The investigation of stems and leaves of Catha cassinoides afforded, in addition to sitosterol, β-amyrin, ursolic acid, lup-20(29)-en-3β,30-diol and friedelin, three new pentacyclic triterpenes: 30-hydroxyfriedelan-3-one, 29-hydroxyfriedelan-3-one and 3-oxo-friedelan-29-oic acid. Solavetivone, 3-hydroxysolavetivone, solanascone, phytuberin and phytuberol were identified as stress compounds in leaves of Nicotiana tabacum cv Samsun NN. N. sylvestris, which is the maternal progenitor of N. tabacum, produced all the above compounds except 3-hydroxysolavetivone. In the F1, hybrid of N. tabacum and N. glutinosa, all the stress compounds produced by N. tabacum and N. glutinosa, respectively, were accumulated.  相似文献

The petrol extracts of the leaves of Calophyllum lankaensis and C. thwaitesii yielded D:A-friedo-oleanan-3-one, 28-hydroxy-D:A-friedo-oleanan-3-one (canophyllol), 28-oxo-D:A-friedo-oleanan-3-one (canophyllal calozeylanic acid, thwaitesic acid, isothwaitesic acid and apetalactone. Caffeic, coumaric, sinapic and ferulic acids and naringenin were found in green tomato fruit, Chlorogenic acid accounted for 75% of the total phenolics in mature green fruit but only 35% in ripe fruit. There was very little change in the phenolic composition of the flesh of the fruit during ripening, whereas in the skin, naringenin increased markedly at the onset of the climacteric and three unidentified compounds increased during the climacteric rise. The increase in the concentration of naringenin was accompanied by an increase in the production of ethylene in the skin. Investigation of three systems producing ethylene from 4-methylmercapto-2-oxobutyric acid in the presence of peroxidase, showed that only p`-coumaric acid or naringenin were capable of acting as phenolic substrates, the other phenolic compounds being inhibitory.  相似文献

An extracellular arabinogalactan-protein was obtained from suspension-cultured tobacco cells. It seemed to be a homogeneous preparation from the results of gel-filtration, ultracentrifugation and disc gel electrophoresis. Its MW was estimated to be 2.24 × 105 and its sedimentation coefficient (S20,w) was calculated to be 5.07 S. It consisted of arabinose (40.0%), galactose (36.2%), rhamnose (0.8 %), glucuronic acid (10.0 %), glucosamine (0.2 %), galactosamine (0.1%) and protein (5.5 %). The sugar moiety appeared to be a typical arabino-3,6-galactan. A d-glucuronic acid residue was present as the non-reducing terminal group and was attached to C(O)-6 of a d-galactosyl residue by β-linkage.  相似文献

An N-acylamino acid acylase was partially purified from tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum) leaves and some of its properties are described. It hydrolyses N-acetylarginine, N-acetylmethionine, N-acetylcysteine and to a lesser extent N-formylmethionine. The constituents of the steam volatile oils from two kinds of Allium fistulosum, A. fistulosum var. caespitosum and A. chinense, have been investigated by GC and spectral techniques (IR, UV, GC/MS, 1H NMR and 13C NMR). The compounds identified from the neutral fraction of each volatile oil included sulphides, thiolanes, alcohols, aldehydes, ketones, furanones and others. Among the sulphur compounds, dipropyl disulphide comprised ca 28% of A. fistulosum oil, ca 23% of A. fistulosum var. caespitosum oil and ca 30% of A. chinense oil. A. fistulosum oil was characterized by a large quantity of tridecan-2-one (ca 52%) and 2,3-dihydro-2-octyl-5-methylfuran-3-one (ca 16%). Also, a large amount of 2,3-dihydro-2-hexyl-5-methylfuran-3-one (ca 20%) was isolated from A. chinense oil.  相似文献

Cestric acid, a new phenolic ester was isolated from leaves of Cestrum euanthes. By means of GC, HPLC, mass spectroscopy, GC/MS, and 13C NMR, it was shown to be an ester of caffeic acid with glucaric acid. The ester occurs as an equilibrium mixture of four isomers.  相似文献
