沙质草地生境中大型土壤动物对土地沙漠化的响应   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2

沙质草地沙漠化过程中土壤动物群落结构变化是沙漠化生物过程中的一个重要方面,对于掌握沙漠化过程中生物退化规律和提出合理沙漠化防治对策具有重要指导作用。选取处于不同沙漠化阶段的流动沙地、半流动沙地、半固定沙地、固定沙地和丘间低地5种生境类型,采用手拣法对其大型土壤动物群落进行了调查。共获得36个动物类群,属于8目32科,优势类群为蚁科,常见类群有22个类群,两个类群的个体数共占群落个体总数的93.33%;稀有类群有13个类群,其个体数占群落个体总数的6.67%。结果显示,丘间低地、固定沙地、半固定沙地和半流动沙地大型土壤动物群落个体数量、类群数和多样性显著高于流动沙地(P<0.05);固定沙地大型土壤动物生物量显著高于其它生境类型(P<0.05);沙质草地严重沙漠化显著地影响大型土壤动物多样性及其生物量。并且,不同土壤动物类群个体对不同沙漠化阶段生境的适应性存在一定差异,产生了不同的响应模式。土壤有机碳和酸碱度以及土壤含水量差异是影响大型土壤动物类群分布与生长的主要因素。研究表明,固定沙地是大型土壤动物的适宜沙地生境,具有较多的个体数量和较高的生物量;丘间低地、半固定沙地、半固定沙地和流动沙地影响大型土壤动物存活,其个体数量和生物量较低。  相似文献

我国西南岩溶地区石漠化是人地矛盾作用下生态系统退化的过程或结果,石漠化不仅带来水土流失加剧、旱涝灾害频发、生物多样性降低等生态问题,还会带来贫困落后等一系列社会问题。20世纪80年代开始进行的石漠化治理工作已经成为我国西南岩溶地区生态文明建设的重要举措与必由之路,通过近40年来的石漠化治理使得我国西南岩溶地区石漠化问题恶化的趋势开始得到扭转。面向生态文明新时期的建设目标,石漠化脆弱区仍存在人地矛盾难以全面消除、治理成果可持续性亟待提升等问题,石漠化防治需要从多年来石漠化治理研究与实践探索积累中汲取有益于促进人地和谐、提升生态系统可持续性的治理经验与做法。因此,本文以石漠化治理典型区域调研资料与文献资料为数据基础,从石漠化治理目标、技术、措施和模式四个层面梳理石漠化治理经验与做法,归纳总结出石漠化综合治理四点配置原则:(1)以治理目标与预期周期为导向,确立石漠化治理采取的措施;(2)针对解决的关键生态退化问题,结合区域特征遴选石漠化治理技术;(3)针对石漠化退化阶段的差异,确定石漠化治理途径措施;(4)结合石漠化综合治理模式的共性特征,以小流域为基本单元,因地制宜的选择与构建石漠化综合治理模式。以期通过对实践经验的总结为石漠化治理过程中选择具备区位适宜性和机理明晰性的生态技术提供参考。  相似文献

Atmospheric dust has wide-reaching effects, not only influencing climate conditions, but also ecosystems. The eastern region of the Asian continent is one of the largest emitters of dust in the world, and recent economic growth in the region has been accompanied by an increase in anthropogenic emissions. However, the effects of increased Asian dusts on aquatic ecosystems are not well understood. We examined fossil pigments and zooplankton remains from 210Pb-dated sediments taken from high mountain lakes of Hourai-Numa and Hachiman-Numa, located in the Towada-Hachimantai National Park of Japan Islands, to uncover historical changes in the phyto- and zooplankton community over the past 100?years. Simultaneously, we measured the geochemical variables of TOC, TN, TP, ??13C, ??15N, and lead isotopes (207Pb/206Pb, 208Pb/206Pb) in the sediments to identify environmental factors causing such changes. As a result, despite few anthropogenic activities in the watersheds, alpine lakes in Japan had increased algal and herbivore plankton biomasses by 3?C6 fold for recent years depending on the surrounding terrestrial vegetation and landscape conditions. Biological and biogeochemical proxies recorded from the lake sediments showed that this eutrophication occurred after the 1990s when P deposition increased as a result of atmospheric loading of dust transported from the Asian continent. The continued increase of anthropogenically produced dust may therefore impart damaging impacts on mountain ecosystems even if they are protected from direct anthropogenic disturbances.  相似文献

近百年来,温室效应的日益加剧,引发了全球温暖化、海平面上升等一系列重大环境问题,碳循环研究因此而受到全球范围的普遍关注和重视.东亚地区因其独特的气候特征,多样化的物种和生态系统,以及活跃的人类活动而成为世界碳循环研究中不可或缺的一部分.在中、日、韩三国联合启动东亚碳循环前沿研究计划(A3 Foresight Program)三周年之际,《中国科学生命科学》(Science China Life Sciences)2010年第7期发表了东亚地区碳循环研究专题,包括14篇述评和研究论文,从区域碳储量及其变化特征,不同地带森林生态系统的碳源汇变化,草地和农田生态系统的碳储量和碳循环研究中的新方法等多个方面系统展示了东亚地区碳循环研究的最新进展.  相似文献

To evaluate the contribution of the long-range transport of heavy metals from the Asian continent to the enrichment of surface sediments in western Japan, heavy-metal (Cd, Cu, Pb, Sb, and Zn) concentrations were measured in sediment cores collected at three sites each in Lakes Shinji and Nakaumi. Sedimentation fluxes of these metals were calculated on the basis of their concentrations in excess of their background concentrations. Pb showed similar sedimentation fluxes in the sites, suggesting a predominant contribution of atmospheric deposition of Pb transported from the Asian continent to the input to the lakes. In contrast, the sedimentation fluxes of heavy metals other than Pb in the surface sediments were markedly high near the estuary of a principal river flowing into Lake Nakaumi. A highly positive correlation was observed between the Cd and Zn concentrations in the cores at each site (r 2 = 0.84–0.97). The Cd/Zn ratios in the surface sediments (1990–2007) indicated that Lake Shinji sediments have ratios of 0.0067–0.0074, higher than those of Tokyo Bay sediments (0.0054 on average in 1990–2003), which have been polluted primarily by effluent discharges. In contrast, the ratios in Lake Nakaumi sediments (0.0053–0.0060) were close to those in Tokyo Bay sediments. Rainwater and aerosols, which were strongly affected by air pollutants from the Asian continent, have much higher Cd/Zn ratios of 0.014–0.016. This suggests that the Lake Shinji sediments with higher Cd/Zn ratios are less affected by effluent discharges. Hence, Lake Shinji sediments may be suitable for assessing the environmental impact of the long-range transport of heavy metals from the Asian continent.  相似文献

Arid and semiarid regions cover one third of the continental areas on Earth. These regions are very sensitive to a variety of physical, chemical and biological degradation processes collectively called desertification. Although interest in desertification has varied widely in time, there is a renewed concern about the evolution of dryland ecosystems because (1) a significant fraction of existing drylands already suffers from miscellaneous degradation processes, (2) increasing populations will inevitably result in further over-utilization of the remaining productive areas, (3) climatic changes expected from the greenhouse warming might result in drier continental interiors, and (4) some of the desertification processes themselves may amplify local or regional climatic changes. This paper reviews some of the many aspects of this issue in the context of the Global Change research program.  相似文献

The Paleogene sediments of the southwest Tarim Basin along the West Kunlun Shan in western China include the remnants of the easternmost extent of a large epicontinental sea. This shallow sea once extended across the Eurasian continent before it retreated westward and eventually separated as the Paratethys Sea. Climate modeling results suggest that this sea retreat is an equally important forcing mechanism as the Tibetan plateau uplift in the aridification of the Asian continental interior and the intensification of the Asian monsoon system. The age and paleogeography of the retreat are poorly constrained, hindering the understanding of its cause and paleoenvironmental impacts. This study reports litho- and biostratigraphic results from two sections recording the last major regression out of the Tarim Basin that is expressed by a regional transition from marine clastics and limestones to continental red-beds. Rich micro- and macrofossil assemblages, including benthic foraminifera, ostracods, bivalves, calcareous nannofossils and organic walled dinoflagellate cysts (dinocysts), indicate a shallow, proximal and marine environment. Strong similarity to assemblages known from Central Asia and Europe confirms that surface–ocean connections extended across Eurasia from the Tarim Basin to the western Tethys during the latest Eocene. Moreover, the recovered fossil associations date the last marine sediments as earliest Priabonian in age (~ 37 Ma; overlap between dinoflagellate Mps Interval Zone and calcareous nannofossil Zone CP 14). The retreat of the sea from the Tarim Basin is time-equivalent with the sea level lowstand at the Bartonian–Priabonian boundary but pre-dates both the Oligocene–Miocene regional uplift of the Pamir mountains and Kunlun Shan and the major eustatic sea-level falls of the Eocene–Oligocene Transition (~ 34 Ma) and mid-Oligocene (~ 30 Ma), which are usually held responsible for the sea retreat. Furthermore, a concomitant and significant aridification step occurs at ~ 36.6 Ma (top of chron C17n.1n) as recorded by regional sedimentary records of the Xining Basin along the northeastern Tibetan Plateau, suggesting that the Tarim Sea served as a significant moisture contributor for the Asian interior.  相似文献

以黄河源区玛曲县沙化草地为对象,运用景观生态学原理,借助地理信息系统技术,选取景观异质性指数(景观多样性、景观优势度)、景观破碎化指数(斑块密度、分离度)、形状指数(伸长指数、分维数)3类指标,分析了黄河源区沙化草地不同景观类型的空间分布及景观格局现状特征.结果表明,区域整体景观结构简单,局部变化复杂,自然景观仍是景观变化的主体,景观结构受草地、湿地、灌木林地等少数自然景观类型控制.区域景观斑块呈条带状分布,各景观条带差异较大,从河流阶地带到低山草地带到高山草甸带,景观斑块类型减少,景观多样性减小,景观破碎化程度减弱,景观结构呈简单化趋势.沙化景观尤其是流动沙地对景观结构的影响较大,在区域景观异质性增强及破碎化加剧过程中起主要作用.固定沙地、半固定沙地和潜在沙化土地也不同程度地影响着景观的构成及变化;人工景观比沙化景观对景观结构的影响小,但其潜在变化空间较大.人工景观和沙化景观将是未来区域景观结构变化的共同主导因素.  相似文献

生境适宜性评价是物种保护和生境管理与规划的基础。近几十年来,云南境内野生亚洲象数量剧增,外扩迁移事件频发,而新迁入区域生境适宜状况因物种出现点数据缺乏而难以评价,掣肘迁移亚洲象保护与风险防范应急。以亚洲象新近迁入的元江-李仙江流域为案例区,采用荟萃分析统计亚洲象生境评价因子,结合相关性分析和方差膨胀因子独立性检验,筛选出生境评价因子;基于开源遥感数据产品量化生境因子,综合主成分分析和层次分析计算生境评价因子权重,采用生境适宜性指数(Habitat Suitability Index, HSI)模型评价元江-李仙江流域亚洲象生境适宜性,并分析其景观格局。结果表明:(1)元江-李仙江流域亚洲象生境适宜性空间格局主要表现为由下游至上游呈递减趋势,最适生境主要分布于流域下游段,而流域上游段适宜生境少;(2)元江流域生境适宜性低于李仙江流域,且其生境斑块连接度更低、破碎化更严重;(3)2021年“北移象群”北迁沿程生境适宜性由西南向东北呈下降趋势。基于亚洲象生境适宜性评价结果,科学引导野生亚洲象迁入适宜生境区,以规避人象冲突,保障外迁亚洲象群及其活动区居民生命财产安全,服务于区域生物多样性保护与...  相似文献

Range-wide genetic variation of the widespread cold-temperate spruce Picea jezoensis was studied throughout northeast Asia using maternally inherited mitochondrial DNA and paternally inherited chloroplast DNA markers. This study assessed 33 natural populations including three varieties of the species in Japan, Russia, China, and South Korea. We depicted sharp suture zones in straits around Japan in the geographical distribution pattern of mitochondrial haplotypes (GST=0.901; NST=0.934). In contrast, we detected possible extensive pollen flow without seed flow across the straits around Japan during the past population history in the distribution pattern of chloroplast haplotypes (GST=0.233; NST=0.333). The analysis of isolation by distance of the species implied that by acting as a barrier for the movement of seeds and pollen, the sharp suture zones contributed considerably to the level of genetic differentiation between populations. Constructed networks of mitochondrial haplotypes allowed inference of the phylogeographical history of the species. We deduced that the disjunction with Kamchatka populations reflects range expansion and contraction to the north of the current distribution. Within Japan, we detected phylogeographically different types of P. jezoensis between Hokkaido and Honshu islands; P. jezoensis in Honshu Island may have colonized this region from the Asian continent via the Korean peninsula and the species in Hokkaido Island is likely to have spread from the Asian continent via Sakhalin through land bridges. Japanese endemism of mitochondrial haplotypes in Hokkaido and Honshu islands might have been promoted by separation of these islands from each other and from the Asian continent by the straits during the late Quaternary.  相似文献

生态安全格局构建是生态安全屏障建设和防风固沙能力提升的关键。北方防沙带是我国主要的风沙策源区,也是防治沙化的核心区,具有干燥少雨、植被稀疏、沙漠广布等生态特征,针对如何在北方防沙带构建适宜的生态安全格局做了研究探讨。以位于北方防沙带中部的民勤县为研究案例,基于“基质脆弱、廊道稀疏、斑块零碎”的景观基底和风沙源扩散机制,提出面向北方防沙带防风固沙能力提升的“控风源-堵风口-筑风廊-优网络”风沙阻隔型生态安全格局构建逻辑范式。结果表明该范式有助于深入了解北方防沙带生态安全问题与生态安全维持机制,可为其他干旱区生态安全格局构建提供新思路。  相似文献

In order to study the differentiation of Asian colobines, fourteen variables were analysed in one way, on 123 skulls, includingRhinopithecus, Presbytis, Presbytiscus, Pygathrix, andNasalis with both cluster and differentiated functions tests. Information on paleoenvironment changes in China and South-East Asia since late Tertiary have been used to examine the influences of migratory habits and the distribution range in Asian colobines. The cladogram among different Asian colobines genera was made from the results of various analysis. Some new points or revisions were suggested: 1. Following the second migratory way, ancient species of Asian colobines perhaps passed through Xizang along the northern bank of Tethis sea and Heng-Duan Shan regions, across Yunnan into Vietnam, since the ancient continent between Yunnan and Xizang was already located in on eastern bank of Tethis sea. Thus, during the evolution, Asian colobines must have had two original centres, i.e. “Sundaland” and Heng-Duan Shan Chinese regions; 2. Pygatrix possesses a lot of cranial features more similar toPresbytiscus than toRhinopithecus. The small difference from the modification combinesPygatrix with other two genera as shown by Groves (1970), but it is better to putPygatrix andPresbytiscus together as one genus; 3.Nasalis (2n=48) may be the most primitive genus within Asian colobines. Some features shared withRhinopithecus, for example body size, terrestrial activities, limb proportion etc. ...seem to be considered as a common inheritance of symlesiomorphus characters; 4.Rhinopithecus, with reference to cranioface and cranium or to its origin, is a special genus of Asian colobine. 全球变暖导致的区域干旱使得干旱区水资源日益匮乏,而迅速增长的人口和社会经济发展进一步加剧水资源危机,使得有限的水资源成为全球沙漠化防治瓶颈,严重制约了沙化土地治理进程,影响了联合国"土地退化总面积零增长"目标的实现,也影响了中国社会经济的可持续和协调发展。传统的沙化土地治理生物措施重视植被盖度增加,忽视生态系统其他要素,如土壤水分、养分等与植被的相互关系,导致一些治理措施相对简单,生态系统不能协调发展。而沙化土地治理的物理措施和化学措施由于忽视了沙区社会和经济效益,其可持续性也受到科学家质疑。近期获批的国家重点研发计划项目"中国北方半干旱荒漠区沙漠化防治关键技术与示范"(2016YFC0500900)拟针对此问题开展研究,以沙化土地稳定恢复为首要目标,在认识半干旱荒漠区沙化土地正/逆过程演变机制和荒漠生态系统稳定性的基础上,研究沙化土地稳定恢复的生态阈值;以毛乌素沙地、库布齐沙漠东部、科尔沁沙地西部和呼伦贝尔沙地为典型区,针对不同沙化土地特点,研发防沙治沙关键技术,开展模式优化和试验示范;在防沙治沙模式与工程效益评估基础上,集成产业化技术体系,为国家防沙治沙工程建设提供理论基础与技术支撑。  相似文献

植被作为生态系统的重要组成部分,联结着大气、水分和土壤等自然过程,其变化将直接影响该区域气候水文和土壤等状况,是区域生态系统质量变化的重要指示器。植被状况的好坏,主要通过生物量和植被覆盖度因子来表示。内蒙古自治区是我国北方生态环境问题十分严重的省份,弄清当前区域生态系统质量状况与变化及其近10年来变化的驱动因素,对分析与制定区域生态环境保护决策具有十分重要的意义。基于2000—2010年生物量和植被覆盖度,并结合地区植被区划数据,对内蒙古植被生态系统质量状况进行分析,并评估其与气候(降水、温度),人类活动(交通密度、农业发展、生态恢复工程)的相关关系,在此基础上探讨了气候和人类活动对近年来内蒙古生态系统质量变化的影响。结果表明:(1)内蒙古生态系统质量状况整体偏低,其中森林生态系统平均质量最高,灌丛、草原生态系统次之。空间分布呈明显的经度地带性,由东向西,质量逐渐降低。2000—2010年内蒙古生态系统质量总体上呈现缓慢增长趋势,但局部地区生态系统质量仍存在恶化,其中在107°E以东的草原和森林区域,生态系统质量变化十分剧烈。(2)近10年来内蒙古生态系统质量的变化与气候和人类活动的关系非常密切,其与降水、GDP1、化肥施用量、天保工程和退耕还草工程呈现明显的正相关。而与温度、道路密度和京津风沙治理工程呈现明显的负相关。其中,生态保护工程实施区域内和区域外的相关性存在显著的差异性。随着内蒙古社会经济的快速发展,人类活动对生态系统质量的影响逐渐加强,但降水仍是该地区生态系统质量的主要影响因子。(3)在内蒙古生态系统质量变化典型区域内,质量的增长主要是由于降水的增加、温度的降低、农业的发展、退耕还草工程的作用和交通发展的放缓。质量的降低则是因为降水的减少、温度的增加、农业发展缓慢和交通发展的加快所致。  相似文献

Six enzyme polymorphisms have been studied in European and Asian populations, using kinship as an index of genetic differentiation. Four clusters of populations are apparent, corresponding to four geographical regions. The differences between such groups account for a large fraction of genetic diversity, while minor differences are apparent between populations belonging to the same continent or subcontinent. The kinship as bioassayed from three loci (GLO, ESD, 6-PGD) correlates significantly with space, showing an exponential decline with the increase of distance between populations.  相似文献

While there are a number of sleep medicine and sleep research publications in Asia, and their quality is increasing each year, the actual situation of sleep disorders in the general population still remains an issue of major concern. Scientists and medical doctors believe that, for the first time in history, the general lack of sleep could lead to a diminution of life expectancy. It is also known that, as people are working more and more and are more tired, they are more likely to become victims of accidents. Most of the time these incidents have little gravity, but sometimes they can cost thousands of innocent lives or contribute to disasters such as the Chernobyl nuclear plant explosion or the Bhopal gas tragedy. Based on the Asian Sleep Research Society Summit and Symposium Round Table held during the fall of 2009 on Okinawa, this review aims to give an accurate view of the actual situation of sleep research and medicine in Asia. The particular example of the obstructive sleep apnea syndrome will illustrate the importance of sleep medicine in this part of the world. Finally, the actual situation will be discussed to elaborate some possible strategies to improve the sleep situation for Asian populations.

Both ecological and phylogenetic factors and their interaction influence primate social structure. Food resources, in particular, affect social structure parameters such as sex/age composition, group size, home range size, and individual density. As a group, the Asian colobines may be partially buffered from the impact of food constraints on social structure, given their specialized digestive physiology. Asian colobines are able to subsist on mature foliage, a relatively abundant and non-patchily distributed resource, when preferred foods are not available. In food limited populations, increases in group size or density should cause increases in home range size. We did not find this relationship for Asian colobines, however, and thus it would appear that the majority of Asian colobine populations are below carrying capacity. Food may be less of a limitation to populations than other factors, such as social stress. The formation of bands (associations between relatively stable groups) has been documented for bothNasalis andRhinopithecus, and based on recent data for severalPresbytis andTrachypithecus species, we predict that band formation is the norm for the Asian colobines, includingPygathrix. Group home ranges forPresbytis andTrachypithecus species typically overlap and both intergroup tolerance and intergroup aggression are observed. This suggests that groups form differentiated relationships, tolerating some groups but not others. Such differentiated relationships are the foundation of band formation.  相似文献

半个多世纪的防沙治沙,在甘肃河西绿洲边缘上风向形成了一条积沙带。积沙带作为防沙治沙的副产物,具有怎样的生态功能,有何生态意义?通过全面考察河西绿洲边缘积沙带并运用21个样点资料进行了分析。结果表明:1)积沙带作为绿洲边缘防沙固沙的副产物,其自身也具有防风阻沙的功能,积沙带的形成有利于绿洲边缘的防风阻沙。2)高度是表征积沙带防御风的功能的一个重要指标,积沙带越是高大,防御风的范围就越大。3)目前,河西绿洲边缘积沙带处于发育状态。只要控制了积沙带就能有效控制流沙侵入农田。今后应将绿洲边缘防沙治沙的重点放在积沙带上,尤其是积沙带的沙脊线上,而对荒漠-绿洲过渡带(阻沙带)实行封育,无需采取其他投入措施,这样就可以大面积压缩实施人工措施的范围,大大降低防沙治沙的资金投入,提高防沙治沙的投资效益。  相似文献

Extra-arid desert is a terminal of biological geochemistry circulation system. It has important value in scientific research and huge new discoveries, which is very useful in many regions, such as energy resources, mineral, water resources, ecology, biodiversity, tourism and characteristic agriculture. Meanwhile, extra-arid area’s desertification is a serious threat to the ecological safety of earth. Aeolian desertification is one of style of desertification caused by water shortage. Once desert has formed, it is very difficult to management or recovery. One of most effective methods for desert control is using integrated ecosystem management based on considering water and the soil. Therefore, it is very important to find a new available water resource, and authors’ research is in this field. In this paper, we select a Gobi on Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes of Kumtag desert fringe, where the buried depth of phreatic water is over 200 m. Using an arched shed-air conditioning system, where covered drift sand thickness of 2.0 m, the phreatic evaporation was measured for the first time. In order to analyze influence factors, the evaporation of phreatic water on Gobi was measured and compared. The temperature of soil and air, the humidity inside and outside of the arched shed were also monitored. It is found that the phreatic water under sand can go through sand layer and get to surface, which forms evaporation. The amount of evaporation changes along with solar radiation and temperature fluctuations in the day. It also changes periodically in the year. During five months from June to October, the sunshine time is longer and temperature is higher, and the evaporation is higher too, and the mean daily evaporation is 3.6 g/(m2 d). In other periods, the amount of evaporation of phreatic water is extremely weak. It is difficult to monitor by the arched shed-air conditioning system. Compared with Gobi region, the amount of evaporation of phreatic water on dune is very low, which is only 15.0% evaporation on Gobi. The key reason is the difference of salts in soil. The crystal water could be decomposed from salts or combined again. This reversible process plays a key role in transferring phreatic water of dune and Gobi. The amount of phreatic evaporation is proportional to the salts content in shallow soil. The salts content in dune is only 0.7% of salts content in Gobi, and water content in dune is 3.2% of the Gobi soil. According to results of monitoring, the water content is low in sand. The crystal water in shifting sand could be completely decomposed from salts with temperature rising. It causes relative humidity (RH) decreasing, which is inversely in the sand compared to in Gobi soil. In depth of 10 cm sand, the daily fluctuation is about 10%, which is significantly higher than that of in Gobi soil (3%). As the crystalline salt is a kind of typical water carrier, decreasing the content of crystalline salt results to reduce water transporting because carrying capacity of water is significantly reduced. After condensing and collecting 168 days, 9808 g of water was outputted from sand. However, the water content in sand was still obviously higher than original content. That means the underground vapor migrates upward, and the phreatic water moves to surface. From the evaporation comparison of dune and Gobi, we can conclude that the amount of evaporation could be controlled by changing the soil property in interface, this points out the direction for utilization of phreatic water evaporation.  相似文献
