In Aspergillus niger Van Tieghem cultivated on a synthetic medium, the induction of an endogenous rhythm of sporulation and its perpetuation depend on the glucose K+ balance in the medium, an excess of one of them suppressing the oscillations. In its inducing effect on the rhythm K+ is partially replaced by Rb+, but not by Na+, Li+ or Cs+. While the glucose K+ balance is favourable for the manifestation of the rhythm, the addition of increasing levels of Na+, Li+ or Cs+ do not modify the period length. Nevertheless, at 0.3 M of Na+ or Li+ and 0.03 M of Cs+ rhythm disappears. The amplitude of oscillations depends on the level of the micro-elements furnished, especially on Mn2+. EDTA (1 × 10?3M) inhibits the rhythm.  相似文献

Considering that body ornaments are, through the choice of the elements, good cultural markers, along with the transitional geographical position of Belgium in the Palaeolithic, an up-to-date study of the body ornaments has been undertaken to catch the diffusion and contact phenomenon next to the influences in the lithic industries between regions. Despite the fact that the observations made take cultural value once they are considered in a broader frame than the actual political boarders of the country, cultural and chronological tendencies in terms of “fashions” within the Belgian material have nevertheless confirmed their informational potential.  相似文献

The ammonite fauna of the outcropping Bathonian-Callovian of the Boulonnais (Northern France) is described in detail for the first time. In the middle and Late Bathonian, the fauna is very restricted, reduced to some Perisphinctidae (Procerites) and Clydoniceratidae (Clydoniceras, Delecticeras). The abundance and the biodiversity of assemblages increase during the Callovian. These faunas are typically Subboreal, marked by Gowericeratinae (Kepplerites, Sigaloceras), Kosmoceratinae (Kosmoceras) and Proplanulitinae (Proplanulites), associated with Boreal taxa such as Cadoceratinae (Cadoceras) and Cardioceratidae (Quenstedtoceras), and Submediterranean taxa, Pseudoperisphinctinae (Homoeoplanulites, Poculisphinctes), Peltoceratinae (Pseudopeltoceras) and Macrocephalitinae (Macrocephalites). Representing the only Jurassic onshore outcrops, between the English and Normandy coasts, and the Ardennes area, the interest of these faunas for correlations between the Western and Eastern European (Russian) platforms is emphasized. Palaeobiogeographically, particularly concerning the southward migration/dispersion of the Boreal taxa, the role played by the transgressions/regressions and the resulting paleobathymetric and palaeoclimatic implications is discussed.  相似文献

Data on mineral elements in spirulinas being limited, we analyzed macrominerals and trace elements of samples from France and Africa. Spirulinas cultivated in France have a composition in macromineral elements similar to those of the literature. The entire contents of trace elements are low. Unlike marine cyanobacteria, they do not concentrate rare-earth elements. Spirulina harvested in Chad has high levels in macrominerals and trace elements, due to traditional drying and harvesting methods. Rare-earth element levels are attributed to this pollution and not to their concentration in spirulinas, because rare-earth element normalized profiles of spirulina are strictly parallel to those of ouadis mud and very different from those of ouadis water. Despite the sometimes high content of total As, normal water consumption in Chad presents no health problems. Spirulinas grown in Togo, Niger, Mali, Burkina-Faso and Central African Republic have chemical compositions similar to those of Chad spirulinas, but with a lower content of macromineral and trace elements, reflecting a lower mineral pollution. Rare-earth element normalized patterns dismiss an aeolian pollution and the pollution is rather of pedological origin. They show no toxicity problem except spirulinas from Burkina-Faso, whose Pb content is too high. The variability of composition of spirulinas can be largely attributed to the mineral pollution of the samples. Significant levels of rare-earth elements sometimes found in the literature reflect this pollution.  相似文献

In this work, we make a compilation of all radiocarbonical data existing for the cardial Neolithic culture in the northwest of the Iberian Peninsula with the aim to delimit as much as possible the chronological range attributed for this period. For this reason calibration of all data is presented on the same curve, taking into account the critical process for all of them based on stratigraphical, taphonomical and radiometrical concepts. Finally, is shown that chronological range of cardial Neolithic culture could be focused on the 2nd half of the VI millennium cal. BC.  相似文献

Wex (1993) observes through the statuary of great historical cultures how body language appears to reflect the evolution of the respective status of man and woman. On the other hand, Serres (1997) reports that the feminine statues-menhirs of his so called groupe rouergat are represented with legs spread out, while masculine statues show broad as well as narrow postures. We examined this observation more systematically and further applied to it the properly ethological reading grid of Wex as a contribution to the history of gender relationships. A preliminary quantitative analysis aimed to determine which attributes give certainty about the sexual identity of the statues-menhirs. Special attention is given to the figures who underwent a gender change.  相似文献
