Studies on albino rats showed that high doses of tetracycline-induced damages of the liver evident from increased activity of serum enzymes (alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase and alkaline phosphatase) and inhibition of bile secretion, synthesis and secretion of bile acids and cholesterol excretion. Administration of vitamin E, sodium selenite, infusion of Astragalus L. and especially vitamin E combinations with sodium selenite markedly or completely arrested the occurrence of hepatotoxic properties of tetracycline. It is suggested that the use of vitamin E combinations with selenium-containing preparations is advisable in the prophylaxis and treatment of tetracycline-induced damages of the liver.  相似文献

A coffee extract significantly suppressed lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced hepatitis in D-galactosamine-sensitized rats, as assessed by the plasma alanine and aspartate aminotransferase activities, when it was added to the diet (30 g/kg) and fed to rats for 14 days. Its effect was as strong as that of a green tea extract. The coffee extract suppressed LPS-induced hepatitis when singly force-fed (1.2 g/kg) 1.5 h prior to the injection of the drugs, whereas a decaffeinated coffee extract had no significant effect. The hepatoprotective effect of caffeine was stronger than that of theobromine. These results indicate that coffee can protect animals from LPS-induced hepatitis, and that the effect of coffee might be mainly due to caffeine.  相似文献

用不同品种无性系茶树良种制成普洱生茶和普洱熟茶,进行PTP1B、TCPTP、SHP-1、SHP-2、HePTP、YopH的靶标对比试验,结果表明经自然渥堆发酵的普洱熟茶对六个靶标的的抑制效果明显好于普洱生茶,说明普洱茶的发酵工艺是形成其特有保健功效的关键所在;另外,普洱熟茶对靶标的抑制效果还与其原料有关,在研究的3个大叶种茶中,对六个的靶标的平均半数抑制浓度(IC50)为云抗10号<云抗14号<大黑茶。  相似文献

Green tea (Camellia sinensis), and CoQ(9 )when given to Wistar rats produced a partial reversal on reserpine induced oxidative stress and liver damage. Green tea, with its abundant polyphenol (-)Epigallocatechin 3-gallate (ECGC) and other catechins, is known for its antioxidative characteristics influencing lipid metabolism. Ubiquinone, abundant in heart muscle, is also a potent antioxidant with known effects in numerous pathologies. However the combined effect of ECGC and ubiquninone has not been reported. In the present study we found that green tea extract, when given in combination with CoQ(9) to Wistar rats subjected to oxidative stress, showed a statistically significant antioxidative effect. Liver cholesterol level in rats receiving combination treatment was also significantly lower than control or rats receiving green tea extract alone. Reserpine induced liver damage in Wistar rats was also partially reversed by a treatment of green tea extract when combined with CoQ(9). These results may have important clinical implications and may be extrapolated for the treatment of patients suffering from liver damage due to hepatitis B/C or liver cirrhosis.  相似文献

The present study was undertaken to investigate whether the consumption of green tea and black tea influences the excretion of mutagens and promutagens in rats treated orally with the food carcinogen 2-amino-3-methylimidazo[4,5-f]quinoline (IQ). Rats were maintained on aqueous extracts (2.5%, w/v) of green tea, black tea or decaffeinated black tea as their sole drinking liquid. After 4 weeks, the animals received, by gastric intubation, a single dose of IQ (5 mg/kg), and urine was collected for 48 h. Direct and indirect mutagenicity, in the presence of an activation system derived from Aroclor 1254-treated rats, was determined in the urine samples using the Ames mutagenicity assay. Consumption of green tea and black tea, but not of decaffeinated black tea, markedly decreased the urinary excretion of mutagens and promutagens. In a further study, supplementation of decaffeinated black tea with caffeine suppressed the excretion of mutagens and promutagens in the urine of rats pretreated with IQ. It is concluded that both green tea and black tea modulate the bioactivation and metabolism of IQ, and that caffeine is largely responsible for this effect.  相似文献

以小区随机样方的田间调查方式,研究了茶园不同景观斑块环境对茶园节肢动物群落的影响.结果表明: 小乔木斑块茶园(QM)与台湾相思树斑块茶园(XS)中蜘蛛类占节肢动物的比例最高,分别达到62.3% 和 69.5%,显著高于稻田斑块茶园(DT)和人居生活区斑块茶园(RJ)(P<0.05).QM的节肢动物多样性和丰富度指数最高,均匀度指数、优势度指数与其他斑块茶园间差异不显著(P>0.05).QM与XS的天敌资源较丰富,多样性指数、均匀度指数和丰富度指数的大小顺序为QM>XS>DT>RJ.表明景观斑块结构对茶园节肢动物群落结构和多样性有较大影响.  相似文献

Fatty tetracycline-induced steatosis is shown to reduce levels of mitochondrial and microsomal cytochromes. A decrease of microsomal cytochromes in the liver of hypoxia-resistant animals was similar to that of hypoxia-sensitive ones. The interaction between ultraviolet light and tetracycline in producing cell killing and mutation has been studied in V79 Chinese hamster cells. It has been established that these agents act independently of each other. Cycloheximide altered the response to tetracycline in the fractionation experiment: when cycloheximide was not present, fractionation of TC treatment resulted in a higher mutation yield but no change in survival level; in the presence of cycloheximide, however, mutation was greatly reduced but survival increased. The results were taken to indicate that for tetracycline action to take place, de novo protein synthesis during tetracycline treatment was necessary. Caffeine had no influence on tetracycline-induced lethality or mutagenicity. This observation was considered to suggest that tetracycline did not affect cellular repair processes.  相似文献

The aim of this work was to investigate the protective effects of green tea polyphenols on the cytotoxic effects of hypolipidemic agent fenofibrate (FF), a peroxisome proliferator (PP), in human HepG2 cells. The results showed that high concentrations of FF induced human HepG2 cell death through a mechanism involving an increase of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and intracellular reduced glutathione (GSH) depletion. These effects were partially prevented by antioxidant green tea polyphenols. The elevated expression of PP-activated receptors alpha (PPARalpha) in HepG2 cells induced by FF was also decreased by treatment with green tea polyphenols. In conclusion, this result demonstrates that oxidative stress and PPARalpha are involved in FF cytotoxicity and green tea polyphenols have a protective effect against FF-induced cellular injury. It may be beneficial for the hyperlipidemic patients who were administered the hypolipidemic drug fenofibrate to drink tea or use green tea polyphenols synchronously during their treatment.  相似文献

Influence of spleen deficiency rat model to observe the Fusen herbal tea.MethodsRats were gavaged 15% rhubarb powder suspension (5 mL) of 17 days, twice a day. It caused by the spleen deficiency rats model, rats model are respectively at the same time drinking large doses of Fusen herbal tea, a small dose of Fusen herbal tea, a high dose of Wang Laoji herbal tea, a small dose of Wang Laoji herbal tea. When modeling will replace the corresponding tea rat normal blank group were given normal drinking water instead of daily water, and Baohewan group given a pill solution. In the 17 days, Rats were killed and observe the changes of rats.ResultsRat model were successded in spleen deficiency. The pathological changes of the organs in the model group, the pathological changes of the organs in the model group, but every dose of Fusen herbal tea has no obvious effect on rats.ConclusionFusen herbal tea has no obvious effect on rats.  相似文献

茶叶中富含单宁化合物。从分离自黑茶的真菌菌株中,筛选高产单宁酶的菌株;进而分离纯化单宁酶,分析单宁酶对茶汤的转溶效果。从不同产地的3个黑茶样品中,共分离获得44个真菌分离物;经初步鉴定,这些真菌分离物以曲霉属(Aspergillus)、青霉属(Penicillium)和散囊菌属(Eurotium)的真菌居多。以单宁酸为底物的鉴别培养基初筛表明,其中26个真菌分离物在鉴别平板上产生透明圈,显示单宁水解酶活性;通过固体发酵复筛,筛选到1株产单宁酶活性较高的菌株,初步鉴定为青霉属(Penicillium)菌株,命名为青霉MP-24菌株。青霉MP-24可以以茶叶、茶梗和麸皮等农副产品作为原料固体发酵产生单宁酶。以麸皮为原料的发酵产物经过硫酸铵分级沉淀、DEAE阴离子交换层析和葡聚糖G-150凝胶层析等分离纯化步骤,得到分子量为70 kDa的单一蛋白质条带,单宁酶活力达到603.68 U/mg。纯化获得的单宁酶对茶汤有良好的转溶效果。研究结果表明,在黑茶相关微生物中含有丰富的产单宁酶菌株,是工业酶制剂的重要资源。  相似文献

通过茶树品种、叶片龄期及叶片化学成份对茶树内生真菌分布影响的研究,发现:(1)在供试的4个茶树品种中,黄旦的内生真菌分离频率达100%,而福云六号只有7.5%,表明茶树品种不同或遗传背景不同,其叶片中内生真菌的发生存在明显差异。(2)随着茶树叶片的成熟,叶片中内生真菌的种类与数量逐渐增多,与叶片龄期呈正相关,叶片龄期影响茶树内生真菌的种群结构。(3)不同龄期叶片水浸提液对Colletotrichum、Pestalotiopsis、Guignardia三种茶树上的主要内生真菌的生长产生不同的影响;在PDA培养基中添加15%的茶多酚,对此3种内生真菌均有一定的抑制作用,但抑制程度有所不同,表明茶树叶片的化学成份是影响内生真菌分布的重要因素之一。  相似文献

The literature data on medusomyces published since 1913 are discussed. Different versions of appearance and distribution of this microorganism are considered. The features of its structure, metabolism and growth conditions are analyzed. It is shown that the tea fungus is a symbiosis is of several sorts of yeast and acetic acid bacteria. Evidence is presented indicating that fermented tea fungus has a therapeutic effect and can be applied in medicine. It was proved, that the antimicrobial properties of tea fungus metabolic products are due to the presence of particular antibiotic substances. The regularities of the biosynthesis of these substances and the pathways of its stimulation were studied. The results obtained will lead to the large-scale use of tea fungus in biotechnology. The fungus has unique adaptation properties, as confirmed by experiments on cultivation of the organism on deuterium oxide (D2O) and in the conditions of "cold stress". It is suggested that medusomyces is a unique model for the investigation of the phenomenon of symbiosis.  相似文献

Colorectal cancer is one of the leading causes of tumour‐related deaths. In the present study, the chemopreventive effect of green tea on 1,2‐dimethylhydrazine (DMH)‐induced colon carcinogenesis was studied in male Wistar rats. The DMH group received subcutaneous injections of DMH (30 mg kg?1 body weight) once a week for 30 weeks, the normal group received the vehicle of DMH, and the DMH + green tea group received DMH simultaneously with 1% green tea as their sole source of drinking fluid throughout the experimental period. In the DMH group treated with green tea, significant reductions in gene overexpressions of colonic nuclear factor κB (NF‐κB), tumour necrosis factor α, inducible nitric oxide synthase and cyclooxygenase 2, and NF‐κB immunostaining indicates the anti‐inflammatory effect of green tea in attenuating colon cancer. Moreover, the anti‐angiogenic and anti‐invasiveness effects of green tea were revealed as reductions of both vascular endothelial growth factor and matrix metalloproteinase‐7 mRNA expression levels. These effects were confirmed by the significant reduction of serum tumour necrosis factor α, C‐reactive protein levels, inhibition of tumour incidence, and nearly normal survival rate and colonic architecture. It can be concluded that green tea exerts a potent chemopreventive effect on colon carcinogenesis possibly due to the inhibition of NF‐κB. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The aim of the present study was to investigate body fat-suppressive effects of green tea in rats fed on a high-fat diet and to determine whether the effect is associated with beta-adrenoceptor activation of thermogenesis in brown adipose tissue. Feeding a high-fat diet containing water extract of green tea at the concentration of 20g/kg diet prevented the increase in body fat gain caused by high-fat diet without affecting energy intake. Energy expenditure was increased by green tea extract which was associated with an increase in protein content of interscapular brown adipose tissue. The simultaneous administration of the beta-adrenoceptor antagonist propranolol(500 mg/kg diet) inhibited the body fat-suppressive effect of green tea extract. Propranolol also prevented the increase in protein content of interscapular brown adipose tissue caused by green tea extract. Digestibility was slightly reduced by green tea extract and this effect was not affected by propranolol. Therefore it appeared that green tea exerts potent body fat-suppressive effects in rats fed on a high-fat diet and the effect was resulted in part from reduction in digestibility and to much greater extent from increase in brown adipose tissue thermogenesis through beta-adrenoceptor activation.  相似文献

Tea plants (Camellia sinensis) contain 5-6% caffeine that is responsible for the stimulating effect of the beverage. As the tolerance to caffeine varies among individuals, low caffeine tea would be an ideal alternative. While assessing the potential of a few selected bacteria-Bacillus licheniformis, B. subtilis and B. firmus, to multiply on nutrient medium supplemented with glucose (5%) and tea leaf extract (2%), it was observed that only B. licheniformis could proliferate on this medium. Hence, B. licheniformis was used for further studies. Tea plants were sprayed with a suspension of B. licheniformis at a dilution of 5 x 10(8) CFU/ml containing 0.1% Tween 80 as surfactant. In situ lowering of caffeine from tea leaves was evident without affecting the quality of the other tea components. Further, there was no change in the morphological and physiological characteristics as well. It is suggested that spraying of B. licheniformis may be useful in yielding decaffeinated tea with good flavour and aroma.  相似文献
