Two oxime-functionalized diazamesocyclic derivates, namely, N,N′-bis(acetophenoneoxime)-1,4-diazacycloheptane (H2L1) and N,N′-bis(acetophenonoxime)-1,5-diazacyclooctane (H2L2), have been prepared and characterized. Both ligands (obtained in the hydrochloride form) can form stable metal complexes with CuII and NiII salts, the crystal structures of which were determined by X-ray diffraction technique. The reactions of H2L1 with Cu(ClO4)2 and Ni(ClO4)2 afford a penta-coordinated mononuclear complex [Cu(H2L1)Cl] · ClO4 (1) and a four-coordinated monomeric [Ni(HL1)] · ClO4 (2), in which the ligand is monodeprotonated. The ligand H2L2 also forms a quite similar mononuclear [Ni(HL2)] · ClO4 complex with Ni(ClO4)2, according to our previous work. However, reactions of different CuII salts [Cu(ClO4)2, CuCl2 and Cu(NO3)2 for 3, and CuSO4 for 4] with H2L2 in the presence of NaClO4 yield two unusual mono-μ-Cl dinuclear CuII complexes [Cu2(HL2)2Cl] · (ClO4) (3), and [Cu2(H2L2)(HL2)Cl] · (ClO4)2 · (H2O)(4). These results indicate that the resultant CuII complexes (1, 3 and 4) are sensitive to the backbones of diazamesocycles and even auxiliary anions.  相似文献

Four new zinc(II) cyclams of the composition {Zn(L)(tp2−) · H2O}n (1), {Zn(L)(H2bta2−) · 2H2O}n (2), [Zn2(L)2(ox2−)] 2ClO4 · 2DMF (3), and Zn(L)(H2btc)2 · 2DMF (4), where L = cyclam, tp2− = 1,4-benzenedicarboxylate ion, H2bta2− = 1,2,4,5-benzenetetracarboxylate ion, ox2− = oxalate ion, DMF = N,N-dimethylformamide, and H2btc = 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylate ion, have been synthesized and structurally characterized by a combination of analytical, spectroscopic and crystallographic methods. The carboxylato ligands in the complexes 1-4 show strong coordination tendencies toward zinc(II) cyclams with hydrogen bonding interactions between the pre-organized N-H groups of the macrocycle and oxygen atoms of the carboxylato ligands. The macrocycles in 1, 2, and 4 adopt trans-III configurations with the appropriate R,R,S,S arrangement of the four chiral nitrogen centers, respectively. However, the complex 3 shows an unusual cis V conformation with the R,R,R,R nitrogen configuration. The finding of strong interactions between the carboxylato ligands and the zinc(II) ions may provide additional knowledge for the improved design of receptor-targeted zinc(II) cyclams in anti-HIV agents.  相似文献

The three complexes [CoIIIL1Cl] (1), [CoIIIL2]+·ClO4 (2+·ClO4), and [CuIIH2L2]2+·2ClO4 (H232+·2ClO4) [where H2L1 = N,N′-dimethyl-N,N′-bis(2-hydroxy-3,5-di-tert-butylbenzyl)ethylenediamine, H2L2 = N,N′-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)-N,N′-bis(2-hydroxy-3,5-di-tert-butylbenzyl)ethylenediamine] have been prepared. The bis-phenolate and bis-phenol complexes, 2+ and H232+ respectively, have been characterized by X-ray diffraction, showing a metal ion within an elongated octahedral geometry. 1-2 exhibit in their cyclic voltammetry curves two anodic reversible waves attributed to the successive oxidation of the phenolates into phenoxyl radicals. The cobalt radical species (1)+, (2)2+, and (2)3+ have been characterized by combined UV-Vis and EPR spectroscopies. In the presence of one equivalent of base, one phenolic arm of H232+ is deprotonated and coordinates the metal. The resulting complex (H3+) exhibits a single reversible redox wave at ca. 0.3 V. The electrochemically generated oxidized species is EPR silent and exhibits the typical features of a radical compound, with absorption bands at 411 and 650 nm. The fully deprotonated complex 3 is obtained by addition of two equivalents of nBu4N+OH to H232+. It exhibits a new redox wave at a lower potential (−0.16 V), in addition to the wave at ca. 0.3 V. We assigned the former to the one-electron oxidation of the uncoordinated phenolate into an unstable phenoxyl radical.  相似文献

Synthesis of complexes with the formulations [M(CPI)2Cl2] (M = Zn, 1; M = Cd, 4) and [M(CPI)6](X)2 (M = Zn, X = NO3, 2; X = ClO4, 3; M = Cd, X = NO3, 5; X = ClO4, 6) have been achieved from the reactions of MCl2, M(NO3)2·xH2O and M(ClO4)2·xH2O (M = Zn, Cd) with 1-(4-cyanophenyl)-imidazole (CPI). Complexes 1-6 have been characterized by elemental analyses and spectral studies (IR, 1H, 13C NMR, electronic absorption and emission). Molecular structures of 1, 2, 3 and 6 have been determined crystallographically. Weak interaction studies on the complexes revealed presence of various interesting motifs resulting from C-H···N, C-H···Cl and π-π stacking interactions. The complexes under study exhibit strong luminescence at ∼450 nm in DMSO at room temperature.  相似文献

Synthesis and crystal structure of two coordination polymers of composition [MnII(H2bpbn)1.5][ClO4]2 · 2MeOH · 2H2O (1) and [CoII(H2bpbn)(H2O)2]Cl2 · H2O (2) [H2bpbn = N,N′-bis(2-pyridinecarboxamido)-1,4-butane], formed from the reaction between [Mn(H2O)6][ClO4]2/CoCl2 · 4H2O with H2bpbn in MeCN, are described. In 1 each MnII ion is surrounded by three pyridine amide units, providing three pyridine nitrogen and three amide oxygen donors. Each MnII center in 1 has distorted MnN3O3 coordination. In 2 each CoII ion is coordinated by two pyridine amide moieties in the equatorial plane and two water molecules provide coordination in the axial positions. Thus, the metal center in 2 has trans-octahedral geometry. In both 1 and 2, the existence of 1D zigzag network structure has been revealed. Owing to π-π stacking of pyridine rings from adjacent layers 1 forms 2D network; 2 forms 2D and 3D network assemblies via N-H?Cl and O-H?Cl secondary interactions. Both the metal centers are high-spin.  相似文献

A series of new binuclear copper (II) and nickel (II) complexes of the macrocyclic ligands bis(1,4,7-triazacyclononan-1-yl)butane (Lbut) and bis(1,4,7-triazacyclononan-1-yl)-m-xylene (Lmx) have been synthesized: [Cu2LbutBr4] (1), [Cu2Lbut(imidazole)2Br2](ClO4)2 (2), [Cu2Lmx(μ-OH)(imidazole)2](ClO4)3 (3), [Cu2Lbut(imidazole)4](ClO4)4 · H2O (4), [Cu2Lmx(imidazole)4](ClO4)4 (5), [Ni2 Lbut(H2O)6](ClO4)4 · 2H2O (6), [Ni2Lbut(imidazole)6](ClO4)4 · 2H2O (7) and [Ni2Lmx (imidazole)4(H2O)2](ClO4)4 · 3H2O (8). Complexes 1, 2, 7 and 8 have been characterized by single crystal X-ray studies. In each of the complexes, the two tridentate 1,4,7-triazacyclononane rings of the ligand facially coordinate to separate metal centres. The distorted square-pyramidal coordination sphere of the copper (II) centres is completed by bromide anions in the case of 1 and/or monodentate imidazole ligands in complexes 2, 4 and 5. Complex 3 has been formulated as a monohydroxo-bridged complex featuring two terminal imidazole ligands. Complexes 6-8 feature distorted octahedral nickel (II) centres with water and/or monodentate imidazole ligands occupying the remaining coordination sites. Within the crystal structures, the ligands adopt trans conformations, with the two metal binding compartments widely separated, perhaps as a consequence of electrostatic repulsion between the cationic metal centres. The imidazole-bearing complexes may be viewed as simple models for the coordinative interaction of the binuclear complexes of bis (tacn) ligands with protein molecules bearing multiple surface-exposed histidine residues.  相似文献

In order to further understand the coordination chemistry of diazamesocyclic systems, a series of mononuclear NiII complexes with 1,4-diazacycloheptane (DACH) functionalized by additional imidazole or pyridine donor pendants, including [NiL1](ClO4)2 · H2O (1), [NiL1Cl](ClO4) (2), [NiL2Cl](ClO4) · CH3OH (3), [NiL2Cl][NiL2](ClO4)3 (4) and [NiL3](ClO4)2 (5), where L1 = 1,4-bis(N-1-methylimidazol-2-yl-methyl)-1,4-diazacycloheptane, L2 = 1,4-bis(pyridyl-2-yl-methyl)-1,4-diazacycloheptane, and L3 = 1,4-bis-(imidazol-4-yl-methyl)-1,4-diazacycloheptane, have been prepared and characterized. A detailed study on the solid structures and solution spectra of these complexes indicates that tetradentate ligands L1, L2 and L3 would lead to new NiII complexes with different coordination environments in the solid states and solution. The N-methyl substituted imidazole functionalized ligand L1 forms green compound 2 and yellow product 1; while the pyridine functionalized ligand L2 affords red product 4 and green complex 3; the ligand L3 results in only one stable mononuclear NiII product 5. The solution behaviors of these interesting compounds were also investigated by UV-Vis technique.  相似文献

The ligand 1,3-bis[3-(2-pyridyl)pyrazol-1-yl]propane (L8) has afforded six-coordinate monomeric and dimeric complexes [(L8)CoII(H2O)2][ClO4]2 (1), [(L8)NiII(MeCN)2][BPh4]2 (2), [(L8)NiII(O2CMe)][BPh4] (3), and . The crystal structures of 1, 2 · MeCN, 3, and 4 revealed that the ligand L8 is flexible enough to expand its coordinating ability by fine-tuning the angle between the chelating fragments and hence folds around cobalt(II)/nickel(II) centers to act as a tetradentate chelate, allowing additional coordination by two trans-H2O, cis-MeCN, and a bidentate acetate affording examples of distorted octahedral , , and coordination. The angles between the two CoN2/NiN2 planes span a wide range 23.539(1)° (1), 76.934(8)° (2), and 69.874(14)° (3). In contrast, complex 4 is a bis-μ-1,3-acetato-bridged (syn-anti coordination mode) dicobalt(II) complex [Co?Co separation: 4.797(8) Å] in which L8 provides terminal bidentate pyridylpyrazole coordination to each cobalt(II) center. To our knowledge, this report provides first examples of such a coordination versatility of L8. Absorption spectral studies (MeCN solution) have been done for all the complexes. Complexes 1-3 are uniformly high-spin. Temperature-dependent (2-300 K) magnetic studies on 4 reveal weak ferromagnetic exchange coupling between two cobalt(II) (S = 3/2) ions. The best-fit parameters obtained are: Δ (axial splitting parameter) = −765(5) cm−1, λ (spin-orbit coupling) = −120(3) cm−1, k (orbital reduction factor) = 0.93, and J (magnetic exchange coupling constant) = +1.60(2) m−1.  相似文献

The syntheses and structural characterization of four cobalt(II)-salicylate complexes, [(TPA)CoII(HSA)](ClO4) (1), [(isoBPMEN)CoII(HSA)](BPh4) (2), [(TPzA)CoII(HSA)](ClO4) (3) and [(6Me3TPA)CoII(HSA)](BPh4) (4) [TPA = tris(2-pyridylmethyl)amine, isoBPMEN = N1,N1-dimethyl-N2,N2-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)ethane-1,2-diamine, TPzA = tris((3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazole-1-yl)methyl)amine and 6Me3TPA = tris(6-methyl-2-pyridylmethyl)amine] are described. While 2, 3 and 4 are unreactive towards dioxygen, 1 reacts slowly with molecular oxygen to a cobalt(III)-salicylate complex, [(TPA)CoIII(SA)](ClO4) (1a). Two different crystalline forms, 1a and 1a·4H2O were isolated depending upon the condition of oxidation and crystallization. The solid-state structures of cobalt(III)-salicylate unit in both 1a and 1a·4H2O show a six-coordinate distorted octahedral coordination geometry at the cobalt(III) center ligated by the tetradentate ligand (TPA) where the dianionic salicylate (SA) binds in a bidentate fashion through one carboxylate and one phenolate oxygen. The hydrated form 1a·4H2O reveals a hexameric water cluster formation in the inorganic lattice host. The complex cation and the perchlorate counterion are involved in stabilizing the (H2O)6 cluster in a rare ‘pentamer planar+1’ conformation. A one-dimensional water tape consisting of edge-shared water hexamers is observed. The water tape represents a subunit of ice structure.  相似文献

The first [Pd(Ln)2(ox)] xH2O oxalato(ox) complexes involving 2-chloro-N6-(benzyl)-9-isopropyladenine (L1; complex 1), 2-chloro-N6-(4-methoxybenzyl)-9-isopropyladenine (L2; 2), 2-chloro-N6-(2,3-dimethoxybenzyl)-9-isopropyladenine (L3; 3), 2-chloro-N6-(2,4-dimethoxybenzyl)-9-isopropyladenine (L4; 4), and 2-chloro-N6-(4-methylbenzyl)-9-isopropyladenine (L5; 5) have been synthesized by the reactions of potassium bis(oxalato)palladate(II) dihydrate, [K2Pd(ox)2]·2H2O, with the mentioned organic compounds (H2ox = oxalic acid; x = 0 for 1-3 and 5 or 2 for 4). Elemental analyses (C, H, N), FTIR, Raman and NMR (1H, 13C, 15N) spectroscopies, conductivity measurements and thermal studies (thermogravimetric and differential thermal analyses, TG/DTA) have been used to characterize the prepared complexes. The molecular structures of [Pd(L2)2(ox)] (2) and [Pd(L5)2(ox)]·L5·Me2CO (5·L5·Me2CO) have been determined by a single crystal X-ray analysis. The geometry of these complexes is slightly distorted square-planar with two appropriate Ln (n = 2 or 5) molecules mutually arranged in the head-to-head (2) or head-to-tail (5) orientation. The Ln ligands are coordinated to the central Pd(II) ion via the N7 atoms. The same conclusions regarding the binding properties of L1-L5 ligands can be made based on multinuclear NMR spectra. In vitro cytotoxicity of the complexes 1-5 has been evaluated against human chronic myelogenous leukaemia (K562) and human breast adenocarcinoma (MCF7) cancer cell lines. Significant cytotoxicity has been determined for the complexes 3 (IC50 = 6.2 μM) and 5 (IC50 = 6.8 μM) on the MCF7 cell line, which is even better than that found for the well-known and widely-used platinum-bearing antineoplastic drugs, i.e. oxaliplatin and cisplatin.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of two 1D coordination polymers [Cu2(MHL)Cl2][ClO4]2 · CH3CN · THF (2 · CH3CN · THF) and [Cu2(MPyPz)Cl2][ClO4]2 · CH3CN (3 · CH3CN), having repetitive units, of m-xylyl-based ligands with terminal tridentate (2-pyridyl)alkylamine (MHL = α,α′-bis[N-(2-pyridylethyl)-N-(2-pyridylmethyl)amino]-m-xylene) and (2-pyridyl)alkylamine/pyrazole (MPyPz = α,α′-bis[N-(2-pyridylethyl)-N-(pyrazol-1-ylmethyl)amino]-m-xylene) coordination have been accomplished. X-ray crystallographic studies reveal that the copper(II) centers in the recently reported dichloro-bridged discrete complex [{Cu(MeL)Cl}2][ClO4]2 (1) of a tridentate (2-pyridyl)alkylamine ligand [MeL = methyl[2-(2-pyridyl)ethyl](2-pyridylmethyl)amine], 2 · CH3CN · THF, and 3 · CH3CN have distorted square-pyramidal geometry, sharing a base-to-apex edge with parallel basal planes. Variable-temperature susceptibility measurements in the range of 2-300 K reveal antiferromagnetic for 1 [J (singlet-triplet energy gap) = −3.89 cm−1] and 2 · CH3CN · THF (J = −1.84 cm−1), and ferromagnetic for 3 · CH3CN (J = +6.27 cm−1) coupling. The complexes provide useful information for the magneto-structural correlations.  相似文献

Two isomeric dibenzo-O2S2 macrocycles L1 and L2 have been synthesised and their coordination chemistry towards palladium(II) has been investigated. Two-step approaches via reactions of 1:1-type complexes, [cis-Cl2LPd] (1a: L = L1, 1b: L = L2), with different O2S2 macrocycle systems (L1 and L2) have led to the isolation of the following bis(O2S2 macrocycle) palladium(II) complexes in the solid state: [Pd(L1)2](ClO4)2 (2a) and a mixture of [Pd(L1)2](ClO4)2 (2a) + [Pd(L2)2](ClO4)2 (2b).  相似文献

Reaction of [CuIIL⊂(H2O)] (H2L = N,N′-ethylenebis(3-ethoxysalicylaldimine)) with nickel(II) perchlorate in 1:1 ratio in acetone produces the trinuclear compound [(CuIIL)2NiII(H2O)2](ClO4)2 (1). On the other hand, on changing the solvent from acetone to methanol, reaction of the same reactants in same ratio produces the pentametallic compound [(CuIIL)2NiII(H2O)2](ClO4)2·2[CuIIL⊂(H2O)]·2MeOH (2A), which loses solvated methanol molecules immediately after its isolation to form [(CuIIL)2NiII(H2O)2](ClO4)2·2[CuIIL⊂(H2O)] (2B). Clearly, formation of 1 versus 2A and 2B is solvent dependent. Crystal structures of 1 and 2A have been determined. Interestingly, compound 2A is a [3 × 1 + 1 × 2] cocrystal. The cryomagnetic profiles of 1 and 2B indicate that the two pairs of copper(II)···nickel(II) ions in the trinuclear cores in both the complexes are coupled by almost identical moderate antiferromagnetic interaction (J = −22.8 cm−1 for 1 and −26.0 cm−1 for 2B).  相似文献

Syntheses and crystal structures of tren-based amide, L1, N,N′,N″-tris[(2-amino-ethyl)-4-nitro-benzamide] and L2, N,N′,N″-tris[(2-amino-ethyl)-2-nitro-benzamide] are reported and compared with previously published tripodal amide receptor L3, N,N′,N″-tris[(2-amino-ethyl)-3-nitro-benzamide]. The crystallographic results show intramolecular and intermolecular hydrogen-bonding interactions between two arms of the tripodal receptor and two other adjacent molecules in cases of L1 and L2 whereas in addition to the above interactions an aromatic π···π stacking among tripodal arms is also observed in L3. Receptors L1, L2 and L3 having electron withdrawing -NO2 substituted (para, ortho and meta, respectively) phenyl moieties are explored toward their solution state anion binding properties and selectivity studies. The substantial changes in chemical shifts are observed for the amide protons (-NH) and aromatic protons (-CH) with F and Cl in cases of L1 and L3, and only with F for L2, indicating the participation of -NH and -CH protons in the solution state binding events. Binding constants for the above cases are calculated by 1H NMR titration upon monitoring the -NH signal. Receptor L2 shows exclusive selectivity toward F in dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO). The structural aspects of binding I, ClO4 and SiF62− with the monoprotonated L1, L1H+·I·DMF (1), L1H+·ClO4·DMF (2) and L1H+·0.5SiF62−·H2O (3), respectively are examined crystallographically. Anion binding with multiple receptor units is observed via amide N-H···anion as well as aryl C-H···anion hydrogen-bonding interactions in all the complexes as observed in cases of previously reported crystal structures of anionic complexes of protonated L3. The aryl group having nitro functionality that contributes to solution state anion binding with the neutral receptor and solid state coordination in complexes 1-3 through CH···anion interactions is noteworthy.  相似文献

The reaction of aqueous solutions of the preformed 1:1 Cu(ClO4)2-polydentate amine with tetrasodium 1,2,4,5-benzene tetracarboxylate (Na4bta) afforded three different types of polynuclear compounds. These include the tetranuclear complexes: [Cu4(Medpt)44-bta)(ClO4)2(H2O)2](ClO4)2·2H2O (1), [Cu4(pmdien)44-bta)(H2O)4](ClO4)4 (2), [Cu4(Mepea)44-bta)(H2O)2](ClO4)4(3), [Cu4(TPA)44-bta)](ClO4)4·10H2O (4) and [Cu4(tepa)44-bta)](ClO4)4·2H2O (5), the di-nuclear: [Cu2(DPA)22-bta)(H2O)2]·4H2O (6), [Cu2(dppa)22-bta)(H2O)2]·4H2O (7) and [Cu2(pmea)22-bta)]·14H2O (8) and the trinuclear complex [Cu3(dppa)33-bta)(H2O)2.25](ClO4)2·6.5H2O (9) where Medpt = 3,3′-diamino-N-methyldipropylamine, pmedien = N,N,N′,N″,N″-pentamethyldiethylenetriamine, Mepea = [2-(2-pyridyl)ethyl]-(2-pyridylmethyl)methylamine, TPA = tris(2-pyridylmethyl)amine, tepa = tris[2-(2-pyridyl)ethyl)]amine, DPA = di(2-pyridymethyl)amine, dppa = N-propanamide-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)amine and pmea = bis(2-pyridylmethyl)-[2-(2-pyridylethyl)]amine. The complexes were structurally characterized by elemental analyses, spectroscopic techniques, and by X-ray crystallography for complexes 1, 2, 4, 6, 7 and 9. X-ray structure of the complexes reveal that bta4− is acting as a bridging ligand via its four deprotonated caboxylate groups in 1, 2 and 4, three carboxylate groups in 9 and via two trans-carboxylates in 6 and 7. The complexes exhibit extended supramolecular networks with different dimensionality: 1-D in 2 and 4 due to hydrogen bonds of the type O-H···O, 2-D in 1 and 7, and 3-D network in 6 as a result of hydrogen bonds of the types N-H···O and O-H···O. Magnetic susceptibility measurements showed very weak antiferromagnetic coupling between the CuII ions in 1-5, 7-9 (|J| = 0.02-0.87 cm−1) and weak ferromagnetic coupling for 6 (= 0.08 cm−1).  相似文献

Two new mononuclear spin-crossover iron(II) complexes, [FeL2(NCS)2] · H2O (1) and [FeL2(NCSe)2] (2), have been synthesized from the reaction of the versatile ligand 4,5-bis(2-cyanoethylthio)-2-bis(2-pyridyl)methylene-1,3-dithiole (L), Fe(ClO4)2, and KNCX (X = S/Se). Reactions of L with CuII or CoII salts afford one mononuclear complex [CuL(hfac)2] · CH3OH (hfac = hexafluoroacetylacetonate) (3), one dinuclear complex [(CuLCl)2(μ-Cl)2] · CH3OH (4), and two 1D chain species, [CuL2]n(BF4)2n (5) and [CoL2]n(ClO4)2n · 2nCH2Cl2 (6). The crystal structures of complexes 1 and 3-6 have been determined by X-ray crystallography. Short intermolecular S?S contacts between neighboring 1D arrays are observed in 5 and 6, which lead to the formation of the 2D structure. The magnetic properties are studied, and antiferromagnetic couplings between the CuII centers across the chloride bridges have been found in 4 (J = 2.04 cm-1). Spin-crossover behaviors between high and low spin states are observed at T1/2 = 80 K for 1 and T1/2 = 300 K for 2, respectively.  相似文献

Two new structurally related pyrimidine-based thioether ligands, angular ditopic ligand 1,3-bis(2-pyrimidinylthiomethyl)benzene (L2) and linear ditopic ligand 1,4-bis(2-pyrimidinylthiomethyl)benzene (L3), have been designed and prepared. Reaction of two shaped-specific ligands with different silver(I) salts affords three novel luminescent coordination architectures: discrete metallomacrocycle [Ag4(L2)2(NO3)4] · 2MeOH (3), 1D chain {[Ag2L3(NO3)2] · 2CCl3}n (4) and 2D wire netlike structure {[AgL3(DMF)]ClO4 · 0.25H2O}n (5). The results show that the nature of organic ligands, geometric requirement of metal atoms and counter anions have great influence on the structures of metal-organic frameworks.  相似文献

We herein describe the synthesis and characterization of a series of homoleptic, Ru(II) complexes bearing peripheral carboxylic acid functionality based upon the novel ligand 4′-(4-carboxyphenyl)-4,4″-di-(tert-butyl)tpy (L1), as well as 4′-(4-carboxyphenyl)tpy (L2) and 4′-(carboxy)tpy (L3) (where tpy = 2,2′: 6′,2″-terpyridine). Inspection of the metal-based oxidations (E1/2 = 1.22-1.42 V) indicates an anodic shift (∼0.2 V) for (L3)2Ru2+ (3b) (E1/2 = 1.40 V) relative to (L2)2Ru2+ (2b) (E1/2 = 1.22 V). The metal-based oxidation (E1/2 = 1.22 V) and ligand-based reductions (E1/2 = −1.25 to −1.52 V) of (L1)2Ru2+ (1) are essentially invariant relative to those of the structural analogue 2b (PF6)2, which suggests no significant electronic effect caused by the tert-butyl groups. This is supported by invariance in the metal-to-ligand charge transfer bands in both the electronic absorption (494-489 nm) and emission spectra (654-652 nm). However, contrary to 2b, complex 1 is both very soluble and exhibits a highly porous solid-state structure with internal cavity dimensions of 15 Å × 14 Å due to the preclusion of inter-annular interactions by the bulky tert-butyl substituents.  相似文献

The cobalt(II) complexes [Co(TPA)Cl]ClO4 (1), [Co(TPA)Br]ClO4 (2), [Co(TPA)(H2O)]Cl(ClO4) (3) and [Co2(TPA)2(μ-tp)](ClO4)2 · 2H2O (4) (TPA = tris(2-methylpyridyl)amine and tp = terephthalate dianion) were synthesized and structurally characterized by UV-vis and IR spectroscopy. The molecular structures of complexes 1 and 4 were determined by X-ray crystallography and their magnetic properties were measured over the temperature range 2-300 K. The coordination geometry around the central Co(II) in these compounds has a distorted trigonal bipyamidal geometry with four nitrogen atoms from the TPA ligand and the fifth coordination site is occupied by Cl ion in 1, Br ion in 2, coordinated oxygen atom from H2O in 3 and by an oxygen atom supplied by the carboxylate group of the bridged terephthalato ligand in 4. The visible spectra of the complexes 1-3 in MeOH show strong distortion toward tetrahedral geometry. For complex 4, analysis of the infrared spectral data for the ν(COO) stretching frequencies of the tp-carboxalato groups reveals the existence of the bis(monodentate) coordination mode for the bridged tp. X-ray data for 1 and 4 show that the former is mononuclear while the latter is dinuclear. The electronic spectrum of 4 in MeOH is in complete agreement with the assigned X-ray geometry around the Co(II) centers. The magnetic behavior of the mononuclear complex 1 is indicative of a high-spin compound with zero-field splitting. The best fit was obtained with ∣D∣ = 7.3 cm−1, g = 2.25. The dinuclear complex 4 exhibits weak antiferromagnetic coupling with a coupling constant J = −0.8 cm−1. The magnetic properties and the structural parameters of 4 are discussed in relation to the other related μ-terephthalato dinuclear Co(II) compounds. The geometry of the coordination sphere around 4 is unique - the CSD compilation listing only one other compound with such a geometry around the dinuclear Co(II) complex and its composition is far different from that in 4. However, they share a common feature of having a weakly antiferromagnetic coupling between Co(II) centers.  相似文献

Three mono-nuclear copper(II) complexes [Cu(tepza)X]ClO4 (X = Cl, 1; X = NCS, 2; X = dca, 3) and two dinuclear bridging complexes [Cu2(tepza)2(μ-C4O4)](ClO4)2·H2O(4) and [Cu2(tepza)2(μ-C5O5)](ClO4)2(5) where tepza = tris[2-ethyl(1-pyrazolyl)]amine, dca = dicyanamide, C4O42− = 3,4-dihydroxycyclobut-3-ene-1,2-dionate (squarate dianion) and C5O52− = 4,5-dihydroxycyclopent-4-ene-1,2,3-trionate (croconate dianion) were synthesized and structurally characterized by IR and UV-Vis spectroscopy as well as by single X-ray crystallography. In the solid state, the geometry of copper(II) centers in these complexes are as follows: close to SP in 2, distorted TBP in 3, predominant SP in 4, and distorted octahedral in 5, whereas in solution distorted SP geometry was generally found. The squarato and the croconato dianions in complexes 4 and 5 are bridging the two copper(II) centers in cis-bis-monodentate and bis-bidentate bonding modes, respectively. Magnetic susceptibility measurements at variable temperatures (2-300 K) reveal the weak antiferromagnetic coupling in the two bridging dinuclear complexes 4 (= −24.9 cm−1) and 5 (= −3.1 cm−1).  相似文献
