Four new triterpenoid saponins were isolated from the leaves and stem of branches of Dizygotheca kerchoveana along with seven known ones. The new saponins were respectively characterized as 3-O-[beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->3)]-[beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->2)]-alpha-L-arabinopyranosyl echinocystic acid, 3-O-[beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->3)]-[beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->2)]-alpha-L-arabinopyranosyl echinocystic acid 28-O-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->4)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->6)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl] ester, 3-O-[beta-D-3-O-trans-p-coumaroyl-glucopyranosyl-(1-->3)]-[beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->2)]-alpha-L-arabinopyranosyl echinocystic acid 28-O-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->4)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->6)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl] ester and 3-O-[beta-d-3-O-cis-p-coumaroyl-glucopyranosyl-(1-->3)]-[beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->2)]-alpha-L-arabinopyranosyl echinocystic acid 28-O-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->4)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->6)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl] ester. Their structures were elucidated by 1D and 2D NMR experiments, FAB-MS as well as chemical means.  相似文献

Two representative spirostanol saponins that have the typical structure for the sugar moiety, diosgenyl alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->2)-[beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->3)]-beta-D-glucopyranoside (gracillin) and diosgenyl alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->2)-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->4)]-beta-D-glucopyranoside (dioscin), were easily synthesized by a general approach. A procedure using guanidine for the selective deblocking of acetyl while retaining benzoyl protecting groups is described.  相似文献

Seven oleanane-type saponins were isolated from the leaves and stems of Oreopanax guatemalensis, together with ten known saponins of lupane and oleanane types. The new saponins were respectively characterized as 3-O-alpha-L-arabinopyranosyl echinocystic acid 28-O-[alpha- L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->4)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->6)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl] ester, 3-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl 3beta-hydroxy olean-11,13(18)-dien-28-oic acid 28-O-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->4)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->6)-beta- D-glucopyranosyl]ester, 3-O-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->2)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl]3beta-hydroxy olean-11,13(18)-dien-28-oic acid 28-O-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->4)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->6)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl] ester, 3-O-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->2)-alpha-L-arabinopyranosyl]3beta, 23 dihydroxy olean-18-en-28-oic acid 28-O-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->4)-beta-D-6-O-acetyl glucopyranosyl-(1-->6)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl]ester, 3-O-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->2)-alpha-L-arabinopyranosyl] hederagenin 28-O-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->4)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->6)-[beta-D-xylopyranosyl-(1-->2 )-]beta-D-glucopyranosyl]ester, 3-O-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->2)-alpha-L-arabinopyranosyl]hederagenin 28-O-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->4)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->6)-[beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->2)-]beta-D-glucopyranosyl] ester and 3-O-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->2)-alpha-L-arabinopyranosyl] hederagenin 28-O-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->4)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->6)-[alpha-L-arabinofuranosyl-(1-->2)]-beta-D-glucopyranosyl] ester. The structures were determined by spectral analyses. The NMR assignments were made by means of HOHAHA, 1H-1H COSY, HMQC, HMBC spectra and NOE difference studies.  相似文献

The methanol extract of the leaves of Buddleja asiatica Lour. (Loganiaceae) showed antioxidant activity toward the well known in vitro antioxidant tests such as total antioxidant capacity by the phosphomolybdenum method, free radical scavenging activity by the 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl scavenging assay (DPPH assay) and hydrogen peroxide scavenging methods. Due to the high scavenging activity of the n-butanol successive fraction toward DPPH and H2O2 (SC50 = 11.99 and 18.54 microg/ml, respectively), this extract was subjected to chromatographic separation and isolation. Four non-phenolic compounds were isolated and identified on the basis of spectroscopic and chemical analyses: 1-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-2-methoxy-3-(2-hydroxy-triaconta-3,12-dienoate)-glycerol (1), 3-O-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->4)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->3)]-[beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->2)]-beta-D-fucopyranosyl-olean-11,13(18)-diene-3 beta,23,28-triol (2), 3-O-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->4)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->4)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->3)]-beta-D-fucopyranosyl-olean-11,13(18)-diene-3,23,28-triol (3), and 3-O-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->4)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->3)]-[beta-D-xylopyranosyl-(1-->2)]-beta-D-glucuronopyranosyl-acid-olean-11,13(18)-diene-3 beta,23,28-triol (4). Six new triterpenoid saponins have been isolated from the stem bark of Elattostachys apetala together with four known triterpenoid saponins. Three of these new compounds are glycosides of a newly described genin, 29-hydroxyhederagenin (1). On the basis of spectral evidence, the structures of the new saponins were concluded to be alpha-hederin 28-O-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->2)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl] ester (2), sapindoside B 28-O-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->2)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl] ester (3), 3-O-beta-D-xylopyranosyl astrantiasaponin VII (4), 3-O-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->2)-alpha-L-arabinopyranosyl]-28-O-[beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->2)-[beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->6)]-beta-D-glucopyranosyl]-29-hydroxyhederagenin (5), 3-O-[alpha-L-arabinopyranosyl-(1-->3)-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->2)-alpha-L-arabinopyranosyl]-28-O-[beta-D-glucopyranosyl(1-->2)-[beta-D-glucopyranosyl(1-->6)]-beta-D-glucopyranosyl]-29-hydroxyhederagenin (6), and 3-O-[beta-D-xylopyranosyl-(1-->3)-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->2)-alpha-L-arabinopyranosyl]-28-O-[beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->2)-beta-D-gluco pyranosyl-(1-->6)]-beta-D-glucopyranosyl]-29-hydroxyhederagenin (7).  相似文献

Two new steroidal saponins were isolated from the rhizomes of Costus spiralis Rosc. Their structures were established as (3beta,25R)-26-(beta-D-glucopyranosyloxy)-22-hydroxyfurost-5-en-3-yl O-D-apio-beta-D-furanosyl-(1-->2)-O-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->4)]-beta-D-glucopyranoside (1) and (3beta,25R)-26-(beta-D-glucopyranosyloxy)-22-hydroxyfurost-5-en-3-yl O-D-apio-beta-D-furanosyl-(1-->4)-O-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->2)]-beta-D-glucopyranoside (2). Their structural identifications were performed using detailed analyses of 1H and 13C NMR spectra including 2D NMR spectroscopic techniques (DEPT, COSY, HETCOR and COLOC) and chemical conversions. Phytochemical analysis of the whole plant of Salvia moorcroftiana Wall. (Lamiaceae) resulted in the isolation of two new flavonoid glycosides, together with three known compounds. The structures of the new compounds were established as genkwanin 4'-O-alpha-L-arabinopyranosyl-(1-->6)-beta-D-galactopyranoside (1) and genkwanin 4'-O-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->2)-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->6)]-beta-D-galactopyranoside] (2). From the stem bark of Newbouldia laevis three phenylethanoid glycosides, designated as newbouldioside A-C, were isolated together with a sodium salt of analogue B and the known compounds, verbascoside, 5-hydroxydehydro-iso-alpha-lapachone, 3,8-dihydroxydehydro-iso-alpha-lapachone, apigenin and luteolin. (Leguminosae) yielded the two triterpenoid saponins with branched monosaccharide chain 3 beta,21 beta,22 beta,24-tetrahydroxyolean-12-en-3-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->3)-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->2)]-beta-D-galactopyranosyl-(1-->2)-beta-D-glucuronopyranoside (3) and 3 beta,21 beta,22 beta,24-tetrahydroxyolean-12-en-3-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->3)-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->2)]-beta-D-galactopyranosyl-(1-->2)-beta-D-glucuronopyranosyl-21-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranoside (4) along with the known compounds soyasaponin I (1) and 3 beta,21 beta,22 beta,24-tetrahydroxyolean-12-en-3-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->2)-beta-D-galactopyranosyl-(1-->2)-beta-D-glucuronopyranosyl-21-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranoside (2). The structures of the compounds were elucidated using hydrolysis, FAB-MS and extensive NMR experiments. Compounds 2-4 showed moderate antifungal activity against Candida albicans with MIC values of 25, 25 and 30 microg/ml, respectively. Only soyasaponin I was found weakly hemolytic (HC(50) >500 microg/ml).  相似文献

A new phenylethanoid tetraglycoside, physocalycoside (2), was isolated from the aerial parts of Phlomis physocalyx. Its structure was identified as 3-hydroxy-4-methoxy-beta-phenylethoxy-O-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->2)-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->3)]-4-O-feruloyl-[beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->6)]-beta-D-glucopyranoside, on the basis of spectroscopic evidence. In addition, one known iridoid glucoside, lamiide (1) and five known phenylethanoid glycosides, wiedemannioside C (3), verbascoside (= acteoside) (4), leucosceptoside A (5), martynoside (6), and forsythoside B (7) were also characterized. Compounds 2-7 demonstrated radical scavenging properties towards the 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical.  相似文献

A new nuatigenin-type steroidal saponin, multifidoside (2), was isolated from the aerial parts of Veronica fuhsii and V multifida and its structure was identified as 3-O-([alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->2glu)]-[beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->4rha)-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl (1-->4glu)]-beta-D-glucopyranosyl]nuatigenin 26-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside. The possibility of acyl migrations in ester saponins from Maesa lanceolata was investigated by molecular mechanics and electronic structure calculations carried out on the major constituent maesasaponin IV3 (3beta-O-[[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->2)-[beta-D-galactopyranosyl-(1-->3)]-[beta-D-galactopyranosyl-(1-->2)]-beta-D-gluco-pyranuronyl]-21beta-angeloyloxy-22alpha-propanoyloxy-13beta,28-oxido-olean-16alpha, 28alpha-diol). Natural steroidal glycosides containing alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->4)-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->2)]-beta-D-glucopyranose (chacotriose) at the oligosaccharide moiety exhibit anti-cancer and anti-herpes activities. To investigate the structure-activity relationships of the aglycone parts of chacotriosides, we developed a synthesis method for chacotriosyl glycosides having various aglycones. In the process, it was revealed that alpha-chacotriosyl glycosides could be obtained mainly by using a trichloroacetimidate donor, while beta-chacotriosyl glycosides were afforded by using phosphite and phosphate donors. In cytotoxicity tests using the A549 and HepG2 cell lines, naturally occurring beta-chacotriosyl diosgenin and cholestanol exhibited higher activities than the corresponding alpha-chacotriosyl glycosides.  相似文献
