Nearly monodispersed Ag3PO4 nanocrystals with size of 10 nm were prepared through a colloidal chemical route. It was proven that the synthesized Ag3PO4 nanoparticles have intrinsic peroxidase-like catalytic activity. They can quickly catalyze oxidation of the peroxidase substrate 3, 3, 5, 5-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB) in the presence of H2O2, producing a blue color. The catalysis reaction follows Michaelis-Menten kinetics. The calculated kinetic parameters indicate a high catalytic activity and the strong affinity of Ag3PO4 nanocrystals to the substrate (TMB). These results suggest the potential applications of Ag3PO4 nanocrystals in fields such as biotechnology, environmental chemistry, and medicine.  相似文献

CuO and Cu2O are non‐noble transition metal oxide supercapacitive materials with high theoretical specific capacitances above 1800 F g?1. In this work, by adjusting organic additives of a colloidal system, Cu, Cu2O, and CuO are grown in situ on nickel foam. CuO exhibits a specific capacitance of 1355 F g?1 at 2 A g?1 in 3 m KOH, a value well above those of Cu and Cu2O (<500 F g?1), and is superior to other known CuO electrodes. The CuO electrode exhibits 70% of its initial capacity, and the Columbic efficiency remains ≈100% after 7000 cycles at 4 A g?1. Cu2O exhibits the worst electrochemical performance, mainly due to the inactive barrier layer forming on the surface. This work provides an efficient synthetic platform for both comparable supercapacitive studies and cost‐effective electrochemical energy storage applications.  相似文献

The electrophoretic mobilities of three bacterial strains were investigated by capillary electrophoresis (CE) and were compared with results obtained by microelectrophoresis (ME). The CE measurements yielded bimodal electropherograms for two of the strains, thus illustrating for the first time that surface charge variations within a monoclonal population can be probed by CE. Intrapopulation variations were not detected by ME. The mobilities of three chemically distinct types of latex microspheres were also measured. Differences between the mean mobilities obtained by CE and ME were not statistically significant (P ≤ 0.50); the standard deviations of the CE measurements were typically 2 to 10 times smaller than those obtained by comparable ME measurements. The reproducibility of CE permitted batch-to-batch mobility variations to be probed for the bacteria (one of the strains exhibited such variations), and aggregation was evident in one of the latex suspensions. 促血管生成素(Ang)家族是调节血管生成的一类细胞因子,包括Ang-1、Ang-2、Ang-3和Ang-4等4个成员,Ang-1和Ang-2是其中最重要的成员。Tie-2是Ang家族的共同受体。Ang-1与Tie-2结合后激活下游信号通路,起到抑制内皮凋亡、促进内皮存活和迁移、维持血管完整性的作用;Ang-2则是Ang-1天然的抑制剂,其拮抗的效应与局部血管内皮生长因子(VEGF)的水平有关,VEGF存在时促进新生血管形成,VEGF缺乏时则有利于血管的消退。Ang参与生理和病理性的血管新生,与肿瘤和其他疾病有密切的关系,有广泛的应用前景。  相似文献

Amphipols (APols) are short amphipathic polymers developed as an alternative to detergents for handling membrane proteins (MPs) in aqueous solution. MPs are, as a rule, much more stable following trapping with APols than they are in detergent solutions. The best-characterized APol to date, called A8-35, is a mixture of short-chain sodium polyacrylates randomly derivatized with octylamine and isopropylamine. Its solution properties have been studied in detail, and it has been used extensively for biochemical and biophysical studies of MPs. One of the attractive characteristics of APols is that it is relatively easy to label them, isotopically or otherwise, without affecting their physical-chemical properties. Furthermore, several variously modified APols can be mixed, achieving multiple functionalization of MP/APol complexes in the easiest possible manner. Labeled or tagged APols are being used to study the solution properties of APols, their miscibility, their biodistribution upon injection into living organisms, their association with MPs and the composition, structure and dynamics of MP/APol complexes, examining the exchange of surfactants at the surface of MPs, labeling MPs to follow their distribution in fractionation experiments or to immobilize them, increasing the contrast between APols and solvent or MPs in biophysical experiments, improving NMR spectra, etc. Labeling or functionalization of APols can take various courses, each of which has its specific constraints and advantages regarding both synthesis and purification. The present review offers an overview of the various derivatives of A8-35 and its congeners that have been developed in our laboratory and discusses the pros and cons of various synthetic routes.  相似文献
