Summary Mussel populations in the Kerguelen Islands constitute an excellent model in which to study genetic differentiation, because of the exceptional geographic position of the islands with consequent very low external gene flow, the variety of biotopes that they occupy and their abundance there. Enzyme polymorphism and the electrophoretic variability of some loci have been studied in four populations of Mytilus desolationis Lamy 1936 and in four other populations of Aulacomya ater regia Powell 1957. In both species 67% of the loci were polymorphic. The electrophoretic variability of ACP-2, LAP-1, LAP-2, PGI and PGM in M. desolationis populations, and of ACP-2, LAP-1, LAP-2 and MDH in A. ater regia populations was analyzed by correspondence analysis. For M. desolationis the four populations studied were found to be heterogeneous; four loci contribute clearly to this differentiation. The populations from sheltered and exposed areas were distinguishable on the basis of the allelic frequencies of LAP-1 and LAP-2. The allelic frequencies of PGI and PGM allow further differentiation of the populations. For A. ater regia the four populations studied were distinguishable on the basis of the allele frequencies of ACP-2 and LAP-1 and the differences could not actually be related to their environmental conditions.  相似文献

Fairly numerous chitinozoans displaying morphological anomalies are recorded in Late Silurian subsurface material from Western Libya. The individuals described and illustrated in our paper range exclusively in a short interval at the top of the investigated sequence. These abnormal vesicles are interpreted as teratologic cases related lo an event of unknown origin. From our conclusions, the hypothesis of vegetative reproduction stages stated by previous authors seems unlikely. Relationships between two plant communities in the south-western Alps, high-altitude manured meadows (Triseto-Polygonion) and lower tall grass prairies (Adenostylion) have been examined by means of the flavonoid analysis of specimens belonging to six species common to those two associations. The species, collected at eight stations of the Ligurian Alps and the Ubaye valley, are: Trollius europaeus (Ranunculaceae), Chaerophyllum aureum (Umbellifereae), Silene cucubalus (Caryophyllaceae), Polygonum bistorta) (Polygonaceae), Alchemilla vulgaris (Rosaceae) and Centaurea montana (Compositae). In every species, factorial analysis of correspondence was applied to the distribution of flavonoid glycosides. This led to the partition of the populations into two groups according to the two sectors (Ligurian Alphs Ubaye valley) of the collection area. Secondly, populations of two species, Alchemilla vulgaris and Centaurea montana, exhibited further correlation of their flavonoid pattern with their phytosociological origin.  相似文献

Authors describe a new, iranian, variety of Semenovites baisunensis (Upper Albian of Turkmenia) and Semenovites aff. michalskii (Upper Albian of Mangyschlak and Kopet-Dag) collected for the first time in the Cretaceous beds of Kuh-E-Vacha chain in Central Iran. This Hoplitid genus permits to incorporate this region in the North-Tethydian Province as it is yet unknown in the mesogean Zaghros Mountains of South Iran.  相似文献

Résumé L'application de l'analyse factorielle des correspondances à un ensemble de données floristiques relatives aux prairies grasses d'altitude (Triseto-Polygonion) et aux mégaphorbiaies (Adenostylion) permet d'éclaircir la conception phytosociologique de ces groupements dans les Alpes occidentales. Elle conduit à l'éclatement du Trisetetum flavescentis des auteurs suisses en deux associations bien individualisées, Triseto-Meetum localisé aux massifs sud-occidentaux et Triseto-Agrostidetum propre aux chaînes plus septentrionales. Par contre, elle entraîne le rattachement des divers groupements de mégaphorbiaie décrits au seul Adenostylo-Cicerbitetum, association qui se différencie secondairement, selon les secteurs de son aire, en trois sous-unités distinctes. Cette synthèse aboutit, d'autre part, à la mise en évidence d'espèces communes aux deux types de groupements mais qui en fait, sous une apparence morphologique semblable, représentent vraisemblablement des taxons distincts. Dans une seconde phase, l'étude caryologique et l'analyse chimiotaxonomique devraient permenttre de saisir les différences de constitution génotypique existant entre les populations issues des mégaphorbiaies et celles développées dans les groupements du Triseto-Polygonion.  相似文献

Samples of Daphnia longispina, Ceriodaphnia quadrangula and Bosmina longirostris have been simultaneously reared in cages immersed in two fish ponds differing principally by their trophic status.Vital parameters such as duration of postembryonic stage, rate of growth of young and adults as well as fecundity were studied against environmental factors.The importance of food quantity, temperature and of their interaction on size, rate of growth and fecundity was investigated.The magnitude of the discrepancies between these parameters as measured under natural and laboratory conditions is stressed.

The detailed study of the Miocene strata of Bonifacio has revealed an atypical Miogypsinid assemblage. In addition to the three already cited genera, Miogypsinoides, Miogypsina and Miolepidocyclina from this region, Miogypsinodella is for the first time represented by two new species (Mdella corsicana nov. sp. et Mdella pillaria nov.sp.). The stratigraphical ranges of each genus in the Miogypsinidae are not verified here. However, Mdes bantamensis is still present in the Upper Burdigalian and the genus Miogypsinoides is also present in the Lower Langhian. Six species of Miogypsina coexist in the Upper Burdigalian (M. tani, M. globulina, M. intermedia, M. cf. sabahensis, M. cushmani, M. mediterranea) and two species are present in the Lower Langhian (M. antillea, M. digitata). This distribution is apparently an example of palaeoendemism resulting from the geographic isolation and the rotation of the Corso-Sardinian block and also from the palaeogeographical and palaeoecological favourable environment during that time.  相似文献

Both genders of Tigriopus thailandensis sp. nov. are described from a laboratory stock raised from individuals collected from the seaweed Enteromorpha clathrata in Thailand (Bangsaen Beach, Chonburi Province). Tigriopus thailandensis sp. nov. shares with its closest relative T. japonicus Mori, 1932 two setae on the third exopodal segment of leg 4 while other congeners bear 3 inner setae. However, allobasis and exopod of antenna in both genders are much more slender and elongate than in T. japonicus. All six naupliar stages of T. thailandensis are described from the offspring of isolated females. In comparison with nauplii of T. japonicus, T. thailandensis nauplii are characterized by the following: a smaller body size throughout the naupliar phase; first antennular segment without seta, second antennular segment with only one small seta plus two longer setae; third antennular segment with additional spinules from naupliar stage II onwards; antenna bears three small spinules on the terminal exopodal segment; one additional seta on the anterior surface of the antennary basis, tubular endopod of antenna with one tiny seta midlength at naupliar stage III that increases in size; mandibular basis with several spinules on anterior surface; mandibular coxa with one spinulose seta that is smooth in T. japonicus.  相似文献

The study of well-preserved Pliocene and Pleistocene s from Emi from Emilia is used to analyze the morphological variations of Mediterranean populations, to depict the relationship between fasciole shape and other morphological characteristics and to describe previously unpublished pedicellar valves. These new data allow to be two species distinguished: s (Müller) a (Müller) and s Pomel; six s Pomel; six species closely related to s are synonymi are synonymized: s and it and s Pomel, i Pomel, i and itS. and s Checchia-R Checchia-Rispoli, x Simonelli a Simonelli and the recent species from Mediterranean, s Mortensen Mortensen. s can be disti can be distinguished from s by its hear by its heart-shaped subanal fasciole, when the s one is reni one is reniform. Moreover, the frontal groove of s is deeper, t is deeper, the primary tubercles of the interambulacra 1 and 4 are less numerous, the petals are shorter and narrower, the labrum is shorter. As far as pedicellariae are concerned, the jags of the large tridentate ones are stronger and the base of the globiferous ones is bigger. Palaeoecological observations on outcrops of the Stirone River, in Parme region, show similar environmental affinities between fossil populations and recent populations from Mediterranean. The s fossils fossils seem to be preserved within their life environment, that is to say in shore sandy substrates.

L'étude d'un groupe de spécimens bien conservés appartenant au genre Spatangus, trouvés, dans des localités pliocènes et pléistocènes de l'Émilie, permet d'exposer l'étendue de la variation dans les populations fossiles méditerranéennes, de rechercher les relations entre la forme du fasciole sous-anal et les autres caractères morphologiques et de décrire les valves des pédicellaires, qui n'étaient pas connues jusqu'alors. Ces nouvelles données conduisent à reconnaître deux espèces différentes : s (Müller) e (Müller) et s Pomel ; six Pomel ; six espèces voisines de s doivent prob doivent probablement tomber en synonymie : s et itS et s Pomel, i Pomel, i et itS. a et s Checchia-R Checchia-Rispoli, x Simonelli e Simonelli et l'espèce vivant actuellement en Méditerranée, s Mortensen Mortensen. Des observations paléoécologiques sur un échantillon fossile récolté sur les bords de la rivière Stirone près de Parme montrent des affinités bionomiques semblables chez les populations fossiles et celles vivant en Méditerranée.  相似文献

Assemblages with blades are rare in the south of Europe and most of them are dated from the isotopic stages 4 and 3. The blades are, otherwise, often produced on Levallois cores with unipolar and bipolar methods. According to the sites, the blades are more or less retouched as different kinds of tools. However, there are no specific links between this blank and the tools, and never between the artefacts and the fauna remains (activities). The hypothesis of traditions or needs among time and space are asked without answer, while the blades are present in the north of Europe and the Near East in far older periods. Several sites can be considered to describe the variability of the technical behaviour and the archaeological context of the blades in south-east France, extending to north Italy. The two sites, Abri du Maras and Baume Flandin, located in the middle Rhône valley, yield evidence of a laminar debitage linked to a Levallois method and a “direct” method. The technical choices used in the two sites are accorded to the specificity of the laminar assemblages in the southern Europe.  相似文献

The sediments at the Cretaceous-Tertiary boundary record a major crisis of pelagic carbonate producers (calcareous nannofossils and planktonic foraminifera). Nevertheless, Maastrichtian-like nannofossils are found in lowermost Danian sediments. Their origin (reworked vs. survivors) is still under debate. A recently developed protocol leading to separation of the various calcareous components included in the lowermost Danian sediments allows evaluation of the nannofossil isotopic signatures across the Cretaceous-Paleocene boundary. Maastrichtian-like nannofossils found in Danian sediments record isotopic ratios (carbon and oxygen) similar to the Cretaceous ones. These results provide evidence that Maastrichtian-like nannofossils are mostly reworked at Bidart.  相似文献

Interaction of photoperiodism and zeatin, sucrose and water effects on the flowering of Chenopodium polyspermum Root removal in Chenopodium polyspermum, a quatitative short-day plant, enhances flowering under non-inductive conditions. Presence of roots may be mimicked by zeatin applications on buds. Induction of flowering by short days may be counteracted by applications of zeatin, and appearance of flowers depends on the balance between number of inductive short days and zeatin quantity applied. Sucrose added in the culture medium or applied on buds acts as zeatin. Applications of water on buds may also delay flowering. These results show the plurifactorial regulation of the floral development of this plant. The relations between the non-specificity of the induction and the specificity of the morphogenetic response are discussed.  相似文献

In the Majastre area (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, South-Eastern France), the hemipelagic domain of the Lower Cretaceous is exposed to the favour of the “Décrochement du Poil”. This palaeogeographical and paleotectonic position allowed the harvest of a diversified ammonite-fauna in the level with “small Barremites”. It is precisely dated here for the first time, and takes place between the base of the Barremense subzone and the base the Breistrofferi biohorizon of the Vandenheckei biozone (base of the Upper Barremian). Within this fauna, Artareites landii nov. sp. is considered here as a possible descendant of the genus Dissimilites Sarkar due to its characteristics and stratigraphic position. The genus Artareites nov. gen. is certainly an important milestone of the Helicancylidae towards the Toxoceratoides genus morphology. In this case, in agreement with the morphological, ontogenical, stratigraphical and paleobiogeographical parameters, some North American species could be considered as potential intermediate. Due to their characteristics and their joint origin, genus of small size included in the Helicancylidae represent a coherent set with the rank of a family, and is independent of the Ancyloceratidae. Its content is revised and limited to the genus phyletically associated around the main axis of Acrioceras-Dissimilites-Artareites nov. gen. and Toxoceratoides-Helicancylus, whose elements are connected by a number of forms. In this case, Monodites nov. gen. is created for the Hauterivian and Lower Barremian very specific forms Monodites crevolai (Vermeulen et al.) and Monodites trumpyi (Kakabadze et Thieuloy) which does not seem to be integrated in the taxa already recognized in the literature. The family Monoditidae nov. fam. is proposed to mark this uniqueness.  相似文献
