Consumption of 1% sucrose solution supplemented with 0.2% vanillin was studied in two experimental contexts in male mice living under chronic social stress induced by daily experience of defeats in agonistic interactions and leading to development of depression. In the first experiment, vanillin sucrose solution was made available as an option along with water during 10 days for mice living in group home cages. Then the mice were subjected to repeated social defeat stress and during exposure to stress they were provided with both vanillin sucrose solution and water using a free two-bottle choice paradigm. In the other experiment, vanillin sucrose solution was first offered to mice after 8 days of exposure to social defeat stress. Males familiar with vanillin sucrose solution showed vanillin sucrose preference while experiencing defeat stress: consumption of vanillin sucrose solution was about 70% of total liquid consumption. However, the consumption of vanillin sucrose solution per gram of body weight in mice exposed to social stress during 20 days was significantly lower than in control males. In the second experiment, males after 8 days of social defeat stress were found to consume significantly less vanillin sucrose solution as compared to control males. On average, during two weeks of measurements, vanillin sucrose solution intake was less than 20% of total liquid consumption in males. Consumption per gram of body weight also appeared to be significantly lower than in control group. The influence of experimental context on the development of anhedonia measured as a reduction of sucrose solution intake by chronically stressed male mice is discussed.  相似文献

Sucrose consumption by male and female rats during active avoidance acquisition was measured in two rat strains: KLA (Koltushi low avoidance) and KHA (Koltushi high avoidance) selected for divergent performance in a shuttlebox. Under resting condition, there were no interstrain difference in sucrose consumption by males, but KHA females consumed significantly less sucrose than KLA females. Active avoidance acquisition during five consecutive days decreased sucrose consumption in KLA males and did not change sucrose consumption in KHA males. Within a week after exposure to the stress, the sucrose consumption by KLA males returned to its normal values, and KHA males consumed significantly more sucrose. The active avoidance conditioning did not affect sucrose consumption in females of both strains. Substitution of 32% solution for 4% produced on the first day a sharp decrease in sucrose consumption in males of both strains, while females sharply increased consumption of the diluted solution over the next four days of observation. During this time, males returned to consumption of the same volume of the solution despite its decreased concentration. The findings suggest that the exposure to the escapable stress induces the negative affect only in KLA males.  相似文献

Possible development of anhedonia in male mice under chronic stress produced by social confrontations was investigated. Cheese, instead of traditional sucrose solution, was used as a positive reinforcement. It has been shown that the controls, the winners with repeated experience of aggression accompanied by victories and the losers with repeated experience of social defeats, irrespective of their social status, preferred to eat cheese, but not pellets, under the free choice conditions--80% of total food. After three days of cheese deprivation, the least food motivation and the least level of cheese consumption were observed in the losers as compared with the controls and winners. Influence of social stress as well as negative psychoemotional state produced by social defeats, on development of anhedonia as a symptom of major depression, is discussed.  相似文献

C57BL/6J (B6) mice consume more sugar and fat solutions than do 129 mice in 24-h preference tests. Previous studies have attributed this observation to strain differences in taste responsiveness to these nutrients. We tested the hypothesis that differences in postingestive responsiveness contribute to the strain differences. In experiment 1, B6 and 129 mice were trained to associate consumption of a flavored solution (CS+) with intragastric (IG) infusions of 16% sucrose and a different flavored solution (CS-) with IG water infusions (22 h/day). They were then retrained with new flavors paired with IG infusions of 5.6% soybean oil and water. Although both strains developed preferences for the nutrient-paired CS+ solutions, the B6 mice displayed significantly stronger preferences. The B6 mice consumed more CS+ during training, which may have contributed to their enhanced preference. In a second experiment, training intakes were equated by giving B6 and 129 mice "isosweet" CS solutions prepared with different amounts of sucrose and saccharin. The B6 and 129 mice consumed more of the sugar- or fat-paired CS+ than the water-paired CS- during training. The two strains also displayed equally strong preferences for the CS+ over CS- in choice tests, indicating that they had similar postingestive responsiveness to the sucrose and soybean oil. We propose that B6 mice consume more sugar and fat than 129 mice because their stronger orosensory response stimulates greater intake, which leads to greater stimulation of postingestive nutrient detectors and further enhancement of consumption.  相似文献

Environmental enrichment (EE) reduces drug and sucrose cue-reactivity in rats. In a previous study we reported that 1 month of EE (large cage, toys, and social cohorts) significantly reduced sucrose cue-reactivity. In the present study, we examined whether overnight (22 h) EE would be as effective. We also examined whether social enrichment (SE), enrichment alone (SoloEE), or exposure to an alternative environment (AEnv) might account for the EE effect. Rats self-administered 10% sucrose (.2 mL/delivery) in 10 daily 2-h sessions. Sucrose delivery was accompanied by a tone+light cue. Rats were then exposed to enrichment or alternative environment conditions overnight (acute) or for 29 days (chronic). Sucrose cue-reactivity was measured after this period of forced abstinence in a session identical to training, but no sucrose was delivered with the cue. All acute conditions markedly reduced sucrose cue-reactivity after 1 day of forced abstinence compared to single-housed rats in standard vivarium housing (CON). Sucrose consumption was also significantly reduced in all groups but SoloEE in a next-day test. All acute conditions but SE significantly reduced sucrose cue-reactivity when administered just prior to Day 30 of forced abstinence; all reduced sucrose consumption in a next-day test. All chronic conditions except for SE and AEnv significantly reduced sucrose cue-reactivity on the Day 30 test and sucrose consumption in a next day test. For both acute and chronic comparisons, EE manipulations were the most effective at reducing sucrose cue-reactivity and consumption. SoloEE and EE were equally effective at reducing sucrose cue-reactivity and similarly effective at reducing sucrose consumption. This indicates that social interaction is not a necessary condition for reducing sucrose-motivated behaviors. These results may be useful in the development of anti-relapse strategies for drug and food addictions.  相似文献

ALS and ALR mice were developed as mouse models of alloxan-induced diabetes. These strains do not show spontaneous onset of diabetes. When an obesity gene (Ay) was introduced to these two strains, severe diabetic conditions occurred spontaneously in the produced ALS-Ay and ALR-Ay strains. These strains were examined body weight gain, food consumption, water consumption, urinary sugar content, ketone body level and blood sugar level, and subjected to glucose tolerance test. As a result, in comparison with ALS mice, male ALS-Ay mice showed no obesity and very low tolerance to the glucose tolerance test performed 24 weeks after birth. The level of insulin secretion was 5.0 microU/ml or less, showing hardly any secretory reaction. On the other hand, female ALS-Ay mice were obese and showed no marked decrease in glucose tolerance. The level of insulin secretion was high, and the secretory reaction was strong. In ALR-Ay strain, both male and female mice were obese and showed diabetic conditions similar to those of ALS-Ay mice, though the severity tended to be lower. The characteristic features of diabetic conditions in these mice suggest that these strains, particularly ALS-Ay, may serve as useful new-type models of diabetes.  相似文献

In general, rodents prefer both sucrose and L-serine relative to water and treat both compounds as possessing a similar taste quality (e.g. 'sweetness') despite that they are believed to bind with different T1R heterodimeric receptors in taste bud cells. We assessed the affective potency of these compounds along with glycine, which is thought to bind with both T1R receptor complexes, using a brief-access taste test in a gustometer. Unconditioned licking responses of two 'taster' strains (C57BL/6J and SWR/J), which display high preference for low concentrations of sucrose, and two 'non-taster' (129P3/J and DBA/2J) strains, which display blunted preference for low concentrations of sucrose, were measured during 5 s trials of varying concentrations of a single compound when mice (n=10/strain/stimulus) were non-deprived and when access to home-cage water was restricted. In non-deprived mice, sucrose generated monotonically increasing concentration-response curves regardless of strain, whereas glycine was only marginally effective at stimulating licking and L-serine produced relatively flat functions. The profile of responsiveness across strains was more complex than expected. For example, when tested with sucrose in the non-deprived condition, the 129P3/J non-taster strain surpassed the responsiveness of taster mice at mid-range to high concentrations. Under water-restricted conditions, these mice also were significantly more responsive to high concentrations of both sucrose and glycine compared with the other strains when stimulus licking was standardized relative to water. Thus, the affective potency of the stimuli tested here seems to be related to the ability of the compounds to bind with the T1R2+3 receptor complex. However, the profile of strain responsiveness to these tastants in the brief-access test does not appear to be simply explained by the sweetener 'taster' status of the strain.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to examine how the pools of non-structural carbohydrates in soybean nodules are affected under water stress conditions depending on the nature of the symbiont strains with particular emphasis on the plant-borne carbohydrates sucrose and pinitol, and on trehalose, a compatible solute synthesized by the bacteroids. Soybean ( Glycine max [L.] Merr. cv. Maple Arrow) plants were inoculated with the nitrogen-fixing strains Bradyrhizobium japonicum 61-A-101 or USDA 110 spc4 and cultivated axenically under conditions in which nodules formed in an upper soil compartment while roots for water supply grew into a compartment filled with nutrient solution. When the nodules were well established (1 month post inoculation), 10% (w/v) PEG 6000 was added to the nutrient solution. This led to a slowly progressing, moderate water stress, as determined by measuring the decrease of transpiration, and to a decrease in nitrogen fixation. The pool sizes of the major non-structural nodule carbohydrates changed during progression of water stress. Sucrose, the major soluble carbohydrate in nodules of unstressed plants (2 and 4%, respectively of nodule dry weight depending on symbiont strain), strongly increased in nodules of stressed plants, reaching nearly 10% of dry weight. The activities of two major sucrose-consuming enzymes, sucrose synthase and alkaline invertase, decreased markedly in nodules of stressed plants. Starch decreased only transiently upon water stress. Pinitol, a cyclitol serving as compatible solute in many plants, increased more than 4 times, reaching about 1% of nodule dry weight during the stress. Trehalose, the major soluble carbohydrate synthesized by the bacteroids, increased in nodules colonized by USDA 110 spc4 from about 0.2 to 0.8% of nodule dry weight, while in nodules colonized by 61-A-101 it amounted to more than 1.5% of dry weight both with and without stress.  相似文献

Elevated central concentrations of the vasopressor octapeptide angiotensin (Ang) II increase the water intake in mammals. Recently, we showed that central AngII is also crucial in alcohol-consuming behavior. Since the heptapeptide AngIII, an AngII metabolite, is discussed to mediate AngII-related effects, we investigated water and alcohol consumption in mice, genetically deficient in aminopeptidase A (APA), a peptidase responsible for AngII conversion to AngIII. Sixteen male APA-deficient mice and their age matched wild-type controls were monitored on their water intake under basal conditions and total fluid and alcohol intake before and after social stress in a two-bottle free-choice paradigm. Alterations were connected to the regulation in activity of Ang-related peptidases (APA, ACE; ACE2) in brain regions involved in alcohol intake and peripheral organs. In comparison to their wild-type controls, APA-deficient mice drank significantly more water but not more alcohol at all investigated time points. A reduction in water intake, as observed in wild-type animals after social stress, did not occur in knockout mice. However, the reduction in alcohol consumption after social stress was significantly reduced in both strains. Alcohol consumption upregulated all three peptidases in the kidney, but not in lung. Notable, renal ACE2 activity was significantly higher in APA-deficient mice under basal condition. While the inhibition of AngII metabolism to AngIII does not influence the alcohol intake, water consumption in mice deficient for APA was significantly elevated. These differences induced by an altered AngII/AngIII ratio oppose the hypothesis that central AngII and AngIII act in a congruent pattern.  相似文献

Objective: Dietary zinc repletion can ameliorate sucrose‐induced obesity. A positive correlation between zinc and leptin has been recently noted, and both are known as important mediators in appetite control. In this study, we examined whether the reported amelioration of sucrose‐induced obesity by zinc repletion was consequent on the changes in circulating leptin levels. Research Methods and Procedures: Mice with obesity that was induced by giving a 32% sucrose solution in addition to a semipurified diet were divided into two groups based on whether they had 20 mg/liter zinc supplementation in their drinking water. Results: As expected, the mice with sucrose‐induced obesity had hyperglycemia, hyperinsulinemia, hypertriglyceridemia, hyperleptinemia, and hypozincemia when compared with the mice given the diet alone. Body weight gain, body fat content, and food and sucrose intake tended to decrease but not with statistical significance in sucrose‐fed obese mice with zinc supplementation. Nevertheless, some serum variables (glucose, insulin, triglycerides, and zinc) in sucrose‐fed obese mice with zinc treatment were approximate to those values of the mice given the diet alone. Moreover, sucrose‐fed obese mice with zinc supplementation had the highest serum values of leptin. Discussion: This study indicates that the amelioration of sucrose‐induced obesity by zinc repletion may be partly attributable to the hyperleptinemia induced by the mineral.  相似文献

We investigated whether the Argentine ant, Linepithema humile (Mayr), trail pheromone, Z9-16:Ald, could enhance recruitment to and consumption of liquid sucrose solutions. All tests were done as paired comparisons with a 10% sucrose solution as food. In the laboratory, mixing 20 microl of a 10-microg/ml solution of the pheromone with 50 microl of the 10% sucrose solution increased the number of ants feeding by >150%. In a field test, we combined the trail pheromone with a 10% sucrose solution in 50-ml vials. These vials were covered with a plastic membrane that has 1.5-mm-diameter holes punched uniformly across its surface. Ants could drink from the holes after the vials were inverted. For half of the vials, 1 microg of the pheromone was put onto the plastic membrane before the vials were filled with a 10% sucrose solution. The remaining vials had no pheromone on the plastic membrane. After 4 h we measured the consumption in each vial. Bait consumption with the pheromone was enhanced by 29%. In a 2nd series of tests, vials were left outside for 24 h. The consumption rate was 33% higher with the pheromone compared with the controls that didn't have pheromone.  相似文献

Thirty-seven soil isolates and mutants ofAzotobacter chroococcum tested for poly-3-hydroxybutyrate (PHB) production using Sudan black B staining method were found to be positive. One mutant showed a higher number of PHB-producing cells and maximum number of granules per cell. Using 2% glucose and 15 mmol/L ammonium acetate, PHB production was found to be maximum at 36 and 48 h of growth under submerged cultivation and under stationary cultivation, respectively. PHB production was found to be higher on sucrose and commercial sugar (as carbon sources) as compared to glucose and mannitol. As commercial sugar is cheaper than sucrose it was selected as carbon source for PHB production, that being found to be maximum at 1% concentration. Inorganic nitrogen sources seemed to have no stimulatory effect on the production of PHB. However, ammonium acetate (15 mmol/L) was found to be best for PHB production. Peptone (0.2 %) gave a better yield of PHB under both growth conditions. Using all optimized conditions, PHB production was studied in ten selected strains. Two of them were found to be best PHB producers under both growth conditions, one producing 621 and 740 μg/g dry mass under submerged cultivation and under stationary cultivation, respectively, while the second one produced 589 and 733 μg/g.  相似文献

Synthetic low and high fat diets for the study of atherosclerosis in the mouse   总被引:16,自引:0,他引:16  
Diets currently used to produce atherosclerotic lesions in mice are often undefined and cause accumulation of fat in the liver and gallstone formation. Therefore, synthetic low and high fat diets of known composition were formulated in this study. A synthetic diet containing 50% sucrose, 15% cocoa butter, 1% cholesterol, and 0.5% sodium cholate was found to produce a depression in high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) and an elevation of very low density lipoprotein (VLDL) and low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) in the atherosclerosis-susceptible strain, C57BL/6J. This diet was able to consistently produce aortic lesions and led to a decrease in liver damage and gallstone formation. The synthetic low fat diet did not produce HDL-C levels as high as those found in mice fed chow, but resulted in similar VLDL/LDL-C levels. Lipoprotein and apolipoprotein parameters were compared in C57BL/6J and the atherosclerosis-resistant strain, C3H/HeJ, consuming the synthetic low fat or high fat diets. As reported earlier, when consuming a high fat diet C57BL/6J mice have significantly lower HDL-C and apoA-I levels than C3H/HeJ mice. Further analysis shows that the molar ratio of plasma HDL-C to apoA-I is significantly lower in C57BL/6J mice, suggesting that HDL in the susceptible strain has a lower cholesterol-carrying capacity. This conclusion is consistent with the observation that the HDL particle size is smaller for C57BL/6J mice than for C3H/HeJ. Both strains increased their apoE levels when fed the synthetic high fat diet, but C3H/HeJ mice had higher levels of apoE on both diets. The major response to consumption of the high fat diet for both strains was an increase in apoB-48 from 5 micrograms/ml on a low fat diet to 54 and 109 micrograms/ml for C57BL/6J and C3H/HeJ, respectively. ApoB-100 showed minimal response to the high fat diet. The defined high fat diet can be used to study atherosclerosis in the mouse since it produces aortic lesions but reduces or eliminates other pathological changes such as gallstone formation and liver damage.  相似文献

We evaluated in mice their preference for different vegetable oils using the two-bottle choice test. Mice showed preference for all vegetable oils (at 1% concentration in emulsion) tested, including corn oil, canola oil, and mixed vegetable oil, compared to a control fluid without oil. Mice also significantly preferred highly palatable sucrose solutions (5-20%) in this test. One percent corn oil was selected to the same extent as were these sucrose solutions. Mixtures of 1% corn oil and several concentrations of sucrose were preferentially selected as compared to corn oil or sucrose alone. The concentration-response curves of oil-sucrose mixtures vs sucrose (0.5-20% concentrations) were similar to those of sucrose vs control solutions. These results suggest that 1% corn oil and sucrose at the concentrations tested did not affect each other's preference. Chronic intake of 20% sucrose solution, but not 100% corn oil, changed the preference for lower concentrations of each, and both induced remarkable increases in body weight of mice. In conclusion, we showed that mice preferred vegetable oils, and this preference compared favorably with highly palatable sucrose solutions and was not changed by chronic intake of corn oil.  相似文献

Laboratory mice drink little sucrose solution on initial exposure, but later develop a strong preference for sucrose over water that plateaus after a few days. Both the initial neophobia and later plateau of sucrose intake may involve central oxytocin (OT) signaling pathways. If so, then mice that lack the gene for OT [OT knockout (KO)] should exhibit enhanced initial and sustained sucrose intake compared with wild-type (WT) cohorts. To test this hypothesis, female OT KO and WT mice (11-13 mo old) were given a two-bottle choice between 10% sucrose and water available ad libitum for 4 days. On the first day, sucrose intake was 20-fold greater in OT KO mice compared with WT cohorts. The avid sucrose consumption by OT KO mice increased further on day 2 and was sustained at significantly higher levels than intake by WT mice. Enhanced initial and sustained sucrose intake also was observed in 5- to 7-mo-old male OT KO mice. The effect of genotype was observed over a range of sucrose concentrations and was maintained over at least 8 days of continual exposure. However, there was no effect of genotype on daily intake of sucrose-enriched powdered chow. These findings indicate that the genetic absence of OT in mice is associated with enhanced initial and sustained intake of sucrose solutions. Thus central OT pathways may normally participate in limiting initial intake of novel ingesta and may also participate in limiting intake of sweet, highly palatable familiar ingesta.  相似文献

Summary The effects of temperature and humidity on the water balance of two races ofPeromyscus polionotus were compared to individuals of the same race given moist sand to burrow in. Temperature had the greatest effect on fluid consumption. A change from 20 to 30°C resulted in a significant decrease in the amount of water and 0.4 M NaCl solution consumed. Generally, there was no difference in the amount of water or 0.4 M NaCl consumed at 20°C under different housing conditions, but at 30°C both races consumed significantly more fluids at the low humidity than when occupying a burrow. Considering all types of housing, temperature had a significant effect on a mouse's ability to maintain body weight when stressed with salt water. Irrespective of temperature, weight loss was less and survival greater while drinking salt water for mice in a burrow (92% survival) compared with the high (77% survival) and low (67% survival) humidity conditions.  相似文献

Survival of two Lactobacillus kefir strains after spray drying in reconstituted skim milk with or without the addition of 12.5 g monosodium glutamate/l, 20 g sucrose/l, or 20 g fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS)/l and during subsequent storage under different conditions of temperature (20 and 30°C) and relative humidity (RH) (0, 11 and 23%) was evaluated. After being dried, L. kefir 8321 and L. kefir 8348 had a decrease in viability of 0.29 and 0.70 log cfu/ml respectively, while the addition of different protectants improved the survival of both strains significantly. During storage, bacterial survival was significantly higher under lower conditions of RH (0–11%), and monosodium glutamate and FOS proved to be the best protectants.  相似文献

【目的】研究枯草芽孢杆菌核黄素合成途径、木糖代谢相关基因修饰对核黄素合成的影响。【方法】单独过表达或共同过表达核黄素操纵子中的基因、过表达木糖代谢相关基因构建相应的重组菌株。通过测定和比较重组菌株摇瓶发酵的核黄素产量和生物量,表征各个基因修饰的效应。采用摇瓶和5 L罐发酵,考察木糖作为主要碳源以及木糖与蔗糖共代谢对核黄素发酵的影响。【结果】ribA基因单独过表达,使核黄素产量提高99%,但生物量降低30%,出现细胞自溶现象。ribA-ribH基因共表达,使核黄素产量提高280%,并且无细胞自溶和生物量下降现象。1.5%蔗糖与6.5%木糖作为碳源,5 L发酵罐发酵70 h,核黄素产量达到3.6 g/L,与8%蔗糖为碳源的发酵相比,核黄素产量提高80%。木糖代谢相关基因过表达,均明显降低核黄素产量。【结论】与ribA基因单独过表达相比,ribA-ribH基因共表达可有效避免细胞自溶现象,并能进一步提高核黄素产量。蔗糖与木糖共代谢,能够改善前体物供给,有利于提高核黄素产量。  相似文献

Tumour necrosis factor (TNF)-alpha is known to be involved in anxiety and the regulation of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis. To examine the role of its receptors in neuroendocrine immunomodulation, we studied behaviour, corticosterone production and T-cell activation in mice with a C57BL/6J background and deficient for one or both TNF receptors (TNFR1-/-, TNFR2-/-, and TNFR1+2-/-) compared to wildtype C57BL/6J mice with and without psychological stress. Stress was induced by social disruption (SDR), and anxiety-like behaviour was examined using the elevated plus maze (EPM). Anxiety of unstressed TNFR1+2-/- mice was increased compared to C57BL/6J mice as shown by reduced ratios of entries into open arms relatively to total entries. SDR-stressed TNFR1+2-/- mice showed reduced ratios of entries into open arms relatively to total entries, reduced ratios of distances walked in open relatively to distances walked in both arms and reduced time in open arms compared to C57BL/6J mice. Locomotor activity of unstressed and SDR-stressed TNFR1-/- and TNFR2-/- mice was reduced. Serum corticosterone concentrations of control mice do not differ between mouse strains. However, TNFR1+2-/- mice had significantly higher corticosterone concentrations than C57BL/6J mice after SDR. EPM testing significantly increased corticosterone concentrations in all strains. Mitogen-induced activation-marker expression was reduced in TNFR1-/- T-helper cells under control and stress conditions, while activation marker expression of TNFR2-/- and TNFR1+2-/- cells was only slightly affected by stress compared to C57BL/6J T cells. Our study suggests that both TNF receptors contribute to anxiety-like behaviour and corticosterone responses, whereas TNFR1 has a larger impact on T-cell activation.  相似文献

SYNOPSIS. Inhibitors, acid production, and substrate utilization by 4 strains of Tritrichmonas foetus (BP-3, BP-4, A-1, and A-2) were studied manometrically. All used glucose, galactose, mannose, fructose, sucrose, maltose, trehalose, glycogen, starch, lactate, and pyruvate. Strain A-1, with the highest aerobic and anaerobic endogenous rates, used these substrates less than did the others. Strain BP-3 did not use lactose; strains BP-4 and A-2 did not use raffinose aerobically and only slightly anaerobically; strain A-1 used both nearly as well as maltose and sucrose. All were strongly inhibited by iodoacetate and, if tested in the presence of glucose, aerobically or anaerobically, by fluoride, arsenite, hydroxylamine, and 8-hydroxyquinoline. Aerobically, 2,4-dinitrophenol produced stimulation which was greater in the presence of glucose; anaerobically, it produced inhibition which was, in some cases, comparable to the effects produced by the other inhibitors. Fluoride, arsenite, azide, and hydroxylamine, although producing insignificant inhibitory effects on endogenous O2 consumption, reduced and, in some cases, abolished motility of all strains. All 4 strains produced acid under anaerobic and aerobic conditions; strain A-1 produced more than the others. Lactic acid accounted for 30–51% of the acid produced in all strains.
Strain A-1 more closely resembled the nasal trichomonad of swine (strain PN-610) than did strain BP-1. (Doran(3)). The writer believes that the swine nasal strain is a highly adapted strain of T. foetus.  相似文献
