Four polyketides, leptosphaerone C (1), penicillenone (2), arugosin I (3) and 9-demethyl FR-901235 (4), as well as five known compounds, bacillosporin A (5), bacillosporin C (6), sequoiamonascin D (7), sequoiatone A (8), and sequoiatone B (9) were isolated from the Penicillium sp. JP-1, an endophytic fungus isolated from Aegiceras corniculatum. Their structures were determined by spectroscopic methods, mainly by 2D NMR spectroscopic analyses. Compound 1 showed cytotoxicity against A-549 cells with an IC50 value of 1.45 microM, while compound 2 showed cytotoxicity against P388 cells with an IC50 value of 1.38 microM.  相似文献

Three metabolites named phomopsin A (1), B (2) and C (3), together with two known compounds cytosporone B (4) and C (5), were isolated from the mangrove endophytic fungus, Phomopsis sp. ZSU-H76 obtained from the South China Sea. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods, mainly by 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopic techniques. The medium-sized cyclic phenol ether based on 1 or 2 is rare in natural products. In bioassays, compounds 1, 2, and 3 had no significant antibiotic activities, but compounds 4 and 5 inhibited two fungi Candida albicans and Fusarium oxysporum with an MIC ranging from 32 to 64 microg/ml.  相似文献

Two monoterpene glycosides, conjugated with gallic acid [globulusin A (1) and B (2)], together with four known compounds, cypellocarpin A (3), eucaglobulin (4), cuniloside (5) and (1S, 2S, 4R)-trans-2-hydroxy-1,8-cineole beta-d-glucopyranoside (6), were isolated from hot-water extracts of the leaves of Eucalyptus globulus. The structures of compounds 1 and 2 were determined by 1D, 2D NMR and MS spectroscopic analyses. The absolute stereochemistry of 1 was determined by correlating the spectroscopic data with those of synthetic compound 6 with a known configuration. Globulusin A (1) and B (2), cypellocarpin A (3) and eucaglobulin (4), scavenged DPPH free radicals and globulusin A (1) showed a higher antioxidant activity than the other tested compounds, with an IC50 of 3.8microM. Globulusin A (1) and eucaglobulin (4) concentration-dependently suppressed inflammatory cytokine production, tumor-necrosis factor-alpha and interleukin-1beta in cultured human myeloma THP-1 cells co-stimulated with phorbol myristate acetate. These compounds also inhibited melanogenesis in cultured murine melanoma B16F1 cells, without any significant cytotoxicity. These results suggested that globulusin A (1) and eucaglobulin (4), which were isolated as antioxidants from E. globulus, also had anti-inflammatory as well as anti-melanogenesis activity.  相似文献

Four sesquiterpenoids--strobilols A (1), B (2), C (3), and D (4)--were isolated from the organic extracts of fruiting bodies of the edible mushroom Strobilurus ohshimae. Their structures were determined by spectroscopic methods. Compound 1 exhibited moderate activity against the brine shrimp Artemia salina. This paper is the first report on isolation of cadinane-type sesquiterpenoids from S. ohshimae.  相似文献

Glucoside derivatives, xylarosides A (1) and B (2), were isolated from the broth extract of the endophytic fungus Xylaria sp. PSU-D14 along with two known compounds, sordaricin (3) and 2,3-dihydro-5-hydroxy-2-methyl-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one (4). The structures were assigned by spectroscopic methods. Sordaricin (3), one of the known metabolites, exhibited moderate antifungal activity against Candida albicans ATCC90028 with a MIC value of 32 microg/ml.  相似文献

A steryl epoxide, machillene (1), a secobutanolide, secomahubanolide (2), and two butanolides, zuihoenalide (3), and 3-(1-methoxyoctadecyl)-5-methylene-5H-furan-2-one (4), together with 12 known compounds, were isolated from stem wood of Machilus zuihoensis. Their structures were determined by means of spectroscopic analyses. Machillene (1) showed cytotoxic activity against NUGC-3 and HONE-1 cancer cell lines in vitro.  相似文献

Two ent-kaurene diterpenes, ent-16-kaurene-3beta,15beta,18-triol (1) and ent-3-oxo-16-kaurene-15beta,18-diol (2), were isolated from a dichloromethane extract of the bark of Suregada multiflora along with five known diterpenes:ent-16-kaurene-3beta,15beta-diol (3), abbeokutone (4), helioscopinolide A (5), helioscopinolide C (6) and helioscopinolide I (7). Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic analysis. ent-Abietane diterpenoids, hebeiabinins A-F (1-5), together with seven known diterpenoids were isolated from leaves of Isodon rubescens var. rubescens. The structures of 1-5 were established on the basis of spectroscopic analyses, including application of 2D NMR spectroscopic techniques. The diterpenoids isolated were evaluated for the cytotoxicity against A549, HT-29, and K562 tumor cells. Compound 5 was the most active with IC(50) value of 0.91 microM against A549 cells.  相似文献

The cyclic peptide alkaloid, chamaedrine, was isolated from the roots of Melochia chamaedris (Sterculiaceae), along with four known cyclic peptide alkaloids (adouetine X, frangulaline, scutianine B and scutianine C), and waltherione A, parasorbic acid, propacine, and (-)-epicatequine. Four new C-21 steroidal glycosides, mucronatosides E (1), F (2), G (3), and H (4), were isolated from the stems of Stephanotis mucronata. Two of them had the rare aglycone with a double bond between C-6 and C-7. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic data and chemical evidence. These isolated compounds were assayed for their immunological activities in vitro against concanavalin A (Con A)- and lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced proliferation of mice splenocytes. Compounds 2 and 4 showed immunosuppressive activities in a dose-dependent manner, while compounds 1 and 3 possessed immunoenhancing activities.  相似文献

A xanthone derivative, named gaboxanthone (1), has been isolated from the seed shells of Symphonia globulifera, together with known compounds, symphonin (2), globuliferin (3), guttiferone A (4), sistosterol, oleanolic acid and methyl citrate. The structure of the compound was assigned as 5,10-dihydroxy-8,9-dimethoxy-2,2-dimethyl-12-(3-methylbut-2-enyl) pyrano [3,2-b]xanthen-6(2H)-one, by means of spectroscopic analysis. The anti-plasmodial and antioxidant activities of the phenolic compounds were evaluated, respectively, in culture against W2 strain of Plasmodium falciparum and using the free radical scavenging activity of the DPPH radical, respectively. Compounds 1-4 were found to be active against the Plasmodium parasites (IC(50) of 3.53, 1.29, 3.86 and 3.17 microM, respectively). Guttiferone A (4) showed a potent free radical scavenging activity compared to the well-known antioxidant caffeic acid.  相似文献

From the endophytic fungus Phomopsis sp. PSU-D15, three metabolites named as phomoenamide (1), phomonitroester (2) and deacetylphomoxanthone B (3), were isolated together with three known compounds, dicerandrol A (4), (1S,2S,4S)-p-menthane-1,2,4-triol (5) and uridine. Dulcinoside (1), dulcisisoflavone (2), dulcisxanthone A (3) and sphaerobioside acetate (6) together with 22 known compounds were isolated from the green fruit of G. dulcis. Dulcisflavan (4), dulcisxanthone B (5) and isonormangostin (7) together with 22 known compounds were isolated from the ripe fruit. Compounds 6 and 7 were synthetic known compounds. A combination of vacuum liquid chromatography (VLC) and preparative thin layer chromatography (PTLC) of the dichloromethane extract of the aerial parts of the Iranian plant Pimpinella aurea afforded two phenylpropanoids, erythro-1'-(4-methoxyphenyl)-propan-1',2'-diol (1) and erythro-1'-[4-(sec-butyl)-phenyl]-propan-1',2'-diol (2), the latter being a natural product. The structures of these compounds were determined by spectroscopic means. The antioxidant properties of these compounds were assessed by the DPPH assay. The GC-MS analysis of the essential oils of P. aurea provided a chemical profile that was significantly different from the previously published reports.  相似文献

Ten steroidal saponins with cis-fused A/B ring, including a smilagenin glycoside, elephanoside A (4), and the five furostanol bisdesmosides, elephanosides B-F (6-10), were isolated from the stems of Yucca elephantipes Regel. (Agavaceae). Their structures were determined by detailed chemical and spectroscopic analysis. All the isolated compounds were tested for their in vitro antifungal and antibacterial activities. Only the two known spirostanol glycosides Ys-II (1) and Ys-IV (2) showed moderate inhibitory activity against the growth of Candida albicans and Cryptococcus neoformans.  相似文献

Structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic methods, especially using 2D-NMR spectroscopic analyses. All ent-kaurenoids were tested for their cytotoxic effects against K562 cells. Seventeen ent-abietane diterpenes, including gelomulides K-X (1-14), and three known compounds, were isolated from a dichloromethane-soluble extract of Gelonium aequoreum through bioassay-guided fractionation. Their structures were identified by spectroscopic methods, and stereochemistry was confirmed by X-ray crystallographic analysis, CD spectral data, and Mosher's method. The isolates were evaluated for in vitro cytotoxic activity, and compounds 1 and 3 showed moderate cytotoxicity against lung (A549), breast (MDA-MB-231 and MCF7), and liver (HepG2) cancer cell lines.  相似文献
