditions in Colombia and in many Latin American countries is limited. The objectives of this study were to estimate the prevalence for asthma, allergic rhinitis (AR), atopic eczema (AE), and atopy in six colombian cities; to quantify costs to the patient and her/his family; and to determine levels of Immunoglobulin E (IgE) in asthmatic and healthy subjects.

Methods

We conducted a cross-sectional, population-based study in six cities during the academic year 2009?C2010. We used a school-based design for subjects between 5?C17?years old. We carried out a community-based strategy for subjects between 1?C4?years old and adults between 18?C59?years old. Serum samples for total and antigen-specific (IgE) levels were collected using a population-based, nested, case?Ccontrol design.

Results

We obtained information on 5978 subjects. The largest sample of subjects was collected in Bogotá (2392). The current prevalence of asthma symptoms was 12% (95% CI, 10.5-13.7), with 43% (95% CI, 36.3-49.2) reporting having required an emergency department visit or hospitalization in the past 12?months. Physician diagnosed asthma was 7% (95% CI, 6.1-8.0). The current prevalence of AR symptoms was 32% (95% CI, 29.5-33.9), and of AE symptoms was 14% (95% CI, 12.5-15.3). We collected blood samples from 855 subjects; 60.2% of asthmatics and 40.6% of controls could be classified as atopic.

Conclusions

In Colombia, symptom prevalence for asthma, AR and AE, as well as levels of atopy, are substantial. Specifically for asthma, symptom severity and absence from work or study due to symptoms are important. These primary care sensitive conditions remain an unmet public health burden in developing countries such as Colombia.  相似文献

This is a follow up study of twins within the Stockholm area, including 32 families and their twins attending grade nine. The twins have been followed from birth to 16 years of age. The main purpose of this study from its inception was to assess mental and cognitive development at different ages. Another aim was to see how the twins who were born prematurely are developing during the school ages. A third aim has been to gain a deeper insight into the relationship between co-twins and the development of their identities, which is the focus of this paper. Several ability tests have been used, as well as questionnaires about interests, attitudes toward school, and leisure activities. At the 16-year follow-up, a psychological method, the Wartegg drawing test, designed to examine identity, ego strength, dependency, ambition, anxiety, willpower, creativity, empathy and coping strategies has been used. The results indicate that it is difficult for twins to develop independence and a positive identity, as they have to emancipate themselves both from their parents and from their co-twins. Some differences in identity, anxiety and ambition were observed between female and male twins, MZ and DZ twins, preterm and fullterm twins. Prematurity, sex and zygosity no longer had any relation to cognitive development at 16 years of age.  相似文献

Apoptosis, or programmed cell death, plays an important role in many physiological and diseased conditions. Induction of apoptosis in cancer cells has been monitored during the cells' progression to apoptosis by anti-cancer drugs and inhibitors of the cell surface glycolipids, gangliosides and SA-Le(x) biosyntheses [Basu, S (1991) Glycobiology, 1, 469-475; and ibid, 427-435] in animal tissues and human carcinoma cells, respectively. Induction of apoptosis in cancer cells by cell surface glycolipids in the human breast cancer (SKBR3) cells is the aim in this study. We have employed the disialosyl gangliosides (GD3 and GD1b) to initiate apoptosis in SKBR3 cells grown in culture in the presence of (14)C-L-Serine. At lower concentrations (0-20 microM) of exogenously added non-radioactive GD3, GD1b, or bovine ganglioside mixture (GM1:GD1a:GD1b:GT1a 2:4:4:2), the incorporation of radioactivity in both (14)C-sphingolipid and (14)C-ceramide was higher. However, at higher concentrations (20-100 microM), wherein apoptosis occurred in high frequency, the (14)C-incorporation decreased in both GSLs and ceramide. Apoptosis induction was monitored by the concomitant appearance of caspase-3 activation and the binding of a fluorescent dye PSS-380 to the outer leaflet of phosphatidyl-serine. These results indicated that, in addition to many unknown cell surface glycoconjugates GD3 or GD1b (disialosyl ganglioside) could play an important role in the regulation of breast carcinoma cell death.  相似文献

Monozygotic (MZ) twins, considered to be genetically identical, cannot be distinguished from one another by standard forensic DNA testing. A recent study employed whole genome sequencing to identify extremely rare mutations and reported that mutation analysis could be used to differentiate between MZ twins. Compared with nuclear DNA, mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) has higher mutation rates; therefore, minor differences theoretically exist in MZ twins' mitochondrial genome (mtGenome). However, conventional Sanger-type sequencing (STS) is neither amenable to, nor feasible for, the detection of low-level sequence variants. The recent introduction of massively parallel sequencing (MPS) has the capability to sequence many targeted regions of multiple samples simultaneously with desirable depth of coverage. Thus, the aim of this study was to assess whether full mtGenome sequencing analysis can be used to differentiate between MZ twins. Ten sets of MZ twins provided blood samples that underwent extraction, quantification, mtDNA enrichment, library preparation, and ultra-deep sequencing. Point heteroplasmies were observed in eight sets of MZ twins, and a single nucleotide variant (nt15301) was detected in five sets of MZ twins. Thus, this study demonstrates that ultra-deep mtGenome sequencing could be used to differentiate between MZ twins.  相似文献

Glutathione and cysteine are major antioxidants in blood that are associated with health and longevity. To ensure their measurement, careful attention to avoid auto-oxidation is necessary to stabilize the samples. Since no report of these compounds has been reported in children, our goal was to determine their levels of reduced and oxidized glutathione (GSH and GSSG) and cysteine (Cys and CSSC), To this end, 140 healthy children, ages 2 to 9 years from the Louisville Twin Study were studied. Blood samples were collected and analyzed for GSH, GSSG, Cys, and CSSC by our HPLC dual electrochemical method. The results showed that GSH and total GSH (GSH + GSSG) levels for monozygotic (MZ) twins were significantly higher (P < 0.001) than levels for dizygotic (DZ) twins. However, the opposite occurred for Cys and total Cys (Cys + CSSC) in that the levels were significantly higher for DZ twins than for MZ twins. (P < 0.005-0.013). In spite of this marked difference in zygosity, the within-pair correlations for twin pairs used for estimating heritability suggested that there was a major environmental influence for total GSH and total Cys. Finally. GSH levels were significantly lower for young (2-9 years) children than adults (P < 0.001).  相似文献

Copper and calcium are essential for human growth and development. The present study was conducted to evaluate the relationship between calcium and copper levels, as well as their relationship to age and anthropometry in 180 preschool children ages 2-5?years old. Serum copper levels were inversely correlated with age (r?=?-0.184, P?=?0.032) and height (r?=?-0.175, P?=?0.043) in the whole group and with height for age Z score only in male children (r?=?-0.291, P?=?0.016). The correlation with age is not maintained when it is analyzed for gender. Serum calcium values in the total group were inversely correlated with weight (r?=?-0.153, P?=?0.044) and weight for height Z score (r?=?-0.246, P?=?0.001). No differences were found for gender in the levels of both metals. A negative relationship between serum calcium and copper was found only in male children (r?=?-0.339, P?=?0.005). Studies are required in other populations and experimental designs that can explain an inverse relationship between serum calcium and copper levels.  相似文献

The relationship among lactosylceramide-(LacCer), GD3- and GM2-synthases and between the two last transferases and their common GM3 acceptor was investigated in intact Golgi membrane from chick embryo neural retina cells at early (8-days) and late (14 days) stages of the embryonic development. [3H]Gal was incorporated into endogenous glucosylceramide by incubation of Golgi membranes with UDP-[3H]Gal. Conversion of the synthesized [3H]Gal-LacCer into GM3, and of the latter into GD3, GM2 and GD2 was examined after a second incubation step with unlabeled CMP-NeuAc and/or UDP-GalNAc. With CMP-NeuAc, most [3H]Gal-LacCer was converted into GM3 in either 8- or 14- day membranes. However, while about 90% of GM3 was converted into GD3 in 8-day membranes, only about 25% followed this route in 14-day membranes. With CMP-NeuAc and UDP-GalNAc, about 90% of GM3 was used for synthesis of GM2 in 14-day membranes, while in 8-day membranes about 80% followed the route to GD3, and a part to GD2. Performing the second incubation step in the presence of increasing detergent concentrations showed that conversion of GM3 to GM2 was inhibited at concentrations lower than those required for inhibition of LacCer to GM3 conversion. Taken together, results indicate that transfer steps leading to synthesis of GM3, GD3, GM2 and GD2 from LacCer are functionally coupled in the Golgi membranes, and that GD3- and GM2-synthases compete in a common compartment for using a fraction of GM3 as substrate. In this competition, the relative activities of the transferases and their relative saturation with the respective donor sugar nucleotides, are important factors influencing conversion of GM3 toward either GD3 or GM2.  相似文献

Synaptic plasma membranes were prepared from cortices of rats varying in post-natal age between 4 and 30 days. Sialic acid associated with synaptic plasma membrane glycoproteins and gangliosides increased 75% and 50%, respectively, between 4 and 30 days. The amount of sialic acid released from these membrane constituents by intrinsic synaptic sialidase increased 2-4-fold over the same period. Incubation of synaptic plasma membranes with exogenous gangliosides or glycopeptides demonstrated a 2-3-fold increase in sialidase activity during development. The major gangliosides present in synaptic plasma membranes at all ages were GT1, GD1a, GD1b and GM1. Intrinsic sialidase hydrolyzed 50-70% of endogenous GT1 and GD1a gangliosides at all ages. Endogenous GD1b ganglioside was poorly hydrolyzed in young rats and its susceptibility to enzymic hydrolysis increased during development. When exogenous GD1a and GD1b were used as substrates a preferential increase in activity against GD1b occurred during development, the ratio of activity (GD1a/GD1b) decreasing from 3.6 to 1.6 between 7 and 30 days. 10- and 30-day-old synaptic plasma membranes contained complex mixtures of sialoglycoproteins, an increase in the relative concentrations of lower molecular weight sialoglycoproteins occurring during development. Intrinsic sialidase present in 10- and 30-day-old synaptic plasma membranes acted upon all molecular weight classes of sialoglycoproteins.  相似文献

选用全国人口普查时登报的 1 989年 1月 1日至 1 2月 31日期间中国育龄妇女 ( 1 5— 49岁 )的生产记录 ,用 Weinberg差别法进行双生子卵性分类 ,分析了中国总体、DZ和 MZ双生子出生率与母亲年龄之间的关系以及双生子的出生性别比。结果表明 ,中国总体、 DZ和 MZ双生子的出生率分别为 0 .787± 0 .0 0 2 % ,0 .573± 0 .0 0 2 %和 0 .2 1 4± 0 .0 0 1 % ,DZ双生子出生率在 33岁前随母亲年龄增高单调上升 ,随后下降 ,但在 46岁后又随龄上升 ,MZ双生子出生率在 34岁前相对恒定 ,随后随龄上升。中国双生子出生性别比显著性低于同期群体出生性别比 ,1 5— 1 9岁和 45— 49岁年龄组出生的双生子性别比低于其它年龄组出生的双生子性别比 ,1 5— 1 9岁和 45— 49岁年龄组出生的双生子性别比较低可能是较低的 MZ双生子出生性别比造成的。  相似文献

Familiarization with individuals resulting from direct exposure is the primary mechanism mediating social recognition in many vertebrates. However, discernible phenotypic similarity among close kin may provide an additional basis for recognizing previously unencountered individuals. We investigated the existence of such a mechanism of indirect familiarity among artificially reared twin lambs, Ovis aries, that were separated shortly after birth. When they were 2-3 weeks old, we tested their recognition of familiar penmates, their unfamiliar twin and twins of familiar penmates in two-choice and paired tests. Lambs responded discriminatively to familiar penmates. When allowed to choose between their twins or twins of penmates versus an unfamiliar unrelated individual, lambs did not show any preference. Nevertheless, when paired with a twin or penmate’s twin, lambs bleated less than did those paired with an unfamiliar unrelated partner, which suggests that twins and twins of penmates were recognized. Discrimination between twin and unrelated individuals could be based either on early learning of the twin's phenotypic traits (template) before separation or on a process of indirect familiarization (comparison with familiar self cues). However, indirect familiarization was clearly implicated in the discrimination of twins of penmates; that is, lambs learned the characteristic phenotypic traits of (unrelated) penmates and detected a resemblance between those familiar individuals and their twins. Overall, the two-choice and paired tests were differentially effective procedures depending on the research question being addressed, that is, relatively simple or subtle social discrimination. The recent emergence of a herpes-like virus in both farmed and wild populations of abalone in Victoria, Australia, has been associated with high mortality rates in animals of all ages. Based on viral genome sequence information, a virus-specific real-time TaqMan assay was developed for detection and identification of the abalone herpes-like virus (AbHV). The assay was shown to be specific as it did not detect other viruses from either the Herpesvirales or the Iridovirales orders which have genome sequence similarities. However, the TaqMan assay was able to detect DNA from the Taiwanese abalone herpes-like virus, suggesting a relationship between the Taiwanese and Australian viruses. In addition, the assay detected < 300 copies of recombinant plasmid DNA per reaction. Performance characteristics for the AbHV TaqMan assay were established using 1673 samples from different abalone populations in Victoria and Tasmania. The highest diagnostic sensitivity and specificity were 96.7 (95% CI: 82.7 to 99.4) and 99.7 (95% CI: 99.3 to 99.9), respectively, at a threshold cycle (C(T)) value of 35.8. The results from 2 separate laboratories indicated good repeatability and reproducibility. This molecular assay has already proven useful in confirming presumptive diagnosis (based on the presence of ganglioneuritis) of diseased abalone in Victorian waters as well as being a tool for surveillance of wild abalone stocks in other parts of Australia.  相似文献

Bacterial vaginosis (BV) is the most common female reproductive tract infection and is associated with an increased risk of acquiring and transmitting HIV by a mechanism that is not well understood. Gamma delta (GD) T cells are essential components of the adaptive and innate immune system, are present in the female reproductive tract, and play an important role in epithelial barrier protection. GD1 cells predominate in the mucosal tissue and are important in maintaining mucosal integrity. GD2 cells predominate in peripheral blood and play a role in humoral immunity and in the immune response to pathogens. HIV infection is associated with changes in GD T cells frequencies in the periphery and in the female reproductive tract. The objective of this study is to evaluate if changes in vaginal flora occurring with BV are associated with changes in endocervical GD T cell responses, which could account for increased susceptibility to HIV. Seventeen HIV-infected (HIV+) and 17 HIV-uninfected (HIV-) pre-menopausal women underwent collection of vaginal swabs and endocervical cytobrushes. Vaginal flora was assessed using the Nugent score. GD T cells were assessed in cytobrush samples by flow cytometry. Median Nugent score was 5.0 and 41% of women had abnormal vaginal flora. In HIV uninfected women there was a negative correlation between Nugent score and cervical GD1 T cells (b for interaction = - 0.176, p<0.01); cervical GD1 T cells were higher in women with normal vaginal flora than in those with abnormal flora (45.00% vs 9.95%, p = 0.005); and cervical GD2 T cells were higher in women with abnormal flora than in those with normal flora (1.70% vs 0.35%, p = 0.023). GD T cells in the genital tract are protective (GD1) and are targets for HIV entry (GD2). The decrease in cervical GD1 and increase in GD2 T cells among women with abnormal vaginal flora predisposes women with BV to HIV acquisition. We propose to use GD T cell as markers of female genital tract vulnerability to HIV.  相似文献

Uterine leiomyosarcoma comprises <1 % of uterine malignancies and is known for its clinically aggressive course. Extrapelvic recurrences are common and often lethal. No adjuvant therapies have been shown to significantly improve overall survival, highlighting the need for new and novel therapies. Our objective was to determine whether GD2-specific immunocytokine therapy may be explored for the treatment for uterine leiomyosarcoma. To do so, frozen tissue sections were obtained from the Gynecologic Oncology Group tumor bank and evaluated by immunohistochemistry (IHC) for GD2 expression using both the parent mouse monoclonal antibody 14G2A and immunocytokine 14.18-IL2 generated from the 14G2A sequence. Immunoreactivity was detected by avidin-biotin complex with DAB substrate. Specimens were reviewed by a pathologist with light microscopy and classified as negative, 1+, 2+ or 3+, compared to human melanoma cells as positive control and tissue incubated in the absence of primary antibody as negative control. GD2 was diffusely present in all evaluable samples. 10 tumors (67 %) demonstrated 3+ IHC intensity for GD2, two tumors (13 %) demonstrated 2+ intensity, and 3 (20 %) tumors demonstrated 1+ intensity. Eleven cases had sufficient tissue to assess 14.18-IL2 binding. All 11 cases bound 14.18-IL2 in a pattern identical to the parent antibody. Uterine leiomyosarcoma diffusely express GD2 and bind the therapeutic immunocytokine 14.18-IL2. This warrants further exploration to determine whether immunocytokine therapy may have a clinical role in the management of these aggressive tumors.  相似文献

BACKGROUND: As a class effect, potent I(Kr)-blockers have been shown to induce stage-specific external malformations. The aim of this study was to investigate whether I(Kr)-blockers also induce stage-specific visceral and skeletal defects and to further elucidate a proposed arrhythmia-hypoxia hypothesis. METHODS: Single oral doses of the selective I(Kr)-blocker almokalant (ALM) 25-150 micromol/kg, 7-14 dams/group, were given to Sprague-Dawley rats on gestation days (GD) 10-14, and the fetuses were examined for malformations on GD 21. One group was pretreated with the spin-trapping agent, alpha-phenyl-N-t-butylnitrone (PBN), given intraperitoneally 1 hr before ALM on GD 11. RESULTS: Cardiac ventricular septum defects and vascular malformations were observed after dosing on GD 10-11 and, to a lesser degree, on GD 12-13. Urogenital defects, absence/malposition of the postcaval lung lobe, and attenuated diaphragm were observed mainly on GD 10-11. Skeletal examination showed a high incidence of vertebral abnormalities on thoracic level on GD 10, on lower thoracic to caudal level on GD 11, and sternebral defects were observed all days. On GD 13 brachy-, oligo-, and syndactyly of the forepaw were induced, and of the hindpaw on GD 14. PBN reduced the incidence of both visceral and skeletal defects. CONCLUSIONS: The stage specificity of observed visceral and skeletal defects correlates well with what has been reported in the literature after temporary interruption of oxygen supply during the same stages of development. The protective effect by PBN present further evidence that the teratogenicity of potent I(Kr)-blockers is related to induction of hypoxia- reoxygenation injury due to embryonic cardiac arrhythmia.  相似文献

We identify a new mechanism for the beta(1)-adrenergic receptor (beta(1)AR)-mediated regulation of human ether-a-go-go-related gene (HERG) potassium channel (Kv11.1). We find that the previously reported modulatory interaction between Kv11.1 channels and 14-3-3epsilon proteins is competed by wild type beta(1)AR by means of a novel interaction between this receptor and 14-3-3epsilon. The association between beta(1)AR and 14-3-3epsilon is increased by agonist stimulation in both transfected cells and heart tissue and requires cAMP-dependent protein kinase (PKA) activity. The beta(1)AR/14-3-3epsilon association is direct, since it can be recapitulated using purified 14-3-3epsilon and beta(1)AR fusion proteins and is abolished in cells expressing beta(1)AR phosphorylation-deficient mutants. Biochemical and electrophysiological studies of the effects of isoproterenol on Kv11.1 currents recorded using the whole-cell patch clamp demonstrated that beta(1)AR phosphorylation-deficient mutants do not recruit 14-3-3epsilon away from Kv11.1 and display a markedly altered agonist-mediated modulation of Kv11.1 currents compared with wild-type beta(1)AR, increasing instead of inhibiting current amplitudes. Interestingly, such differential modulation is not observed in the presence of 14-3-3 inhibitors. Our results suggest that the dynamic association of 14-3-3 proteins to both beta(1)AR and Kv11.1 channels is involved in the adrenergic modulation of this critical regulator of cardiac repolarization and refractoriness.  相似文献

Prior development of a unique androgen-receptor (AR)-negative cell line (HH870) from organ-confined (T2b) human prostate cancer (CaP) enabled comparison of the gangliosides associated with normal and neoplastic prostate epithelial cells, organ-confined versus metastatic (DU 145, PC-3), and AR-negative versus AR-positive CaP cell lines. Resorcinol-HCl and specific monoclonal antibodies were used to characterize gangliosides on 2D-chromatograms, and to visualize them on the cell surface with confocal-fluorescence microscopy. AR-negative cells expressed GM1b, GM2, GD2, GD1a, and GM3. GM1a, GD1b, and GT1b were undetectable. GM1b and GD1a were more prominent in AR-negative than in AR-positive cells. PC-3 and HH870 cells were unique in the expression of O-acetylGD2 (O-AcGD2) and two alpha2,3-sialidase-resistant, alkali-susceptible GMR17-reactive gangliosides. Expression of GD1a, GM1b, doublets of GD3, GD2, and O-AcGD2, and the presence of an additional alkali-labile-14.G2a-reactive ganglioside, two alkali-susceptible, and three alkali-resistant GMR17-reactive gangliosides makes HH870 a potential component of a polyvalent-vaccine for active-specific immunotherapy of CaP.  相似文献

Prostaglandin E(2) (PGE(2)) exerts diverse biological effects through four G-protein-coupled cell surface receptor subtypes, EP1-4. This study's objective was to characterize EP1-4 receptor mRNA expression within pregnant guinea pig myometrium during early implantation stage (gestation day [GD] 6) and late stage gestation (GD 50) and evaluate in vitro contractile activity of receptor subtype selective agonists. Using RT-PCR, qualitative gene expression patterns of EP2, EP3, and EP4 mRNA were detected in the myometrium and remained unchanged between the gestational ages. EP1 mRNA remained undetected in pregnant tissue. In vitro contractile activity was evaluated in GD 6 and GD 50 myometrium using vehicle and EP agonists PGE(2), 17-phenyl trinor PGE(2), sulprostone, misoprostol, and CP-533,536. All spasmogens in pregnant myometrium were EP1/EP3 selective agonists, though likely acting via EP3 receptors in this test model. CP-533,536--a highly selective EP2 receptor agonist--and the vehicle failed to induce myometrial contraction at both gestational ages.  相似文献
