A new bitter phenyl propanoid glycoside, campneoside I, was isolated, together with acteoside and campneoside II, from the leaves of Campsis chinensis. The stereostructure of campneoside I was established as R,S-β-methoxy-β-(3′,4′-dihydroxyphenyl)-ethyl-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl(1 → 3) β-D-(4-O-caffeoyl)-glucopyranoside on the basis of the spectroscopic studies and chemical evidence.  相似文献

Cell suspension cultures of Syringa vulgaris accumulate up to 16% of their dry wt as a mixture of hydroxyphenylethanol glycosides. The main component is the caffeoyl ester, verbascoside (acteoside). Tyrosine and tyramine are efficient biosynthetic precursors of the 4-hydroxy- and 3,4-dihydroxyphenylethanol moieties of these glycosides.  相似文献

Three new bitter iridoid glycosides having an 8,10,11-oxygen substituted iridoid skeleton with an isovaleryl moiety at C-1, have been isolated from the ether and ethyl acetate soluble fractions of the leaves of Viburnum furcatum. Two of them had a glucose moiety at C-11 of the iridoid skeleton and a p-coumaroyl group linked to C-6 of the sugar, and they were found to be geometrical isomers about the double bond of the p-coumaroyl2 moiety. Cestric acid, a new phenolic ester was isolated from leaves of Cestrum euanthes. By means of GC, HPLC, mass spectroscopy, GC/MS, and 13C NMR, it was shown to be an ester of caffeic acid with glucaric acid. The ester occurs as an equilibrium mixture of four isomers.  相似文献

From peeled fruits of Musa paradisiaca (banana, vegetable variety), two new acyl steryl glycosides, sitoindoside-III and sitoindoside-IV, and two new steryl glycosides, sitosterol gentiobioside and sitosterol myo-inosityl-β-D-glucoside, have been isolated by gradient solvent extraction and extensive chromatography (CC, prep. TLC, GC and HPLC). The compounds have been characterized by comprehensive spectroscopic analyses (IR, 1H NMR, GC, mass spectra, [α]D) and crucial chemical transformation. Additionally, seasonal variations of the total sterols, free sterols, steryl esters, steryl glycosides and acyl steryl glycosides in the active samples of banana have been analysed. The results provide a basis for the observed fluctuations in the anti-ulcerogenic activity of the extracts, in different seasons, and the importance of appropriate formulation of the pure principles to optimize the activity.  相似文献

The complete structural elucidation of the two caffeic acid sugar esters verbascoside and orobanchoside, has been realized by 1H and 13C NMR studies. It has been demonstrated that verbascoside is β-(3′,4′-dihydroxyphenyl)ethyl-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl(1→3)-β-D-(4-O-caffeoyl)-glucopyranoside, and orobanchoside is β-hydroxy-β-(3′,4′-dihydroxyphenyl)-ethyl-O-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl(1→2)-β-D-(4-O-caffeoyl)-glucopyranoside.  相似文献

Phytochemical investigations on the n-BuOH-soluble fraction of the whole plant of Buddleja davidii led to the isolation of the phenylpropanoid glycosides 1-10. Their structures were determined by 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopic techniques. All the compounds showed potent antioxidative activity in three different tests, with IC50 values in the range 4.15-9.47 μM in the hydroxyl radical (˙OH) inhibitory activity test, 40.32-81.15 μM in the total ROS (reactive oxygen species) inhibitory activity test, and 2.26-7.79 μM in the peroxynitrite (ONOO?) scavenging activity test. Calceolarioside A (1) displayed the strongest scavenging potential with IC50 values of (4.15?±?0.07, 40.32?± 0.09, 2.26?±?0.03μM) for ˙OH, total ROS and scavenging of ONOO?, respectively.  相似文献

Two new furostanol glycosides trigofoenosides A and D have been isolated from the Trigonella foenum-graecum seeds as their methyl ethers, A-1 and D-1. Twelve flavonol glycosides have been isolated from the leaves of Securidaca diversifolia. The separation of ten quercetin 3-glycosides and two kaempferol 3-glycosides was achieved by droplet counter-current chromatography (DCCC), preparative reversed-phase chromatography and gel chromatography. The structures were established on the basis of partial and total acid hydrolysis and spectral data (UV, 13C NMR, FAB, MS, D/CI MS). The four apiosides: quercetin 3-(2″-β-D-apiofuranosyl-β-D-glucopyranoside), 3-(2″-β-D-apiofuranosyl-β-D-galactoside), 3-(2″-β-D-apiofuranosyl-α-L-arabinopyranoside) and 3-(2″-β-D-apiofuranosyl-β-D-xylopyranoside) are new natural products. The structure of kaempferol 3-(2″-β-D-apiofuranosyl-β-D-glucopyranoside), previously isolated from Cicer arietinum, is confirmed.  相似文献

The synthesis of oleanolic acid 3β-d-glucuronoside from oleanolic acid and UDPGlcA has been demonstrated in cell-free preparations from C. officinalis seedlings. Moreover, the formation of more complex glycosides by successive additions of galactose and glucose to oleanolic acid glucuronoside was observed when cell-free preparations were incubated with UDPGal or UDPGlc. The consecutive steps of oleanolic acid glycosylation are localized in three different cellular compartments. The biosynthesis of the 3-glucuronoside takes place in the microsomes, the elongation of the sugar chain at C-3 of the aglycone proceeds in heavy membrane structures which are probably fragments of the Golgi complex while a cytosol enzyme(s) is involved in glucosylation of the C-17 carboxyl group of oleanolic acid.  相似文献

Twenty-five flavonoid glycosides were detected in Tribulus pentandrus and T. terrestris. The glycosides belong to the common flavonols, kaempferol, quercetin and isorhamnetin, with the 3-gentiobiosides as the major glycosides. Traces of a flavone (tricin) glycoside was also present in T. pentandrus. The separation of Tribulaceae as a distinct family from Zygophyllaceae is discussed.  相似文献

Two new glucosides and two known ester glucosides have been isolated from Geum japonicum. The two new glucosides were isolated by formation of their acetates and were identified as glucosides of 2-isopropyl-5-methylhydroquinone by chemical and spectral studies. The two known ester glucosides were identified as niga-ichigoside F1 and suavissimoside F1 by direct comparison with authentic samples. 2α,19α-Dihydroxyursolic acid and the known glycoside, gein, were also isolated from the same plant, in addition to a mixture of 2α-hydroxyursolic acid and 2α-hydroxyoleanolic acid.  相似文献

From the ethanolic extract of Smilax bracteata, six phenylpropanoid glycosides, smilasides G-L (1-6), along with four known phenylpropanoid compounds, helonioside A, helonioside B, smilaside E, and (1-p-O-coumaroyl-6-O-feruroyl)-beta-d-fructofuranosyl-alpha-d-glucopyranoside, and fourteen known phenolic compounds were isolated. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic analyses. Moreover, 1-6 exhibited moderate scavenging activities against DPPH radicals.  相似文献
