Abstract Cytological characters of four species in Syncalathium (Asteraceae: Lactuceae), a small genus with six identified species endemic to alpine scree of the Sino‐Himalayan region, are surveyed in this report. Three species (Syncalathium pilosum, Syncalathium chrysocephalum, and Syncalathium disciforme) are examined for the first time. Combined with our previous counts, five species have been cytologically investigated from the genus and the results indicated that all species are diploid with the basic somatic chromosome number of x=8. The karyotype asymmetry of Syncalathium souliei is 2A, distinct from the other four species of 1A, and the remaining species are divided into two subgroups with different karyotypes, consistent with their morphological features. The significance of the cytological evolution of Syncalathium is briefly discussed.  相似文献

The Present paper is a preliminary result of study on three genera, Dubyaea, Syncalathium and Soroseris of the tribe Lactuceae (Compositae) in China. The genus Dubyaea in China so far known consists of 14 species, of which six are described here as new: D. pteroponda Shih, D. lanceolate Shih, D. muliensis Shih, D. panduriformis Shih, D. cymiformis Shih and D. jinyangensis Shih. In addition, one new combination, i.e.D. bhotanica (Hutch.) Shih, is made. There are six species in the genus Syncalathium in Chinese flora, of which one species is described here as new. This is S. orbiculariforme Shih. A new combination, S. pilosum (Hand.-Mazz.) Shih, is made in the paper. The genus Soroseris comprises nine species, of which three are described here as new, S. teres Shih, S. chrysocephala Shih and S. qinghaiensis Shih. Three new combinations, i.e.S. trichocarpa (Franch.) Shih, S. hirsuta (Anth.) Shih, and S.erysimoides (Hand.-Mazz.) Shih are made in the present paper.  相似文献

Karyological studies were carried out on ten populations comprising six species of Soroseris in the tribe Lactuceae (Asteraceae), all endemic to the alpine Sino-Himalayan region and poorly known cytogenetically. The single species of Stebbinsia (one population) and two species of Syncalathium (three populations) were also examined for the first time. The basic chromosome number for the three genera is x  = 8. Stebbinsia and most species of Soroseris are diploids with 2 n  = 2 x  = 16 = 14m + 2sm and have a karyotype asymmetry type 1A. Three species of Soroseris are tetraploid (2 n  = 4 x  = 32 = 28m + 4sm). A karyotype of 2 n  = 2 x  = 16 = 14m(2SAT) + 2sm with type 1A asymmetry was found in Syncalathium kawaguchii , and of 2 n  = 2 x  = 16 = 6m + 10sm with type 2A asymmetry for two populations of Syncalathium souliei . The relationships between Soroseris and the other two genera are discussed. Currently, four species of the lacertid lizard genus Adolfus are known from Central and East Africa. We sequenced up to 2,825 bp of two mitochondrial (16S and cyt b) and two nuclear (c-mos and RAG1) genes from 41 samples of Adolfus (representing every species), two species each of Gastropholis and Holaspis, and in separate analyses combined this data with GenBank sequences of all other Eremiadini genera and four Lacertini outgroups. Data from DNA sequences were analyzed with maximum parsimony (PAUP), maximum-likelihood (RAxML) and Bayesian inference (MrBayes) criteria. Results demonstrated that Adolfus is not monophyletic: A. africanus (type species), A. alleni and A. jacksoni are sister taxa, whereas A. vauereselli and a new species from the Itombwe Plateau of Democratic Republic of the Congo are in a separate lineage. Holaspis and Gastropholis were recovered in separate clades. Based on this molecular data, relatively substantial sequence divergence and multiple morphological differences, we describe a new genus of lacertid for the lineage including A. vauereselli and the new Itombwe species. The recognition of this new, endemic genus underscores the conservation importance of the Albertine Rift, especially the Itombwe Plateau, a unique region that is severely threatened by unchecked deforestation, mining and poaching.  相似文献

用电泳比较分析了鼠科动物6个种的组织LDH同工酶的A、B、C亚基和SOD同工酶位点的种属差异。结果表明,LDH的A和B亚基在进化上的可变性程度不同。在被分析的2个属共6种鼠中,首次发现B亚基的结构具有属的特征,同属的鼠种B亚基泳动度相同,在垂直凝胶电泳板上处于同一泳动线上。不同属的鼠其B亚基泳动度不同,家鼠属的鼠B亚基比姬鼠属的泳动快;A亚基的结构既有属的特性,更具有种的特征,同属不同种的鼠A亚基泳动速度不同,表现为LDH同工酶带的间距不同。LDH的C亚基结构因鼠种不同而异,由C亚基组成的LDH-X带黄毛鼠位于自身的LDH-3和LDH-4之间,社鼠和褐家鼠此带位于自身的LDH-4和LDH-5之间,白腹巨鼠此带位于自身的LDH-5以外的阴极端,与黑线姬鼠此带的位置特征相同。SOD同工酶带只表现种的差异,其3条带泳动速度的改变具有协同而变的共同特点。被分析的鼠种经配对法比较生化特征的相同程度,初步表明黄毛鼠亲缘上与褐家鼠比较近,白腹巨鼠亲缘上又比其余3种鼠更近于姬鼠属。  相似文献

Studies on the genus Acervus from China are reviewed briefly. Six of the seven known species of the genus are currently recorded in this country. Acervus beijingense and A. changchunense are described as new based on morphological features and molecular data, and A. flavidus with minor emendation is added to the Chinese fungus flora. Phylogenetic relationships among four of the seven species of the genus are investigated based on the 28S rDNA sequence analysis. Species of the genus formed a single clade with high bootstrap support. The sequences of A. epispartius forma epispartius and that of A. flavidus obtained from materials in different geographical regions together formed a group with 100% bootstrap support. Ascospore size and shape are important criteria in the taxonomy of the genus and are phylogenetically informative. A dichotomous key to all described species of the genus is provided.  相似文献

Four new species of soft corals are described from the shallow sublittoral of southern Africa. Three of the species are referable to the genus Alcyonium Linnaeus, 1758 (family Alcyoniidae), although two of these possess growth forms that are atypical for most members of the genus. A revised diagnosis of the genus is therefore included. A new species in the family Nephtheidae is also described, this being referable to the genus Capnella Gray, 1869. All four species are from the region between the Cape of Good Hope Peninsula and the eastern Cape Province of South Africa. This is the region of the Agulhas Bank, an austroafrican biogeographic region that shows a high incidence of endemism with respect to the marine invertebrate fauna.  相似文献

1. A classification is made on seven species of the genus Dysosma, of which four are proposed as new combinations, and one as new species. 2. The pollens of six species in the genus Dysosma and two species of Podophyllum are examined. Morphologically, the Asiatic. P. emodi is radically distinct from the North American P. peltatum and can be separated from Podophyllum as an independent genus-Sinopodophyllum. 3. The trend of evolution in Dysosma (fig. 2)and its relationships with the genera Sinopodophyllum and podophyllum are discussed. 4. Based on the evidence from an analysis of the ecology and geographical distribution of the component species (fig. 3), the problem of the centre of development of the genus Dysosma has been discussed.  相似文献

本文记述我国舞蛛属Alopecosa1新种:林站舞蛛A.1inzhan sp.nov.,及3新纪录种:方隔舞蛛A.akkolka Marusik,1994、客居舞蛛A.inquilina(Clerck,1757)和独行舞蛛A.solivaga(Kulczynski,1901)。新种近似于A.sokhondoensis Logunov et Marusik,1994,但新种外雌器中隔扩展部端部向前方延伸较明显,超出中隔柄部,交配管较细长,而后者外雌器中隔扩展部向前方延伸不明显,未超出中隔柄部,交配管较短;另外2者在前眼列各眼相对大小和间距方面也有差别。  相似文献

The genus Phloeoditica Schedl currently includes four species from Southeast Asia. These species vary substantially in important morphological characters and indicate the existence of multiple genera for these species. A revision based on morphological and in part molecular data resulted in the transfer of Phloeoditica setosa to Pseudoxylechinus the erection of a new genus Asiophilus for Phloeoditica phloeosinoides and a new species Asiophilus macropunctatus from Vietnam. Another new genus with affinities to Phloeoditica is described based on the new species Microditica uniseriata from Thailand. The new genera are included in a revised key to the tribe Phloeosinini.  相似文献

毛罗甲螨属Vepracarus在中国已经记录有3种:库毛罗甲螨V.cruzae Corpuz-Raros,密毛罗甲螨V.hirsutus Aoki,点毛罗甲螨V.punctatus Hu et Wang。本文记述采自江西井冈山1新种:井冈山毛罗甲螨V.jinggangshanensis sp.nov.。记述了3个已知种分布及采集纪录;详细描述了新种的形态特征并绘制了整体特征图,比较了新种与其近似种点毛罗甲螨V.punctatus Hu et Wang的区别特征,提供了该属中国已知种检索表。研究标本保存于贵州大学昆虫研究所。井冈山毛罗甲螨,新种V.jinggangshanensis sp.nov.(图1~2)浅褐色,体表具有不规则刻点,筒形,体长437μm,体宽236μm。新种与点毛罗甲螨V.punctatus Hu et Wang相似,其主要区别特征如下:后背板从c系列毛后开始着生增生毛;感器后外毛较吻毛、梁毛、梁间毛及感器前外毛长;吻毛、梁毛、梁间毛及感器前外毛等长;基节板毛式为8-7-3-4。正模,江西井冈山,2008-08-22,谢丽霞采。副模2头,采集信息同正模。词源:新种以采集地点井冈山命名。  相似文献

The genus Brevibacterium includes pleomorphic Gram-positive bacteria with a high mol% G+C content. Species in the genus are difficult to identify by classical methods. The discriminatory power of DNA-based methods is assessed. Strains representing the four well established Brevibacterium species, and other related bacteria, were compared by amplified ribosomal DNA restriction analysis (ARDRA), repetitive-sequence-based PCR (rep-PCR) and ribotyping. Fingerprinting by rep-PCR and ribotyping provided complex genomic profiles with the highest discriminatory potential for molecular typing at the strain level, whereas ARDRA showed differentiation from the genus to the species levels. A high degree of heterogeneity within the genus Brevibacterium is apparent, thus indicating that the taxonomy of the genus should be further studied.  相似文献

Six species of the genus Noumea are described including four new species. All species are yellow, and four have orange markings as well; one has a white mantle border and the last has red gills and rhinophores. Noumea flava has a widespread distribution in the Indo-West Pacific and two other species are known from the tropical Pacific. The other three species, including a yellow colour form of Noumea haliclona (Burn, 1957), are reported from southern Australia. Aspects of the reproductive system of some species of Noumea strongly indicate that the genus Verconia Pruvot-Fol, 1931 is closely related to that genus.  相似文献

综述了碧蛾蜡蝉属Geisha Kirkaldy的分类研究历史,研究了中国碧蛾蜡蝉属种类,同意莎碧蛾蜡蝉G.sauteri Jacobi是碧蛾蜡蝉G.distinctissima(Walker)的异名。记述了中国碧蛾蜡蝉属4种,包括2新种——二叉碧蛾蜡蝉G.bifurcata,sp.nov.,秦岭碧蛾蜡蝉G.qinlingensis,sp.nov.。提供了分种检索表。模式标本保存在西北农林科技大学昆虫博物馆。  相似文献

The four related genera: Ainsworthia Boiss., Tordylium L., Synelcosciadium Boiss. and Mandenovia Alava are revised. Data are presented from detailed gross morphology, mericarp surface features and anatomy, and palynology.
The results show: (1) Ainsmorthia and Synelcosciadium are congeneric with the genus Tordylium, and that Mandenovia is a good monotypic genus; (2) Tordylium persicum is synonymous with 7. cappadocicum and 7. aegaeum with 7. pestalozzae; (3) the genus Tordylium is best divided into subgenus Tordylium (including Synelcosciadium) and subgenus Ainsworthia (Boiss.) Drude. The latter is divided into section Condylocarpus (Hoffm.) DC, section Hasselquistia (L.) Boiss. and section Univittata Drude.
A new species of Tordylium is described, and two new combinations made. A taxonomic treatment of the genus 'Tordylium', together with a key to the species, is given.  相似文献
