Oxovanadium(IV) complexes [VO(L)(B)] (1-3), where H2L is a Schiff base ligand 2-(2-hydroxybenzylideneamino)phenol and B is 1,10-phenanthroline (phen for 1), dipyrido[3,2-d:2′,3′-f]quinoxaline (dpq for 2) or dipyrido[3,2-a:2′,3′-c]phenazine (dppz for 3), have been prepared, characterized and their DNA binding property and photo-induced DNA cleavage activity studied. Complex 3 which is structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography shows the presence of an oxovanadium(IV) moiety in a six coordinate VO3N3 coordination geometry. The complexes show a d-d band within 800-850 nm in DMF. The complexes display an oxidative response near 0.7 V versus SCE for V(V)-V(IV) and a reductive response within −1.1 to −1.3 V due to V(IV)-V(III) couple in DMF-0.1 M TBAP. The complexes are avid binders to calf thymus DNA giving binding constant values of 4.2 × 104 to 1.2 × 105 M−1. The complexes do not show any “chemical nuclease” activity in dark. The dpq and dppz complexes are photocleavers of plasmid DNA in UV-A light of 365 nm via 1O2 pathway and in near-IR light (752.5 to 799.3 nm IR optics) by HO pathway. Complex 3 exhibits significant photocytotoxicity in visible light in HeLa cells giving IC50 value of 13 μM, while it is less toxic in dark (IC50 = 97 μM).  相似文献

Four cobalt(III) polypyridyl complexes, [Co(phen)3−n(dpq)n]3+ (phen = 1,10-phenanthroline, dpq = dipyrido[3,2-f:2′,3′-h]-quinoxaline) (n = 0, 1, 2, and 3) were synthesized and the influences of the dpq ligand on the photophysical properties, electrochemical properties, DNA binding affinities, as well as photonuclease activities of the complexes, were examined in detail. The presence of dpq ligand increases the DNA binding affinities of the corresponding complexes remarkably with respect to [Co(phen)3]3+. With the sequential substitution of phen ligand by dpq ligand, the 1O2 quantum yields of the corresponding complexes are enhanced greatly. As a result, the photonuclease activities follow the order of [Co(dpq)3]3+ > [Co(phen)(dpq)2]3+ > [Co(phen)2(dpq)]3+ ? [Co(phen)3]3+. It was found all the examined complexes can generate OH upon UV irradiation, and OH is also involved in DNA photocleavage as reactive oxygen species.  相似文献

Ternary oxovanadium(IV) complexes [VO(salmdtc)(B)] (1-3), where salmdtc is dianionic N-salicylidene-S-methyldithiocarbazate and B is N,N-donor phenanthroline bases like 1,10-phenanthroline (phen, 1), dipyrido[3,2-d:2′,3′-f]quinoxaline (dpq, 2) and dipyrido[3,2-a:2′,3′-c]phenazine (dppz, 3), are prepared, characterized and their DNA binding and DNA cleavage activity studied. Complex 3 is structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray crystallography. The molecular structure shows the presence of a vanadyl group in six-coordinate VN3O2S coordination geometry. The S-methyldithiocarbazate Schiff base acts as a tridentate NSO-donor ligand in a meridional binding mode. The N,N-donor heterocyclic base displays a chelating mode of binding with an N-donor site trans to the vanadyl oxo-group. The complexes show a d-d band in the range of 675-707 nm in DMF. They exhibit an irreversible oxidative cyclic voltammetric response near 0.9 V due to the V(V)/V(IV) couple and a quasi-reversible reductive V(IV)/V(III) redox couple near −1.0 V vs. SCE in DMF-0.1 M TBAP. The complexes show good binding propensity to calf thymus DNA giving binding constant values in the range of 7.4 × 104-2.3 × 105 M−1. The thermal denaturation and viscosity binding data suggest DNA surface and/or groove binding nature of the complexes. The complexes show poor chemical nuclease activity in dark in the presence of 3-mercaptopropionic acid (MPA) or hydrogen peroxide. The dpq and dppz complexes show efficient DNA cleavage activity in UV-A light of 365 nm via a type-II mechanistic pathway involving formation of singlet oxygen (1O2) as the reactive species.  相似文献

A family of four new phenoxo-bridged binuclear manganese(III) complexes of the general formula, [Mn(L)(X)]2 where L = [N,N′-bis(salicylidene)]propane-1,2-diamine and X = salicylaldehyde anion (sal) (1); NCS (2); NCO (3) and [Mn(L′)(N3)]2·2C2H5OH (4) where L′ = [N,N′-bis(2-hydroxyacetophenylidene)]propane-1,2-diamine has been prepared. The syntheses have been achieved by reacting manganese perchlorate with 1,2-diaminopropane and salicylaldehyde (or 2-hydroxyacetophenone for 4) or along with the respective pseudohalides so that the tetradentate Schiff base H2L or H2L′ is obtained in situ to bind the Mn(III) ion. The complexes have been characterized by IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, crystal structure analysis and variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements. The single crystal X-ray diffraction studies show that the compounds are isostructural containing dimeric Mn(III) units with bridging phenolate oxygen atoms. Low temperature magnetic studies indicate that the complexes 1-3 exhibit intradimer ferromagnetic exchange as well as single-molecule magnet (SMM) behavior while complex 4 is found to undergo an intradimer antiferromagnetic coupling.  相似文献

New ternary copper(II) complexes [CuLnB](ClO4) (1-3), where HLn is the NSO donor Schiff base derived from the condensation of 2-mercaptoethylamine hydrochloride with salicylaldehyde (HL1) or 2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde (HL2) and B is NN-donor heterocyclic base like 2,2′-bipyridine (bpy, 1), 1,10-phenanthroline (phen, 2) or 2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline (dmp, 3), are prepared, structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography and their DNA cleavage activity studied. The complexes show distorted square-pyramidal (4 + 1) CuN3OS coordination geometry in which the NSO-donor Schiff base is bonded at the basal plane and the NN-donor heterocyclic base displays axial-equatorial mode of bonding [Cu-S distance: ∼2.4 Å]. The one-electron paramagnetic (μeff = ∼1.9 μB) complexes display axial EPR spectra in DMF glass at 77 K giving g = ∼2.2 (A = 162 G) and g = ∼2.0, indicating {dx2-y2}1 ground state. The complexes exhibit visible spectral d-d band in MeCN near 650 nm and two charge transfer bands near 400 nm. Complexes 1 and 2 display quasireversible cyclic voltammetric response in DMF-Tris buffer (1:4 v/v, pH 7.2) for the Cu(II)/Cu(I) couple at ca. −0.1 V vs. SCE. Complex 3 exhibits an irreversible reduction process forming [CuI(dmp)2]+. Binding of 1-3 to calf thymus DNA shows the relative order: 2 (phen) ? 3 (dmp) > 1 (bpy). Complex 2 efficiently cleaves supercoiled pUC19 DNA in the presence of mercaptopropionic acid (MPA) forming hydroxyl radical or on irradiation with light of 312, 532 and 632.8 nm wavelength in a type-II process. Complexes 1 and 3 are cleavage inactive.  相似文献

A novel dinuclear cobalt(III) complex with the condensation product of 2-acetylpyridine and malonic acid dihydrazide, N′,N2-bis[(1E)-1-(2-pyridyl)ethylidene]propanedihydrazide was synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, spectroscopy (NMR and infrared), and X-ray crystal analysis. The complex showed a moderate activity towards Artemia salina. The highest cytotoxic potential of the complex was observed on the epithelial breast cancer (MDA-361) cell line. The investigated complex induced apoptosis, the early apoptotic cells comprising 28.18%, compared to 5.64% of control cells in the same phase. The interaction of the complex with calf thymus DNA (CT-DNA) was monitored by blue shift and hyperchromism in the UV-vis spectra. The observed intrinsic binding constant (Kb = 4.2 × 105 M− 1) together with structural analysis of the complex indicate the groove binding.  相似文献

A novel copper (II) complex of Schiff base prepared through condensation between 2-formyl-17-deoxyestrone and d-glucosamine was synthesized and characterized. Fluorescence spectroscopy was conducted to assess their binding ability with CT-DNA. The results showed that the copper (II) complex could bind to DNA with a weak intercalative mode. The interaction between the copper (II) complex and DNA was also investigated by gel electrophoresis. Interestingly, we found that the complex could cleave plasmid DNA (pUC19) to nicked and linear forms through an oxidative mechanism without the use of exogenous agents.  相似文献

Hypocrellin B (HB), a naturally occurring photosensitizer, has been extensively and intensively studied as a promising photodynamic therapy (PDT) agent. In this work, a new Co(III) complex [Co2(HB)(tmp)4]4+ (tmp = 3,4,7,8-tetramethyl-1,10-phenanthroline) was designed and synthesized with HB as bridging ligand and tmp as terminal ligand. [Co2HB(tmp)4]4+ exhibits improved water solubility, enhanced absorptivity in the phototherapeutic window, increased binding affinity and DNA photocleavage capability toward dsDNA with respect to HB. The photodynamic activity of [Co2(HB)(tmp)4]4+ stems from its 1O2 photosensitization ability, in sharp contrast to [Cu2(HB)(tmp)2]2+ which relies on superoxide anion radical (O2-) and hydroxyl radical (·OH) to photocleave DNA, though the both complexes possess similar electrochemical properties. The remarkable difference between the photodynamic mechanisms of [Co2(HB)(tmp)4]4+ and [Cu2(HB)(tmp)2]2+ was discussed in detail.  相似文献

A series of new cobalt(III) complexes were prepared. They are [CoL1(py)3]·NO3 (1), [CoL2(bipy)(N3)]·CH3OH (2), [CoL3(HL3)(N3)]·NO3 (3), and [CoL4(MeOH)(N3)] (4), where L1, L2, L3 and L4 are the deprotonated form of N′-(2-hydroxy-5-methoxybenzylidene)-3-methylbenzohydrazide, N′-(2-hydroxybenzylidene)-3-hydroxylbenzohydrazide, 2-[(2-dimethylaminoethylimino)methyl]-4-methylphenol, and N,N′-bis(5-methylsalicylidene)-o-phenylenediamine, respectively, py is pyridine, and bipy is 2,2′-bipyridine. The complexes were characterized by infrared and UV–Vis spectra, and single crystal X-ray diffraction. The Co atoms in the complexes are in octahedral coordination. Complexes 1 and 4 show effective urease inhibitory activities, with IC50 values of 4.27 and 0.35 μmol L−1, respectively. Complex 2 has medium activity against urease, with IC50 value of 68.7 μmol L−1. While complex 3 has no activity against urease. Molecular docking study of the complexes with Helicobacter pylori urease was performed.  相似文献

Abstract

The chemistry of Co(II) complexes showing efficient light induced DNA cleavage activity, binding propensity to calf thymus DNA and antibacterial PDT is summarized in this article. Complexes of formulation [Co(mqt)(B)2]ClO4 1–3 where mqt is 4-methylquinoline-2-thiol and B is N,N-donor heterocyclic base, viz. 1,10-phenanthroline (phen 1), dipyrido[3,2-d:2′,3′-f]quinoxaline (dpq 2) and dipyrido[3,2-a:2′,3′-c]phenazine (dppz 3) have been prepared and characterized. The DNA-binding behaviors of these three complexes were explored by absorption spectra, viscosity measurements and thermal denaturation studies. The DNA binding constants for complexes 1, 2 and 3 were determined to be 1.6?×?103?M?1, 1.1?×?104?M?1 and 6.4?×?104?M?1 respectively. The experimental results suggest that these complexes interact with DNA through groove binding mode. The complexes show significant photocleavage of supercoiled (SC) DNA proceeds via a type-II process forming singlet oxygen as the reactive species. Antimicrobial photodynamic therapy was studied using photodynamic antimicrobial chemotherapy (PACT) assay against E. coli and all complexes exhibited significant reduction in bacterial growth on photoirradiation.  相似文献

Ternary l-glutamine (l-gln) copper(II) complexes [Cu(l-gln)(B)(H2O)](X) (B = 2,2′-bipyridine (bpy), , 1; B = 1,10-phenanthroline (phen), , 2) and [Cu(l-gln)(dpq)(ClO4)] (3) (dpq, dipyridoquinoxaline) are prepared and characterized by physicochemical methods. The DNA binding and cleavage activity of the complexes have been studied. Complexes 1-3 are structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography. The complexes show distorted square pyramidal (4+1) CuN3O2 coordination geometry in which the N,O-donor amino acid and the N,N-donor heterocyclic base bind at the basal plane with a H2O or perchlorate as the axial ligand. The crystal structures of the complexes exhibit chemically significant hydrogen bonding interactions besides showing coordination polymer formation. The complexes display a d-d electronic band in the range of 610-630 nm in aqueous-dimethylformamide (DMF) solution (9:1 v/v). The quasireversible cyclic voltammetric response observed near −0.1 V versus SCE in DMF-TBAP is assignable to the Cu(II)/Cu(I) couple. The binding affinity of the complexes to calf thymus (CT) DNA follows the order: 3 (dpq) > 2 (phen) ? 1 (bpy). Complexes 2 and 3 show DNA cleavage activity in dark in the presence of 3-mercaptopropionic acid (MPA) as a reducing agent via a mechanistic pathway forming hydroxyl radical as the reactive species. The dpq complex 3 shows efficient photo-induced DNA cleavage activity on irradiation with a monochromatic UV light of 365 nm in absence of any external reagent. The cleavage efficiency of the DNA minor groove binding complexes follows the order: 3 > 2 ? 1. The dpq complex exhibits photocleavage of DNA on irradiation with visible light of 647.1 nm. Mechanistic data on the photo-induced DNA cleavage reactions reveal the involvement of singlet oxygen (1O2) as the reactive species in a type-II pathway.  相似文献

A hesperetin Schiff base ligand (H4L) and its complexes, [H3CuL·OAc]·H2O and [H3ZnL·OAc]·2H2O, have been synthesized and characterized on the basis of elemental analysis, molar conductivity, 1H NMR, mass spectra, UV-Vis spectra and IR spectra. The binding of these two complexes and the ligand to DNA has been investigated by ultraviolet absorption spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy and viscosity measurements. The experiments indicate that all the compounds can bind to DNA through an intercalative mode and the complexes intercalate into DNA more deeply than that of the ligand. In addition, the antioxidative activity was also determined. The 50% inhibition obtained for the ligand and its complexes demonstrates that, compared to the ligand, the complexes exhibit higher antioxidative activity in the suppression of and HO.  相似文献

Nickel is considered a weak carcinogen. Some researches have shown that bound proteins or synthetic ligands may increase the toxic effect of nickel ions. A systematic study of ligand effects on the interaction between nickel complexes and DNA is necessary. Here, we compared the interactions between DNA and six closely related Schiff base tetraazamacrocyclic oxamido nickel(II) complexes NiL(1-3a,1-3b). The structure of one of the six complexes, NiL(3b) has been characterized by single crystal X-ray analysis. All of the complexes can cleave plasmid DNA under physiological conditions in the presence of H(2)O(2). NiL(3b) shows the highest DNA cleavage activity. It can convert supercoiled DNA to nicked DNA then linear DNA in a sequential manner as the complex concentration or reaction time is increased. The cleavage reaction is a typical pseudo-first-order consecutive reaction with the rate constants of 3.27+/-0.14h(-1) (k(1)) and 0.0966+/-0.0042h(-1) (k(2)), respectively, when a complex concentration of 0.6mM is used. The cleavage mechanism between the complex and plasmid DNA is likely to involve hydroxyl radicals as reactive oxygen species. Circular dichronism (CD), fluorescence spectroscopy and gel electrophoresis indicate that the complexes bind to DNA by partial intercalative and groove binding modes, but these binding interactions are not the dominant factor in determining the DNA cleavage abilities of the complexes.  相似文献

Summary The SOD-like activity of Cu(III) -complexes with polypeptides poly-L-lysine and poly-L-glutamic acid respectively was investigated. The Cu(II)-polypeptide complexes were first oxidized by K2IrCl6 to give the corresponding Cu(III) -compounds.The oxidation of Cu(II) and the corresponding Cu(II)/Cu(III) potential was evaluated by cyclic voltammetry (c.v.), UV-Vis and EPR spectroscopic (r.t.) experiments. Spin trapping EPR spectra were also conducted to confirm the formation of the superoxide radical. The SOD-like activity of each Cu(III)-complex was proved using the nitro blue tetrazolium (NBT) method slightly modified.  相似文献

Gold(III) compounds have been recognized as anticancer agents due to their structural and electronic similarities with currently employed platinum(II) species. An added benefit to gold(III) agents is the ability to overcome cisplatin resistance. This work identified four gold(III) compounds, [Au(Phen)Cl2]PF6, [Au(DPQ)Cl2]PF6, [Au(DPPZ)Cl2]PF6, and [Au(DPQC)Cl2]PF6, (Phen = 1,10-phenanthroline, DPQ = dipyrido[3,2-d:2′,3′-f]quinoxaline, DPPZ = dipyrido[3,2-a:2′,3′-c] phenazine, DPQC = dipyrido[3,2-d:2′,3′-f] cyclohexyl quinoxaline) that exhibited anticancer activity in both cisplatin sensitive and cisplatin resistant ovarian cancer cells. Two of these compounds, [Au(DPQ)Cl2]PF6 (AQ) and [Au(DPPZ)Cl2]PF6 (AZ), displayed exceptional anticancer activity and were the focus of more intensive mechanistic study. At the molecular level, AQ and AZ formed DNA adducts, generated free radicals, and upregulated pro-apoptotic signaling molecules (p53, caspases, PARP, death effectors). Taken together, these two novel gold(III) polypyridyl complexes exhibit potent antitumor activity in cisplatin resistant cancer cells. These activities may be mediated, in part, by the activation of apoptotic signaling.  相似文献

The 1:1 condensation of 1,2-diaminopropane and 1-phenylbutane-1,3-dione at high dilution gives a mixture of two positional isomers of terdentate mono-condensed Schiff bases 6-amino-3-methyl-1-phenyl-4-aza-2-hepten-1-one (HAMPAH) and 6-amino-3,5-dimethyl-1-phenyl-4-aza-2-hexen-1-one (HADPAH). The mixture of the terdentate ligands has been used for further condensation with pyridine-2-carboxaldehyde or 2-acetylpyridine to obtain the unsymmetrical tetradentate Schiff base ligands. The tetradentate Schiff bases are then allowed to react with the methanol solution of copper(II) and nickel(II) perchlorate separately. The X-ray diffraction confirms the structures of two of the complexes and shows that the condensation site of the diamine with 1-phenylbutane-1,3-dione is the same.  相似文献

Ternary S-methyl-L-cysteine (SMe-l-cys) copper(II) complexes [Cu(SMe-L-cys)(B)(H(2)O)](X) (1-4), where the heterocyclic base B is 2,2'-bipyridine (bpy, 1), 1,10-phenanthroline (phen, 2), dipyridoquinoxaline (dpq, 3) and dipyridophenazine (dppz, 4), and X is ClO(4)(-) (1-3) or NO(3)(-) (4), are prepared and their DNA binding and cleavage properties studied. Complexes 2 and 4 are structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography. Both the crystal structures show distorted square-pyramidal (4+1) CuN(3)O(2) coordination geometry of the complexes in which the N,O-donor S-methyl-L-cysteine and N,N-donor heterocyclic base bind at the basal plane with a water molecule as the axial ligand. In addition, the dppz structure shows the presence of a 1D-chain formed due to covalent linkage of the carboxylate oxygen atom belonging to another molecule at the elongated axial site. The crystal structures show chemically significant non-covalent interactions like hydrogen bonding involving the axial aqua ligand and pi-pi interactions between dppz ligands. The complexes display a d-d band in the range of 605-654 nm in aqueous dimethylformamide (DMF) solution (9:1 v/v). The redox active complexes show quasireversible cyclic voltammetric response near 0.1 V in DMF assignable to the Cu(II)/Cu(I) couple. The complexes show good binding affinity to calf thymus (CT) DNA giving the order: 4 (dppz)>3 (dpq)>2 (phen)>1 (bpy). The intrinsic binding constants, obtained from UV-visible spectroscopic studies, are 1.3x10(4) and 2.15 x 10(4) M(-1) for 3 and 4, respectively. Control DNA cleavage experiments using pUC19 supercoiled (SC) DNA and minor groove binder distamycin suggest major groove binding propensity for the dppz complex, while the phen and dpq complexes bind at the minor groove of DNA. Complexes 2-4 show DNA cleavage activity in dark in the presence of a reducing agent 3-mercaptopropionic acid (MPA) via a mechanistic pathway involving formation of hydroxyl radical as the reactive species. The complexes also show efficient photo-induced DNA cleavage activity on irradiation with a monochromatic UV light of 365 nm in absence of any external reagent. The cleavage efficiency follows the order: 3>4>2. The complexes exhibit significant DNA cleavage activity on irradiation with visible light of 633 nm. Control experiments show inhibition of cleavage in presence of singlet oxygen quenchers like sodium azide, histidine and enhancement of cleavage in D(2)O, suggesting formation of singlet oxygen as a reactive species in a type-II process. The photosensitizing effect of the thiomethyl group of the amino acid is evidenced from the observation of significant DNA photocleavage activity of the phen complex 2 as the phen ligand itself is not a photosensitizer.  相似文献

A novel Schiff base, (S,Z)‐4‐(methylthio)‐2‐((3‐oxo‐2,3‐dihydro‐1H‐inden‐1‐ylidene)amino)butanoic acid (L) and four M(II) complexes (where M = Co, Cu, Ni and Zn) were synthesized and characterized. The DNA‐binding characteristics of the complexes were investigated using various spectroscopic methods and viscosity measurements. Analysis of the results suggests that all the complexes bind to calf thymus DNA via intercalation. Among the four, Cu(II) complex was found to promote the photocleavage of plasmid DNA pBR322 under irradiation at 365 nm. These complexes also exhibit good antioxidant activities against 2,2‐diphenyl‐1‐picrylhydrazyl radical. In vitro antibacterial and antifungal assay indicates that these complexes are good antimicrobial agents.  相似文献

Development of new chemotherapeutic agents to treat microbial infections and recurrent cancers is of pivotal importance. Metal based drugs particularly ruthenium complexes have the uniqueness and desired properties that make them suitable candidates for the search of potential chemotherapeutic agents. In this study, two mixed ligand Ru(III) complexes [Ru(Cl)2(SB)(Phen] (RC-1) and [Ru(Cl)2(SB)(Bipy)] (RC-2) were synthesised and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, UV–Vis, 1H, 13C NMR spectroscopic techniques and their molecular structure was confirmed by X-ray crystallography. Antibacterial activity evaluation against two Gram-positive (S. pneumonia and E. faecalis) and four Gram-negative strains (P. aurogenosa, K. pneumoniae, S. enterica, and E. coli) revealed their moderate antibacterial activity with MIC value of ≥250 μg/mL. Anticancer activity evaluation against a non-small lung cancer cell line (H1299) revealed the tremendous anticancer activity of these complexes which was further validated by DNA binding and docking results. DNA binding profile of the complexes studied by UV–Visible and fluorescence spectroscopy showed an intercalative binding mode with CT-DNA and an intrinsic binding constant in the range of 3.481–1.015× 105 M−1. Both the complexes were also found to exert weak toxicity to human erythrocytes by haemolytic assay compared to cisplatin. Potential of these complexes as anticancer agents will be further delineated by in vivo studies.  相似文献

A new cytotoxic copper(II) complex with Schiff base ligand [CuII(5-Cl-pap)(OAc)(H2O)]·2H2O (1) (5-Cl-pap = N-2-pyridiylmethylidene-2-hydroxy-5-chloro-phenylamine), was synthesized and structurally characterized by X-ray diffraction. Single-crystal analysis revealed that the copper atom shows a 4 + 1 pyramidal coordination, a water oxygen appears in the apical position, and three of the basal positions are occupied by the NNO tridentate ligand and the fourth by an acetate oxygen. The interaction of Schiff base copper(II) complex 1 with DNA was investigated by UV-visible spectra, fluorescence spectra and agarose gel electrophoresis. The apparent binding constant (Kapp) value of 6.40 × 105 M− 1 for 1 with DNA suggests moderate intercalative binding mode. This copper(II) complex displayed efficient oxidative cleavage of supercoiled DNA, which might indicate that the underlying mechanism involve hydroxyl radical, singlet oxygen-like species, and hydrogen peroxide as reactive oxygen species. In addition, our present work showed the antitumor effect of 1 on cell cycle and apoptosis. Flow cytometric analysis revealed that HeLa cells were arrested in the S phase after treatment with 1. Fluorescence microscopic observation indicated that complex 1 can induce apoptosis of HeLa cells, whose process was mediated by intrinsic mitochondrial apoptotic pathway owing to the activation of caspase-9 and caspase-3.  相似文献
