The authors deduced the equation that describes the sedimentation of erythrocytes as the function of time, hematocrit, hemoglobin and some plasma protein concentrations and the citrate viscosity and density. This values served to describe plasma and erythrocyte density, plasma viscosity, erythrocyte aggregation and the influence of suspension concentration on the erythrocyte sedimentation rate. The influence of citrate on blood dilution (the reduction of hematocrit and plasma protein concentrations) was also considered. A good agreement between the observed and predicted values was obtained.  相似文献

A new physical theory of erythrocyte sedimentation is proposed. Various assumptions underlying Stokes' formula are first criticized. An explicit formula is proposed, taking into account some of the results of recent experimental investigations including the effect of upward flow of plasma and the time course of growth of aggregates. It is generally shown that the sedimentation curve without aggregation never becomes a sigmoid. Our formula is applicable to the increased ESR due to the aggregation of erythrocytes. The sedimentation velocity depends not only on the hematocrit and the ultimate size of the aggregates, but also on the retardation time of the growth of aggregates in conformity with the experimental result of Kernick et al.  相似文献

Based on the impedance characteristic of erythrocytes at high frequency, the response of piezoelectric crystal impedance (PCI) sensor in the erythrocyte suspension was derived and verified experimentally. A method of using PCI sensor to investigate erythrocyte aggregation-sedimentation phenomenon was proposed. From the frequency response of the PCI sensor, the erythrocyte aggregation time and sedimentation rate could be obtained during erythrocyte aggregation and sedimentation. With the present method, the effects of the erythrocyte deformability, the osmotic pressure and the coexisting macromolecules on the erythrocyte sedimentation rate were studied. The results show that the PCI sensor possesses some advantages, such as good sensitivity, simplicity of use and no thermal effect for the impedance study of erythrocyte aggregation and sedimentation.  相似文献

旨以研究杜仲绿原酸对高脂高胆固醇诱导的高血脂模型小鼠血液流变学的影响,以昆明小鼠为实验动物,随机分成5组:阴性对照组,模型对照组和低剂量(25 mg/kg BW)、中剂量(50 mg/kg BW)、高剂量(100 mg/kg BW)杜仲绿原酸组,每组10只.后4组饲以高脂饲粮,同时小鼠灌胃杜仲绿原酸4周,实验结束,分别测定各组小鼠血液流变学参数、血清和肝脏的抗氧化酶活性和脂质过氧化产物MDA含量及其总抗氧化能力和羟自由基清除率.高脂血症小鼠的全血粘度、血浆粘度、红细胞压积、血沉、纤维蛋白原、红细胞刚性指数和聚集指数显著降低(P<0.05),红细胞变形指数显著提高(P<0.05),小鼠血清和肝脏SOD、GSH-Px水平、总抗氧化能力和羟自由基清除能力均显著升高(P<0.05),MDA水平显著降低(P<0.05).在高脂膳食条件下,杜仲绿原酸能有效提高血液的抗氧化防御功能(包括抗氧化力、抗氧化酶活性)、改变血液流变学参数等,降低血液粘度、红细胞刚性和聚集,增强变形能力,使细胞膜的流动性增高,其中以中剂量效果相对较好.  相似文献

目的:探讨甲胎蛋白(alphafetoprotein,AFP)、血流变、超敏C反应蛋白(hypersensitive C-reactive protein,hs-CRP)等指标检测对早期肝癌患者的诊断价值。方法:将我院自2016年5月至2019年5月间收治的经手术和病理学检查确诊肝癌患者115例作为A组,109例其他肝脏良性病变患者作为B组,同期体检健康者98例作为对照组C组,观察三组对象的AFP、血流变和超敏C反应蛋白等各项指标的水平。结果:A组患者的AFP水平和hs-CRP水平均明显高于B组肝脏良性病变组和C组健康对照组,B组患者AFP高于C组,组间差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05),B组和C组患者hs-CRP水平比较差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);A组患者全血高、中、低切粘度、全血粘度、红细胞压积、血细胞比容、血沉方程K值、纤维蛋白原、红细胞聚集指数和红细胞刚性指数等指标水平均明显高于B组和C组对象,B组患者血沉和血沉方程K值明显高于C组,组间差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05);A组肝癌患者TNM分期较高的患者血沉方程K值、血细胞比容、血浆粘度和全血低切粘度均明显高于TNM低分期的患者,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论:患者的AFP、hs-CRP联合血流变血指标的异常改变可作为鉴别肝脏良性疾病和恶性肿瘤的依据,同时能提高诊断的准确性,可在临床范围内推广使用。  相似文献

目的:观察肠淋巴液引流对失血性休克大鼠红细胞流变性指标以及血液黏度的作用。方法:Wistar雄性大鼠均分为假休克组、休克组(复制失血性休克模型)、引流组(复制失血性休克模型,自低血压1 h引流休克肠淋巴液)。在低血压3 h或相应时间,经腹主动脉取血,检测红细胞参数、红细胞电泳、红细胞沉降率(ESR)以及血液黏度,计算红细胞聚集指数、红细胞变形指数。结果:与假休克组比较,休克组红细胞数量、红细胞比积(HCT)、血红蛋白(Hb)、平均红细胞血红蛋白浓度(MCHC)、红细胞电泳率与迁移率、红细胞变形指数、全血黏度、全血低切与高切相对黏度和还原黏度显著降低,休克组平均红细胞体积、红细胞电泳时间、ESR、血沉方程K值与校正K值、红细胞聚集性指数、血浆黏度显著升高;引流组MCHC、红细胞电泳率与迁移率、全血黏度、全血低切与高切还原黏度均显著降低,引流组红细胞体积分布宽度(RDW-SD)显著增加。同时,引流组HCT、RDW-SD、红细胞变形指数、全血黏度、全血低切与高切相对黏度显著高于休克组;ESR、血沉方程K值与校正K值、红细胞聚集性指数、血浆黏度显著低于休克组。结论:休克肠淋巴液引流可改善失血性休克大鼠红细胞流变行为,从而改善血液流变性。  相似文献

One of the most common health criteria--erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR)--is considered in the paper. It is shown that the simple model presented, based on the generalized Stokes formula, the blood volume conservation law, and the Smoluchowski theory of particles coagulation, makes it possible, on the basis of experimentally recorded sedimentation curves, to identify quantitatively the values of the essential physical parameters of the coupled processes of erythrocyte aggregation and sedimentation. The analytical solution of Smoluchowski equation is used to evaluate the sedimentation and aggregation rate constants. The problem of determining the erythrocyte aggregation rate (EAR) is transformed to a minimization task in which only the experimental results for ESR are needed. Experimentally ESR is measured accurately enough by using an equipment set up just for the purpose. This method of identification could be used as a diagnostic test in hematological laboratories.  相似文献

The measurements of erythrocyte orientation, obtained through a spin labeling technique, are compared with a phenomenological model. Several rheological conditions are varied: hematocrit, suspending medium viscosity, blood age, artificial reversible aggregation. We found that the onset of orientation is very sensitive to any variation of these conditions, and that its measurement would be a good method to assess erythrocyte deformability. A critical shear rate for the orientation process is then determined and compared to the corresponding parameter obtained from viscosity measurements of identical suspensions. A close qualitative relationship is found between the two sets of values of the critical shear rate.  相似文献

Serum protein analysis is a valuable addition to the present methods for evaluating the status of the individual patient with coccidioidomycosis. The albumin protein and albumin glycoprotein decrease and gamma protein increases in relation to severity of infection. In 40 patients with coccidioidomycosis, changes in individual protein fractions could be significantly correlated with conventional laboratory tests, such as the complement fixation test, erythrocyte sedimentation rate and hematocrit.Changes in the alpha, glycoprotein concentration, the erythrocyte sedimentation rate and the hematocrit value appear to be related to the degree of inflammation, while the changes in the gamma protein and the beta, glycoprotein appear to be related to the specific antibody response.  相似文献

The erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) test has been used for over a century. The Westergren method is routinely used in a variety of clinics. However, the mechanism of erythrocyte sedimentation remains unclear, and the 60 min required for the test seems excessive. We investigated the effects of cell aggregation during blood sedimentation and electrical conductivity at different hematocrits. A sample of blood was drop cast into a small chamber with two planar electrodes placed on the bottom. The measured blood conductivity increased slightly during the first minute and decreased thereafter. We explored various methods of enhancing or retarding the erythrocyte aggregation. Using experimental measurements and theoretical calculations, we show that the initial increase in blood conductivity was indeed caused by aggregation, while the subsequent decrease in conductivity resulted from the deposition of erythrocytes. We present a method for calculating blood conductivity based on effective medium theory. Erythrocytes are modeled as conducting spheroids surrounded by a thin insulating membrane. A digital camera was used to investigate the erythrocyte sedimentation behavior and the distribution of the cell volume fraction in a capillary tube. Experimental observations and theoretical estimations of the settling velocity are provided. We experimentally demonstrate that the disaggregated cells settle much slower than the aggregated cells. We show that our method of measuring the electrical conductivity credibly reflected the ESR. The method was very sensitive to the initial stage of aggregation and sedimentation, while the sedimentation curve for the Westergren ESR test has a very mild slope in the initial time. We tested our method for rapid estimation of the Westergren ESR. We show a correlation between our method of measuring changes in blood conductivity and standard Westergren ESR method. In the future, our method could be examined as a potential means of accelerating ESR tests in clinical practice.  相似文献

To evaluate the effects of contrast media (CMs) on erythrocyte aggregation, we measured the erythrocyte sedimentation with Westergren method at 25 degrees C. CMs were diatrizoate (Urografin 76%) for ionic CM and iopamidol (Iopamiron 370) for nonionic CM. Swine red blood cells (RBCs) were suspended in autologous plasma containing diatrizoate (URO), iopamidol (IOP), and saline (SAL) at 6.7% w/w, as well as in plasma alone (PLA), at 40% of the hematocrit. Sigmoid sedimentation curves were fitted to the Puccini et al. (1977) equation, and the average number of RBCs per aggregate m was calculated by Stokes' law against the time t. According to the Murata-Secomb (1988) theory we estimated the collision rate K between two aggregates from dm/dt in the stationary phase during sedimentation. Corresponding to the maximal ESR, the dm/dt (in cells/s) was 0.52 in PLA, 0.09 in SAL, 0.06 in URO and 0.03 in IOP, so that K also decreased in proportion to dm/dt from 145 fL/s in PLA to 8 fL/s in IOP. Both the ionic and nonionic CMs tend to inhibit the RBC aggregation more than that in SAL; the latter iopamidol appears to be inhibitory more than the former diatrizoate in autologous plasma.  相似文献

目的:观察结扎肠系膜淋巴管(MLD)对急性失血大鼠红细胞流变性的影响。方法:20只Wistar雄性大鼠随机均分为失血组与结扎组。所有大鼠经右侧颈总动脉匀速放血(失血量为全血量的1/4),结扎组失血后结扎MLD,失血组仅在MLD下穿线。记录24h存活情况。24h后,将存活大鼠经左侧颈总动脉迅速放血,测定实验前后的红细胞沉降率(ESR)、红细胞电泳、红细胞压积(Hct),计算红细胞聚集与变形指数。结果:急性失血后24h,结扎组大鼠存活情况(9只)略好于失血组(6只)。急性失血后24h,与实验前相比,失血组与结扎组的ESR、血沉方程K值、校正K值、红细胞电泳时间均显著升高或延长,红细胞变形性降低,失血组的红细胞聚集指数显著升高、红细胞电泳长度与迁移率均显著降低;结扎组的ESR、血沉方程K值、校正K值、红细胞聚集指数、电泳时间较失血组显著降低,红细胞电泳长度与迁移率、变形性较失血组显著升高。结论:急性失血导致大鼠红细胞聚集性升高、红细胞电泳能力及变形性降低,结扎MLD可改善急性失血导致的红细胞流变性异常。  相似文献

We investigated the hemorheological, hematological and biochemical parameters in 30 cases of acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL), 21 cases of acute myelogenous leukemia (AML) and 30 cases of chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML). The parameters studied include whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity, erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), red cell filterability, hematocrit, platelet count and aggregation, fibrinogen, hemoglobin, leucocyte count, bleeding time and lactate dehydrogenase activity (LDH). In the cases of ALL we observed significant decrease in whole blood viscosity, hemoglobin, hematocrit and platelet count but an increase in plasma viscosity, fibrinogen, bleeding time and LDH activity. In the cases of AML, we observed increase in whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity, ESR, fibrinogen, leucocyte count, bleeding time and LDH activity but decrease in the hemoglobin, hematocrit and platelet count. In the cases of CML, we observed an increase of whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity, ESR, fibrinogen elevation but decreases in bleeding time. In all cases, red cell filterability was unaffected.  相似文献

The normal transmyocardial tissue hematocrit distribution (i.e., subepicardial greater than subendocardial) is known to be affected by red blood cell (RBC) aggregation. Prior studies employing the use of infused large macromolecules to increase erythrocyte aggregation are complicated by both increased plasma viscosity and dilution of plasma. Using a new technique to specifically alter the aggregation behavior by covalent attachment of Pluronic F-98 to the surface of the RBC, we have determined the effects of only enhanced aggregation (i.e., Pluronic F-98-coated RBCs) versus enhanced aggregation with increased plasma viscosity (i.e., an addition of 500 kDa dextran) on myocardial tissue hematocrit in rapidly frozen guinea pig hearts. Although both approaches equally increased aggregation, tissue hematocrit profiles differed markedly: 1) when Pluronic F-98-coated cells were used, the normal transmyocardial gradient was abolished, and 2) when dextran was added, the hematocrit remained at subepicardial levels for about one-half the thickness of the myocardium and then rapidly decreased to the control level in the subendocardial layer. Our results indicate that myocardial hematocrit profiles are sensitive to both RBC aggregation and to changes of plasma viscosity associated with increased RBC aggregation. Furthermore, they suggest the need for additional studies to explore the mechanisms affecting RBC distribution in three-dimensional vascular beds.  相似文献

Changes in the aggregation of human erythrocytes caused by polydextrane were studied under conditions influencing the rate of potassium leakage from cells to medium. It was shown that aggregation decreases as the leakage of potassium ions increases and is completely abolished at leakage rates higher than 2.5-3.0 mmol/l of erythrocytes per hour. The involvement of nonequilibrial electrokinetic phenomena in the inhibition of erythrocyte aggregation by ionic fluxes across erythrocyte surface is discussed. It is proposed that potassium leakage affects the erythrocyte sedimentation rate in clinical investigations.  相似文献

Magnetic resonance microscopy is used to non-invasively measure the radial velocity distribution in Couette flow of erythrocyte suspensions of varying aggregation behavior at a nominal shear rate of 2.20 s(-1) in a 1 mm gap. Suspensions of red blood cells in albumin-saline, plasma and 1.48% Dextran added plasma at average hematocrits near 0.40 are studied, providing a range of aggregation ability. The spatial distribution of the red blood cell volume fraction, hematocrit, is calculated from the velocity distribution. The hematocrit profiles provide direct measure of the thickness of the aggregation and shear rate dependent red blood cell depletion at the Couette surfaces. At the nominal shear rate studied hematocrit distributions for the red blood cells in plasma show a depletion zone near the inner Couette wall but not the outer wall. The red blood cells in plasma with Dextran show cell depletion regions of approximately 100 mum at both the inner and outer Couette surfaces, with greater depletion at the inner wall, but approach the normal blood hematocrit distribution with a doubling of shear rate due to decreased aggregation. The material response of the blood is spatially dependent with the shear rate and the hematocrit distribution non-uniform across the gap.  相似文献

Various hematological examinations were performed on a total of 208 Japanese monkeys (Macaca fuscata). One hundred and fifty-eight of the monkeys were originally from different habitats in the western part of Japan, where they existed as free-ranging animals. The remaining 50 monkeys were kept in an open-enclosure for about one year. Laboratory examinations on blood specimens included the following; the erythrocyte and leukocyte counts, hemoglobin concentration, hematocrit, the specific gravity of the blood and plasma, protein concentration of the plasma, SGO-T, SGP-T, A/G ratio and the erythrocyte sedimentation rate. Results were similar to those reported for otherMacaca species. When the data reported here was compared with the known values for man, the Japanese monkey showed lower values for the erythrocyte count, hemoglobin concentration, hematocrit, and the specific gravity of the blood. Higher values were shown for the leukocyte count and SGO-T activity, with a wider overall range of variation.  相似文献

In order to specify the major determinant of the magnetic enhancement of erythrocyte sedimentation observed previously, the dependence of erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) on osmolality was measured under a strong magnetic field. Even at hypotonic osmolality, an increase in ESR due to aggregation was observed in plasma solution as compared with that without aggregation in saline solution. However, the magnetic field did not enhance ESR at hypotonic osmolality, when the cell shape was an isotropic sphere (spherocyte). Thus, we narrowed our search to a mechanism that would explain the enhanced ESR found specifically in anisotropic erythrocytes. It was concluded that the major determinant can only work for anisotropic erythrocytes and is a magnetic field-induced increase in an intermembrane adhesive area due to magnetic orientation of anisotropic erythrocytes.  相似文献

Effect and mechanism of simulated weightlessness (SWL) in humans and rabbits erythrocyte deformation were studied. Erythrocyte deformation and membrane fluidity in humans and rabbits, and erythrocyte morphology and hemorreology indices in control and HDT rabbits were measured. The results were a decrease in erythrocyte deformation and membrane fluidity in humans and rabbits during SWL, a significant increase in abnormal erythrocyte, blood viscosity, hematocrit, fibrinogen, and red blood cell aggregation index in HDT rabbits. These results show that the changes in erythrocyte shape, increase of erythrocyte internal viscosity and changes in erythrocyte visco-elasticity may be causing the decrease of erythrocyte deformation in SWL humans and rabbits.  相似文献

对深水网箱养殖卵形鲳鲹(Trachinotus ovatus)成鱼的部分血液性状和血清生化指标进行测定比较.结果显示,雌、雄成鱼红细胞数量(RBC)、白细胞数量(WBC)、血细胞比容(Ht)、红细胞沉降率(ESR)等血液性状不存在显著性差异.血清指标中雌、雄成鱼血糖(GLU)的含量分别为(10.24±1.25)mmol/L、(17.36±1.34)mmol/L,存在极显著差异;雌鱼血清中低密度脂蛋白胆固醇(LDL-C)、钾离子(K+)、谷丙转氨酶(ALT)、谷草转氨酶(AST)浓度大于雄鱼(P<0.05);雄鱼血清中肌酐(CREA)、钠离子(Na+)浓度大于雌鱼(P<0.05);尿酸(UA)、尿素氮(BUN)、甘油三酯(TG)、总胆固醇(TC)、高密度脂蛋白胆固醇(HDL-C)、γ-谷氨酰转肽酶(γ-GT)、总蛋白(TP)、白蛋白(ALB)、球蛋白(GLB)、白蛋白/球蛋白(ALB/GLB)、钙离子(Ca2+)、氯离子(Cl-)、无机磷(PO43-)等指标,雌雄差异不显著.卵形鲳鲹部分生化指标存在雌雄差异,可能与个体的生理状况有关.结果可为卵形鲳鲹血液生理研究提供基础资料.  相似文献
