应用Y染色体多态标记对汉族王姓亲缘关系的研究   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
Y染色体除拟常染色体区外 ,其它区域均缺乏重组 ,因而可保留其祖先历史上所发生的突变事件。作为研究父系遗传的工具 ,Y染色体多态具有独特的作用。中国传统上姓氏由父亲传给子女 ,遵循父系传递。本实验应用 Y染色体的 4个微卫星标记 (即 DYS1 9、DYS390、DYS391和 YCA2 ) ,对 50例北京汉族王姓男性 DNA样本进行了多态性分析 ,并与本实验室对 50例汉族男性随机样本应用前 3个位点检测的结果相比较 ,结果表明 :北京汉族王姓男性携带的 Y染色体单体型与对照无差异。王姓有复杂的多起源可能可以解释这一结果。  相似文献

“野茉莉”一名出自清代的《植物名实图考》,曾长期作Styracaceae科、Styrax属的汉名,至今仍作S.japonica的汉名使用。但经考证,“野茉莉”的原植物系明代《草花谱》中的紫茉莉(Mirabilis jalapa).因此,将Styracaceae、Styrax的科、属汉名订正为“安息香”是正确的、合理的;但“野茉莉”既属误称,便不宜再作种或变种的汉名使用。故建议对S.japonica及其变种var.colycothrix以及该属植物S.grandiflora的汉名作相应的订正。  相似文献

The name Arthromitus has been applied collectively to conspicuous filamentous bacteria found in the hindguts of termites and other arthropods. First observed by Joseph Leidy in 1849, the identity of these filaments has remained contentious. While Margulis and colleagues declared them to be a life stage of Bacillus cereus, others have assumed them to belong to the same lineage as the segmented filamentous bacteria (SFB) from vertebrate guts, a group that has garnered much attention due to their unique ability to specifically modulate their host's immune response. Both SFB and Arthromitus filaments from arthropod guts were grouped under provisional name 'Candidatus Arthromitus' by Snel and colleagues as they share a striking similarity in terms of their morphology and close contact to the host gut wall. While SFB form a distinct lineage within the family Clostridiaceae, the identity of the filaments from arthropod guts remains elusive. Using whole-genome amplification of single filaments capillary picked from termite guts and fluorescence in situ hybridization of 16S rRNA with group-specific oligonucleotide probes, we show that they represent a monophyletic lineage within the family Lachnospiraceae distinct from that of SFB. Therefore, 'Candidatus Arthromitus' can no longer be used for both groups. Given the historic precedence, we propose to reserve this name for the filaments that were originally described by Leidy. For the SFB from vertebrate guts, we propose the provisional name 'Candidatus Savagella' in honour of the American gut microbiologist Dwayne C. Savage, who was the first to describe that important bacterial group.  相似文献

The frequencies and spectra of surnames have been analyzed in groups of raions (districts) of the Belgorod oblast (region) with different degrees of population subdivision. The "family name portraits" of districts with low (0.00003 less sign f* < 0.00022, f*(r) = 0.00015) and moderate (0.00023 < f*(r) < 0.00042, f*(r) = 0.00029) inbreeding levels are similar both to each other and to the "family name portrait" of the Belgorod oblast as a whole. Districts with high subdivision levels (0.00043 < f*(r) < 0.00125, f*(r) = 0.00072) had very distinctive surname spectra and the highest surname frequencies. Intense immigration to the Belgorod oblast significantly affects its population genetic structure, decreasing the population subdivision.  相似文献

Babblers, family Timaliidae, have long been subject to debate on systematic position, family limits and internal taxonomy. In this study, we use five molecular regions to estimate the relationships among a large proportion of genera traditionally placed in Timaliidae. We find good support for five main clades within this radiation, and propose a new classification, dividing the babblers into the families Sylviidae and Timaliidae. Within the latter family, four subfamilies are recognized: Zosteropinae, Timaliinae, Pellorneinae and Leiothrichinae. Several taxa, previously not studied with molecular data, are phylogenetically placed within Sylviidae or Timaliidae. This is, however, not the case for the genus Pnoepyga , for which we propose the family name Pnoepygidae fam. n.  相似文献

Most genes are members of a family. It is generally believed that a gene family derives from an ancestral gene by duplication and divergence. The tumor suppressor p53 was a striking exception to this established rule. However, two new p53 homologs, p63 and p73, have recently been described [1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6]. At the sequence level, p63 and p73 are more similar to each other than each is to p53, suggesting the possibility that the ancestral gene is a gene resembling p63/p73, while p53 is phylogenetically younger [1 and 2].

The complexity of the family has also been enriched by the alternatively spliced forms of p63 and p73, which give rise to a complex network of proteins involved in the control of cell proliferation, apoptosis and development [1, 2, 4, 7, 8 and 9].

In this review we will mainly focus on similarities and differences as well as relationships among p63, p73 and p53.  相似文献

The phylum Chlamydiae contains obligate intracellular bacteria, several of which cause disease in their hosts. Morphological studies have suggested that this group of bacteria may be pathogens of fish, causing cysts in epithelial tissue – epitheliocystis. Recently, the first genetic evidence of a chlamydial aetiology of this disease in seawater reared Atlantic salmon from Norway and Ireland was presented, and the agent was given the name ' Candidatus Piscichlamydia salmonis'. In this article we present molecular evidence for the existence of a novel Chlamydiae that also may cause epitheliocystis in Norwegian salmonids. This novel Chlamydiae has been found in salmonid fish from freshwater, and based on its partial 16S rRNA gene, it may constitute a third genus in the family Chlamydiaceae , or a closely related sister family. By using whole-mount RNA–RNA hybridization we demonstrate how infected cells are distributed in a patchy manner on a gill arch. The morphology of the novel Chlamydiae includes the characteristic head-and-tail cells that have been described earlier from salmonid fish suffering from epitheliocystis. We propose the name ' Candidatus Clavochlamydia salmonicola' for this agent of epitheliocystis in freshwater salmonids.  相似文献

The information required by family doctors on initial and final discharge reports from hospitals was specified and 546 such reports from hospitals in Aylesbury, Amersham, Banbury, Oxford, and High Wycombe were reviewed for the availability and accessibility of important information. Several items could have been recorded better, including the name of the hospital, the specialty (or department) concerned, and the name of the consultant in charge of the case. Drug reactions seemed to be under-reported in the initial discharge reports and information about treatment on discharge was inadequate. The recording of the prognosis and information given to the patient was deficient and communication on follow-up needs to be improved. The use of obscure abbreviations was widespread. There is room for improvement in the ease of access to important information, especially the diagnostic assessment, and the time taken for final reports to reach the general practitioner.  相似文献
