A population of Pseudotachea litturata (Pfeiffer, 1851) fromTarifa (Càdiz, Spain) has been studied. The morphologicalresults are compared with those from P. splendida, Iberus gualtierianus,I. alonensis, I. marmoralus, I. guiraoanus and four speciesof the genus Cepaea using, as an exploratory method, the Wagnerparsimony procedure and 18 characters of the shell, genitalsystem and karyotype have been analysed. According to this methodit seems that the taxonomical position of P. litturata in thegenus Pseudotachea is confirmed, and agrees with the phylogeneticalrelationships in this group of species. The genus Cepaea seemsto be well established, although two species groups can be distinguished:C. nemoralis—C. hortensis and C. syluatica—C. vindobonensis.These differ mainly in chromosome number, diverticulum lengthand degree of shell polymorphism. Although the present resultsdo not allow us to clarify the current taxonomical problemswithin the genus Iberus, the species studied seem to belongto a natural group (Received 15 September 1987; accepted 1 January 1988)  相似文献

本研究选择线粒体DNA (mtDNA) 细胞色素氧化酶Ⅰ基因(COⅠ)为分子标记基因,以双翅目实蝇科昆虫DNA序列为目标,建立了我国进境植物检疫害虫地中海实蝇Ceratitis capitata、芒果小条实蝇C. cosyra和纳塔尔小条实蝇C. rosa等生物芯片检测方法。地中海实蝇及其近缘种检测芯片由检测探针(实蝇科通用探针1条,小条实蝇属通用探针1条,地中海实蝇、芒果小条实蝇和纳塔尔小条实蝇近缘种探针2条和种特异探针4条)、质控探针(定位点探针、阳性质控、阴性质控和空白对照探针各1条)组成。芯片检测结果表明,检测探针特异性强,能实现上述3种实蝇的种类快速区分和准确鉴定; 检测方法稳定性好,地中海实蝇不同虫态(卵、幼虫、蛹和成虫)和不同地理种群检测结果完全一致。地中海实蝇生物芯片检测技术将为我国进口果蔬中检疫性实蝇快速筛查和种类鉴定提供检测方法,同时,还可应用到其他属的实蝇以及相关害虫的检疫中,为有害生物的快速鉴定提供了新方法。  相似文献

The experimental susceptibility of Portugala inchoata, Euomphalia(M.) brigantina, Ponentina ponentina, Hygromia (P.) cantabricacantabrica and Hygromia (P.) cantabrica covadongae to Neostrongyluslinearis larvae were studied for the first rime. The total numberof molluscs used in the infections was 207 and they were killedin series between day 6 and SO post-infection. Species determination in the gastropod genus Conus, heretoforeexclusively based on shell morphology and color pattern, hasled to considerable uncertainty and disagreement. We proposethat qualitative and quantitative radular tooth characters arepotentially useful in differentiating species as well as geographicsubspecies and will improve the taxonomic base. Molluscivorousspecies of Conus, sometimes placed in the subgenera Cylinder, Textilia,Darioconus, and the nominal subgenus, are taxonomically amongthe most difficult. We thus examined intra- and interspecificvariation in radular morphology of 11 of these species, C. ammiralis,C. araneosus, C. bandanus, C. canonicus, C. episcopatus, C. marmoreus,C. nodulosus, C. omaria, C. pennaceus, C. textile, and C. victoriae,and intra- and interregional variations in radular morphologyof C. pennaceus from three geographic regions. Taxonomicallyuseful qualitative characters include presence/absence of one ortwo barbs and a blade, and whether the row of denticles comprisingthe serration is continuous or interrupted. Useful metric charactersinclude the ratios of first barb, second barb, blade, serration,shaft width and base width to tooth length, the ratio of toothlength to shell length, the ratio of shaft width to base width,and the degree of curvature of the teeth. Univariate analysisof variance (ANOVA and unplanned pairwise comparison tests)distinguished 53 of the 55 possible species pairs from eachother by at least one character. Multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA)indicated statistically significant differences between thespecies in the other two pairs. In C. pennaceus, ANOVA and unplannedpairwise tests differentiated Hawaiian from Indian Ocean samples,and MANOVA differentiated those from Maldives and Sumatra. Thediscrete radular characters sort the 11 species into three groups,and these are consistent with the distribution patterns of thequantitative characters. Light-enhanced active pyruvate uptake into mesophyll chloroplastsof C4 plants was reported to be mimicked by either of the twotypes of cation jump: H+-jump in maize and phylogenically relatedspecies (H+-type) and Na+-jump in all the other C4 species tested(Na+-type) [Aoki, N., Ohnishi, J. and Kanai, R. (1992) PlantCell Physiol. 33: 805]. In this study, medium and stromal pH was monitored in the suspensionof C4 mesophyll chloroplasts. Medium alkalization lasting for5 to 10 seconds after pyruvate addition was detected by a pHelectrode and observed only in the light and only in mesophyllchloroplasts from H+-type species, Zea mays L. and Coix lacryma-jobiL., but not in those from Na+-type species Panicum miliaceumL., Setaria italica (L.) Beauv. and Panicum maximum Jacq. Theinitial rate of H+ consumption showed good correlation with[14C]pyruvate uptake measured by silicone oil filtering centrifugation,both being inhibited by N-ethylmaleimide and 7-chloro-4-nitrobenzo-2-oxa-l,3-diazole to the same degree. The ratio of the rate of H+ uptaketo that of pyruvate uptake was always about 1. Pyruvate-inducedacidification of the stroma was observed in maize mesophyllchloroplasts. These results show one to one cotransport of H+and pyruvate anion into mesophyll chloroplasts of H+-type C4species in the light. (Received January 5, 1994; Accepted May 6, 1994)  相似文献
