The anlage of the duodenal lymphatic bed takes place on the 3d month of the human intrauterine life. In the intestinal villi there are chyle sinuses, that fuse into presumptive lymphatic vessels, having capillary structure, when they get out of the villi. Intraorganic vessels turn into extraorganic ones, they flow into the pancreatoduodenal lymphatic vessels. In their lumens stromal anlage of the lymphatic nodes are formed as a result of invagination of the blood vessels. Development of the lymphatic bed in the duodenum preceded with formation of intestinal villi (this contributes to absorption of the intestinal content) and deformity of the superior mesenteric vein (this probably makes difficult the organ's drainage). The situation is solved owing to the lymphatic bed anlage. It is, evidently, formed by means of switching off a part of embryonal veins from the blood stream.  相似文献

In Trichostrongylus colubriformis-infected rabbits, epithelial cell migration rates and cell transit times along the villi were compared by radioautography on histological slides to normal values from noninfected small intestine. Regions of gut with high (upper jejunum) and low (ileum) burdens of worms were both examined. In the control rabbits, the estimated values for the cell migration rates in the proximal and distal parts of gut were respectively 5.8 and 2.8 microns/hr. Seventy-two hours after the thymidine injection, the labeled epithelial cells were near the tip of the villi in the jejunum whereas only 60% of the villous length was labeled in the ileum. In the infected rabbits, the presence of T. colubriformis was associated with a two-fold increase of the cell velocity, in the main site of infection. Although less prominent than in the proximal region, a significant acceleration in the cell migration was also noticed in the ileum. The cell transit time was markedly reduced in the parasitized jejunum, but no variation of this parameter was found in the distal part of gut. These changes in the dynamics of epithelial cells in both regions of the gut appeared to underlie the morphological and enzymological changes of the parasitized mucosa. They particularly contribute to create an adaptive region in the small intestine beyond the main site of infection.  相似文献

Whole-mount preparations of the porcine small intestine, consisting of the tela submucosa and the adjacent lamina muscularis mucosae, were used for scanning electron-microscopic investigation of the plexus submucosus externus (Schabadasch) after enzymatic digestion, fixation and HCI hydrolysis. The present results confirm previous light-microscopic data and provide irrefutable proof that within the submucosal plexus, considered by most authors as one ganglionated nerve plexus situated in the entirety of the tela submucosa, two distinct nerve meshworks can be distinguished, one lying close to the lamina muscularis mucosae, i.e., the plexus submucosus internus (Meissner), and the other, i.e., the plexus submucosus externus (Schabadasch), situated in the outer region of the tela submucosa against the circular smooth muscle layer. In addition to the distinct location of both plexuses, they are quite different with regard to the pattern and diameter of their nerve strands and the number and appearance of their ganglia.  相似文献

Previous investigators in our laboratory have demonstrated that peptide YY (PYY), a putative gut hormone, exerts a potent emetic effect when administered intravenously to conscious dogs. The current study was carried out to examine the effects of an emetic dose of PYY on cardiovascular status, splanchnic blood flow distribution (estimated using 15 micron microspheres) and small intestinal motility in anesthetized dogs. PYY, infused i.v. at a dose of 25 pmol/kg/min led to a localized significant reduction in small intestinal muscularis externa blood flow both 15 and 30 min after the start of PYY infusion in both jejunum and ileum. This decreased muscularis perfusion was not accompanied by any significant change in whole gut wall blood flow and was explained on the basis of an observed significant redistribution of blood flow away from the muscularis towards the mucosa/submucosa. Similar, although non-significant, effects of PYY on colonic blood flow distribution were also observed. Despite the effects on jejunum and ileum, PYY exerted minimal effects on duodenal blood flow. The decrease in ileal and jejunal muscularis blood flows was accompanied by a significant increase in the amplitude of intestinal contractions in these regions. Frequency of contractions was unaltered however. These results demonstrate that PYY infusion leads to concurrent changes in small intestinal blood flow and motility.  相似文献

The lymphatic tissue of ileum, sacculus rotundus and appendix was poorly developed with-out germinal centres in germfree rabbits; on the other hand, in conventional rabbits, the lymphatic tissue was abundant with numerous germinal centers. In germfree rabbits, the stroma of villi of the jejunum and ileum possessed low cellularity, in conventional rabbits, the villi were wide with rich cellularity. The basal position of lymphocytes was predominant in the villi of ileum of germfree rabbits, in conventional rabbits a high percentage of lymphocytes was in the apical position.  相似文献

The human tela choroidea of the lateral ventricle is vascularized by arteries arising from the two systems which form the arterial circle of the base, i.e. the internal carotid system and the vertebral basilar system. This blood supply is given by one anterior choroidal artery and by several posterior choroidal arteries. These arteries anastomose to form multiple indirect and remote links between the carotid and vertebral basilar systems. The capillary networks of the tela choroidea of the lateral ventricle consists of a velar network and of a choroidal network. This duality is constantly observed in the choroid formations of the human brain. The venous vascularization of the tela is tributary of the venous circle of the base of the brain through choroidal veins that drain either into the internal cerebral veins or into the basal veins.  相似文献

Brush border membranes (BBM) were isolated from the jejunum and ileum of control, ad libitum (CAL); control, food-restricted (CFR); control, weight gain (CWG); and ethanol-fed (EF) rabbits. Jejunal alkaline phosphatase activity was similar among control groups, but higher in CAL than EF animals. Sucrase activity was higher in EF and CWG animals than in CAL and CFR. The alkaline phosphatase/sucrase ratio was lower in EF than control animals. Ileal enzyme marker activity was similar among EF and control animals. Sucrase (S) activity was lower in the ileum than in the jejunum. Jejunal free fatty acid and phospholipid/cholesterol (PL/C) were lower in EF than control animals, whereas ileal lipid content was generally similar among all animal groups. Total phospholipid content was similar between sites, but the cholesterol and free fatty acid content were lower in the ileum than the jejunum. The phospholipid/cholesterol ratio was increased only in the ileum of EF animals. The amount of lecithin was decreased in the jejunal BBM of EF animals resulting in a decreased choline/amine phospholipid ratio as compared with control animals. The ileal phospholipid composition was similar among all groups. A large increase in villus height is observed in the jejunum of EF animals. Villus surface area and mucosal surface area are altered with ethanol feeding and food deprivation. Thus, (i) there is a gradient of S and cholesterol between the BBM of jejunum and ileum; (ii) changes in food intake are associated with changes in the morphology as well as the enzyme marker and lipid content of BBM.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)  相似文献

Development of the tracheobronchial and mesenteric lymph nodes has been studied in fetuses and offsprings of Wistar rats after an intramuscular administration to the female rats therapeutic doses of tetracycline hydrochloride during the first 6 days of pregnancy (preimplantation period of embryogenesis). General histological and morphometrical methods have been applied. Under the experimental conditions certain disorders in formation of functional structures of the lymph nodes have been revealed: differentiation of the parenchyma into the cortical and medullary substance formation of follicles and their germinative centers, development of sinuses, formation of argyrophile stroma architectonics are delayed. Some distrophic and destructive changes of the reticular cells are observed, argyrophilia of the reticular fibers is more evident. Lympho- and plasmocytosis are retarded on the background of an increased eosinophilic and mast cell reaction.  相似文献

The experimental investigation of the lymphatic bed of the small intestine after immunization was performed in 15 rabbits. Ten rabbits were taken as control. The rabbits were immunized by administration of kidney antigen with the complete Freund adjuvant. The animals were killed on the 7-8th days after two cycles of immunization, three injections in each cycle. The interval between the injections was three days, between the cycles - one month. Polychrome injection of arteries and veins was made. The lymphatic bed was filled with Gerota's mass. The chylus sinuses, lymph capillaries and vessels of experimental animals were found to be dilated 2-6 times as compared with normal. There appear many blind processes on the walls of lymph capillaries and vessels. Intraorganic lymphatic pathways were more dilated as compared with extraorganic. The ileum was found to be more reactive in immunization than other two parts of the small intestine.  相似文献

In the jejunum and ileum of all species investigated (man, dog, monkey, cat, rabbit, sheep, rat, mouse, hamster, chinese hamster, gerbil, pig and guinea pig) cells were present in the mucosa, which reacted specifically with antineurotensin serum using the indirect immunofluorescence and peroxidase-antiperoxidase methods. In the monkey Tupaia the distribution of neurotensin-immunoreactive cells was examined by investigating serial sections through the entire gastro-entero-pancreatic (GEP) endocrine system, again showing most neurotensin-immunoreactive cells in the jejunum and ileum. Ultrastructural changes of synovial capillary and venule wall have been investigated in rabbits with antigen-induced arthritis, with the permeability of microcirculatory bed determined using 99mTc pertechnetate. The correlation between the incidence of ultrastructural microvascular damages in exudative phase of arthritis and the increased permeability has been established. Ultrastructural changes occurring in proliferative phase of arthritis are considered as adaptive to conditions of increased permeability.  相似文献

The elastic, elaunin and oxytalan fibres in the tunica mucosa and tela submucosa of veins of the human lower oesophagus were studied in 30 necropsy and biopsy specimens using appropriate histological and ultrastructural methodologies. Elaunin fibres predominate in the veins endowed with muscle cells. Scattered oxytalan and elastic fibres were also observed, the latter being more numerous at the vein periphery. No noteworthy fibre arrangement was encountered in veins lacking muscle cells. Those fibres disposed around the veins were considered to belong to the connective tissue of the tunica mucosa and tela submucosa in which they are embedded. The veins of the lower oesophagus seem to be of low elasticity, which may be related to a blockage mechanism described for the gastro-oesophageal blood stream in cases of portal hypertension.  相似文献

Fluid transport was measured gravimetrically in vivo in the jejunum, ileum and colon of fed, fasting (four days) and undernourished (50 % of control food intake for 21 days) gerbils (Gerbillus cheesmani). The effects of luminal enterotoxin Escherichia coli STa (50 ng/ml) and luminal 8-bromo-cyclic GMP (cGMP 1 mM) on fluid transport across jejunum, ileum and colon were also assessed. Fasting and undernourishment reversed the normal basal fluid absorption measured in fed ileum and colon into secretion. Neither fasting nor undernourishment had any effect on jejunal basal fluid absorption. In jejuna, ilea and colons of fed animals as well as in jejuna from fasting and undernourished gerbils STa (50 ng) reversed the normal absorptive "tone" to secretion but it had no significant effects on fluid secretion in either the ileum or colon from fasted gerbils. STa increased significantly the fluid secretion in ileum from undernourished gerbils. Luminal cGMP had no effect on basal absorptive tone in the jejunum of fed and fasted gerbils, but reversed absorption into secretion in the jejuna from undernourished gerbils. In the ilea taken from fed animals the small basal absorption was reversed to secretion by luminal cGMP. Although cGMP produced no significant changes in fluid secretion in the ilea taken from fasted gerbils, yet it caused a significant increase in those from undernourished gerbils. In the colon taken from fed animals cGMP decreased the basal fluid absorption significantly, but it had no significant effect on fluid secretion in the colon of fasted or undernourished gerbils. We conclude that fasting and undernourishment have no significant effects on fluid transport across the gerbil jejunum but reversed basal absorption in the fed ileum and colon into secretion. cGMP mimic the effects of STa in the jejunum taken from undernourished gerbils, in the ileum obtained under the three nutritional states and in the colon taken from fasting animals.  相似文献

Like many other neuropeptides, vasopressin is not confined to the hypothalamic neurohypophysial system. Furthermore, vasopressin was found to be a potent vasoconstrictor in the rat jejunum, reducing myenteric artery flow. These associations were the basis of this investigation on the presence of vasopressin in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract by both RIA and immunohistochemistry. Portions of the gastrointestinal tract and pancreatic islets of the rat were extracted with 0.1 N HCl for RIA measurements of AVP content. Similar portions from the male cat GI tract were used for immunohistochemistry studies. Acid extracts of the GI tract were found to contain immunoreactive AVP with the highest concentration (pg/mg protein) in the fundus portion of the stomach (15.0 +/- 1.6) and slightly lower values down along the antrum-pylorus portion (6.7 +/- 0.6), proximal jejunum (8.6 +/- 0.2), distal ileum (9.7 +/- 0.3) and colon (11.9 +/- 0.5). In the pancreatic islets the concentration was much higher (72.0 pg/mg protein). The extract inhibition curves showed parallelism with the appropriate standard preparation of AVP in the specific RIA. Immunohistochemical localization showed IR-AVP in the nerve fibers around the myenteric plexus of the second portion of the duodenum. It was also found in fibers starting from where the myenteric plexus goes through the layer of muscle fibers, penetrating the submucosa and duodenal mucosa, ending near the capillaries situated along the basal side of the villous epithelium cells. The ganglia of the plexus myentericus (Auerbach) have their own self-acting vascularization in the form of periganglionic capillary networks. As to the architecture and density, they are quite different from the intramuscular capillary bed. Just as the arterial trunk and arcade vessels, the terminal arterioles and sphincter capillaries running into the periganglionic cappillary network are innervated by noradrenergic axons. Together with periganglionic arteriovenous short circuits, this means favorable prerequisites for a functionally adapted blood supply of the ganglia. The specific arrangement of intramuscular vessels and the plexus Auerbach effects the maintenance of the close topographic and functional relations between both systems in all cases of changes of the shape of the intestinal wall.  相似文献

Anatomy of lymphangions (valve segments) has been studied in 120 human and animal cadavers. Methods of investigation were: polychrome injection of arteries, veins and lymphatic bed; macro-microscopic preparation; staining of histopreparations after van Gieson, hematoxylin-eosin, complex technique after A.V. Borisov (1973); impregnation after V.V. Kuprianov (1965); detection of bundle collagene fibers after Mallory and elastic fibers after Weighert. The data collected on the lymphangions demonstrate that the valve segments (lymphangions) in the small intestinal wall appear in phylogenesis at first in birds. Avian lymphangions are cylindric and the valves are of semilunar form and the distance between them is 2--3 cm. In predators (dog, cat, fox, marten) lymphangions are round or conical. Their size is within 6--8 mm. In other animals (rodents, Artiodactyla, Perissodactyla) the lymphangions are 3--5 times longer comparing their width. In human ontogenesis the valve segments of the lymph vessels are formed in tela submucosa of the small intestine in 6--7-month-old fetuses. Some other peculiarities in animal and human anatomy of lymphangions have been revealed.  相似文献

A functional relationship exists between the size of erythrocyte and size of capillary passage at metamorphosis. The shift in red cell a/b (major/minor axis) ratio in relation to the changes in cross-sectional capillary area is signficant. These changes have been worked out in thyroxine induced Rana cyanophlyctis tadpoles in comparison with untreated controls. The physiological aspects of phylogenetic origin in relation to ontogenesis of lymphatic sinuses are summed up. A further correlation between the narrowing of capillaries and the sprouting and spreading of lymph sinuses is postulated.  相似文献

In 261 girls year-to-year morphofunctional transformations of spatial composition of the skin microcirculatory bed have been studied at rest and after a dynamic local load. By means of biomicroscopy main regularities in development of the skin capillary network have been revealed in the nail torus in the postnatal ontogenesis. Formation of the microvessels reactivity during various age periods and maturation of mechanisms of the compensatory-adaptive reactions are connected with formation of the definitive composition of the microcirculatory bed, that in girls corresponds to 11-12 years. Qualitative transformations in the skin capillary network bring certain quantitative changes in the structural microcirculatory parameters--increasing diameter of microvessels and increasing density of functioning capillaries.  相似文献
