A model system was used to determine the effect of stretch on prostacyclin (PGI) production by organotypic fetal rat lung cultures grown on gelatin foam in vitro, measured by RIA of 6-keto-PGF1α (6KF) in the culture medium. The stretching apparatus was programmable for stretch of varying frequency and duration. The effective stimuli for PGI production were: continuous pulsatile stretch> intermittent pulsatile stretch> permanent stretch (p<0.05). The rate of PGI production was greatest in the first 15min of pulsatile stretch and was associated with a 70% increase in cAMP production (p < 0.05). When the effect of magnitude of stretch was compared (15% vs 28% extension), there was a significant increase with a maximum in the 28% stretch group double that of the 15% stretch group (p<0.01). PGI production in response to pulsatile stretching was inhibited by indomethacin but not by pretreatment with cortisol. These results suggest that the production of PGI by lung cells may be significantly affected by the frequency and magnitude of pulsatile stretching.  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of different static and dynamic stretch protocols on 20-m sprint performance. The 97 male rugby union players were assigned randomly to 4 groups: passive static stretch (PSS; n = 28), active dynamic stretch (ADS; n = 22), active static stretch (ASST; n = 24), and static dynamic stretch (SDS; n = 23). All groups performed a standard 10-minute jog warm-up, followed by two 20-m sprints. The 20-m sprints were then repeated after subjects had performed different stretch protocols. The PSS and ASST groups had a significant increase in sprint time (p < or = 0.05), while the ADS group had a significant decrease in sprint time (p < or = 0.05). The decrease in sprint time, observed in the SDS group, was found to be nonsignificant (p > or = 0.05). The decrease in performance for the 2 static stretch groups was attributed to an increase in the musculotendinous unit (MTU) compliance, leading to a decrease in the MTU ability to store elastic energy in its eccentric phase. The reason why the ADS group improved performance is less clear, but could be linked to the rehearsal of specific movement patterns, which may help increase coordination of subsequent movement. It was concluded that static stretching as part of a warm-up may decrease short sprint performance, whereas active dynamic stretching seems to increase 20-m sprint performance.  相似文献

Bradykinin produces pulmonary vasodilation and also stimulates production of other pulmonary vasodilators, including prostaglandin I2 (PGI2) and endothelial-derived relaxing factor. In 12 chronically instrumented fetal lambs, we therefore investigated potential mediation of the bradykinin response by PGI2 or other cyclooxygenase products. A 15-min infusion of bradykinin (approximately 1 microgram/kg estimated fetal wt/min) increased fetal pulmonary blood flow by 522% (P less than 0.05) and decreased pulmonary vascular resistance by 86% (P less than 0.05); plasma 6-ketoprostaglandin F1 alpha (6-keto-PGF1 alpha) concentration also increased (P less than 0.05). After cyclooxygenase inhibition by indomethacin (3 mg), bradykinin increased pulmonary blood flow by only 350% (P less than 0.05) and decreased pulmonary vascular resistance by 83% (P less than 0.05); plasma 6-keto-PGF1 alpha concentrations did not increase. The increase in pulmonary blood flow produced by bradykinin was greater before administration of indomethacin than after (P less than 0.05). These studies demonstrate that bradykinin produces fetal pulmonary vasodilation by at least two mechanisms, one dependent on and the other independent of PGI2 production, the latter mechanism predominating.  相似文献

108 patients with ischemic peripheral vascular disease were randomly allocated to receive infusion of either PGI2 (6 ng/kg/min over 8 hours daily for 5 consecutive days) or placebo in a double-blind manner. All patients had Stage II disease (Fontaine classification). One month after infusion the absolute and relative walking times were significantly (p less than 0.05) longer in the PGI2- than in the placebo-treated group. Patients were further classified as treatment responders or non-responders on the basis of increase of absolute and relative walking times. After one month 44% (24 out of 54) of the PGI2- and 15% (8 out of 54) of the placebo-treated patients were positive treatment-responders (p less than 0.01).  相似文献

Sympathetic nerve stimulation can cause pulmonary vasoconstriction related to norepinephrine (NE) release. Because of recent reports that NE caused prostacyclin (PGI2) release from systemic arteries, we wondered whether NE caused pulmonary vascular PGI2 release and whether a feedback mechanism existed whereby PGI2 modulated NE-induced vasoconstriction. NE-induced PGI2 synthesis in rat main pulmonary artery rings was larger than that induced by KCl, passive stretch, or a thromboxane analogue, was alpha-adrenergic receptor dependent, and was enhanced by endothelium removal. The NE-induced PGI2 synthesis was not tightly coupled to the magnitude of the pulmonary artery ring contractile response, and inhibition of NE-induced PGI2 production by cyclooxygenase blockade in either the pulmonary artery ring preparation or in isolated rat lungs perfused with a physiological solution did not augment the magnitude of the contractile response. We concluded that NE is a potent stimulus for PGI2 synthesis in the rat main pulmonary artery ring and in the rat lung, yet PGI2 is not important as a modulator of NE-induced vasoconstriction in the rat lung.  相似文献

Enzyme activity plays an essential role in many physiological processes and diseases such as pulmonary emphysema. While the lung is constantly exposed to cyclic stretching, the effects of stretch on the mechanical properties of the extracellular matrix (ECM) during digestion have not been determined. We measured the mechanical and failure properties of elastin-rich ECM sheets loaded with static or cyclic uniaxial stretch (40% peak strain) during elastase digestion. Quasistatic stress-strain measurements were taken during 30 min of digestion. The incremental stiffness of the sheets decreased exponentially with time during digestion. However, digestion in the presence of static stretch resulted in an accelerated stiffness decrease, with a time constant that was nearly 3 x smaller (7.1 min) than during digestion alone (18.4 min). These results were supported by simulations that used a nonlinear spring network model. The reduction in stiffness was larger during static than cyclic stretch, and the latter also depended on the frequency. Stretching at 20 cycles/min decreased stiffness less than stretching at 5 cycles/min, suggesting a rate-dependent coupling between mechanical forces and enzyme activity. Furthermore, pure digestion reduced the failure stress of the sheets from 88 +/- 21 kPa in control to 29 +/- 15 kPa (P < 0.05), while static and cyclic stretch resulted in a failure stress of 7 +/- 5 kPa (P < 0.05). We conclude that not only the presence but the dynamic nature of mechanical forces have a significant impact on enzyme activity, hence the deterioration of the functional properties of the ECM during exposure to enzymes.  相似文献

We studied the effect of cyclic mechanical stretching on the proliferation and collagen mRNA expression and protein production of human patellar tendon fibroblasts under serum-free conditions. The role of transforming growth factor-beta1 (TGF-beta1) in collagen production by cyclically stretched tendon fibroblasts was also investigated. The tendon fibroblasts were grown in microgrooved silicone dishes, where the cells were highly elongated and aligned with the microgrooves. Cyclic uniaxial stretching with constant frequency and duration (0.5 Hz, 4 h) but varying magnitude of stretch (no stretch, 4%, and 8%) was applied to the silicone dishes. Following the period of stretching, the cells were rested for 20 h in stretching-conditioned medium to allow for cell proliferation. In separate experiments, the cells were stretched for 4h and then rested for another 4 h. Samples of the medium, total cellular RNA and protein were used for analysis of collagen and TGF-beta1 gene expression and production. It was found that there was a slight increase in fibroblast proliferation at 4% and 8% stretch, compared to that of non-stretched fibroblasts, where at 8% stretch the increase was significant. It was also found that the gene expression and protein production of collagen type I and TGF-beta1 increased in a stretching-magnitude-dependent manner. And, levels of collagen type III were not changed, despite gene expression levels of the protein being slightly increased. Furthermore, the exogenous addition of anti-TGF-beta1 antibody eliminated the increase in collagen type I production under cyclic uniaxial stretching conditions. The results suggest that mechanical stretching can modulate proliferation of human tendon fibroblasts in the absence of serum and increase the cellular production of collagen type I, which is at least in part mediated by TGF-beta1.  相似文献

This study compares the effects of 3 common stretching techniques on the length of the hamstring muscle group during a 4-week training program. Subjects were 19 young adults between the ages of 21 and 35. The criterion for subject inclusion was tight hamstrings as defined by a knee extension angle greater than 20 degrees while supine with the hip flexed 90 degrees . The participants were randomly assigned to 1 of 4 groups. Group 1 (n = 5) was self-stretching, group 2 (n = 5) was static stretching, group 3 (n = 5) was proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation incorporating the theory of reciprocal inhibition (PNF-R), and group 4 (n = 4) was control. Each group received the same stretching dose of a single 30-second stretch 3 days per week for 4 weeks. Knee extension angle was measured before the start of the stretching program, at 2 weeks, and at 4 weeks. Statistical analysis (p < or = 0.05) revealed a significant interaction of stretching technique and duration of stretch. Post hoc analysis showed that all 3 stretching techniques increase hamstring length from the baseline value during a 4-week training program; however, only group 2 (static stretching) was found to be significantly greater than the control at 4 weeks. These data indicate that static stretching 1 repetition for 30 seconds 3 days per week increased hamstring length in young healthy subjects. These data also suggest that active self-stretching and PNF-R stretching 1 repetition for 30 seconds 3 days per week is not sufficient to significantly increase hamstring length in this population.  相似文献

This experiment was conducted to determine the effect of diabetes on uterine prostanoids production in near-term rats. The incidence of an insulin therapy was also studied. On the 21st day of pregnancy, uterine PGE2, PGF2 alpha and PGI2 levels showed a significant increase (respectively p less than 0.05, p less than 0.01 and p less than 0.05) in diabetic rats compared to controls whereas TxA2 production remained unchanged. The insulin therapy restored PGE2 levels, the most potent stimulatory factor of the myometrial fiber at control values, whereas it enhanced significantly PGI2 concentrations (p less than 0.05) and had no effect on PGF2 alpha production; TxA2 levels remaining always unchanged. It is suggested that the increase in uterine protanolds production during diabetes could induce a myometrial hypertonicity and play a role in the disturbances of the fetal development. The maintenance of PGE2 levels to control values by the insulin therapy might contribute to a normal delivery.  相似文献

We have reinvestigated the question of maintenance of differential LHRH sensitivity in culture and further investigated the role of pulsatile LHRH in the in vitro release of pulsatile LH and FSH at different stages of the estrous cycle. Pituitaries were collected on each day of the 4 day cycle at 0800. In addition, pituitaries were also collected at 1500 and 1900 on proestrous. The cells were dispersed and exposed 48 hrs later to short duration 4 ng LHRH pulses; this dose was optimized for LH release and was applied at a frequency of 1 pulse/60 min. In terms of absolute magnitude of LH response, observed responsiveness was ranked in the following order: proestrous 1900 greater than estrous 0800 greater than diestrous 1 0800 greater than proestrous 1500 greater than diestrous 2 0800. Responsiveness was significantly greater at proestrous 1900 (p greater than 0.01), estrous 0800 (p greater than 0.05) and diestrous 1 0800 (p greater than 0.05) when compared to either of the other stages tested. The heightened LHRH sensitivity of proestrous was therefore maintained in cell culture indicating that the system should be valid for conducting studies on the control of gonadotropin secretion during this period. FSH did not respond in pulsatile manner to the LHRH levels employed further substantiating recent evidence that LHRH seems to function somehow less directly in FSH as compared to LH secretion.  相似文献

Aerosol bolus inspirations were used to assess lung injury in 15 isolated dog lungs exposed to low (0-375 units) or high doses (600-1,200 units) of papain. Effective air space size (EAD) was determined from aerosol deposition during a 5-s breath hold. Convective mixing was assessed by the spreading of the expired bolus with respect to expired volume, quantified by a coefficient of dispersion (CD) equal to the square root of the difference in the variances of the expired and inspired boluses divided by the volumetric penetration of the bolus. After exposure, CD measured with deeply penetrating boluses increased by an average of 2.5% in the low-exposure group (P greater than 0.05) and 28.0% in the high-exposure group (P less than 0.0001). CD measured with shallowly penetrating boluses decreased by 4.3% (P less than 0.0001) in the low-exposure group and increased by an average of 18.3% in the high-exposure group (P less than 0.05). Papain exposure caused EAD to increase in some lungs and decrease in others. For deep bolus penetrations, EAD changed by an average of -0.8% in the low-exposure group (P greater than 0.05) and +21.1% in the high-exposure group (P greater than 0.05). Both EAD and CD appeared to be sensitive to lung injury. However, changes in EAD were less consistent than those in CD, possibly due to changes caused by lung injury in the regional distribution of inspired aerosol.  相似文献

Pulmonary prostacyclin (PGI2) production, arterial perfusion, and ultrastructure were correlated in rats sacrificed from 1 day to 6 months after a single exposure of 25 Gy of gamma rays to the right hemithorax. PGI2 production by the irradiated lung decreased to approximately half the normal value 1 day after irradiation (P less than 0.05), then increased steadily throughout the study. By 6 months postirradiation, the right lung produced two to three times as much PGI2 as did either shielded left lung or sham-irradiated lungs (P less than 0.05). Perfusion scans revealed hyperemia of the right lung from 1 to 14 days after irradiation. From its peak at 14 days postirradiation, however, perfusion of the irradiated lung decreased steadily, then reached a plateau from 3 to 6 months at less than half that in the shielded left lung. Electron micrographs of the right lung revealed perivascular edema from 1 to 30 days after irradiation. The right lung then exhibited changes typical of radiation pneumonitis followed by progressive interstitial fibrosis. Platelet aggregates were not observed at any time. Thus, decreased PGI2 production is an immediate but transient response of the lung to radiation injury. Then from 2 to 6 months after irradiation, the fibrotic, hypoperfused lung produces increasing amounts of the potent vasodilator and antithrombotic agent, PGI2. Pulmonary PGI2 production and arterial perfusion are inversely correlated for at least 6 months after hemithoracic irradiation.  相似文献

A luteotropic role for prostaglandins (PGs) during the luteal phase of the menstrual cycle of rhesus monkeys was suggested by the observation that intraluteal infusion of a PG synthesis inhibitor caused premature luteolysis. This study was designed to identify PGs that promote luteal function in primates. First, the effects of various PGs on progesterone (P) production by macaque luteal cells were examined in vitro. Collagenase-dispersed luteal cells from midluteal phase of the menstrual cycle (Day 6-7 after the estimated surge of LH, n = 3) were incubated with 0-5,000 ng/ml PGE2, PGD, 6 beta PGI1 (a stable analogue of PGI2), PGA2, or PGF2 alpha alone or with hCG (100 ng/ml). PGE2, PGD2, and 6 beta PGI1 alone stimulated (p less than 0.05) P production to a similar extent (2- to 3-fold over basal) as hCG alone, whereas PGA2 and PGF2 alpha alone had no effect on P production. Stimulation (p less than 0.05) of P synthesis by PGE2, PGD2, and 6 beta PGI1 in combination with hCG was similar to that of hCG alone. Whereas PGA2 inhibited gonadotropin-induced P production (p less than 0.05), that in the presence of PGF2 alpha plus hCG tended (p = 0.05) to remain elevated. Second, the effects of various PGs on P production during chronic infusion into the CL were studied in vivo. Saline with or without 0.1% BSA (n = 12), PGE2 (300 ng/h; n = 4), PGD2 (300 ng/h; n = 4), 6 beta PGI1 (500 ng/h; n = 3), PGA2 (300 ng/h; n = 4), or PGF2 alpha (10 ng/h; n = 8) was infused via osmotic minipump beginning at midluteal phase (Days 5-8 after the estimated LH surge) until menses. In addition, the same dose of PGE, PGD, PGI, or PGA was infused in combination with PGF2 alpha (n = 3-4/group) for 7 days. P levels over 5 days preceding treatment were not different among groups. In 5 of 8 monkeys receiving PGF2 alpha alone, P declined to less than 0.5 ng/ml within 72 h after initiation of infusion and was lower (p less than 0.05) than controls. The length of the luteal phase in PGF2 alpha-infused monkeys was shortened (12.3 +/- 0.9 days; mean +/- SEM, n = 8; p less than 0.05) compared to controls (15.8 +/- 0.5). This study evaluated the effects of 4 different weekly stretching protocols on the rate of gain and decline in hamstring flexibility over an 8-week period, across sex. Using a randomized single-blind design, 53 healthy subjects aged 18-46 years were assigned to 1 of 4 stretching protocols or a control group. The stretching protocols consisted of either daily or 3 times per week stretching and performed once or twice each day. These protocols differed in terms of frequency and total weekly stretching time. All the subjects stretched their hamstring muscles for 4 weeks and were measured weekly for their hip range of motion (ROM). Stretching ceased the final 4 weeks as the weekly measurements continued. The results revealed no significant differences in the rate of gain or the rate of loss between the different stretching protocols (2-way analysis of variance, F = 2.60, p > 0.05). All the stretching groups gained in hip ROM from pre to week 4 (F = 269.24, p < 0.001). After cessation, the rate of loss was similar for all the 4 stretching groups (F = 102.86, p < 0.001); all the groups retained significant gains at the end of the study (p < 0.001). The control group did not change over time. Those who stretched at least 6 times per week gained more than those who stretched 3 times per week (24 and 16.8%, respectively, F = 5.20, p < 0.05). Subject sex did not influence ROM changes (p > 0.05). Stretching appears to be equally effective, whether performed daily or 3 times per week, provided individuals stretch at least 2 times each day. Moreover, although women are more flexible than men are, there was no sex difference in terms of stretching response.  相似文献

Arterial baroreceptors reset rapidly within minutes during acute hypertension; baroreceptor pressure threshold (Pth) is increased and the pressure-baroreceptor activity relation is shifted to the right. The purpose of the present study was to determine if prostacyclin (PGI2) or other prostanoids, released during acute hypertension modulate the magnitude of baroreceptor resetting. Baroreceptor activity was recorded from the vascularly-isolated carotid sinus during distension of the sinus with slow pressure ramp in rabbits anesthetized with chloralose. Pressure-activity curves were generated after holding carotid sinus pressure for 10-15 min from 30 to 100 mmHg. In control, the elevation of holding pressure increased Pth from 44+/- to 65+/-5 mmHg (p < 0.05, n = 12). In the presence of PGI2 (20 microM), Pth averaged 43+/-4 and 45+/-3 mmHg (n = 12) after holding pressure at 30 and 100 mmHg, respectively. In the control group before exposing the carotid sinus to indomethacin, an elevation of holding pressure increased Pth from 49+/-2 to 71+/-3 mmHg (p < 0.05, n = 12). After inhibition of the endogenous formation of prostanoids with indomethacin (20 microM), Pth increased by a significantly greater extent from 61+/-2 to 90+/-3 mmHg (p < 0.05, n = 12) with the increase in holding pressure. The slope of the pressure-activity curve (baroreceptor gain) was not influenced by the change in holding pressure. It was increased significantly by PGI2, while decreased by indomethacin. Neither the change in holding pressure nor PGI2 affected the circumferential wall strain of carotid sinus over a wide range of pressure alteration. The results suggest that PGI2 or other prostanoids released during acute hypertension sensitizes baroreceptors and provides a negative feedback mechanism that opposes and limits the magnitude of rapid baroreceptor resetting.  相似文献

An increase in episodic release of LH is putatively the initial event leading to the onset of postpartum ovarian cyclicity in ewes. This experiment was conducted to determine the relationship between hypothalamic release of GnRH and onset of pulsatile secretion of LH during postpartum anestrus. Control ewes (n = 7) were monitored during the postpartum period to determine when normal estrous cycles resumed. In controls, the mean interval from parturition to the first postpartum estrus as indicated by a rise in serum progesterone greater than 1 ng/mg was 25.8 +/- 0.6 days. Additional ewes (n = 4-5) at 3, 7, 14, and 21 days postpartum (+/- 1 day) were surgically fitted with cannula for collection of hypophyseal-portal blood. Hypophyseal-portal and jugular blood samples were collected over a 6- to 7-h period at 10-min intervals. The number of GnRH pulses/6 h increased (p less than 0.05) from Day 3 postpartum (2.2 +/- 0.5) to Days 7 and 14 (3.6 +/- 0.2 and 3.9 +/- 0.4, respectively). A further increase (p less than 0.05) in GnRH pulse frequency was observed at Day 21 postpartum (6.4 +/- 0.4 pulses/6 h). Changes in pulsatile LH release paralleled changes observed in pulsatile GnRH release over Days 3, 7, 14, and 21 postpartum (0.83 +/- 0.3, 2.8 +/- 0.4, 2.9 +/- 0.6, and 4.0 +/- 1.1 pulses/6 h, respectively). GnRH pulse amplitude was higher at Day 21 than at Days 3, 7, or 14 postpartum. These findings suggest that an increase in the frequency of GnRH release promotes the onset of pulsatile LH release during postpartum anestrus in ewes.  相似文献

There are no reports of the effect of stretch on inositol phosphates in smooth muscle. Phosphoinositide and inositol phosphate metabolism was studied in cultured rat vascular smooth muscle cells subjected to stretching. The masses of inositol trisphosphate and tetrakisphosphate increased (+34 +/- 7% and +58 +/- 12%, respectively; p less than 0.001) after 25 s of a single 20% stretch and had returned to control levels by 45 s; phosphatidylinositol, phosphatidylinositol phosphate and bisphosphate did not change. Repetitive stretch did not alter the masses of any of the compounds. A single stretch also increased 45Ca2+ efflux (+52 +/- 5%, p less than 0.01). These data suggest that stretch of cultured vascular smooth muscle can elicit a rapid, short-lived increase in inositol phosphates, which may subsequently affect Ca2+.  相似文献

Prostacyclin (PGI2) or its stable metabolite, 6-keto-PGF1 alpha (1-5 micrograms) in 2.5 microliter 0.05 M phosphate buffer (pH 7.4), was injected into the third ventricle (3 V) of ovariectomized (OVX), freely moving rats. Control animals received 2.5 microliter of buffer. In the initial experiments a control blood sample was taken and then the PGI2 was injected and frequent samples taken thereafter. With this protocol injection of 2 micrograms of PGI2 produced a significant decrease in mean plasma LH only at 60 min after its injection (p less than .05), while the higher dose (5 micrograms) decreased plasma LH concentrations at 30 and 60 min (p less than .01 and p less than .001, respectively). In subsequent experiments, blood was removed from indwelling external jugular vein cannulae every 5-6 min during 2 hours and plasma LH and PRL levels were determined by radioimmunoassay. LH pulses were monitored and several parameters of LH pulsation were calculated during the hour before and after injection of phosphate buffer, PGI2 or 6-keto-PGF1 alpha. Intraventricular injection of phosphate buffer failed to modify the characteristic pulsatile release of LH and did not alter plasma PRL levels. The amplitude of LH pulses was significantly reduced by PGI2 and the inhibitory effect was dose-related. Even a dose of 1 microgram produced a significant reduction in pulse height and the response was graded with maximal reduction occurring with the 5 microgram dose which essentially abolished the LH pulses. Following the microinjection of 6-keto-PGF1 alpha, no significant changes were observed in plasma LH values and the pulses of the hormone. Five micrograms PGI2 considerably elevated plasma PRL values during the 20-25 min following its 3V injection, whereas the same dose of 6-keto-PGF1 alpha produced only a very slight stimulatory effect. Since PGI2 had no effect to alter LH release by cultured pituitary cells in vitro, it is concluded that PGI2 can act on structures near the 3V to inhibit pulsatile release of LHRH.  相似文献

Harmonic distortion (HD) from 1,055 responses of muscle spindles sensory endings to sinusoidal stretches (frequency range 0.0008 to 0.8333 Hz, amplitude range 0.019 to 3.09 mm) has been studied in the cat soleus muscle. Sixty-six per cent were primary afferents (Ia) and 34% secondary (II). HD mean value (0.28) did not show any significant differences between both types of endings. Analysis of variance for HD versus stimulation amplitude showed a greater HD when stretch amplitudes were beyond 1.599 mm or less than 0.031 mm on primary afferents (p less than 0.001) and less than 0.070 mm on secondary (p less than 0.001). The effect of stimulus frequency was also significant (p less than 0.01 Ia and p less than 0.001 II), however only at 0.8333 Hz and in secondary endings HD was significantly higher. The silent period in the response, at release of stretch, caused by half wave rectification could explain about 50% of measured HD.  相似文献

The effects of plasma from 10 IgA nephropathy patients and from ten controls were studied on vascular prostacyclin (PGI2) production, the cyclic AMP (cAMP) level and the aggregation of normal platelets. The ability of the plasma to support PGI2-like activity (PSA) was significantly lower in the group of patients (18.0 +/- 13.3%) than in the controls (52.6 +/- 12.9%). The concentration of 6-keto-PGF1 alpha in the supernatant of the vascular tissue was also lower following incubation with patient plasma than with control plasma (p less than 0.001). The reduced PGI2 released by the patient plasma led to a significantly lower platelet cAMP than that following the control plasma (p less than 0.01). There was a significantly positive correlation between the 6-keto-PGF1 alpha and the plasma PSA, and also between both the plasma PSA and 6-keto-PGF1 alpha concentrations and the platelet cAMP level. These findings suggest that a vascular PGI2 defect may cause a reduced cAMP production and an uninhibited aggregation of platelets, which might play a role in the pathogenesis of IgA nephropathy.  相似文献
