A NEW PROCEDURE FOR THE PHOSPHORYLATION OF NUCLEOSIDES: APPLICATION TO THE DISCOVERY OF INHIBITORS OF HIV INTEGRASE

A new phosphorylating agent for nucleosides, 2-O-(4,4′-dimethoxytrityl) ethylsulfonylethan-2′-yl-phosphate (1), has been developed by us. In the many examples studied by us, phosphorylation yields were found to be very high (about 90%). The procedure appears to be remarkably general and can be utilized for the phosphorylation of many biomolecules. Successful application of this phosphorylation method has contributed to the discovery of inhibitors of HIV integrase in our laboratory.     

一种新的近交系实验动物遗传监测方法及小鼠性别相关RAPD标记的发现

我们用21个10 bp的随机短引物对来自昆明、成都、上海、北京四个地方的BALB/c小鼠以及C57BL小鼠、昆明种小白鼠进行了随机扩增多态DNA(RAPD)分析,发现13个引物的扩增产物在BALB/c小鼠和C 57 BL小鼠中有差异,8个引物的扩增产物在BALB/c小鼠和昆明种小白鼠之间不同.在四个地方的BALB/c小鼠中,成都、上海、北京的BALB/c小鼠其遗传背景均一,而来自昆明的BALB/c小鼠中,有2只的4个引物的扩增产物不同于其它的BALB/c小鼠,表明这两只BALB/c小鼠可能曾发生过某种程度的遗传改变或污染。实验结果显示RAPD方法是一种有效的近交系实验动物遗传监测手段。实验中一个有趣的结果是,在OPG 2、OPE 4、OPE 9的扩增产物中,发现了严格的性别依赖的PAPD标记。OPE 9扩增产物中,凡雄性个体都有一条0.88 kb的标记.OPG 2、OPE 4则在所有的雄性个体中多扩增出一条约1.2 kb的带。通过交叉PCR扩增和斑点杂交证明OPG 2、OPE 4 得到的雄性特异性RAPD标记虽分子大小一致,但不具同源性。这些性别相关RAPD标记的染色体定位和性质分析正在进一步进行中.     

A NEW TECHNIQUE FOR ASSESSING THE CONTACT TOXICITY OF MOLLUSCICIDES TO SLUGS

A technique is described to accurately assess the dermal contactdose-mortality response of molluscicides. The technique involvescarbon dioxide anaesthesia of laboratory reared Deroceras reticulatum(Müller) followed by application of test substances insolution to the dorsal surface. The LD₅₀ of the substances testedwere as follows: Sodium pentachlorophenate, 55.9 ng.mg^–1,Copper sulphate, 124.1 ng.mg^–1, Methiocarb, 314.6 ng.mg^–1and Potassium permanganate, 418.9 ng.mg^–1 body weight. A NEW PROCEDURE FOR THE MEASUREMENT OF ACID-SOLUBLE GLUTAMINE OF TISSUE WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO THE BRAIN

—A simple method is described for the measurement of free brain glutamine by spectrophotometric means, without prior separation by either paper or column chromatography. Through the application of this method, it was also possible to obtain an approximate value for the combined concentrations of glutamic acid, y-aminobutyric acid and glutathione in brain.     

关于连鬓胡子遗传方式的探讨

为了探讨连鬓胡子的遗传方式，对７９个连鬓胡子家系进行了调查和分析。初步认为连鬓胡子是常染色体显性基因控制的限性遗传。     

超氧化物歧化酶同工酶分析法用于兽类分类的试探

本文以蝙蝠的5种组织和鼠类的红细胞为材料,从方法上探讨SOD同工酶的分析比较对于兽类分类的价值和意义。实验结果表明SOD同工酶的泳动速度和区带的分布组成,种与种之间有明显的区别,作为一个辅助的工具酶对于兽类的演化和物种的鉴定比较适用。此外,同种的个体间以及同个体的组织间未发现明显区别,这预示在分类工作中不必强调被分析个体数的多寡,也不必进行各组织的全面分析,有利于取材不易的或不能杀死取材的珍稀兽类物种间的比较分析。     

THE REACTION OF A GROUP OF ROTHSCHILD'S GIRAFFE TO A NEW ENVIRONMENT

The behaviour of a translocated group of 11 Rothschild's giraffe (Giraffa camelopardalis rothschildi Lydekker) was studied for 9 weeks in 1968. A comparison was made between their new and former habitats, the food plants eaten in both places, and behaviour. For 3 ¹/₂ months after release, they appeared to have settled in the area, but they suddenly started extending their range. Possible reasons are suggested for their failure to stay in the release area and their eventual disappearance.     

血清中Epstein-Barr病毒膜抗原IgA抗体检测法的改进及应用

用萄葡球菌菌体A蛋白(SPA)预先处理被检血清,以去除抗体IgG部份的竞争性结合,提高了间接免疫荧光法检查鼻咽癌病人血清中EB病毒膜抗原IgA(IgA/MA)抗体的敏感性及特异性,检查48例鼻咽癌病人血清IgA/MA抗体,阳性率为100％,血清几何平均滴度为141;40例其它恶性肿瘤病人和46例正常人都检不出IgA/MA抗体,免疫荧光法测得IgA/MA抗体阴性的6例鼻咽癌病人血清,SPA吸收后呈阳性反应,此改进方法可用以追踪观察鼻咽癌病的病程及预后。
