塔里木河下游胡杨空心特征   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
本文选取塔里木河下游阿拉干断面胡杨林长期监测样地,分析胡杨林空心率、树洞特征及其在不同胸径和树高组间的分布特点。结果表明: 研究区胡杨种群具有较高的空心现象,空心胡杨占调查胡杨总数量的56%,约159株·hm-2;胡杨空心率在不同胸径和树高组间呈显著差异,其与胸径呈显著正相关,与树高呈显著负相关。该监测样地胡杨树洞密度约560个·hm-2,平均每株2个;所调查的胡杨树洞大部分出现在树干上(57.1%),均以树干中部洞口为主(31.3%);直径为5~15 cm的树洞(38.2%)所占比例最大。总树洞数量、单株树洞数量、树洞直径等特征与胸径呈显著正相关,与树高呈显著负相关,而各树洞类型在不同胸径和树高组间的分布不同,变化趋势不一致。胡杨树洞在各方位上的分布差异显著,树洞集中分布在正西方向上。胡杨荒漠河岸林的空心发生率较为严重,且胸径越大其空穴化程度越明显。加强保育幼龄胡杨和修复退化荒漠河岸林具有重要意义。  相似文献

To clarify a statistical basis of the empirical fact designated as the quasi-1/2 power law of tree height in stratified natural forest communities, a derivative of Pearson's type VII distribution was adopted and used for describing the frequency distribution of individual tree height in a subpopulation extracted from a forest stand by the symmetric type difference diagram already proposed for the stratification of samples. Limited by the quasi-1/2 power law of tree height, all the coefficients of Pearson's type VII distribution were expressed as empirical equations of tree density in a subpopulation obtained from the stratification of samples. These empirical equations led to the normalized density function of tree height and gave a statistical basis for the quasi-1/2 power law of tree height. In addition to tree height data, the stem diameter at breast height and tree weight data for a forest stand were also stratified into subpopulations by using symmetric type difference diagrams. In conclusion, a new system was proposed for describing the dependence of mean tree height, mean stem diameter at breast height, and mean tree weight on tree density in a subpopulation.  相似文献

为科学筛选提升南亚热带人工林生产力的树种配置模式,选择南亚热带8个乡土树种,采用随机区组的试验设计,建立了树种多样性梯度(1、2、4、6个树种)人工新造林试验平台,研究树种多样性及不同功能特性树种混交对人工林早期树木生长的影响。结果表明: 在树木生长第5年,树木生长并没有随树种多样性增加而增加;速生树种马尾松和米老排纯林生长量是珍贵树种红椎和格木纯林的2.5~4.5倍;2个树种混交和4个树种混交情况下,针阔树种混交、速生树种与固氮树种混交显著提高树木生长量51.5%~132.8%,而当6个树种混交时,不同树种组配对生长量没有显著影响。不同树种配置模式下土壤氮、磷养分是影响树木早期生长的主要因素。针阔树种混交、速生和固氮树种混交能显著提高南亚热带人工林树木的早期生长。  相似文献

Spatio‐temporal variation in tropical savanna tree cover remains poorly understood. We aimed to quantify the drivers of tree cover in tropical mesic savannas in Kakadu National Park by relating changes in tree cover over 40 years to: mean annual rainfall, fire activity, initial tree cover and prior changes in tree cover. Aerial photography, acquired in 1964, 1984 and 2004, was obtained for fifty sites in Kakadu that spanned a rainfall gradient from approximately 1200 to 1600 mm. The remotely sensed estimates of tree cover were validated via field survey. Linear mixed effects modelling and multi‐model inference were used to assess the strength and form of the relationships between tree cover and predictor variables. Over the 40 years, tree cover across these savannas increased on average by 4.94 ± 0.88%, but was spatio‐temporally variable. Tree cover showed a positive albeit weak trend across the rainfall gradient. The strength of this positive relationship varied over the three measurement times, and this suggests that other factors are important in controlling tree cover. Tree cover was positively related to prior tree cover, and negatively correlated with fire activity. Over 20 years tree cover was more likely to increase if (i) tree cover was initially low or (ii) had decreased in the previous 20‐year interval or (iii) there had been fewer fires. Across the examined rainfall gradient, the greater variability in fire activity and inherently higher average tree cover at the wetter latitudes resulted in greater dynamism of tree cover compared with the drier latitudes. This is consistent with savanna tree cover being determined by interactions between mean annual rainfall, tree competition and frequent fire in these tropical mesic savannas.  相似文献

The relationship between trees, grass and soil in a dry savanna in Mali was investigated, to identify variables that are most relevant to assess vegetation units. A 65 ha plateau was inventoried using a systematic square grid sampling pattern. Thirteen soil or topography variables, and tree and grass characteristics were measured at each sampling point. Multivariate analysis was used to separately analyse soil, tree and grass data, and to characterize tree–grass and tree–soil relationships. Four units of soils, four units of tree formations, and four units of grass formations were identified. There was a correspondence between these groups, indicative of four vegetation units: thicket, bare land, shrub savanna and tree savanna. Soil depth and soil texture were the soil variables that best related to tree vegetation. A negative correlation was found between tree basal area and grass dry biomass. Finally, vegetation units, as identified from tree species composition, had contrasted diameter structures and densities.  相似文献

树洞是森林生态系统的重要结构,对动物多样性的维持起着重要作用。为研究热带森林树洞的数量特征及其分配特点,选取西双版纳20hm2热带森林动态监测样地为研究对象,采用地面观测法调查了样地内所有胸径≥5cm活立木上的树洞。结果表明:(1)该样地森林的树洞密度为108.4个·hm-2,具有树洞的树1725株(占树木总数的6.22%),隶属于208个种;(2)树木个体的树洞数量随径级增加而增加,并在种间变化不均匀;(3)树木出现空心的概率随胸径级的增加而显著增加,并且在树种间存在显著差异;(4)与其他纬度地区森林的树洞密度比较,本研究结果支持了Boyle等(2008)提出的低纬度森林具有较高树洞密度的推测。  相似文献

The relationship between biodiversity and productivity has stimulated an increasing body of research over the past decades, and this topic still occupies a central place in ecology. While most studies have focused on biomass production in quadrats or plots, few have investigated the scale‐dependent relationship from an individual plant perspective. We present an analysis of the effects of biodiversity (species diversity and functional diversity) on individual tree growth with a data set of 16,060 growth records from a 30‐ha temperate forest plot using spatially explicit individual tree‐based methods. A significant relationship between species diversity and tree growth was found at the individual tree level in our study. The magnitude and direction of biodiversity effects varies with the spatial scale. We found positive effects of species diversity on tree growth at scales exceeding 9 m. Individual tree growth rates increased when there was a greater diversity of species in the neighborhood of the focal tree, which provides evidence of a niche complementarity effect. At small scales (3–5 m), species diversity had negative effects on tree growth, suggesting that competition is more prevalent than complementarity or facilitation in these close neighborhoods. The results also revealed many confounding factors which influence tree growth, such as elevation and available sun light. We conclude that the use of individual tree‐based methods may lead to a better understanding of the biodiversity‐productivity relationship in forest communities.  相似文献

Tree survival is a critical driver of stand dynamics, influencing forest structure and composition. Many local-scale drivers (tree size, abiotic and biotic factors) have been proposed as being important in explaining patterns of tree survival, but their contributions are still unknown. We examined the relative importance of these local drivers on tree survival using generalized linear mixed models in an old-growth sub-tropical forest in south China at three levels (community, guild, and species). Among the variables tested, tree size was typically the most important driver of tree survival, followed by abiotic and then biotic variables. Tree size has a strongly positive effect on tree survival for small trees (10–30 cm dbh) and shade-tolerant tree species. Of the abiotic factors tested, elevation tended to be more important in affecting tree survival than other topographic variables. Abiotic factors generally influenced survival of species with relatively high abundances, for individuals in smaller size classes and for mid-tolerant species. Among biotic factors, we found that the mortality of tree species was not driven by density- and frequency-dependent effects in this sub-tropical forest, as indicated by the results of both total basal area of neighbors and the proportion of conspecific neighbors in our study. We conclude that the relative importance of variables driving patterns of tree survival varied greatly among tree size classes, species guilds, shade tolerance, density, and abundance classes in this sub-tropical forest. These results also provide critical information for future studies of forest dynamics and offer insight into forest management in this region.  相似文献

Tree line ecotone in the Changbai Mountains has undergone large changes in the past decades. Tree locations show variations on the four sides of the mountains, especially on the northern and western sides, which has not been fully explained. Previous studies attributed such variations to the variations in temperature. However, in this study, we hypothesized that topographic controls were responsible for causing the variations in the tree locations in tree line ecotone of the Changbai Mountains. To test the hypothesis, we used IKONOS images and WorldView-1 image to identify the tree locations and developed a logistic regression model using topographical variables to identify the dominant controls of the tree locations. The results showed that aspect, wetness, and slope were dominant controls for tree locations on western side of the mountains, whereas altitude, SPI, and aspect were the dominant factors on northern side. The upmost altitude a tree can currently reach was 2140 m asl on the northern side and 2060 m asl on western side. The model predicted results showed that habitats above the current tree line on the both sides were available for trees. Tree recruitments under the current tree line may take advantage of the available habitats at higher elevations based on the current tree location. Our research confirmed the controlling effects of topography on the tree locations in the tree line ecotone of Changbai Mountains and suggested that it was essential to assess the tree response to topography in the research of tree line ecotone.  相似文献

Short glides of less than 20 m seem energy inefficient for the Siberian flying squirrel Pteromys volans as with the northern flying squirrel Glaucomys sabrinus. However, Siberian flying squirrels in low-canopy forests frequently use short glides. Therefore, we sought to clarify the gliding patterns of Siberian flying squirrels for energy-efficient gliding transport in low-canopy forests (mean tree height, 15.3 m) in Hokkaido, Japan, based on records of 66 glides and 35 launch and landing trees. Mean launch height, landing height, and horizontal glide distance were 14.4, 2.7, and 21.4 m, respectively. For short distances, horizontal glide distance was strongly correlated with launch heights but not with launch tree height. For glides of more than 20 m, horizontal glide distance was significantly correlated with both launch height and launch tree height. The mean heights of launch and landing trees for short glides were 15.6 and 19.5 m, respectively. For long glides, these heights were 22.7 and 19.2 m. For short glides, mean launch tree height did not differ from overall mean tree height. However, for long glides, the mean launch tree height was greater than the overall mean tree height. Also, for short glides, the height of the landing tree was greater than that of the launch tree. Launch trees used for long glides were as high as the landing trees used in short glides. From these results, we conclude that Siberian flying squirrels in low-canopy forests save energy by gliding initially from a tree with sufficient height to permit a glide to a taller tree. This taller tree then permits long-distance glides that are energetically more efficient.  相似文献

木本植物木质部解剖特征与水分运输和干旱适应策略密切相关,但目前对华北低山丘陵区常用树种这方面的研究仍然不足。为研究这一地区植物木质部解剖特征与抗旱性的关系,研究以抗旱树种和非抗旱树种各5种为研究对象,通过测定与木质部横截面导管、薄壁组织相关的大量解剖学性状和非结构性碳浓度,比较两类树种木质部解剖特征的差异和解剖性状间的关联,以探究这些树种水力学的干旱适应策略差异。结果显示:1)10个树种的16个木质部性状均有较大变异性;2)两类树种间的平均导管直径和导管密度无显著差异,但抗旱树种导管壁厚度、最大导管直径、旁管薄壁组织比例和轴向薄壁组织比例以及非结构性碳(NSC)浓度显著大于非抗旱树种;3)抗旱树种的导管壁厚度与平均导管直径、最大导管直径和潜在最大导水率均呈显著正相关关系,最大导管直径与潜在最大导水率呈显著正相关关系,但非抗旱树种不存在这些关系。本研究抗旱树种同时具有较大的最大导管直径和较厚的导管壁,在保证较高的水分运输效率的同时又具备一定的抗栓塞能力,较多的旁管薄壁组织和NSC也为抗旱树种提供了更大的木质部水储存和栓塞修复能力。  相似文献

Species tree methods have provided improvements for estimating species relationships and the timing of diversification in recent radiations by allowing for gene tree discordance. Although gene tree discordance is often observed, most discordance is attributed to incomplete lineage sorting rather than other biological phenomena, and the causes of discordance are rarely investigated. We use species trees from multi-locus data to estimate the species relationships, evolutionary history and timing of diversification among Australian Gehyra—a group renowned for taxonomic uncertainty and showing a large degree of gene tree discordance. We find support for a recent Asian origin and two major clades: a tropically adapted clade and an arid adapted clade, with some exceptions, but no support for allopatric speciation driven by chromosomal rearrangement in the group. Bayesian concordance analysis revealed high gene tree discordance and comparisons of Robinson–Foulds distances showed that discordance between gene trees was significantly higher than that generated by topological uncertainty within each gene. Analysis of gene tree discordance and incomplete taxon sampling revealed that gene tree discordance was high whether terminal taxon or gene sampling was maximized, indicating discordance is due to biological processes, which may be important in contributing to gene tree discordance in many recently diversified organisms.  相似文献

通过对沈阳市建成区公园树木的调查分析,获得各树种的综合表现排序,并利用Jaccard定量修正系数进行树种问关联性分析。结果表明,沈阳市建成区城市森林群落的最佳树种组合为5组,参考树种组合3组,且选择树种与各树种的综合表现评价相一致;对沈阳城市森林的树种进行选择分析,提出沈阳城市森林的参考骨干树种和基调树种;分析了沈阳市建成区公园树种分布的现状,并提出其发展建议。  相似文献

林火干扰是大兴安岭森林更新的影响因子之一,研究火烧迹地森林更新的影响因子(立地条件、火前植被、火干扰特征)对理解生态系统的结构、功能和火后演替轨迹具有重要意义。选取呼中及新林林业局55个代表性火烧样地,利用增强回归树分析法分析了火烧迹地森林更新的影响因素。结果表明:(1)立地条件是影响针、阔叶树更新苗密度的主要因素;海拔对针叶树更新苗密度的影响最大;坡度对阔叶树更新苗密度影响最大;(2)距上次火烧时间对针叶树更新苗比重影响最大,其次是林型;(3)中度林火干扰后森林更新状况好于轻度和重度火烧迹地。根据火烧迹地森林更新调查分析可知:林型影响火后演替模式,火前为针叶树或阔叶树纯林,火后易发生自我更新(火后树种更新组成与火前林型相同),而针阔混交林在火干扰影响下易于发生序列演替(火后初期以早期演替树种更新为主)。  相似文献

Natural rubber was extracted from the fig tree (Ficus carica) cultivated in Korea as part of a survey of rubber producing plants. Fourier transform infrared and (13)C nuclear magnetic resonance analysis of samples prepared by successive extraction with acetone and benzene confirmed that the benzene-soluble residues are natural rubber, cis-1,4-polyisoprene. The rubber content in the latex of fig tree was about 4%, whereas the rubber content in the bark, leaf, and fruit was 0.3%, 0.1%, and 0.1%, respectively. Gel-permeation chromatography revealed that the molecular size of the natural rubber from fig tree is about 190 kD. Similar to rubber tree (Hevea brasiliensis) and guayule (Parthenium argentatum Gray), rubber biosynthesis in fig tree is tightly associated with rubber particles. The rubber transferase in rubber particles exhibited a higher affinity for farnesyl pyrophosphate than for isopentenyl pyrophosphate, with apparent K(m) values of 2.8 and 228 microM, respectively. Examination of latex serum from fig tree by sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis revealed major proteins of 25 and 48 kD in size, and several proteins with molecular mass below 20 and above 100 kD. Partial N-terminal amino acid sequencing and immunochemical analyses revealed that the 25- and 48-kD proteins were novel and not related to any other suggested rubber transferases. The effect of EDTA and Mg(2+) ion on in vitro rubber biosynthesis in fig tree and rubber tree suggested that divalent metal ion present in the latex serum is an important factor in determining the different rubber biosynthetic activities in fig tree and rubber tree.  相似文献

以银杏雄株、雌株成年树和还未开过花的幼树的根、茎、叶,雌株幼果和不同时期的雄花芽、雌花芽为材料,利用同位素标记,制备Ginlfy和GinNdly两个特异探针,进行Northern分子杂交,研究银杏LFY同源基因Ginlfy、GinNdly在银杏不同器官,花芽不同生长发育时期的时空表达情况。结果显示,无论是幼树,还是成年的雌株、雄株,Ginlfy基因在各个器官,如根、茎、叶、雌花芽、雄花芽、幼果以及雌花芽、雄花芽的不同发育时期都有表达,属组成型表达,而GinNdly基因只在叶和不同时期的雄花芽、雌花芽中表达,其他器官都不表达,属特异性表达。银杏双拷贝LFY同源基因中的GinNdly基因可能与开花关系更为密切。 Abstract: Expressions of Ginlfy and GinNdly gene were studied by northern blotting in different organs and stages of Ginkgo Biloba. Ginlfy gene was expressed in different organs such as root, stem, leaf of juvenile tree, male tree and female tree, and in different stages of male flower bud and female flower bud. It was inferred that Ginlfy gene could be expressed constitutionally. GinNdly gene was only expressed in leaf of juvenile tree, male tree and female tree and in different stages of male flower bud and female flower bud, while GinNdly gene was not expressed in the other organs. Therefore it was thought that GinNdly gene could be expressed differentially and be a close relation to development of flower.  相似文献

The commensalistic interaction between vascular epiphytes and host trees is a type of biotic interaction that has been recently analysed with a network approach. This approach is useful to describe the network structure with metrics such as nestedness, specialization and interaction evenness, which can be compared with other vascular epiphyte-host tree networks from different forests of the world. However, in several cases these comparisons showed different and inconsistent patterns between these networks, and their possible ecological and evolutionary determinants have been scarcely studied. In this study, the interactions between vascular epiphytes and host trees of a subtropical forest of sierra de San Javier (Tucuman, Argentina) were analysed with a network approach. We calculated metrics to characterize the network and we analysed factors such as the abundance of species, tree size, tree bark texture, and tree wood density in order to predict interaction frequencies and network structure. The interaction network analysed exhibited a nested structure, an even distribution of interactions, and low specialization, properties shared with other obligated vascular epiphyte-host tree networks with a different assemblage structure. Interaction frequencies were predicted by the abundance of species, tree size and tree bark texture. Species abundance and tree size also predicted nestedness. Abundance indicated that abundant species interact more frequently; and tree size was an important predictor, since larger-diameter trees hosted more vascular epiphyte species than small-diameter trees. This is one of the first studies analyzing interactions between vascular epiphytes and host trees using a network approach in a subtropical forest, and taking the whole vascular epiphyte assemblage of the sampled community into account.  相似文献

植物叶性状的权衡关系反映了植物对环境的高度适应性及其在复杂生境下的自我调控能力,了解半干旱区城市绿化树种叶性状间的权衡关系,比较不同生长型(针叶和阔叶)树种异速生长的差异有助于进一步认识植物的进化机制。以兰州市典型绿化树种(13种针叶树和47种阔叶树)为对象,测量部分叶性状,采用标准化主轴估计和系统独立比较分析的方法比较不同性状间的权衡关系。结果表明:不同生长型树种叶面积、叶体积与叶片干重之间均为等速生长关系,针叶和阔叶树种间并无显著差异;叶厚与叶面积间为"此消彼长"的权衡关系,但并不显著;阔叶叶长与叶宽间异速生长斜率为0.764。兰州市典型绿化树种叶性状间的权衡可能是长期适应黄土高原特殊生境的自适应过程,也说明部分性状间存在协变关系,阔叶绿化树种的权衡表明其符合"快速投资-收益"特征。  相似文献

目的调查滇西亚种树鼩体外寄生虫的自然感染状况,为建立树鼩质量控制标准提供依据。方法对野生的滇西亚种树鼩和自繁F1代树鼩各60只分别用尸检法和活体法检测,随即采用拔毛或用透明胶带粘取腋下、耳根、腹股沟、肛门附近等处的毛发制片,置于体视镜和显微镜下观察虫体和虫卵。结果野生滇西亚种树鼩和自繁F1代树鼩体外寄生虫自然感染率分别为:虱子25%/6%、蚤5%/0、蜱1.6%/0、水蛭1.6%/0、虱子和蚤混合感染1.6%/0。结论野生树鼩体外寄生虫的自然感染多为虱子和蚤,其次还有蝉、水蛭,总感染率明显高于自繁F1代。使用灭虱灵对于驱除树鼩体外寄生虫具有较好的疗效。  相似文献
