本文以不同氮、糖含量的系列人工饲料为材料,研究了稻纵卷叶螟Cnaphalocrocis medinalis Guenée幼虫的营养消耗和利用。结果表明,3龄幼虫对不同氮或糖含量饲料的营养指标之间无显著差异、其对氮的消耗与利用指标与试验中饲料的含氮量之间也无显著关系;对于5龄幼虫而言,相对生长速率(RGR)以氮含量1.53%和1.16%饲料时最高、糖含量为16.75%饲料时RGR最高,氮消耗速率(NCR)在氮含量1.46%饲料时最大,在氮含量1.33%和1.46%饲料上的氮利用率(NUR)值最低。5龄幼虫取食高氮饲料时的NUR及NCR高于低氮饲料。5龄幼虫的氮利用率和氮生成速率(NPR)均低于3龄幼虫,导致虫体含氮量的迅速下降。这些结果表明稻纵卷叶螟3龄幼虫对氮的需求与利用比5龄幼虫高。  相似文献

分别用含氮量为1.48%、2.31%、2.89%和3.64%的人工饲料和嫩棉铃饲养棉铃虫(Heliotkls arraigera),测定6龄幼虫对食物和氮的利用效率,并研究饲料氮对棉铃虫发育和繁殖的影响.结果表明,随饲料含氮量的增加,幼虫发育历期减短,6龄幼虫的干重和食物利用率均有所增加,虫体和虫类的含氮量增高.当饲料含氮量从1.48%增加到2.89%时,氮累积速率(NAR)增长了45%,氮利用率(NUR)增加16%,种群增长指数增加65%.饲料氮从2.89%增至3.64%,NAR值不变,NUR值和种群增长指数分别下降25%和10%.饲料含氮量在1.48%和2.89%之间时,正是棉铃中含氮量变化的幅度,在这幅度间对棉铃虫发育繁殖的影晌最大.饲料含氮量在2.31%至2.89%时,是幼虫生长发育最适宜的范围,成虫繁殖力最强.这是它对寄主作物长期适应的结果.饲料含氮量过高或过低对棉铃虫的发育和繁殖都是不利的.  相似文献

在25℃下分别用棉叶/桃和人工饲料饲养棉铃虫(Heliothis armigera),测定幼虫对食物中氮的利用效率,以及通过棉铃虫不同发育期的氮流.除棉叶/桃组2—3龄幼虫的氮累积速率低于4龄幼虫外,两组幼虫对食物中氮的消耗速率、虫体氮的累积速率(毫克氮/毫克千重/天)和幼虫含氮百分率均随幼虫龄期的增加而降低.氮的排出速率(毫克氮/毫克干重/天)在2—3龄期间趋于降低,但4龄以后略有升高,幼虫发育后期的粪便含氮百分率也趋于升高.因此,幼虫在4龄以后对食物中氮的利用效率显著降低,表明它对氮的需要逐渐减少.人工饲料的含氮量约比棉桃高70%,但棉叶/桃组幼虫对氮的同化效率却比人工饲料组幼虫高10%左右.两组雌蛹—成虫的氮转化率在71—74%之间.雌蛾含有的氮约有37%(人工饲料组)—45%(棉叶/棉桃组〕用于繁衍后代.本试验提供的资料结合含糖量和含水分较多的寄主植物器官对幼虫有较好营养效应的假设可以比较合理地解释棉铃虫在田间的为害习性.  相似文献

马尾松毛虫(Dendrolimus Punctatus Walder)幼虫蛋白质含量,羧酸酮酶和多酚氧化酶活力与虫龄大小成正相关;氰戊菊酯处理后,兴奋期的蛋白质含量和羧酸酯酶活力上升,到抑制期均降低到正常虫体的水平,而多酚氧化酶的变动不大。正常虫体中脱氧核糖核酸酶(Dnase)和核糖核酸酶(Rnase)的活力存在差异:Dnase从3-5龄幼虫随虫体增大而上升,到6龄时明显降低;Rnase与虫龄大小成负相关;氰戊菊酯处理后,Dnase便开始下降并低于正常虫体的水平,而Rnase在兴奋期上升,到抑制期下降亦低于正常虫体水平。结果说明,除多酚氧化酶外,蛋白质、核酸酶和羧酸酯酶均与耐药性存在一定的相关性,研制酶的抑制剂具有实用意义。根据毒力测定结果,马尾松毛虫幼虫随虫龄增大而耐药力增加,氰戊菊酯对5龄幼虫是3龄的2.8倍,6龄是4龄的2.3倍。因此,掌握在4龄前进行药物防治是合理的。  相似文献

研究了饲料中不同浓度的Ni2+(140mg/kg)对连续3个世代斜纹夜蛾Spodoptera litura Fabricius6龄末幼虫、蛹和成虫血淋巴中能量物质总糖、蛋白质和脂肪含量及血淋巴中热量值的影响。结果表明,Ni2+胁迫1个世代,6龄末幼虫、蛹和成虫血淋巴中的总糖含量均低于对照,而血淋巴中的蛋白质含量则在低浓度Ni2+胁迫下增高,在高浓度Ni2+胁迫下降低;只有受120mg/kg Ni2+胁迫的6龄末幼虫血淋巴的脂肪含量高于对照,而蛹和成虫血淋巴中的脂肪含量及热量值均低于对照。在Ni2+胁迫的第2、3代,6龄末幼虫、蛹和成虫血淋巴中的总糖、蛋白含量和热量值与饲料中Ni2+浓度的反应关系均表现为低浓度Ni2+胁迫增加而高浓度Ni2+胁迫降低的趋势;然而,血淋巴中的脂肪含量随饲料中Ni2+浓度的增加而降低。因此,重金属Ni2+对S.litura能量物质的影响与虫体内能量物质的种类和虫体的发育阶段有一定的关联。  相似文献

本文对粘虫Mythimna separata(Walker)不同幼虫密度下(1头/瓶、15头/瓶、30头/瓶)5龄至预蛹和6龄至预蛹的幼虫食物取食量、粪便排泄量、近似消化率、体重增长和粗生长效率等进行了研究。结果表明:幼虫的食物取食量、粪便排泄量随幼虫密度的增加而加大,表明群居或幼虫密度的增加可使幼虫的取食量增加从而使为害加重。但是,幼虫的体重增长则随幼虫密度的增加而下降,这是因为近似消化率和粗生长效率也随幼虫密度的增加而下降的缘故。由此认为,食物利用率下降是高密度条件下粘虫个体较小的主要原因之一。但是,些效应均随幼虫密度影响的消失而消失。  相似文献

以武夷肉桂为研究对象,研究不同施氮量对乌龙茶幼龄茶树生长和生理的影响。结果表明,幼龄茶树对氮肥的需求不强烈,其新梢生物量、根生物量和总生物量以及茶叶产量随施氮量的增加而下降。茶树新梢全氮、叶绿素、游离氨基酸、茶多酚和咖啡碱的含量随施氮量的增加而增加,而茶树碳氮比随着施氮量增加而下降;但施氮并没有影响茶树总碳含量。老叶叶绿素含量、根全氮和硝态氮含量、新梢总糖含量与施氮量呈二次曲线回归关系,适度施氮促进根对氮的吸收、老叶叶绿素合成和新梢总糖代谢,过度施氮则相反。新梢生物量与其硝态氮含量和游离氨基酸总量显著负相关;根生物量与根碳氮比和新梢咖啡碱含量显著负相关;茎叶生物量和总生物量与根含氮量显著正相关,但与新梢硝态氮和氨基酸含量显著负相关。过度施氮造成茶树生产力下降的主要原因是因为过度施氮极显著提高了茶树氨基酸代谢水平,使用于茶树生长的碳代谢产物(如总糖)减少,进而影响茶树的生长。  相似文献

用人工饲料研究了食物中不同含糖量对棉铃虫Heliothis armigera(Hfibner)生长、发育和繁殖的影响.基础饲料含粗蛋白质9.7%.饲料含糖12.5%对棉铃虫有最佳的营养效应.糖对蛋白质的比率在1.0—2.0对棉铃虫种群生长比较适宜.含糖量低于10%导致蛹的脂肪含量下降、成虫寿命缩短、产卵量显著减少.饲料含糖量超过28%使幼虫取食速率降低、代谢负担加重、发育历期延长、成虫繁殖力下降.因此,棉铃虫正常发育和繁殖所需的饲料碳水化合物含量应高于其蛋白质含量.这些结果与棉铃虫的食性特点是一致的.  相似文献

为明确食物中重金属胁迫对昆虫血淋巴能量物质和生长的影响,本研究测定了饲料中不同浓度的Ni2+ (1~40 mg/kg)对连续3个世代斜纹夜蛾Spodoptera litura Fabricius 5龄始龄(0 h)至6龄末幼虫(分别记为0,24,48,72,96和120 h幼虫)血淋巴中能量物质总糖、蛋白质和脂肪含量,血淋巴中热量值及5龄和6龄幼虫体重的影响。结果表明:第1和2代48 h和96 h幼虫血淋巴的总糖含量均低于对照;而连续3代其他处理幼虫血淋巴中的总糖含量均在低浓度Ni2+(1~5 mg/kg)胁迫下增高,在高浓度Ni2+ (20~40 mg/kg)胁迫下降低。连续3个世代的Ni2+胁迫均显著降低了0~48 h幼虫血淋巴中的蛋白含量;低浓度Ni2+(1~5 mg/kg)胁迫增加了连续3代72~120 h幼虫血淋巴中的蛋白含量,而高浓度Ni2+(20~40 mg/kg)胁迫只降低了第1代72~120 h幼虫以及第2代72 h幼虫血淋巴中的蛋白含量。第1代0 h,48~72 h和120 h幼虫血淋巴中的脂肪含量在1~20 mg/kg Ni2+胁迫下均高于对照,但24 h和96 h幼虫血淋巴中的脂肪含量均低于对照中的含量。连续3代0~48 h幼虫血淋巴中的热量值均随饲料中Ni2+浓度的增加而降低;低浓度Ni2+胁迫(1~5 mg/kg)增加,而高浓度Ni2+(20~40 mg/kg)的胁迫降低第2和3代72 ~120 h幼虫血淋巴中热量值。同时,低浓度Ni2+胁迫增加而高浓度Ni2+胁迫降低了第3代5龄和6龄幼虫的体重。因此推测,Ni2+胁迫对S. litura幼虫血淋巴的能源物质含量以及热量值的影响与能量物质的种类、虫体的发育阶段和Ni2+的胁迫世代等都有一定的联系。  相似文献

Beet armyworm (Spodoptera exigua (Hübner)) (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) is the most economically important sugar beet (Beta vulgaris) pest worldwide. In this study, a comparison was made between two different diets: one was based on Merkx diet (Holidic diet) and the other was based on sugar beet leaf (Oligidic diet). Results showed that the whole development time from larvae to adult between two diets (Merkx and leaf) was not significantly different. For example, developmental time from first instar larvae to adult in Merkx diet was 11.33?days, whilst developmental time of larvae to adult when larvae fed with sugar beet leaf was 10.33?days. However, analysis of variance showed that in some cases like development time of the first instar, third instar and fifth instar larvae and pupae was significantly different between two treatments (p?<?0.05). Larval weight showed differences when larvae fed on Merkx diet and sugar beet leaves. For example, significant differences were shown between first, third and fourth instar larvae weight when larvae fed on Merkx diet and sugar beet leaves (p?<?0.05). However, significant differences were not observed between weight of second and fifth instar as well as pupae weight when larvae fed on Merkx diet and sugar beet leaves (p?>?0.05).  相似文献

Abstract:  The effects of diet on development of Podisus nigrispinus (Dallas) (Het., Pentatomidae) were studied at 25°C, relative humidity of 60 ± 10%, and photoperiod of 14 h light : 10 h dark. Development times of P. nigrispinus nymphs were similar when fed with third or fifth instar larvae of cotton leafworm ( Alabama argillacea Hübner) (Lep., Noctuidae) or Tenebrio molitor L. (Col., Tenebrionidae). When fed with housefly larvae ( Musca domestica L.) (Dipt., Muscidae) or artificial diet, the predator had a longer development time. Independent of diet, instar or sex, the females of P. nigrispinus showed a longer longevity than the males. The total survival of the nymphal stage, on the different diets, varied from 22.46 (fed with housefly) to 77.33% (fed with T. molitor larvae). P. nigrispinus males were heavier when fed with third or fifth instar cotton leafworm larvae than when fed with artificial diet. The weight of the females varied from 37.91 (with artificial diet) to 64.68 mg (with fifth instar cotton leafworm larvae). Independently of the diet, newly emerged females of P. nigrispinus were heavier than the males. Females of P. nigrispinus which were fed with fifth instar cotton leafworm larvae had heavier ovaries than those fed other diets.  相似文献

Third instar tobacco hornworms (Manduca sexta L.: Sphingidae) on low dietary potassium had a lower relative growth rate than individuals on diets with potassium concentrations reflecting those in host-plants, due to decreased consumption rate, lower efficiencies of conversion of ingested and digested food (ECI and ECD), and a prolonged growth/feeding phase. Furthermore, these larvae, when placed on a diet with a moderate potassium concentration through the fourth stadium, ended up being smaller due to lower ECI and less biomass gained, and had a prolonged growth phase, which suggest an irreversible cost of the previous low potassium diet. Third instar hornworms on high potassium diets had lower ECI and ECD, and they had a prolonged growth phase. These individuals, when placed on a moderate potassium diet in the fourth stadium, gained less biomass, than those previously offered hostplant-like-potassium diets. Body potassium concentrations (% dw) at the end of the third stadium were similar among treatment groups. With increasing potassium concentrations in the diet, utilization efficiencies of potassium decreased and potassium concentrations in the frass increased. Correspondingly, water content (% fw) of the newly-molted fourth instar larvae declined with increasing potassium, indicating a passive loss of water during potassium excretion. Low and high dietary potassium reduced survivorship of third instar larvae; fourth instar caterpillars previously fed the low potassium diet also had poor survivorship. We conclude that, within the normal range of potassium concentrations in the hostplants, caterpillar performance is largely unaffected by potassium concentration, but that potassium-poor and potassium-rich diets, such as those hornworms may sometimes experience, can reduce growth and survivorship.  相似文献

Effect of sublethal concentration of B. thuringiensis on the first, third, fourth and fifth instar larvae of the American bollworm, H. armigera was investigated to study their response to food consumption, digestion, utilization, and their development till adult formation. The young larvae surviving B. thuringiensis treatment in their first instar and third instar delayed larval period by two to three days, but did not consume more food as compared to control. However, they showed higher digestibility of food as compared to control, which was compensated by their reduced ability to utilize the digested food for body substance. Contrary to the effect on first and third instar larvae, the fifth instar larvae surviving B. thuringiensis treatment in its fourth instar consumed less food, showed less absorption efficiency in digesting food, but compensated by increase in the utilization of ingested and digested food into body substance. Insects surviving B. thuringiensis HD-1 sublethal toxicity adapted to normal larval growth when fed on untreated food, depending upon insect growth prior to treatment. The moths emerging from B.thuringiensis treated larvae had sex ratio favouring females, and adult pairs laid less fertile eggs than those from the untreated ones. The response of B. thuringiensis treated larvae to their food and developmental needs is discussed.  相似文献

Laboratory studies were conducted to determine the effect of different artificial diets made of powdered seed materials of chickpea ( Cicer arietinum ), soybean ( Glycine max ), and maize ( Zea mays ) on the growth, consumption, and feeding preferences of Helicoverpa armigera larvae. Food consumption and growth of ultimate instar gram pod borer larvae were minimal on maize diet. The nutritive value of the soybean diet was higher, but the consumption rate of larvae was highest on chickpea diet compared with the other test diets. The growth of larvae was statistically equal on chickpea and soybean diets, in spite of differences in the consumption rate of these diets and their nutritive value. There appears to be a direct correlation between the quantity of the diets consumed and their nutritive value for growth of the larvae on chickpea and soybean diets. The lower nutritive value of chickpea diet is correlated with its higher intake by the larvae. Similarly, the lower consumption rate of larvae on soybean diet is correlated with its higher nutritive value. The diet on which the larvae were fed during earlier instars did not induce any feeding preference for that particular diet in the ultimate larval instar. The larvae consumed similar quantities of each of the three diets in their ultimate instar, irrespective of having fed on any of these diets during any preceding instars. However, induction in the quantitative consumption of food by the larvae was evident. The higher or lower consumption rate of diet by the larvae in the ultimate instar was influenced by their food during earlier instars. Hence the food consumption rate of larvae in the last instar appears to be set while feeding on a diet in the preceding instars.  相似文献

The fourth and fifth instar larvae of the silkworm were reared on artificial diets containing ponasterone A, ecdysterone, and inokosterone. The growth of the larvae and their silk glands, fibroin-synthesizing activity, and silk formation have been investigated. With a diet containing ponasterone A, the fourth instar larvae grew slowly and only a few larvae could ecdyse, while the growth of the fifth instar larvae was disturbed and they died with a darkening of the skin. Ponasterone A also inhibited the growth of the silk glands during the fifth instar. In contrast, the other two phytoecdysones did not greatly influence larval growth. The fourth instar larvae grew rapidly and their ecdysis was advanced with a diet which contained 10 μg of inokosterone/1 g of dry diet. The diet which contained 5 μg of ecdysterone or 10 μg of inokosterone/1 g of dry diet accelerated maturation, while that containing 10 or 20 μg of ecdysterone, or 40 μg of inokosterone, delayed maturation of the fifth instar larvae.Only phytoecdysones caused a decrease in growth of the silk glands in the early half of the instar, and a large amount of phytoecdysones accelerated their growth during the last part of the fifth instar. The fibroin-synthesizing activity was levelled up by feeding ecdysterone and inokosterone, and inokosterone appreciably stimulated activity. Assay of in vitro fibroin synthesis showed that ponasterone A competed with ecdysterone in a stimulative action. Silk formation was much lower in larvae fed the diet containing 5 μg of ecdysterone or 10 μg of inokosterone/1 g of dry diet and was far greater in larvae fed the diet containing 40 μg of inokosterone than in the controls.  相似文献

The effects of macronutrient balance on nutrient intake and utilization were examined in Manduca sexta larvae parasitized by Cotesia congregata. Insects fed an artificial diet having constant total macronutrient, but with varied ratios of protein and carbohydrate, with altered diet consumption in response to excesses and deficiencies of the individual macronutrients. Bivariate plots of protein and carbohydrate consumption for non-parasitized larvae demonstrated a curvilinear relationship between points of nutrient intake for the various diets, and the larvae grew best on carbohydrate-biased diets. The relationship was linear for parasitized larvae with the growth uniform across diets. On protein-biased diets, the larvae regulated the nitrogen content, containing similar amounts of nitrogen regardless of consumption. Efficiency of nitrogen conversion in non-parasitized larvae was greatest on carbohydrate-biased diets, while nitrogen conversion by parasitized larvae was greatest with intermediate nutrient ratios. Accounting for carbohydrate consumption, the lipid content decreased as dietary carbohydrate increased, but parasitized larvae contained significantly less lipid. The total biomass of parasites developing in individual host larvae was positively correlated with host protein consumption, but the individual parasites were similar in size. Parasitism influences host nutrient consumption in a manner that achieves uniform host growth under diverse nutritional regimes, thereby constraining blood nutrient concentrations within limits suitable for parasite growth and development.  相似文献

菜粉蝶幼虫在一、二、三、四龄初期饲以大菜粉蝶颗粒体病毒(PbGV),食量减少99.3—38.4%;四龄末或五龄初饲毒,食量反而比健虫高出36.3%和87.2%。幼虫感病后取食期的缩短或延长是食量变化的主要原因。幼虫病死前脱皮过程先被抑制,其结果往往使得死亡时所处的龄期明显延长。幼虫在四龄末饲毒后,由于五龄期延长,食量增加,其死亡前达到的最高体重平均为357.9毫克,远高于健虫化蛹前的最高体重。PbGV对菜粉蝶化蛹也有明显影响。幼虫在五龄前饲毒,一般不能化蛹。五龄第1—3天饲毒,化蛹率26.4—87.9%,第4天饲毒对化蛹无影响。本文结果对应用PbGv防治菜粉蝶幼虫危害以及对该病毒的大量增殖均具指导意义。  相似文献
