Thirteen undescribed strains of ballistoconidium-forming yeasts, isolated from leaves collected in the suburbs and along the
southeast seacoast of Bangkok, Thailand, were divided into four different groups in the genusSporobolomyces on the basis of morphological, physiological, biochemical, and chemotaxonomical characteristics, and analyses of the sequences
of 18S rDNA and internal transcribed spacer regions. DNA-DNA reassociation experiments with related species revealed that
these four groups were four new distinct species.Sporobolomyces nylandii sp. nov.,S. poonsookiae sp. nov.,S. blumeae sp. nov. andS. vermiculatus sp. nov. are proposed for these strains. 相似文献

Thirteen strains of ballistoconidium-forming yeasts were isolated from leaves collected in the Ogasawara Islands, Japan. They
represent three different species in the genusBullera on the basis of morphological, physiological, and biochemical characteristics, analyses of the sequences of internal transcribed
spacer regions and small subunit ribosomal DNA, and a nuclear DNA-DNA hybridization study. Three new species,Bullera boninensis (five strains),B. waltii (seven strains), andB. schimicola (one strain), are proposed for these 13 strains. 相似文献

A species ofMycosphaerella with aPseudocercospora anamorph was collected on overwintered fallen leaves of Japanese beech,Fagus crenata. Based on comparison of morphology withMycosphaerella species on Fagaceae, the fungus was newly described asMycosphaerella buna. ThePseudocercospora anamorph derived from a single ascospore of the fungus was morphologically identical to an endophytic anamorph isolated from
asymptomatic living leaves of Japanese beech.

A new species of the genusLaboulbenia, L. diplocheilae, has been established for specimens on the host genusDiplocheila (Coleoptera, Carabidae, Licinini).Laboulbenia diplocheilae is easily distinguished fromL. proliferans var.divaricata onChlaenius by the absence of a black constriction on the outermost branch of the outer appendage and by the simple stalks subtending
grouped antheridia borne on appendage branches in the middle of the appendage system. 相似文献

Two new species and one new variety of Oudemansiella (Agaricales) from Japan are described and illustrated: (1) Oudemansiella latilamellata sp. nov. (subgenus Xerula, section Radicatae) has relatively broad lamellae and broadly ellipsoid spores with a subacute apex; (2) Oudemansiella rhodophylla sp. nov. (subgenus Xerula, section Radicatae), growing in deciduous forests of Fagus crenata, Quercus crispula, etc., is characteristic in having lamellae tinted reddish; and (3) Oudemansiella amygdaliformis var. bispora var. nov. (subgenus Xerula, section Albotomentosae) is distinguished from the type variety by having two-spored basidia and grows in evergreen oak forests (Castanopsis sieboldii, Quercus glauca, etc.) or bamboo groves. 相似文献

Four strains of ballistoconidium-forming yeast-like fungi (K-95, K-125, K-132 and K139), isolated from plants collected in Bangkok, Thailand, were assigned to the genus Tilletiopsis based on morphological and chemotaxonomical characteristics. On the basis of sequence data of 18S rDNA and the D1/D2 region of 26S rDNA, strains K-95, K-125 and K-132 were close to T. flava and T. fulvescens, and strain K-139 each formed related to T. minor. DNA-DNA reassociation experiments with related species revealed that strains K-125, K-132 and K-139 each formed a new and distinct species whereas strain K-95 was identified as T. flava. Tilletiopsis derxii Takashima et Nakase sp. nov. (JCM 10217T; K-125), Tilletiopsis oryzicola Takashima et Nakase sp. nov. (JCM 10218T; K-132), and Tilletiopsis penniseti Takashima et Nakase sp. nov. (JCM 10216T; K-139) are the names proposed for the new taxa. 相似文献

Laboulbenia coneglanensis isolated from Japanese harpaline carabids is described and photographed. It is compared morphologically withL. flagellata from Japan and Europe, which is similar in appearance. The most important difference between the two species is in antheridial
character and host range. Other characters such as coloration, perithecial shape, especially the shape of the perithecial
apex, and size of ascospores are also useful for distinction.Laboulbenia ophoni var.dilatata described by Maire (1920) is regarded as a synonym ofL. coneglanensis. 相似文献

Cortinarius reticulisporus sp. nov., found in deciduous forests, is described and illustrated. It closely resemblesCortinarius rubicundulusin its pileus color and the vivid yellowing of the context on bruising, but differs from the latter in its subglobose to broadly
ellipsoid basidiospores with quotient of the length/width smaller than 1.4 and particularly fine lines connecting warts when
observed under SEM. The differences betweenCortinarius reticulisporus and other similar taxa are briefly discussed. 相似文献

Crepidotus ehrendorferi spec. nova (sect.Sphaerula) is similar to the North AmericanC. sinuosus and differs mainly by the anatomy of pileicutis with unseptated, long, slender terminal hyphae and some macroscopical characters. It is compared also withC. applanatus andC. crocophyllus. C. ehrendorferi is a very conspicuous, wood-inhabiting species known up to now from a very old forest reserve close to the city of Vienna (Austria). 相似文献

The new genus and species Teracosphaeria petroica is described for a perithecial ascomycete and its anamorph occurring on decayed wood collected in New Zealand. The fungus produces immersed, non-stromatic ceratosphaeria-like perithecia in nature, with hyaline, septate ascospores produced in unitunicate, non-amyloid asci. The anamorph produced in vitro is phialophora-like with lightly pigmented phialides terminating in flaring, deep collarettes that are often noticeably brown with conspicuous periclinal thickening. Phylogenetic analysis of LSU rDNA sequence data indicates that this fungus is distinct from morphologically similar fungi classified in the Chaetosphaeriales, the Trichosphaeriales or the Magnaporthaceae. It forms a monophyletic group with recently described, chaetosphaeria-like ascomycetes, such as the pyrenomycete genus Mirannulata, and shows affinity with the anamorphic species Dictyochaeta cylindrospora. The usefulness of describing anamorph genera for morphologically reduced anamorphs, when anamorph characteristics are actually part of the holomorph diagnosis, is discussed. An apparently contradictory example of the so-called Cordana and Pseudobotrytis anamorphs of Porosphaerella spp. is also discussed. 相似文献
